Yeah, maybe it's possible. 0:06:38.160 --> 0:06:40.480 He said that it's to him, he thought it was 0:06:40.560 --> 0:06:44.840 cyclonic wind action. Um. 0:07:44.200 --> 0:07:48.640 But there was a dude who happened to be in 0:07:48.680 --> 0:07:51.760 Australia at the time when it was being reported on. 0:07:51.840 --> 0:07:55.240 It was, you know, a big hubbub and everything, and um. 0:07:55.400 --> 0:08:02.000 His name was Dave Circle, Dave crops Are, No, I'm sorry, 0:08:02.000 --> 0:08:05.960 his buddy's his name is Dave Doug Bauer and Doug Bauer. 0:08:06.000 --> 0:08:08.120 When he got back from Australia, he was hanging out 0:08:08.480 --> 0:08:12.160 with a friend of his one night in drunk there. 0:08:12.160 --> 0:08:14.000 They'll just come out and admitute they were drunk at 0:08:14.000 --> 0:08:16.600 the pub and he told his buddy about that and 0:08:16.640 --> 0:08:18.960 they said, wouldn't that be hilarious if we went out 0:08:19.360 --> 0:08:23.360 and made our own crop circle? Even farmers were saying, come to 0:09:19.920 --> 0:09:23.000 my farm and pay me some shillings and come look 0:09:23.000 --> 0:09:26.000 at my cool crop circle. Well apparently they were charging 0:09:26.040 --> 0:09:28.560 to offset the damage under their crops by so many 0:09:28.600 --> 0:09:31.440 people flocking to these farms. Yeah, I saw where it could. 0:09:31.720 --> 0:09:33.560 It didn't damage the crops. I just don't see how 0:09:33.559 --> 0:09:38.520 that's possible the actual crop circle itself. There's even a movie called Science, a terrible, 0:11:16.880 --> 0:11:20.960 terrible movie um starring Mel Gibson about this very thing. 0:11:21.880 --> 0:11:23.880 Um So, there's a lot of people who bought into 0:11:23.920 --> 0:11:26.880 it like that. And as as the awareness of crop 0:11:26.920 --> 0:11:30.480 circles grew, so did the complexity of them to where 0:11:30.520 --> 0:11:32.720 you did have people who were sitting down and coming 0:11:32.760 --> 0:11:36.520 up with like really incredible math and then going out 0:11:36.600 --> 0:11:39.600 and doing it in a crop circle form. Yeah, and 0:11:39.679 --> 0:11:44.679 some people uh use that like it's it's this one 0:11:44.840 --> 0:11:47.720 is exactly four times larger than the one below it 0:11:47.840 --> 0:11:51.679 and as evidence that it's something extraordinary and not just 0:11:51.840 --> 0:11:55.640 people who are good at figuring out design and geometry 0:11:55.640 --> 0:11:58.600 and math. There's there's specifically, a man who kind of 0:11:58.760 --> 0:12:03.200 um uh I guess provided a stumbling block to the 0:12:03.320 --> 0:12:08.800 debunking of UM crop circles. His name is Gerald S. Hawkins, 0:12:08.880 --> 0:12:13.439 and he is a retired astronomer who became a crop 0:12:13.520 --> 0:12:18.280 circle enthusiast, and he used his math skills to analyze 0:12:18.320 --> 0:12:23.079 crop circles and basically said, I've discovered a new kind 0:12:23.120 --> 0:12:31.120 of Euclidean geometry in crop circles, which implies that there 0:12:31.280 --> 0:12:35.679 was some non human agency creating crop circles, something advanced, 0:12:35.679 --> 0:12:39.040 beyond the scope of human understanding. Because if this incredibly 0:12:39.240 --> 0:12:44.079 brilliant mathematician could learn something from the something new, and 0:12:44.160 --> 0:12:47.560 that implied that something extraterrestrial was behind him while his 0:12:47.640 --> 0:12:52.080 findings have been UM challenge time and time again. So 0:12:52.160 --> 0:12:54.199 he believed that he believed it was I thought, he 0:12:54.200 --> 0:12:58.400 said he was debunking. No, no, he he confounded debunking. 0:12:58.480 --> 0:13:02.120 He created this bunk he did bunk um. And the 0:13:02.160 --> 0:13:05.080 thing is like the language he's using, the math he's 0:13:05.120 --> 0:13:08.600 using is real math. So the average person can't come 0:13:08.640 --> 0:13:09.920 in and look at this and be like this is 0:13:09.920 --> 0:13:12.760 wrong for this and this reason and this reason, um, 0:13:12.840 --> 0:13:15.480 and then his I think the real giveaway though, is 0:13:15.800 --> 0:13:19.640 his work is not discussed at all, and what appears 0:13:19.679 --> 0:13:25.360 to be normal um academic math forums, it's just it 0:13:25.440 --> 0:13:28.319 doesn't exist.
