A man named John Edmonds who he 0:02:21.440 --> 0:02:24.480 worked for a long time as a counselor and a therapist, 0:02:26.240 --> 0:02:28.800 and in his late thirties, he decided he wanted a 0:02:28.840 --> 0:02:31.120 more natural life out in the country, and so he 0:02:31.320 --> 0:02:34.880 and his wife decided to buy this ranch about an 0:02:34.880 --> 0:02:40.640 hour's drive outside of Phoenix, Arizona, called Stardust Ranch, and 0:02:40.800 --> 0:02:45.840 this is a very remote area, and so it was 0:02:45.880 --> 0:02:50.440 a big property, ten acres. The house was like three 0:02:50.520 --> 0:02:53.919 and a half thousand square feet, five bedrooms, three bathrooms, 0:02:54.600 --> 0:02:57.360 large storage area, swimming pool, all that kind of stuff. 0:02:57.560 --> 0:03:00.000 The idea was that they were going to open up 0:03:00.560 --> 0:03:05.480 some stables there and they would make money by selling 0:03:06.120 --> 0:03:09.040 horse riding trips and that kind of stuff. You know. 0:03:09.080 --> 0:03:13.959 He had ideas for how he could profit from living there. 0:03:15.160 --> 0:03:18.680 And when he and his wife bought the house, they 0:03:19.040 --> 0:03:21.120 were told they found out that it did have a 0:03:21.160 --> 0:03:24.680 spooky history. The house had been built in the nineteen seventies, 0:03:26.200 --> 0:03:29.919 and so he bought this house around nineteen ninety six. 0:03:30.880 --> 0:03:32.400 So the house had been around for a while, and 0:03:32.600 --> 0:03:36.720 apparently at some point, I think in the seventies, there 0:03:36.920 --> 0:03:40.840 was a suicide in the house. A young man killed himself, 0:03:41.680 --> 0:03:47.559 and so the house already had a spooky reputation. But nonetheless, 0:03:48.200 --> 0:03:52.600 you know, this was his dream come true. At first, it was 0:04:02.720 --> 0:04:06.360 you know, more moderate stuff, ghostly stuff like shadows weaving around, 0:04:06.960 --> 0:04:13.200 objects being displaced, all that, and then things just continued 0:04:13.240 --> 0:04:16.480 to escalate. At one point, there was this weird man 0:04:16.520 --> 0:04:20.000 who just showed up wandering around his property. The man 0:04:20.200 --> 0:04:22.720 was he looked all disheveled, and he looked he had 0:04:22.760 --> 0:04:25.760 a distant look in his eye, and he was carrying 0:04:25.800 --> 0:04:31.719 a machetty. And John said, what are you doing? And 0:04:31.760 --> 0:04:35.640 the guy says, oh, I'm the one who kills the monsters. Okay. 0:04:35.760 --> 0:04:39.919 So all this kind of bizarre stuff continued, continued to 0:04:40.320 --> 0:04:45.480 intensify until finally he and his wife started being abducted 0:04:45.600 --> 0:04:52.840 by aliens at night in their bedroom. And I'm talking 0:04:52.880 --> 0:04:58.520 about you know, it may have first been dreamlike experiences, 0:04:58.560 --> 0:05:02.080 but very quickly they realized, oh no, no, there are real 0:05:02.240 --> 0:05:04.920 physical aliens coming into the house at night. He described that he was driving down 0:05:47.800 --> 0:05:50.280 a road one day and there was a truck in 0:05:50.279 --> 0:05:54.080 front of him that had big bundles of stuff, and 0:05:54.120 --> 0:05:56.200 he knew something was going to fall off, and sure enough, 0:05:56.200 --> 0:05:58.599 an object fell off, and it was this Samurai sword. 0:05:59.240 --> 0:06:02.800 Samurai STI elseword, and he felt like this was a 0:06:02.839 --> 0:06:06.920 gift from God. And so after that, the next time 0:06:06.920 --> 0:06:10.320 he saw an alien in his house or on his property, 0:06:10.480 --> 0:06:14.760 in both cases he found that he could he could 0:06:14.839 --> 0:06:17.280 kill them with this sword. Okay, he could cut their 0:06:17.279 --> 0:06:24.640 head off. And edmund was talking about 0:07:50.320 --> 0:07:53.120 using this sort to kill the aliens and telling the 0:07:53.160 --> 0:07:57.440 story right, John Edmunds. It's easy to say John edmund 0:07:57.480 --> 0:08:04.000 It's John Edmunds. So they tried to sell the place 0:08:04.560 --> 0:08:10.720 and nobody wanted it. I can see why. And then 0:08:10.960 --> 0:08:14.960 when he was I think in his early sixties, he died. 0:08:15.320 --> 0:08:19.840 John Edmunds died February of twenty twenty two. So I contacted 0:16:31.320 --> 0:16:35.160 them and said, he guess watch, you know, I've got 0:16:35.160 --> 0:16:39.600 this marvelous thing, this great opportunity. And I was saying, 0:16:41.400 --> 0:16:46.160 you know, I'm willing to pay whatever and it is necessary. 0:16:46.200 --> 0:16:49.680 And I was shocked when both of them were like, no, sorry, 0:16:49.760 --> 0:16:55.160 can't do that. Why why why not? Like, well, because 0:16:56.200 --> 0:16:59.000 it's like we know what you do, Joshua, and we 0:16:59.080 --> 0:17:03.880 appreciate what you do. But if we start associating ourselves 0:17:03.920 --> 0:17:08.280 with this kind of thing, then it's jeopardizing our credibility 0:17:08.320 --> 0:17:09.879 and so we just can't do it. And I just kept hitting roadblock after roadblock, 0:18:05.280 --> 0:18:07.560 and it was the same old thing. Now, sure, like 0:18:08.320 --> 0:18:10.840 you can go and you have like DNA tested for 0:18:11.040 --> 0:18:13.600 paternity or something like that to see who the father 0:18:13.680 --> 0:18:17.600 of a kid is or something. But you see, here's 0:18:17.600 --> 0:18:20.680 the problem that people don't A lot of people don't 0:18:20.720 --> 0:18:22.639 realize that this is the problem when it comes to 0:18:23.400 --> 0:18:30.720 DNA testing weird things. DNA, the process of DNA science 0:18:30.920 --> 0:18:37.240 is great at matching up to things. So let's say 0:18:37.600 --> 0:18:43.440 you have you have well, like on a crime scene. Okay, 0:18:43.480 --> 0:18:46.719 you have a fluid or something or a hair on 0:18:46.760 --> 0:18:50.480 a crime scene, and you can take that and then 0:18:50.520 --> 0:18:54.160 take a piece of DNA from this individual and see 0:18:54.200 --> 0:18:59.399 if they match up. That is very effective. And you 0:18:59.440 --> 0:19:05.560 can also match DNA to a known animal. So let's say, 0:19:05.640 --> 0:19:07.280 you know, if you go out there and you get 0:19:07.280 --> 0:19:12.480 a frog and we all agree this is a frog. 0:19:12.560 --> 0:19:15.880 It's a real frog, and you get that frog's DNA 0:19:16.119 --> 0:19:18.760 and you say, here's what that That frog's DNA looks 0:19:18.800 --> 0:19:23.560 like this. You put that into the DNA catalog and 0:19:23.600 --> 0:19:27.800 from there on, if you have a mysterious DNA, you 0:19:27.840 --> 0:19:31.199 can say, well this we look at look at this. 0:19:31.359 --> 0:19:36.160 It matched up with the frog. But if there is 0:19:36.440 --> 0:19:43.919 no accepted specimen of something that exists out there, then 0:19:44.520 --> 0:19:48.159 a scientist doesn't have anything to match the DNA with. 0:19:50.080 --> 0:19:53.280 And so it's like, how do how do we know 0:19:53.400 --> 0:19:57.600 if this is an alien's DNA? If you don't have 0:19:57.960 --> 0:20:01.800 a dead alien specimen out there and you can that 0:20:01.880 --> 0:20:07.400 you could compare this with. And this goes for bigfoot, 0:20:07.800 --> 0:20:10.480 and it's like you here are these people say, look, 0:20:10.480 --> 0:20:15.200 we have bigfoot DNA. Well maybe you believe that because 0:20:15.240 --> 0:20:17.680 maybe you've got some weird DNA, but if you can't 0:20:17.720 --> 0:20:21.120 compare it to a bigfoot specimen, you can't say this 0:20:21.160 --> 0:20:25.199 is bigfoot DNA, and that goes for all cryptids. And 0:20:25.240 --> 0:20:28.359 this is the challenge when it comes to getting people 0:20:29.200 --> 0:20:34.520 who are credible to want to test these bizarre, unknown 0:20:34.760 --> 0:20:39.520 varieties of DNA.
