I got 96 00:03:53,400 --> 00:03:56,960 Speaker 1: to start off with some sports. Last night, Bronnie Ronnie 97 00:03:57,120 --> 00:04:00,800 Speaker 1: James scored seventeen points, five assists, three back. He actually 98 00:04:00,880 --> 00:04:03,920 Speaker 1: led the Lakers in scoring last night, but they lost 99 00:04:03,960 --> 00:04:05,520 Speaker 1: to the Bucks. But he did good. 100 00:04:06,040 --> 00:04:06,480 Speaker 5: That's good. 101 00:04:06,720 --> 00:04:08,080 Speaker 1: He did good. That's want to put out there. We 102 00:04:08,160 --> 00:04:09,360 Speaker 1: talked about when he does bad, but we got to 103 00:04:09,360 --> 00:04:10,440 Speaker 1: talk about when he does good too. 104 00:04:11,040 --> 00:04:11,600 Speaker 3: I like that. 105 00:04:11,840 --> 00:04:15,480 Speaker 2: What everybody does, they do? We don't what this is 106 00:04:15,480 --> 00:04:16,240 Speaker 2: the first good game? 107 00:04:16,360 --> 00:04:20,599 Speaker 1: Yes it was, I mean it was. He ain't lied. 108 00:04:21,640 --> 00:04:23,480 Speaker 11: Let's get it to the news, Okay, front page. All right, 109 00:04:23,520 --> 00:04:26,599 Speaker 11: let's get into it. So President Trump he wants to 110 00:04:27,080 --> 00:04:30,919 Speaker 11: dismantle the Department of Education. So yesterday he signed an 111 00:04:30,920 --> 00:04:34,680 Speaker 11: executive order aimed at dismantling the department and said everyone 112 00:04:34,800 --> 00:04:37,120 Speaker 11: knows it's the right thing to do. After looking at 113 00:04:37,240 --> 00:04:40,520 Speaker 11: test scores of US children, he believes the power should 114 00:04:40,520 --> 00:04:42,919 Speaker 11: be returned to the states. Let's take a listen to 115 00:04:42,960 --> 00:04:44,039 Speaker 11: President Trump's comments. 116 00:04:45,200 --> 00:04:48,119 Speaker 12: After forty five years, the United States spends more money 117 00:04:48,120 --> 00:04:52,400 Speaker 12: on education by far than any other country, yet hear 118 00:04:52,440 --> 00:04:55,479 Speaker 12: the bottom of the list in terms of success. We're 119 00:04:55,520 --> 00:05:00,119 Speaker 12: going to be returning education very simply back to the 120 00:05:00,000 --> 00:05:03,280 Speaker 12: the states where it belongs. And this is a very 121 00:05:03,320 --> 00:05:06,080 Speaker 12: popular thing to do, but much more importantly, it's a 122 00:05:06,160 --> 00:05:08,600 Speaker 12: common sense thing to do. 123 00:05:08,480 --> 00:05:11,080 Speaker 2: I don't know anything about this. But do the states 124 00:05:11,120 --> 00:05:14,120 Speaker 2: have wanted to fund their own educational systems? I mean, 125 00:05:14,160 --> 00:05:16,240 Speaker 2: I know some states do, like a California, But what 126 00:05:16,279 --> 00:05:18,600 Speaker 2: about the I don't know, art some of. 127 00:05:18,520 --> 00:05:20,880 Speaker 13: The rural area, Yes, one of the more rural areas. 128 00:05:21,000 --> 00:05:21,200 Speaker 14: Right. 129 00:05:21,279 --> 00:05:23,400 Speaker 13: You know, you're raising a very good point. 130 00:05:23,480 --> 00:05:26,440 Speaker 11: It's not going to be an equal type of situation 131 00:05:26,640 --> 00:05:29,719 Speaker 11: if you return it back to the States. The education 132 00:05:29,839 --> 00:05:33,480 Speaker 11: system does need federal funding, federal backing, and federal support. Meanwhile, 133 00:05:33,480 --> 00:05:36,599 Speaker 11: Press Secretary Caroline Levitt also spoke on the matter ahead 134 00:05:36,600 --> 00:05:39,320 Speaker 11: of the President signing that executive order, saying declining test 135 00:05:39,360 --> 00:05:42,200 Speaker 11: scores and reading, writing, math, and low proficiency levels at 136 00:05:42,240 --> 00:05:45,040 Speaker 11: every great level across every state are the reason why 137 00:05:45,520 --> 00:05:47,840 Speaker 11: the department should be eliminated. She went on to say 138 00:05:47,839 --> 00:05:50,159 Speaker 11: that the teachers' unions have not been standing up for 139 00:05:50,240 --> 00:05:52,600 Speaker 11: America's students. Now, she's not wrong in the fact that 140 00:05:52,680 --> 00:05:55,440 Speaker 11: you know, the scores have been low and in regards 141 00:05:55,480 --> 00:05:58,240 Speaker 11: to that, and also you know across the board, COVID 142 00:05:58,279 --> 00:05:58,880 Speaker 11: impacted us. 143 00:05:58,920 --> 00:05:59,480 Speaker 3: All right. 144 00:05:59,760 --> 00:06:03,440 Speaker 11: So Trump's executive order directs Education Secretary Linda McMahon to 145 00:06:03,480 --> 00:06:05,400 Speaker 11: take all necessary steps to facilitate the. 146 00:06:05,320 --> 00:06:06,680 Speaker 13: Closure of the department. 147 00:06:06,960 --> 00:06:10,280 Speaker 11: Now, Education Secretary Linda McMahon will have to get congressional 148 00:06:10,320 --> 00:06:14,680 Speaker 11: approval to officially abolish the department. And the Education Department 149 00:06:14,720 --> 00:06:18,480 Speaker 11: was first established under President Carter in nineteen seventy nine. 150 00:06:18,920 --> 00:06:20,720 Speaker 11: Now what about the teachers, Now, how do they feel 151 00:06:20,760 --> 00:06:23,960 Speaker 11: about this? Now, education advocates are speaking out of a 152 00:06:24,080 --> 00:06:26,640 Speaker 11: head of the president's executive order that shuts down the 153 00:06:26,680 --> 00:06:27,600 Speaker 11: Department of Education. 154 00:06:27,720 --> 00:06:30,159 Speaker 13: Frederick Ingham Ingram with the. 155 00:06:30,040 --> 00:06:33,479 Speaker 11: American Federation of Teachers says the President has given no 156 00:06:33,600 --> 00:06:36,440 Speaker 11: indication of what this really means, adding that he is 157 00:06:36,520 --> 00:06:40,760 Speaker 11: praying on America's most vulnerable children. Let's hear more of 158 00:06:40,800 --> 00:06:45,080 Speaker 11: those comments from the American Federation of Teachers. 159 00:06:45,839 --> 00:06:46,920 Speaker 13: Frederick Ingram. 160 00:06:47,080 --> 00:06:50,200 Speaker 15: We have heard no plan moving forward from President Trump, 161 00:06:50,240 --> 00:06:53,120 Speaker 15: noi his administration about what education should look like, what 162 00:06:53,240 --> 00:06:55,480 Speaker 15: we're going to do, and the role that the federal 163 00:06:55,520 --> 00:06:58,719 Speaker 15: government plays. These are millions of children who rely on 164 00:06:59,040 --> 00:07:03,960 Speaker 15: federal funds to have a say, school site, and to 165 00:07:04,080 --> 00:07:06,359 Speaker 15: have the resources that they need. 166 00:07:07,480 --> 00:07:07,680 Speaker 10: Yeah. 167 00:07:07,800 --> 00:07:09,800 Speaker 11: Ingram went on to say he will see the President 168 00:07:09,840 --> 00:07:13,160 Speaker 11: in court because the organization believes what the President is 169 00:07:13,240 --> 00:07:16,680 Speaker 11: doing is illegal. He says the group will sue if 170 00:07:16,720 --> 00:07:19,880 Speaker 11: Congress approves the dismantling of the Department of Education, which 171 00:07:19,920 --> 00:07:23,440 Speaker 11: again was created in nineteen seventy nine. The department sends 172 00:07:23,480 --> 00:07:26,280 Speaker 11: billions of dollars a year to schools for its most 173 00:07:26,360 --> 00:07:29,560 Speaker 11: vulnerable students to oversee one point six trillion in federal 174 00:07:29,600 --> 00:07:30,400 Speaker 11: student loans. 175 00:07:30,760 --> 00:07:32,760 Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean the brother that was just speaking is 176 00:07:32,760 --> 00:07:34,920 Speaker 2: absolutely right, you know. And then I'm just thinking about 177 00:07:34,920 --> 00:07:37,080 Speaker 2: the whole situation, Like, on one hand, yes, if you are 178 00:07:37,080 --> 00:07:39,240 Speaker 2: spending hundreds of millions of dollars on education but the 179 00:07:39,280 --> 00:07:42,120 Speaker 2: schools trash and kids on learning, that's a problem. But 180 00:07:42,200 --> 00:07:44,760 Speaker 2: what's the actual solution, Like, I just don't see the 181 00:07:44,760 --> 00:07:46,800 Speaker 2: solution being hey, the states can handle it, because some 182 00:07:46,800 --> 00:07:48,800 Speaker 2: of these states aren't going to have the money to 183 00:07:48,800 --> 00:07:49,120 Speaker 2: hand them. 184 00:07:49,120 --> 00:07:50,920 Speaker 1: But I was going to say that, like, yeah, if 185 00:07:50,960 --> 00:07:53,080 Speaker 1: the education is failure, right, and we're putting at least 186 00:07:53,120 --> 00:07:55,280 Speaker 1: millions and billions and trillions of dollars into the school 187 00:07:55,360 --> 00:07:57,600 Speaker 1: education and it's not working, how is this money going 188 00:07:57,640 --> 00:07:59,920 Speaker 1: to be allocated? Is he still allocating the money to 189 00:08:00,040 --> 00:08:02,440 Speaker 1: the money and it is saying the state handle it's 190 00:08:02,480 --> 00:08:04,280 Speaker 1: doing it, just pull it and saying yo, on your own. 191 00:08:04,360 --> 00:08:05,840 Speaker 2: He said the state's got to handle it on their own, 192 00:08:05,920 --> 00:08:07,120 Speaker 2: so that the states would have to pay for it 193 00:08:07,120 --> 00:08:08,320 Speaker 2: with their tax dollars, right. 194 00:08:08,800 --> 00:08:10,000 Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, we're not. 195 00:08:10,360 --> 00:08:12,080 Speaker 11: I don't have an answer as to what type of 196 00:08:12,120 --> 00:08:14,880 Speaker 11: federal support, if any there will be in terms of education. 197 00:08:15,040 --> 00:08:17,560 Speaker 5: So and what that brother? Like, what that brother just said? 198 00:08:17,600 --> 00:08:19,920 Speaker 5: What's the other plan for the education system? 199 00:08:19,960 --> 00:08:22,200 Speaker 2: Like they haven't heard anything except for hey, we're dismantling 200 00:08:22,240 --> 00:08:24,320 Speaker 2: the Department of Education. The states can handle it. What 201 00:08:24,360 --> 00:08:24,840 Speaker 2: does that mean? 202 00:08:24,880 --> 00:08:25,720 Speaker 16: It has to be a solution. 203 00:08:26,480 --> 00:08:27,080 Speaker 5: Absolutely. 204 00:08:27,400 --> 00:08:30,880 Speaker 11: All right, guys, we'll talk immigration and deportation on the 205 00:08:31,200 --> 00:08:32,080 Speaker 11: in the seven o'clock hour. 206 00:08:32,120 --> 00:08:33,360 Speaker 13: That's your front page news for six. 207 00:08:33,679 --> 00:08:35,960 Speaker 1: All right, well, thank you so much, Morgan, everybody else, 208 00:08:35,960 --> 00:08:38,400 Speaker 1: get it off your chest eight hundred and five five 209 00:08:38,480 --> 00:08:40,319 Speaker 1: one oh five to one. Let's get to the latest with Lauren. 402 00:16:33,120 --> 00:16:34,760 Speaker 3: Lauren becoming a straight fast. 403 00:16:36,280 --> 00:16:39,120 Speaker 1: She gets them. Somebody that knows somebody detail. 404 00:16:39,520 --> 00:16:41,520 Speaker 10: I'm the longe girl that knows a little bit about everything. 405 00:16:42,520 --> 00:16:45,920 Speaker 1: She'd be having the latest on you the law, the 406 00:16:46,080 --> 00:16:47,440 Speaker 1: latest with Lauren la Rosa. 407 00:16:47,520 --> 00:16:49,960 Speaker 5: Sometimes you have fact, sometimes you have details. Sometimes you 408 00:16:50,040 --> 00:16:50,920 Speaker 5: have a little bit everything. 409 00:16:50,960 --> 00:16:52,960 Speaker 1: So it's the latest on the Breakfast Club. 410 00:16:53,080 --> 00:16:57,920 Speaker 10: Talk to me alrighty y'a. Also currently, rapper Yellow Beezy 411 00:16:58,600 --> 00:17:00,400 Speaker 10: is in police custody. He was a US sted on 412 00:17:00,480 --> 00:17:03,840 Speaker 10: capitol murder charges over the death of Mo three. So 413 00:17:04,840 --> 00:17:07,800 Speaker 10: to write, I thought this was fake when I saw 414 00:17:07,840 --> 00:17:11,520 Speaker 10: this yesterday until I received the documents, the arresting and 415 00:17:11,600 --> 00:17:15,160 Speaker 10: charging documents. So MO three was killed on the interstate 416 00:17:15,480 --> 00:17:17,880 Speaker 10: He was shot, and during that time people were trying 417 00:17:17,920 --> 00:17:21,200 Speaker 10: to piece together what happened. So police are basically saying 418 00:17:21,240 --> 00:17:25,000 Speaker 10: that Yellow Beezy, according to these court documents, is accused 419 00:17:25,040 --> 00:17:28,320 Speaker 10: of intentionally and knowingly causing the death of MO three 420 00:17:28,680 --> 00:17:31,399 Speaker 10: on November eleventh, back in twenty twenty. Now, the charging 421 00:17:31,440 --> 00:17:35,080 Speaker 10: documents say that Yellow Beezy allegedly employed a man named 422 00:17:35,160 --> 00:17:38,000 Speaker 10: Keiwan White to murder MO three on the Texas Interstate 423 00:17:38,040 --> 00:17:41,440 Speaker 10: by use of a firearm. Now at this at this time, 424 00:17:41,880 --> 00:17:43,760 Speaker 10: that is pretty much all of the information that is 425 00:17:43,800 --> 00:17:48,240 Speaker 10: out there. I reached out to management for Yellow Beazy 426 00:17:48,320 --> 00:17:50,080 Speaker 10: to try, you know, figure out what's happened to any 427 00:17:50,080 --> 00:17:51,840 Speaker 10: additional information we can get, but that is kind of 428 00:17:51,880 --> 00:17:54,119 Speaker 10: like all we know to be fact because of the 429 00:17:54,160 --> 00:17:55,200 Speaker 10: documents that are out there. 430 00:17:55,119 --> 00:17:57,880 Speaker 1: Right now and Yellow Beezy he's a Dallas rapper. Yes, 431 00:17:58,359 --> 00:17:59,040 Speaker 1: people that don't know. 432 00:17:59,200 --> 00:18:01,359 Speaker 10: Yes for anyone who doesn't know. But yeah, when I 433 00:18:01,440 --> 00:18:02,520 Speaker 10: saw that, I'm like, WHOA. 434 00:18:02,640 --> 00:18:03,320 Speaker 5: I don't know what's true. 435 00:18:03,359 --> 00:18:04,960 Speaker 2: It was not true, But I really wish people learned 436 00:18:05,000 --> 00:18:07,480 Speaker 2: better conflict resolution skills because if that story is true, 437 00:18:07,480 --> 00:18:09,679 Speaker 2: I guarantee it's not working for either party. Because somebody's 438 00:18:09,720 --> 00:18:12,119 Speaker 2: deceased now somebody's going to prison. 439 00:18:12,600 --> 00:18:14,240 Speaker 5: You don't want you're not. It's hard to be the 440 00:18:14,320 --> 00:18:14,800 Speaker 5: charge like that. 441 00:18:15,080 --> 00:18:17,000 Speaker 1: Yeah, police have been doing it. Police have been been 442 00:18:17,040 --> 00:18:19,240 Speaker 1: locking everybody up with any type of case. It seems 443 00:18:19,280 --> 00:18:22,400 Speaker 1: like the last thirty days like crazy, they should that's 444 00:18:22,480 --> 00:18:23,280 Speaker 1: absolutely yeah. 445 00:18:23,320 --> 00:18:25,280 Speaker 10: I saw reports of uh when he talked about the 446 00:18:25,880 --> 00:18:27,719 Speaker 10: guy and again this is nothing confirmed, but these are 447 00:18:27,760 --> 00:18:30,560 Speaker 10: just reports. But I saw reports that there were phone 448 00:18:30,600 --> 00:18:34,200 Speaker 10: conversations between allegedly phone conversations between Yellow Beezy and the 449 00:18:34,440 --> 00:18:36,520 Speaker 10: person that they're saying that was hired or was the 450 00:18:36,560 --> 00:18:37,919 Speaker 10: person that actually fired the gun. 451 00:18:38,119 --> 00:18:39,240 Speaker 3: That killed three. 452 00:18:39,359 --> 00:18:44,080 Speaker 10: So three was killed when last year twenty twenty, Yeah, 453 00:18:44,359 --> 00:18:46,160 Speaker 10: it was a big case or it was a big 454 00:18:46,200 --> 00:18:49,119 Speaker 10: thing when it happened, because I mean it's someone dying. 455 00:18:49,400 --> 00:18:51,680 Speaker 10: But also the way that it happened, like they like 456 00:18:51,760 --> 00:18:53,320 Speaker 10: walked them down on the interstate. He was like I 457 00:18:53,359 --> 00:18:54,840 Speaker 10: think at one point they were like following him, they 458 00:18:54,840 --> 00:18:56,760 Speaker 10: were trying to get away, and then they caught up 459 00:18:56,760 --> 00:18:58,879 Speaker 10: with him on the interstate and shot up the car. 460 00:18:59,080 --> 00:19:05,240 Speaker 10: So yeah, yes, Now other news, you've been talking a 461 00:19:05,280 --> 00:19:07,840 Speaker 10: lot about Kanye West and his actions in here, well 462 00:19:08,280 --> 00:19:11,880 Speaker 10: MVU acts. Where are his friends and where the consequences. Well, 463 00:19:12,280 --> 00:19:14,919 Speaker 10: there are reports right now. Page six is reporting exclusively 464 00:19:14,960 --> 00:19:17,800 Speaker 10: that jay Z and Beyonce are discussing taking legal action 465 00:19:17,920 --> 00:19:21,240 Speaker 10: against Kanye West following that vulgar and offensive attack on 466 00:19:21,320 --> 00:19:25,680 Speaker 10: their kids. Now, according to the source that Page six has, 467 00:19:25,760 --> 00:19:28,480 Speaker 10: jay Z and Beyonce found it shocking that Kanye West 468 00:19:28,560 --> 00:19:31,280 Speaker 10: attacked their two youngest children. And you know, they call 469 00:19:31,320 --> 00:19:33,879 Speaker 10: it attack, discussing as a lot of other outlets have, 470 00:19:35,040 --> 00:19:37,560 Speaker 10: and this is the attack that Kanye did on X 471 00:19:37,600 --> 00:19:40,120 Speaker 10: a few days ago. Now, the source exclusively told Page 472 00:19:40,160 --> 00:19:43,119 Speaker 10: six that the couple, jay Z and Beyonce, will absolutely 473 00:19:43,200 --> 00:19:46,880 Speaker 10: not stand for it after Kanye West has spoken about 474 00:19:46,880 --> 00:19:48,960 Speaker 10: their children in a vulgar and offensive manner. Jay Z 475 00:19:49,040 --> 00:19:52,080 Speaker 10: and Beyonce are aware of the post on X that 476 00:19:52,200 --> 00:19:54,359 Speaker 10: have been since deleted by Kanye West, and now they're 477 00:19:54,359 --> 00:19:56,280 Speaker 10: discussing how they want to handle the situation, whether that 478 00:19:56,400 --> 00:19:59,680 Speaker 10: be privately or in a legal matter. According to this 479 00:19:59,800 --> 00:20:00,480 Speaker 10: enc so. 480 00:20:00,880 --> 00:20:03,600 Speaker 1: He didn't take him down because he wanted that. He 481 00:20:03,640 --> 00:20:05,400 Speaker 1: felt he was bad about it. He said he took 482 00:20:05,400 --> 00:20:06,680 Speaker 1: it down because he didn't want X to take his 483 00:20:06,720 --> 00:20:08,560 Speaker 1: account that But there I did. 484 00:20:08,520 --> 00:20:11,159 Speaker 10: See, uh, I don't remember his tweet verbatim, but there 485 00:20:11,280 --> 00:20:13,119 Speaker 10: was other tweets that he posted after that where he 486 00:20:13,280 --> 00:20:15,359 Speaker 10: was like, I'm sorry, I just wanted jay Z to 487 00:20:15,440 --> 00:20:17,399 Speaker 10: be there, or he is Kanye West, where I just 488 00:20:17,440 --> 00:20:18,840 Speaker 10: just wanted jay Z to be there for me. He 489 00:20:18,880 --> 00:20:21,119 Speaker 10: said he always felt like that, like the outcast of 490 00:20:21,160 --> 00:20:23,399 Speaker 10: the family, and jay Z didn't show up to his wedding, 491 00:20:23,520 --> 00:20:27,000 Speaker 10: didn't help him with the Kardashian drama again. And I'm 492 00:20:27,080 --> 00:20:29,560 Speaker 10: paraphrasing there because that tweet was long, and. 493 00:20:29,560 --> 00:20:31,320 Speaker 1: When you play with people kids, you don't come back 494 00:20:31,320 --> 00:20:33,680 Speaker 1: from that. He can't come back from that, justic. 495 00:20:33,840 --> 00:20:37,879 Speaker 3: So that was why he didn't. He wanted this, So 496 00:20:38,119 --> 00:20:41,480 Speaker 3: this is a cry for help from his family. I 497 00:20:41,520 --> 00:20:42,720 Speaker 3: don't talk about my kid. 498 00:20:43,520 --> 00:20:44,800 Speaker 10: Yeah, I guess. 499 00:20:45,040 --> 00:20:45,240 Speaker 5: Yeah. 500 00:20:45,680 --> 00:20:47,639 Speaker 2: Lawsuits are cool, but what Kanye really needs is his 501 00:20:47,760 --> 00:20:50,280 Speaker 2: ass beat. I 556 00:23:09,080 --> 00:23:11,280 Speaker 10: don't know this word, basically, it's a ton of bs. 557 00:23:13,600 --> 00:23:15,480 Speaker 10: He says that this is one of the most old 558 00:23:15,520 --> 00:23:17,600 Speaker 10: filmsiest film flimsiest. 559 00:23:17,640 --> 00:23:18,520 Speaker 3: I've never seen that word. 560 00:23:18,560 --> 00:23:21,560 Speaker 5: Actually, you something that just said, you read right. 561 00:23:24,840 --> 00:23:27,760 Speaker 10: Word he's trying to throw to you know, I just 562 00:23:28,119 --> 00:23:29,199 Speaker 10: want to make sure that it's a. 563 00:23:29,200 --> 00:23:31,320 Speaker 9: Group that never spelled. 564 00:23:31,400 --> 00:23:34,120 Speaker 10: But I've never seen I've never seen it actually in writing. 565 00:23:35,080 --> 00:23:36,800 Speaker 10: But yeah, he said it's one of the flimsiest cases 566 00:23:36,840 --> 00:23:39,440 Speaker 10: he's seen in his twenty one years of practicing law. 567 00:23:41,200 --> 00:23:43,720 Speaker 1: What was that live? Remember when Fay and Little TJ 568 00:23:43,880 --> 00:23:45,600 Speaker 1: did that live? That seemed like that was recent though, 569 00:23:45,680 --> 00:23:45,920 Speaker 1: wasn't it. 570 00:23:46,200 --> 00:23:48,760 Speaker 10: I remember that one, But I was confused because I 571 00:23:48,840 --> 00:23:51,320 Speaker 10: remember he did the there was an interview that released 572 00:23:51,320 --> 00:23:54,399 Speaker 10: with him and Justin Laboy, and I thought that that 573 00:23:54,640 --> 00:23:57,520 Speaker 10: was recent as well too, But I got to check 574 00:23:57,560 --> 00:23:59,560 Speaker 10: the date on that. But also he could have filmed 575 00:23:59,560 --> 00:24:02,720 Speaker 10: it and then least it after as well. But court, 576 00:24:02,960 --> 00:24:05,159 Speaker 10: the attorney's speaking on it so the dates can't be 577 00:24:05,200 --> 00:24:05,560 Speaker 10: too oft. 578 00:24:06,160 --> 00:24:08,680 Speaker 1: All right, that's the latest with Lauren. Last night, Bronni, h, he did 588 00:24:31,680 --> 00:24:34,239 Speaker 1: pretty good last night. He dropped seventeen points. He had 589 00:24:34,280 --> 00:24:36,919 Speaker 1: five assists and three rebounds. He led the Lakers in scoring. 590 00:24:37,680 --> 00:24:40,440 Speaker 1: They lost to the Milwaukee Bucks eighteen eighty nine. 591 00:24:40,520 --> 00:24:43,359 Speaker 5: But we also can't do that to Bronny. Goes to Bronni. 592 00:24:43,400 --> 00:24:46,280 Speaker 5: Were glad he dropped seventeen points, but seventeen points he's regular. 593 00:24:46,560 --> 00:24:48,680 Speaker 1: That is not regular, NBA. Yes, oh, we 597 00:24:55,160 --> 00:24:57,320 Speaker 2: wouldn't be highlighting that if it wasn't Bronie James somebody 598 00:24:57,359 --> 00:24:59,119 Speaker 2: else scored seventeen points in the NBA last night. 599 00:24:59,119 --> 00:24:59,800 Speaker 5: You don't give a damn. 600 00:25:00,160 --> 00:25:01,920 Speaker 1: But the fact is, but he led the Lakers. 601 00:25:01,960 --> 00:25:03,639 Speaker 5: We're rooting for him because he's Lebron's son. 602 00:25:03,800 --> 00:25:06,240 Speaker 1: Not only think they tore this man down, said he 603 00:25:06,359 --> 00:25:07,879 Speaker 1: was trashed and he shouldn't be in the league. But 604 00:25:07,920 --> 00:25:09,720 Speaker 1: the fact that he scoring seventeen points to show him 605 00:25:09,720 --> 00:25:10,280 Speaker 1: that he said. 606 00:25:10,119 --> 00:25:11,760 Speaker 5: That was a good That was a good game. He 607 00:25:11,800 --> 00:25:12,360 Speaker 5: had a good game. 608 00:25:12,400 --> 00:25:13,639 Speaker 1: So I want to say, you spook it up, brother, 609 00:25:13,680 --> 00:25:16,520 Speaker 1: having a good game. Okay, what's up? Morgan, what's up? 610 00:25:16,640 --> 00:25:20,080 Speaker 10: And the Charlamagne Jess, Lauren, heyho. 611 00:25:19,880 --> 00:25:21,880 Speaker 13: Crew and the listeners too. 612 00:25:22,040 --> 00:25:22,680 Speaker 10: Let's get into it. 613 00:25:22,760 --> 00:25:25,840 Speaker 11: So yesterday Borida Governor Ron DeSantis he held an immigration 614 00:25:26,000 --> 00:25:29,240 Speaker 11: roundtable with Borders our Tom Holman, who says in four 615 00:25:29,359 --> 00:25:33,280 Speaker 11: months there has been a ninety six percent decline in 616 00:25:33,440 --> 00:25:37,200 Speaker 11: border crossings now. Holman also said the Trump administration is 617 00:25:37,320 --> 00:25:41,200 Speaker 11: not going to stop removing Venezuelan gang members despite interference 618 00:25:41,440 --> 00:25:45,080 Speaker 11: from federal judges. Acting Secretary of Homeland Security Chad Wolf 619 00:25:45,200 --> 00:25:48,639 Speaker 11: also says federal judges will not stop Trump's efforts to 620 00:25:48,760 --> 00:25:50,840 Speaker 11: remove gang members. So let's take him and listen to 621 00:25:51,160 --> 00:25:54,560 Speaker 11: the comments from Borders Oar Tom Holman and Acting Secretary 622 00:25:54,600 --> 00:25:56,280 Speaker 11: of Homeland Security Chad Wolf. 623 00:25:56,680 --> 00:25:58,320 Speaker 5: I'm happy, I'm not satisfied. 624 00:25:58,600 --> 00:25:59,560 Speaker 1: We're not going to rest. 625 00:26:00,200 --> 00:26:02,520 Speaker 13: I'm not going to sleep well at night until every 626 00:26:02,600 --> 00:26:05,639 Speaker 13: public safety throughout illegal amilags eradicated from this country. 627 00:26:06,000 --> 00:26:08,280 Speaker 1: That's what will relax. And that's where we to take clash. 628 00:26:10,000 --> 00:26:11,560 Speaker 16: And so this idea that you're going to have a 629 00:26:11,680 --> 00:26:14,280 Speaker 16: judge or even you know, the left of the country 630 00:26:14,520 --> 00:26:16,879 Speaker 16: as now siding first they sided with illegal aliens and 631 00:26:16,920 --> 00:26:19,560 Speaker 16: now they're siding with terrorists instead of with the American people. 632 00:26:19,920 --> 00:26:23,000 Speaker 11: So Florida Governor Ron Descentis again says everything that President 633 00:26:23,000 --> 00:26:25,960 Speaker 11: Trump is doing by executive order to fight illegal immigration 634 00:26:26,400 --> 00:26:30,760 Speaker 11: should be codified by Congress. Now, just like I said, 635 00:26:31,000 --> 00:26:34,200 Speaker 11: all I called this, this is what the whole deportation 636 00:26:34,320 --> 00:26:37,359 Speaker 11: immigration thing is about. It's not about you know, these 637 00:26:37,800 --> 00:26:42,920 Speaker 11: the illegals that are are being the illegal criminals per se. 638 00:26:42,960 --> 00:26:44,920 Speaker 11: It's the ones that, hey, that get caught up in 639 00:26:45,000 --> 00:26:46,879 Speaker 11: the mix, that didn't do anything wrong. So one of 640 00:26:46,920 --> 00:26:50,320 Speaker 11: the migrants supported to with the Venezuelan gang members had 641 00:26:50,400 --> 00:26:54,600 Speaker 11: no criminal record Franco Cara Bayo was unexpectedly detained during 642 00:26:54,640 --> 00:26:57,520 Speaker 11: a routine check with the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement. 643 00:26:57,720 --> 00:26:59,919 Speaker 11: He was then deported to El Salvador accused of being 644 00:27:00,119 --> 00:27:02,119 Speaker 11: a part of a Venezuelan gang, and his. 645 00:27:02,200 --> 00:27:05,280 Speaker 13: Lawyer says Carvajo is a barber. 646 00:27:05,000 --> 00:27:07,960 Speaker 11: Who has no criminal record in the US or Venezuela 647 00:27:08,320 --> 00:27:11,000 Speaker 11: and has not been charged illegally with entering the country. 648 00:27:11,720 --> 00:27:14,480 Speaker 11: He added that his client was not given due process, 649 00:27:14,560 --> 00:27:15,960 Speaker 11: So that's what this is all about. 650 00:27:16,600 --> 00:27:16,760 Speaker 21: You know. 651 00:27:17,119 --> 00:27:19,040 Speaker 5: Got to keep in mind, does he have his papers? 652 00:27:19,119 --> 00:27:19,960 Speaker 5: Did he have his papers? 653 00:27:20,000 --> 00:27:22,880 Speaker 11: Like is he a legal citizen or yeah, yeah, yeah, 654 00:27:22,960 --> 00:27:25,520 Speaker 11: So he's going to probably get his due process now 655 00:27:25,600 --> 00:27:26,560 Speaker 11: that he has lawyered up. 656 00:27:26,800 --> 00:27:30,040 Speaker 13: But that's the whole you know, who walks around with papers, 657 00:27:30,160 --> 00:27:30,359 Speaker 13: you know. 658 00:27:30,560 --> 00:27:33,439 Speaker 2: Or walk around papers now you need to but I'll 659 00:27:33,480 --> 00:27:34,639 Speaker 2: tell you, matter of fact, you need to have him 660 00:27:34,640 --> 00:27:35,440 Speaker 2: taped to your forehead. 661 00:27:35,600 --> 00:27:37,439 Speaker 5: But that is racist if you just round them up 662 00:27:37,440 --> 00:27:40,480 Speaker 5: just because of his, uh, his ethnicity. 663 00:27:41,160 --> 00:27:42,840 Speaker 11: And then I'm also hearing that there are people who 664 00:27:42,920 --> 00:27:44,920 Speaker 11: are being targeted because of tattoos, you know, if you 665 00:27:45,000 --> 00:27:47,320 Speaker 11: have gang affiliated tattoos or you know, if you just 666 00:27:47,400 --> 00:27:50,159 Speaker 11: have tattoos that seem gang affiliated. Whichever way you look 686 00:28:50,200 --> 00:28:54,160 Speaker 18: at this program, PATH, it has delivered for New Yorkers. 687 00:28:54,360 --> 00:28:56,840 Speaker 4: And what is more, this program is working. 688 00:28:57,160 --> 00:28:59,920 Speaker 11: Since launching in August of last year, the city's Partnership 689 00:29:00,040 --> 00:29:04,520 Speaker 11: Assistant for Transit Homeless program has resulted in the NYPD 690 00:29:04,640 --> 00:29:07,400 Speaker 11: we'moving more than nine hundred people from the transit system 691 00:29:07,640 --> 00:29:10,000 Speaker 11: for various violations. 692 00:29:10,080 --> 00:29:12,320 Speaker 13: So you guys are up there, any thoughts on that, 693 00:29:12,920 --> 00:29:14,280 Speaker 13: You seeing anything cleaned up? 694 00:29:14,360 --> 00:29:16,920 Speaker 1: You're hearing anything now, I haven't seen nothing cleaned up. 695 00:29:17,280 --> 00:29:19,880 Speaker 1: My daughter's dancing. The last couple of weekends we had 696 00:29:19,920 --> 00:29:21,560 Speaker 1: to go to New York City and it's bad. Like 697 00:29:21,640 --> 00:29:25,360 Speaker 1: when I say bad, I mean it is bad homelessness. 698 00:29:25,880 --> 00:29:27,560 Speaker 1: I mean people that that that they look like they 699 00:29:27,680 --> 00:29:30,280 Speaker 1: drugged and zooted out. It's very, very bad, to the 700 00:29:30,320 --> 00:29:33,360 Speaker 1: point where I'm like, we're all all these shelters, We're 701 00:29:33,400 --> 00:29:35,960 Speaker 1: all all these mental houses that we had before that 702 00:29:36,040 --> 00:29:38,600 Speaker 1: would house them and help these people. I just don't 703 00:29:38,600 --> 00:29:40,760 Speaker 1: see it. And I'm sure New York can see the 704 00:29:40,800 --> 00:29:42,960 Speaker 1: same thing. And like I said, I agree, it was 705 00:29:43,280 --> 00:29:43,960 Speaker 1: it's bad. 706 00:29:44,160 --> 00:29:46,840 Speaker 2: And I don't understand when elected officials like Mayor Adams 707 00:29:46,920 --> 00:29:50,840 Speaker 2: say things like that if we don't have eyes, Yeah, right, what? 708 00:29:51,240 --> 00:29:52,880 Speaker 11: No? To your point, That's why I ask, you know, 709 00:29:52,920 --> 00:29:54,600 Speaker 11: I always like to see the parallel of what the 710 00:29:54,600 --> 00:29:57,240 Speaker 11: people see versus what the elected official is saying. You 711 00:29:57,320 --> 00:30:00,120 Speaker 11: know and if we can, and on a such a 712 00:30:00,240 --> 00:30:03,280 Speaker 11: positive good note, on this feel good Friday in Georgia, 713 00:30:03,720 --> 00:30:06,320 Speaker 11: a high school senior in Douglas County is preparing to 714 00:30:06,440 --> 00:30:08,600 Speaker 11: choose where he wants to go to college after being 715 00:30:08,680 --> 00:30:12,960 Speaker 11: accepted to fifty eight colleges and universities and he earned 716 00:30:13,000 --> 00:30:17,680 Speaker 11: over a million dollars in scholarships. And I'm at a 751 00:31:57,000 --> 00:31:59,480 Speaker 16: place where we got married on the eighteenth. That was 752 00:31:59,520 --> 00:32:03,840 Speaker 16: a couple of days. Agoule sleeps ago and it happened 753 00:32:03,880 --> 00:32:05,760 Speaker 16: when it happened because I felt worthy of her. 754 00:32:06,840 --> 00:32:11,320 Speaker 5: You know, hold on black man, I felt worthy of her. 755 00:32:11,440 --> 00:32:12,200 Speaker 4: It's found on that. 756 00:32:12,480 --> 00:32:13,160 Speaker 19: Yeah, yeah it. 757 00:32:14,040 --> 00:32:18,400 Speaker 16: She is an incredible, incredible woman. And I had to 758 00:32:18,480 --> 00:32:23,520 Speaker 16: get to that level, you know, uh, spiritually, socially, emotionally, 759 00:32:24,240 --> 00:32:26,640 Speaker 16: I had to mature a lot. And she caught me 760 00:32:26,720 --> 00:32:28,120 Speaker 16: at a time when I was in I was in 761 00:32:28,200 --> 00:32:30,479 Speaker 16: a bad way, you know, and I was very upfront 762 00:32:30,640 --> 00:32:33,720 Speaker 16: about that with her, and she said, all right, down 763 00:32:33,840 --> 00:32:35,360 Speaker 16: the plane and came to New York City and sat 764 00:32:35,400 --> 00:32:37,720 Speaker 16: with me on the on the couch and held me 765 00:32:37,800 --> 00:32:40,000 Speaker 16: when you know, when it was all going down at 766 00:32:40,040 --> 00:32:42,560 Speaker 16: the heaviest place. And the more I got to look 767 00:32:42,600 --> 00:32:44,440 Speaker 16: at her, I was like, damn, I love this woman, 768 00:32:44,680 --> 00:32:47,280 Speaker 16: you know. And then when marriage became a thing, when 769 00:32:47,320 --> 00:32:49,240 Speaker 16: it was like I'm going to marry her, I said, wait, 770 00:32:49,360 --> 00:32:51,760 Speaker 16: but marriages, I ain't. That ain't no joke, you know 771 00:32:51,800 --> 00:32:54,680 Speaker 16: what I mean. And I had to really evaluate myself 772 00:32:55,120 --> 00:32:58,400 Speaker 16: even deeper. You know, if I was to wed this 773 00:32:58,640 --> 00:33:01,960 Speaker 16: particular woman and she just helped me grow so much, 774 00:33:02,040 --> 00:33:04,239 Speaker 16: and I wasn't. I needed to be worthy of her 775 00:33:04,440 --> 00:33:06,160 Speaker 16: and be worthy of her patience and her time and 776 00:33:06,240 --> 00:33:08,240 Speaker 16: that she wasn't wasting her time on me, you know. 777 00:33:08,440 --> 00:33:08,840 Speaker 5: So I had. 778 00:33:08,920 --> 00:33:10,800 Speaker 16: I couldn't waste my time on me, and so I 779 00:33:10,880 --> 00:33:14,040 Speaker 16: had to get myself right and then we did it. Yeah, yeah, 780 00:33:14,040 --> 00:33:16,440 Speaker 16: and the journey continues, you know, like like the marriage 781 00:33:16,520 --> 00:33:18,440 Speaker 16: is the happiest day of my life. 782 00:33:18,520 --> 00:33:23,400 Speaker 5: You know, he is, like, what type of work did 783 00:33:23,440 --> 00:33:26,240 Speaker 5: you put in to be the man that you know? 784 00:33:26,440 --> 00:33:27,760 Speaker 5: She she was worthy of. 785 00:33:28,720 --> 00:33:30,440 Speaker 16: Had to get my mind right. I just had a 786 00:33:30,560 --> 00:33:33,320 Speaker 16: lot of that was just piled up that I never 787 00:33:33,360 --> 00:33:39,440 Speaker 16: really dealt with, you know, and those things hindered me socially, emotionally, spiritually, 788 00:33:39,520 --> 00:33:42,480 Speaker 16: even a relationship with my God, you know, was not 789 00:33:42,600 --> 00:33:44,840 Speaker 16: where it needed to be, you know, and she being 790 00:33:44,880 --> 00:33:46,960 Speaker 16: such a strong woman of God, that became clear I 791 00:33:47,040 --> 00:33:49,200 Speaker 16: need to work on that. So, I mean, y'all seen 792 00:33:49,280 --> 00:33:52,120 Speaker 16: the movie, and you y'all know me, you know, so 793 00:33:52,640 --> 00:33:55,040 Speaker 16: I look at something like that and it's like, all right, Jay, 794 00:33:55,080 --> 00:33:57,440 Speaker 16: what you're gonna do. I'm an actor. I appreciate the 795 00:33:57,480 --> 00:33:58,040 Speaker 16: word you said. 796 00:33:58,120 --> 00:33:58,320 Speaker 6: Man. 797 00:33:58,560 --> 00:34:01,760 Speaker 16: I trained to a seven years non stop for acting 798 00:34:01,880 --> 00:34:05,040 Speaker 16: summers whatever. I'm an athlete. I lifted, I ran, I 799 00:34:05,120 --> 00:34:06,720 Speaker 16: did that and every time I did that, I had 800 00:34:06,760 --> 00:34:08,839 Speaker 16: I had a team of people around me to make 801 00:34:08,880 --> 00:34:12,440 Speaker 16: me worthy of those jobs. And that occupation. And I 802 00:34:12,520 --> 00:34:15,000 Speaker 16: didn't do that for me, you know, I didn't do 803 00:34:15,040 --> 00:34:18,320 Speaker 16: that for myself. And so the process of becoming worthy, 804 00:34:18,640 --> 00:34:21,080 Speaker 16: you know, for her, I thought, well, apply the same thing. 805 00:34:21,360 --> 00:34:23,800 Speaker 16: I had eight different acting coaches, eight different you know, 806 00:34:23,800 --> 00:34:25,759 Speaker 16: I went to two different schools. Did this do the 807 00:34:25,800 --> 00:34:26,640 Speaker 16: same thing for yourself? 808 00:34:26,719 --> 00:34:26,959 Speaker 5: Brother? 809 00:34:27,120 --> 00:34:29,040 Speaker 16: So I did. The court helped me out with one 810 00:34:29,080 --> 00:34:36,239 Speaker 16: of them. And I actually loved those guys, you know 811 00:34:36,320 --> 00:34:38,840 Speaker 16: what I mean. I love that situation. I've always talkeome 812 00:34:38,880 --> 00:34:41,160 Speaker 16: to my my therapist. You know, I'm gonna stick with it, 813 00:34:41,400 --> 00:34:44,719 Speaker 16: you know, and do the uh the peer counseling, you know, 814 00:34:44,880 --> 00:34:46,680 Speaker 16: and all this is. You know, I got, oh, man, 815 00:34:46,760 --> 00:34:47,520 Speaker 16: were my last one? 816 00:34:48,080 --> 00:34:48,880 Speaker 10: Oh your last session? 817 00:34:49,560 --> 00:34:51,560 Speaker 16: Last one? And I think, yeah, we're getting we're getting 818 00:34:51,560 --> 00:34:53,440 Speaker 16: close to the end. But yeah, I'm gonna stick with 819 00:34:53,520 --> 00:34:56,640 Speaker 16: it because I'm seeing other people come in and that's beautiful, 820 00:34:56,840 --> 00:34:58,920 Speaker 16: you know.
