You've probably heard about the Rasmussen political polls 0:02:20.320 --> 0:02:23.040 they've done. You know, they've been doing American sort of 0:02:23.040 --> 0:02:26.560 political polls for a long time. I think they were 0:02:26.560 --> 0:02:29.799 founded in two thousand and three. They do two weekly 0:02:30.120 --> 0:02:33.280 national surveys, so they're surveying all the time, so they're 0:02:33.320 --> 0:02:36.000 getting the reason why I like this is in a business, 0:02:36.040 --> 0:02:37.520 the way I run my business, the way you should 0:02:37.600 --> 0:02:39.679 run your business. You've probably maybe heard of the term 0:02:39.840 --> 0:02:42.960 key performance indicators KPIs. It's sort of like putting your 0:02:43.000 --> 0:02:45.160 finger on the pulse of your business. And the way 0:02:45.200 --> 0:02:47.720 they run these polls is sort of similar because they're 0:02:47.720 --> 0:02:50.600 doing them every single week, twice a week, and they're 0:02:50.639 --> 0:02:53.440 sort of getting the play by play, so as things 0:02:53.520 --> 0:02:55.680 change in the market, as things change in politics, to 0:02:55.680 --> 0:02:58.399 the news, et cetera, you can see this reflected through 0:02:58.400 --> 0:03:01.680 the polls. It's really good. And what we're talking about 0:03:01.680 --> 0:03:05.640 today is the Rasmussen reports have noticed a big difference. 0:03:05.639 --> 0:03:08.280 What they've noticed is an anomaly. Right, So they look 0:03:08.280 --> 0:03:10.600 at lots of data. When you start collecting data like 0:03:10.639 --> 0:03:12.240 on your business, for example, a lot of times that 0:03:12.280 --> 0:03:14.560 data doesn't really mean anything to you, but when you 0:03:14.600 --> 0:03:17.000 look at it over long periods of time, it starts 0:03:17.040 --> 0:03:19.160 to tell you things. And specifically you see things starting 0:03:19.240 --> 0:03:22.760 to shape change and stand out anomaly, so to speak. 0:03:22.760 --> 0:03:25.040 And so they noticed this anomaly. And so what they did, because they're 0:04:00.960 --> 0:04:05.320 a polling data analytics company, they aggregated all the responses 0:04:05.560 --> 0:04:08.920 for more than twenty surveys, and he realized these people 0:04:09.000 --> 0:04:14.119 made up a very unique elite one percent, all right, 0:04:14.200 --> 0:04:15.360 and that's what we're going to look at. We're going 0:04:15.400 --> 0:04:17.640 to dive into that. So first of all, who are they. 0:04:17.720 --> 0:04:19.120 Let's just talk about that, and then we'll look at 0:04:19.120 --> 0:04:21.720 the views, we'll look at how this affects us and 0:04:21.720 --> 0:04:24.040 how we navigate it. But who are the elite? So, 0:04:24.520 --> 0:04:28.240 per all these reports, all this data he's pulled, there 0:04:28.279 --> 0:04:32.640 are people who have post graduate degrees right now, not 0:04:32.720 --> 0:04:36.400 just graduate studies, but post graduate degree. So they're the 0:04:36.480 --> 0:04:39.520 elite of the elite. They're the extra educated, if you will. 0:04:40.080 --> 0:04:43.160 They have family incomes that are above one hundred and 0:04:43.200 --> 0:04:46.560 fifty thousand dollars a year, so you know, getting close, 0:04:46.640 --> 0:04:49.200 not in the one percent of income, but they're certainly affluent, 0:04:49.279 --> 0:04:52.320 let's just call it that. So they came from good families, 0:04:52.640 --> 0:04:54.760 they went to colleges, we'll talk about the collegees they 0:04:54.800 --> 0:04:57.920 went to, and they have postgraduate degrees. Also, they lived 0:04:57.920 --> 0:05:01.440 in large cities more than ten thousand people per zip code. 0:05:01.520 --> 0:05:03.520 And so I'm sure you've probably seen like a picture 0:05:03.560 --> 0:05:05.360 of the map or a map of the United States 0:05:05.440 --> 0:05:07.600 and it's like almost all red and then you see 0:05:07.600 --> 0:05:09.839 the blue is all concentrated around the cities and this 0:05:09.960 --> 0:05:11.760 kind of back set up, so they all lived in 0:05:11.839 --> 0:05:14.159 large cities. More than ten thousand people were zip code. 0:05:14.480 --> 0:05:18.800 The elite one percent are surprisingly young. Sixty seven percent 0:05:18.880 --> 0:05:22.760 are between thirty five and fifty years old. The reason 0:05:22.800 --> 0:05:25.320 why we'll get back to this when we talk about 0:05:25.320 --> 0:05:27.680 the actual colleges, they came from the Dirty dozen, we'll 0:05:27.680 --> 0:05:31.839 call it that. However, it's because we've had a massive 0:05:31.880 --> 0:05:36.039 shift in our education system, and that's why they're predominantly 0:05:36.080 --> 0:05:39.120 so much younger. The people older than that learned under 0:05:39.160 --> 0:05:42.240 a whole different education system with a whole different ideology, 0:05:42.560 --> 0:05:45.320 I would say, with real facts and history. Let's just 0:05:45.360 --> 0:05:47.520 say that they were taught different things. So sixty seven 0:05:47.520 --> 0:05:50.560 percent between thirty five and fifty four. Eighty six percent 0:05:50.640 --> 0:05:57.279 are white, forty seven percent favor like Bernie Sanders socialist policies, 0:05:57.800 --> 0:06:02.640 seventy three percent are Democrats. Now, the gap between the 0:06:02.680 --> 0:06:07.160 elite one percent and the rest of America is startling. 0:06:07.240 --> 0:06:09.720 All right, We're going to dig into that specifically, because 0:06:09.760 --> 0:06:11.960 when you see the way that they view the world, 0:06:12.000 --> 0:06:14.200 the way that they look at government and the laws 0:06:14.200 --> 0:06:16.159 and regulations and the way they want to manage things, 0:06:16.360 --> 0:06:18.400 it's very shocking. But let's just dig into a couple 0:06:18.400 --> 0:06:21.120 of these things for a minute. So first of all, 0:06:22.360 --> 0:06:24.760 they postgraduate degree. Like I said, they're younger, and so 0:06:24.800 --> 0:06:26.520 we can see how that changed. Now we're going to 0:06:26.520 --> 0:06:30.160 talk about the importance of why that matters. Because these 0:06:30.200 --> 0:06:33.119 people with these high level degrees coming from these certain 0:06:33.120 --> 0:06:36.000 colleges we'll talk about the twelve colleges have gone into 0:06:36.040 --> 0:06:39.279 certain types of jobs. That's a big deal, right, But 0:06:39.360 --> 0:06:42.360 it also has to do with the types of jobs 0:06:42.360 --> 0:06:44.440 that they have. So the education have led them to 0:06:44.440 --> 0:06:46.680 a certain type of job, but it also puts them 0:06:46.720 --> 0:06:49.200 into a different mindset. And so when you live in 0:06:49.240 --> 0:06:52.640 these large cities and you went to these colleges and 0:06:52.640 --> 0:06:54.880 you have these types of jobs, you just think differently 0:06:54.960 --> 0:06:57.560 then you do in what we would call the flyover states. 0:06:57.680 --> 0:07:01.160 So when you're in Kansas or Iowa, or you know, Michigan, 0:07:01.320 --> 0:07:03.640 or you know you're working on the farm, or you're 0:07:03.680 --> 0:07:07.040 out in you know, Montana or Idaho, you're living in nature, 0:07:07.320 --> 0:07:11.000 you just see things differently. Right they they're in New York City, 0:07:27.760 --> 0:07:29.920 they're in they're in their hedge fund in Wall Street, 0:07:30.000 --> 0:07:32.840 for example, they take their helicopter out to the country 0:07:32.840 --> 0:07:35.240 for the weekend. They look at they look out over 0:07:35.280 --> 0:07:37.960 this beautiful land that they have and think, oh my gosh, 0:07:37.960 --> 0:07:40.720 this is so pristine, it's so beautiful. We should protect 0:07:40.720 --> 0:07:43.520 this for forever, which is not a bad idea. Three to four people out of every 0:10:18.920 --> 0:10:24.040 one thousand had this very radical, very different viewpoint. So 0:10:24.080 --> 0:10:25.760 then what they decided to do is take that group 0:10:25.800 --> 0:10:29.559 of people and only pull them versus pulling the other 0:10:29.600 --> 0:10:32.600 people without them, so sort of splitting the group and 0:10:32.640 --> 0:10:35.880 pulling them separately as opposed to aggregating the data. When all the 0:10:44.800 --> 0:10:48.199 others gave President Joe Biden, or actually, when we look 0:10:48.240 --> 0:10:50.600 at all of the voters gave President Joe Biden a 0:10:50.720 --> 0:10:53.360 forty one percent job approval, it's not that now it's 0:10:53.440 --> 0:10:57.440 much lower. But at the time side note, President Joe 0:10:57.440 --> 0:11:00.400 Biden had a forty one percent job approval. The elite 0:11:00.240 --> 0:11:03.920 one percent rated him at an eighty two percent approval. 0:11:04.360 --> 0:11:07.320 It's a pretty big difference. It's one hundred percent difference. 0:11:08.040 --> 0:11:10.080 Think about that for a minute. Why is there such 0:11:10.080 --> 0:11:13.920 a disparity between those numbers? I want to 0:12:19.440 --> 0:12:21.160 tell you, I mean that they control your kids, how 0:12:21.200 --> 0:12:23.360 they control them. He just put a bill forward that 0:12:23.440 --> 0:12:27.479 wants to make a law in California where auto manufacturers 0:12:27.520 --> 0:12:30.319 are no longer able to sell cars in the state 0:12:30.640 --> 0:12:33.480 that go more than eighty miles an hour. Now, we 0:12:33.520 --> 0:12:36.320 already have speed limit laws, but no, that's not enough. 0:12:36.480 --> 0:12:39.400 He wants to micromanage the details of your life so 0:12:39.480 --> 0:12:41.800 much that your car can't even go over that.
