We're a reproductive health 0:02:43.080 --> 0:02:45.720 and rights organization. So what that means is we focus 0:02:45.720 --> 0:02:51.720 on changing laws UM. With that comes culture change and 0:02:52.440 --> 0:02:56.600 UMU community organizing. But it's all sort of with the 0:02:56.600 --> 0:03:00.000 the premise of trying to change laws in policies. The answer is sort of everyone. 0:04:37.560 --> 0:04:42.640 Abortion is extremely normal. Um. And I was really grateful for the 0:05:54.640 --> 0:05:56.839 men that stood by women and saying like, hey, this 0:05:56.880 --> 0:05:59.600 happened to me too. I mean, we didn't get ourselves 0:05:59.600 --> 0:06:02.719 pregnant it, you know what I mean. And a lot 0:06:02.760 --> 0:06:05.760 of times men don't include themselves in this conversation as 0:06:05.760 --> 0:06:08.039 far as the abortion experience goes, as far as the 0:06:08.040 --> 0:06:12.080 emotions that go behind the confusion, the financial worries, like 0:06:12.440 --> 0:06:15.719 it's a two part job, but only one person holds 0:06:15.760 --> 0:06:19.680 the baby. The rates of maternal mortality in 0:09:21.200 --> 0:09:26.280 the US are at astronomical. Abortion is safer than pushing 0:09:26.360 --> 0:09:29.320 it out, and for black women it's something like twelve 0:09:29.360 --> 0:09:34.600 times higher than for everyone else. I like that.
