Okay, well, 0:01:26.520 --> 0:01:29.520 Ronnie read if you have you haven't paid ben and 0:01:29.560 --> 0:01:32.679 paying attention on Ronnie Reid was a man who was 0:01:32.920 --> 0:01:36.000 on death row for the last twenty years for the 0:01:36.080 --> 0:01:39.959 rape and murder of what's her name, uh, Stacy Sites, 0:01:40.120 --> 0:01:46.759 Stacy Sites or sit. So he was on death row 0:01:47.240 --> 0:01:50.880 for the murder of this woman and over the last 0:01:50.880 --> 0:01:55.200 couple of weeks people have petition to stop his execution 0:01:55.880 --> 0:01:59.160 and there was newly discovered evidence. There were witnesses that 0:01:59.280 --> 0:02:05.040 came forward that UM pretty much strong song doubt that 0:02:05.160 --> 0:02:10.200 he even committed this crime. And UM, through the work yea, 0:02:11.120 --> 0:02:14.560 through all of this work he was, they gave him 0:02:14.560 --> 0:02:17.359 a stay of execution. But the Innocence Project has been 0:02:40.480 --> 0:02:43.480 on this case for eighteen years. And then we saw 0:02:44.639 --> 0:02:48.480 Lee Merritt, Attorney Lee Merritt and Shaun king Um picked 0:02:48.480 --> 0:02:51.040 it up and really brought it to our attention and 0:02:51.080 --> 0:02:54.000 started a campaign that a lot of people, millions of 0:02:54.040 --> 0:02:58.800 people got involved with, millid with and UM. So after 0:02:58.880 --> 0:03:02.800 he was gave him this stay of execution, there are 0:03:02.840 --> 0:03:06.360 a lot of the back his back history and other 0:03:06.840 --> 0:03:10.799 crimes that he's been accused of came up.
