More recently, black voters 0:13:37.320 --> 0:13:43.280 have heard that his thoughts on reparations should go to 0:13:43.400 --> 0:13:47.480 the descendants of slave owners who lost their quote property 0:13:48.320 --> 0:13:53.000 when enslaved black people were emancipated. And one thing that 0:13:53.040 --> 0:13:57.000 I came upon more recently is an interview from some 0:13:57.120 --> 0:14:02.160 years ago where he was on the air defending George 0:14:02.360 --> 0:14:06.360 Zimmerman in the killing of Trayvon Martin by saying, this 0:14:06.440 --> 0:14:08.600 is the sort of behavior that we want. You know, 0:14:08.880 --> 0:14:13.120 this guy, Larry Elder was saying, you know, there had 0:14:13.160 --> 0:14:15.559 been crime in this neighborhood and this guy was being 0:14:15.640 --> 0:14:18.800 vigilant and he was attacked by Trayvon and just kind 0:14:18.800 --> 0:14:23.800 of rewrote the story. You know, and you know that neighborhood, 0:14:24.440 --> 0:14:29.120 just because I have to say that neighborhood was a 0:14:29.120 --> 0:14:32.200 bit more affluent.
