They're gonna get to the bottom with 23 00:01:33,400 --> 00:01:35,880 Speaker 1: the dream Chance today. There's a couple of them we're 24 00:01:35,880 --> 00:01:37,360 Speaker 1: gonna get too. In case you don't know what we're 25 00:01:37,360 --> 00:01:44,360 Speaker 1: talking about, DJ the other one is a legendary rapper. 26 00:01:45,040 --> 00:01:47,640 Speaker 1: Side to the Homeboy, Swiss Beats went through a lot 27 00:01:47,680 --> 00:01:50,120 Speaker 1: of things, you know, still in the game, you know 28 00:01:50,160 --> 00:01:52,520 Speaker 1: what I mean, A lot of things that's happened that 29 00:01:52,520 --> 00:01:55,440 Speaker 1: it hasn't been answered in his career as well. But 30 00:01:55,480 --> 00:01:58,720 Speaker 1: he's also a legendary phully and he's a ball lord 31 00:01:59,600 --> 00:02:03,240 Speaker 1: lyrics to the lyricists, and he's very in tune with God. 32 00:02:03,440 --> 00:02:12,119 Speaker 1: In case you don't now, not not. The other one 33 00:02:12,320 --> 00:02:16,240 Speaker 1: is a comedic genius. I actually thought that he was 34 00:02:16,919 --> 00:02:21,640 Speaker 1: not from Africa, but Google he is from Africa, and 35 00:02:21,680 --> 00:02:24,880 Speaker 1: then he moved. People started claiming him as Haitian earlier. 36 00:02:24,880 --> 00:02:34,160 Speaker 1: I don't know what nothing's right, but I went to 37 00:02:34,160 --> 00:02:37,280 Speaker 1: watch this man, this man, and he's survived through the pandemic. Man. 38 00:02:37,320 --> 00:02:39,160 Speaker 1: A lot of people are hurting, man, A lot of people, 39 00:02:39,560 --> 00:02:40,760 Speaker 1: you know what I mean. They can't get to the 40 00:02:40,840 --> 00:02:43,120 Speaker 1: people that can't get to their fans. This man is 41 00:02:43,400 --> 00:02:46,280 Speaker 1: is a genius and and and his stand up a 42 00:02:46,280 --> 00:02:50,320 Speaker 1: genius in his Instagram a genius just overall any role 43 00:02:50,360 --> 00:02:52,440 Speaker 1: he played man you know, from having beef for Peaky 44 00:02:52,480 --> 00:02:54,040 Speaker 1: and all that, you know what I'm saying. In case 45 00:02:55,280 --> 00:03:02,679 Speaker 1: Miga black around he played with God I care. So 46 00:03:02,760 --> 00:03:07,160 Speaker 1: let's let's let's break down Philadelphia right now, only brothers Philadelphia? Right? 47 00:03:07,480 --> 00:03:11,520 Speaker 1: Philadelphia is the city of brotherly love that seemed to 48 00:03:11,520 --> 00:03:17,160 Speaker 1: not have brotherly love. Is that accurate? Yes? I mean 49 00:03:17,200 --> 00:03:20,079 Speaker 1: it's been accurate ever since, you know, I was born 50 00:03:20,080 --> 00:03:23,000 Speaker 1: and raised there. Like I don't know if it's if 51 00:03:23,040 --> 00:03:24,720 Speaker 1: it's like the gift and occurs of us having to 52 00:03:24,840 --> 00:03:27,320 Speaker 1: name the city of brotherly love. But you know, one 53 00:03:27,320 --> 00:03:29,280 Speaker 1: thing about Philly is like we we've always had so 54 00:03:29,360 --> 00:03:32,680 Speaker 1: much talent. But you know, me moving out, I guess 55 00:03:33,040 --> 00:03:34,640 Speaker 1: I was able to see. I think a lot of 56 00:03:34,680 --> 00:03:37,800 Speaker 1: it is just the facts that there's not as many 57 00:03:37,840 --> 00:03:40,040 Speaker 1: outlets is other places, you know what I'm saying. So 58 00:03:40,320 --> 00:03:42,240 Speaker 1: you know, there's been a thing through the years of 59 00:03:42,320 --> 00:03:44,320 Speaker 1: people saying like you gotta leave Philly to kind of 60 00:03:44,360 --> 00:03:46,800 Speaker 1: get on or you know, this mentality of Philly having. 61 00:03:46,800 --> 00:03:51,000 Speaker 1: It's like uh, crabbing a barrel type of which a 62 00:03:51,040 --> 00:03:54,480 Speaker 1: lot of cities l A and you live in Atlanta, Yeah, 63 00:03:54,560 --> 00:03:56,920 Speaker 1: you still live in Philly cast or you in Jersey. 64 00:03:59,320 --> 00:04:14,800 Speaker 1: Think it's gonna leave somebody's all right. I just feel 65 00:04:14,840 --> 00:04:16,840 Speaker 1: like love could grow to hate. You know what I'm saying. 66 00:04:16,839 --> 00:04:18,839 Speaker 1: When you grow up in the city from young, people 67 00:04:18,880 --> 00:04:21,080 Speaker 1: know why you used to be. They know how you 68 00:04:21,240 --> 00:04:23,440 Speaker 1: was when you was fucked up, if you used to 69 00:04:23,440 --> 00:04:25,440 Speaker 1: be a certain way, if you used to be dirty, 70 00:04:25,560 --> 00:04:28,400 Speaker 1: or if the nigga beat you up before something. They 71 00:04:28,400 --> 00:04:30,919 Speaker 1: know about your history. So when they see you accomplish 72 00:04:31,000 --> 00:04:33,520 Speaker 1: it and then you become successful, that love that they 73 00:04:33,600 --> 00:04:35,640 Speaker 1: used to have for you could It could start off 74 00:04:35,680 --> 00:04:37,960 Speaker 1: they're excited like, oh my nigga doing something, but then 75 00:04:38,000 --> 00:04:40,200 Speaker 1: they see you really winning, you running around the world, 76 00:04:40,240 --> 00:04:43,000 Speaker 1: You're getting one of bitches. Then they get mad because 77 00:04:43,040 --> 00:04:45,880 Speaker 1: they don't got no plan. Some nigga's wig plans get 78 00:04:45,880 --> 00:04:48,640 Speaker 1: inspired and encouraged. But some niggas that don't got no 79 00:04:48,680 --> 00:04:50,560 Speaker 1: plan and no, I don't know where they're gonna turn, 80 00:04:50,640 --> 00:04:52,760 Speaker 1: and they see other niggas doing that, they get discouraged. 81 00:04:52,920 --> 00:04:54,800 Speaker 1: So that's why you gotta leave your city, because when 82 00:04:54,880 --> 00:04:57,360 Speaker 1: niggas see you in different cities, they only know you 83 00:04:57,400 --> 00:04:59,640 Speaker 1: from the nigger that you is now. They don't know 84 00:04:59,680 --> 00:05:01,800 Speaker 1: your story of what you used to do. So sometimes 85 00:05:01,839 --> 00:05:03,680 Speaker 1: you'd be having a clean slate and it'd be easier 86 00:05:03,720 --> 00:05:05,919 Speaker 1: to do it like that, like you were born, like 87 00:05:05,960 --> 00:05:08,200 Speaker 1: born again. Even go back to the stories in the Bible, 88 00:05:08,360 --> 00:05:09,920 Speaker 1: Jesus had to leave where he was from to get 89 00:05:09,960 --> 00:05:13,680 Speaker 1: recognition and all that man our ancestors was telling us 90 00:05:13,680 --> 00:05:18,080 Speaker 1: about this since back in the base change Michael, I 91 00:05:18,120 --> 00:05:23,440 Speaker 1: mean that's think that's for every city. I mean, right, 92 00:05:23,839 --> 00:05:27,839 Speaker 1: Ye're not possible, but I mean I think what besides, 93 00:05:27,880 --> 00:05:29,840 Speaker 1: like you're going to like a place like New York. 94 00:05:29,839 --> 00:05:32,200 Speaker 1: New York is a great place for entertainment, Atlanta in 95 00:05:32,400 --> 00:05:35,520 Speaker 1: l A. I mean there's only three paces entertainers go to. Wow. 96 00:05:35,880 --> 00:05:38,279 Speaker 1: So you know, you know you never heard of negatives 97 00:05:38,320 --> 00:05:42,200 Speaker 1: popping and gods Jackson, Misssippi. When I fu Jackson, you 98 00:05:42,240 --> 00:05:45,200 Speaker 1: gotta get funk out of jack Every city you gotta leave, 99 00:05:45,279 --> 00:05:47,039 Speaker 1: I think the city Brother you Love. I guess it 100 00:05:47,080 --> 00:05:49,640 Speaker 1: just means, you know, I never really did a research 101 00:05:49,640 --> 00:05:51,200 Speaker 1: a WI it's called brother you Love. I know for 102 00:05:51,200 --> 00:05:53,039 Speaker 1: a fact, if I never moved to Philly, I would 103 00:05:53,040 --> 00:05:55,440 Speaker 1: not be y I am today. So all they love 104 00:05:55,520 --> 00:05:57,920 Speaker 1: the Philly. Sometimes it's all about where you're, where you're from, 105 00:05:57,960 --> 00:06:00,160 Speaker 1: that raised you, that makes you what you are. And 106 00:06:00,240 --> 00:06:02,240 Speaker 1: Phil Delpin made me the great comedian and I am 107 00:06:02,400 --> 00:06:04,960 Speaker 1: you know coming from my Africa movie. The Philly definitely 108 00:06:05,040 --> 00:06:07,840 Speaker 1: changed my life. So I do say, Cup, I got 109 00:06:07,839 --> 00:06:10,200 Speaker 1: that same story, but kind of the opposite, Like put 110 00:06:10,279 --> 00:06:12,239 Speaker 1: us on Philly is what made me like I wouldn't 111 00:06:12,240 --> 00:06:14,920 Speaker 1: be who I am for being one of raids and 112 00:06:15,000 --> 00:06:18,640 Speaker 1: growing up in Philly and having you know, the hustle's mentality, 113 00:06:18,720 --> 00:06:22,440 Speaker 1: like you know, the city, the arts that we have 114 00:06:22,520 --> 00:06:25,120 Speaker 1: coming from the city, but then coming to Atlanta and 115 00:06:25,160 --> 00:06:27,320 Speaker 1: being able to accomplish what I did. You know, it's 116 00:06:27,400 --> 00:06:28,760 Speaker 1: kind of a story of the book too. I just 117 00:06:28,800 --> 00:06:33,039 Speaker 1: kid from Philly comps and you know I asked for 118 00:06:33,120 --> 00:06:36,520 Speaker 1: one cup, that the whole cup. You know, I got 119 00:06:36,560 --> 00:06:39,599 Speaker 1: that kind of changes like you know, southern Southern rap history. 120 00:06:39,600 --> 00:06:42,279 Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. The Philly So you know, similar, 121 00:06:42,320 --> 00:06:44,200 Speaker 1: similar story, but you's in a different one. So let's 122 00:06:44,240 --> 00:06:46,080 Speaker 1: be clear, man, what's going on with you and ouzy 123 00:06:46,160 --> 00:06:50,200 Speaker 1: Bert Man? Because um it just feels it just feels like, um, y'all, 124 00:06:50,279 --> 00:06:52,280 Speaker 1: y'are not on the same level. You ain't got nothing 125 00:06:52,279 --> 00:06:55,320 Speaker 1: to do with the car in the Fullhead's definitely on 126 00:06:55,320 --> 00:06:57,200 Speaker 1: a whole another level. It's on a whole another level. 127 00:06:58,080 --> 00:07:00,560 Speaker 1: A lot of nigga. When when you saw There's twenty four, 128 00:07:01,080 --> 00:07:03,040 Speaker 1: he was like, how much of that did I make happen? 129 00:07:03,400 --> 00:07:04,920 Speaker 1: Like what? What did you say? What do you think? 130 00:07:05,160 --> 00:07:07,960 Speaker 1: I thought it was genius? So it was genius. I think, 131 00:07:08,000 --> 00:07:10,640 Speaker 1: like like who he has been doing since the beginning 132 00:07:10,640 --> 00:07:13,560 Speaker 1: of his career. It's just like you no, he's he's 133 00:07:13,560 --> 00:07:17,640 Speaker 1: a master it um of attracting attention what I'm saying, 134 00:07:17,680 --> 00:07:20,280 Speaker 1: and like, you know, I saw him saying, like you know, 135 00:07:20,320 --> 00:07:22,040 Speaker 1: when he saw the diamond, He's like, I'm a little loozy, 136 00:07:22,080 --> 00:07:23,320 Speaker 1: Like I can't just put that on my finger, I 137 00:07:23,400 --> 00:07:25,560 Speaker 1: gotta put that on my head. So and that's just 138 00:07:25,600 --> 00:07:28,200 Speaker 1: the type of that's the type of like individually he's 139 00:07:28,200 --> 00:07:30,960 Speaker 1: always been, like you know, he was he was a 140 00:07:31,040 --> 00:07:33,280 Speaker 1: rock star from the beginning. So to see where he's 141 00:07:33,280 --> 00:07:36,040 Speaker 1: at now and you know, to watch him put the 142 00:07:36,080 --> 00:07:40,000 Speaker 1: diamond in his hands right there, or maybe you ain't 143 00:07:40,080 --> 00:07:45,680 Speaker 1: exactly understanding my question he got lit and he left. 144 00:07:46,200 --> 00:07:48,240 Speaker 1: Is that? I mean, you gotta keep it real drama. 145 00:07:48,240 --> 00:07:50,280 Speaker 1: At some point, you gotta address this year. You gotta 146 00:07:50,280 --> 00:07:54,600 Speaker 1: stop being light skinned. And I've been talking about it recently, 147 00:07:54,600 --> 00:07:56,400 Speaker 1: Like you know, anything with us is that you know, 148 00:07:56,480 --> 00:07:58,960 Speaker 1: me and Cannon and Lake and you know generation now, 149 00:07:59,040 --> 00:08:01,000 Speaker 1: like when it out of it was going on, we 150 00:08:01,080 --> 00:08:04,760 Speaker 1: kind of set silent, you know, and and never really 151 00:08:04,800 --> 00:08:06,760 Speaker 1: like it was public, and you know, we didn't really 152 00:08:06,800 --> 00:08:09,600 Speaker 1: want to get in anything like a public situation. And honestly, 153 00:08:09,840 --> 00:08:14,040 Speaker 1: like you know, like to this day, I was he 154 00:08:14,160 --> 00:08:17,720 Speaker 1: wasn't absolutely like yeah, he put the tweets on everything, 155 00:08:17,760 --> 00:08:20,120 Speaker 1: so you know, and he created a certain narrative, you 156 00:08:20,120 --> 00:08:22,080 Speaker 1: know what I'm saying in a situation like that, when 157 00:08:22,400 --> 00:08:24,360 Speaker 1: you know Whosy is, you know, one of the biggest 158 00:08:24,400 --> 00:08:27,480 Speaker 1: artists in the world, Like it wasn't even a space 159 00:08:27,560 --> 00:08:29,320 Speaker 1: or a place for me to really for us to 160 00:08:29,320 --> 00:08:30,960 Speaker 1: feel like we had to defend ourselves, like we know 161 00:08:31,000 --> 00:08:33,080 Speaker 1: where we come from, we know we do good business, 162 00:08:33,120 --> 00:08:34,680 Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, And like if there's any 163 00:08:35,200 --> 00:08:38,440 Speaker 1: it's just a personal situation. I can't help that, Like, 164 00:08:38,559 --> 00:08:40,080 Speaker 1: you know, I can't help how the guy might feel 165 00:08:40,080 --> 00:08:42,040 Speaker 1: about the personally, but I know when it comes to 166 00:08:42,120 --> 00:08:45,040 Speaker 1: business or nothing. It was like they said that I 167 00:08:45,080 --> 00:08:47,040 Speaker 1: was holding his music up. Yeah, we're in the business 168 00:08:47,040 --> 00:08:50,880 Speaker 1: of putting music out, so you know, holding the music 169 00:08:51,000 --> 00:08:55,079 Speaker 1: up not help us. And know no, I always wanted that, 170 00:08:55,160 --> 00:08:57,559 Speaker 1: like cast like I always wanted that. Like sometimes when 171 00:08:57,559 --> 00:09:00,160 Speaker 1: the rumor is not true about you, right, why you 172 00:09:00,240 --> 00:09:02,960 Speaker 1: just addressed the room or just immediately, But people train 173 00:09:03,080 --> 00:09:06,240 Speaker 1: you not to, right. I don't even know what public 174 00:09:06,400 --> 00:09:10,760 Speaker 1: I mean, but but I feel like discussing it then 175 00:09:11,760 --> 00:09:14,160 Speaker 1: would it wouldn't have been in the space because again, 176 00:09:14,200 --> 00:09:16,840 Speaker 1: his successes are success. We're still in business with little 177 00:09:17,760 --> 00:09:25,439 Speaker 1: so I'm come to death. Row Records take money f 178 00:09:25,720 --> 00:09:28,520 Speaker 1: jay Z and that deal that's just happened. Man, I'm 179 00:09:28,559 --> 00:09:30,760 Speaker 1: so proud, man, I'm so proud that we could take 180 00:09:30,760 --> 00:09:33,200 Speaker 1: our culture and the people outside our culture has to 181 00:09:33,200 --> 00:09:35,800 Speaker 1: recognize and buy into our culture and be a part 182 00:09:35,800 --> 00:09:38,120 Speaker 1: of our culture. Because that's saying this for real. They 183 00:09:38,160 --> 00:09:40,400 Speaker 1: can't beat us. They got to join us. God damnage 184 00:09:40,440 --> 00:09:45,400 Speaker 1: to make a choice. But you're still getting money money 185 00:09:45,400 --> 00:09:47,720 Speaker 1: with him. But is this your first time the artist? 186 00:09:47,800 --> 00:09:53,319 Speaker 1: Was just was was you know? Um? Well, I mean 187 00:09:53,320 --> 00:09:55,959 Speaker 1: it's it's a different situation that's going to happen, because yeah, 188 00:09:56,000 --> 00:09:57,440 Speaker 1: I mean I think that happens all the time. But 189 00:09:57,520 --> 00:10:00,080 Speaker 1: you know, Susy was literally our our first artist. I 190 00:10:00,160 --> 00:10:02,600 Speaker 1: was signed to our label, So I mean we came 191 00:10:02,640 --> 00:10:04,960 Speaker 1: out of the gate like with a super win, like 192 00:10:05,000 --> 00:10:07,640 Speaker 1: you know, with success, so you know, obviously we I 193 00:10:07,640 --> 00:10:09,360 Speaker 1: would have wanted it to go a different way, you 194 00:10:09,360 --> 00:10:12,000 Speaker 1: know what I mean, like with our quote unquote first artist, 195 00:10:12,040 --> 00:10:13,480 Speaker 1: per se, you know what I'm saying, and you know, 196 00:10:13,520 --> 00:10:15,880 Speaker 1: putting a label on his back and you know, Champion 197 00:10:15,960 --> 00:10:18,000 Speaker 1: Generation now. But it didn't go that way. But it's 198 00:10:18,040 --> 00:10:21,120 Speaker 1: fine because like you know, the thing about it and 199 00:10:21,160 --> 00:10:24,280 Speaker 1: the reason I can speak positively about it is because 200 00:10:24,559 --> 00:10:27,079 Speaker 1: you know, since that situation, you know, we've went on 201 00:10:27,160 --> 00:10:30,160 Speaker 1: and created another superstar and you know what I'm saying, 202 00:10:30,200 --> 00:10:33,240 Speaker 1: like Jack Carlo and you know, put it in perspective 203 00:10:33,320 --> 00:10:35,160 Speaker 1: like you know what I mean, Like, um, I've been 204 00:10:35,200 --> 00:10:36,480 Speaker 1: here a long time, like this is what I do. 205 00:10:36,559 --> 00:10:39,160 Speaker 1: I'm cut from the close, so you know I'm gonna 206 00:10:39,200 --> 00:10:45,559 Speaker 1: keep Because you even went to a discrepancy with with 207 00:10:45,640 --> 00:10:47,920 Speaker 1: Swiss at one point. How did that start? How did 208 00:10:47,960 --> 00:10:52,560 Speaker 1: your in debt correct that? Me and Swiss never went 209 00:10:52,559 --> 00:10:56,079 Speaker 1: through a discrepancy. That's a misunderstanding that the world got. Okay, 210 00:10:56,559 --> 00:10:59,319 Speaker 1: I guess they think when people separate, you know what 211 00:10:59,360 --> 00:11:01,600 Speaker 1: I'm saying, they had to go through some misunderstanding, there's 212 00:11:01,640 --> 00:11:04,319 Speaker 1: some type of problem. But me and Swiss, we never 213 00:11:04,360 --> 00:11:08,120 Speaker 1: even argue before. We never had misunderstanding, never beat for 214 00:11:08,240 --> 00:11:11,640 Speaker 1: Swiss before. We never had no confrontations, you know what 215 00:11:11,679 --> 00:11:14,120 Speaker 1: I'm saying. So that was definitely in the public eye. 216 00:11:14,160 --> 00:11:16,959 Speaker 1: But we just, yeah, we just part of ways as businessmen. 217 00:11:17,040 --> 00:11:18,920 Speaker 1: I wanted to go in a different direction and he 218 00:11:19,040 --> 00:11:22,280 Speaker 1: was going in. We didn't agree in the direction that 219 00:11:22,320 --> 00:11:24,880 Speaker 1: we wanted to go in for my career, so we 220 00:11:25,000 --> 00:11:27,720 Speaker 1: just decided the part ways and just go in different directions. 221 00:11:27,760 --> 00:11:30,760 Speaker 1: But it's all love. It was never thinks, but I'm 222 00:11:30,760 --> 00:11:36,960 Speaker 1: gonna let you get away with it. Thought differences that's 223 00:11:37,920 --> 00:11:39,599 Speaker 1: giving in the business. I learned how you got to 224 00:11:39,640 --> 00:11:41,480 Speaker 1: separate the two when I first got in and I 225 00:11:41,559 --> 00:11:43,560 Speaker 1: was a young boy, I was seventeen, so I used 226 00:11:43,559 --> 00:11:45,719 Speaker 1: to look at it the scene. I looked at all 227 00:11:45,720 --> 00:11:47,960 Speaker 1: of the rappers that I looked up to a street niggas. 228 00:11:48,360 --> 00:11:50,000 Speaker 1: So when they were saying all of the ship that 229 00:11:50,040 --> 00:11:52,320 Speaker 1: they were saying, I believed it. So when I got 230 00:11:52,360 --> 00:11:54,720 Speaker 1: into business and niggas was calling you their brother and 231 00:11:54,760 --> 00:11:56,679 Speaker 1: saying they love you and funk with you because you 232 00:11:56,760 --> 00:11:59,040 Speaker 1: in the line, like I thought that ship was true. 233 00:11:59,440 --> 00:12:02,120 Speaker 1: I really actually believed that. I looked at it like 234 00:12:02,160 --> 00:12:03,560 Speaker 1: it was a street and they get telling me the 235 00:12:03,640 --> 00:12:06,160 Speaker 1: same ship. But I learned how the business go, and 236 00:12:06,160 --> 00:12:08,720 Speaker 1: I learned it's a complete separation from the business and 237 00:12:08,720 --> 00:12:10,440 Speaker 1: what they can say to you and sometimes and they 238 00:12:10,480 --> 00:12:12,080 Speaker 1: get to say whatever they got to say to you 239 00:12:12,120 --> 00:12:15,120 Speaker 1: to continue to do good business. So once I learned that, 240 00:12:15,160 --> 00:12:16,720 Speaker 1: I learned I had to do it was best for 241 00:12:16,760 --> 00:12:18,839 Speaker 1: me and my brand, and all of the time was 242 00:12:18,880 --> 00:12:20,960 Speaker 1: best for me and my brand on coincide with West 243 00:12:21,000 --> 00:12:23,200 Speaker 1: Westlin to do at the time, And that's the reason 244 00:12:23,240 --> 00:12:26,080 Speaker 1: why we parted up. And I ain't now Michael Black 245 00:12:26,200 --> 00:12:28,720 Speaker 1: for one time. This was one time, one time only 246 00:12:29,040 --> 00:12:32,000 Speaker 1: I thought you went too far. Okay, what did I do? Money? 247 00:12:32,559 --> 00:12:34,720 Speaker 1: First of all, this is called drip. You know what 248 00:12:34,720 --> 00:12:54,520 Speaker 1: you need to do? Get that Just the one and 249 00:12:54,559 --> 00:12:56,760 Speaker 1: the only time I felt like you went too far. 250 00:12:57,280 --> 00:13:03,440 Speaker 1: And Money's gonna do with me. I'm watching you on 251 00:13:03,480 --> 00:13:06,280 Speaker 1: the Brothers club, right, and this is with Kevin Hart. 252 00:13:06,440 --> 00:13:08,360 Speaker 1: This is the first time I felt sorry for Kevin Hard, 253 00:13:08,360 --> 00:13:09,840 Speaker 1: even though I knew he thought he's rich as rich 254 00:13:09,880 --> 00:13:13,760 Speaker 1: as ship. But then the first time, because you know, 255 00:13:13,800 --> 00:13:17,480 Speaker 1: as a married man, I know that this they could 256 00:13:17,480 --> 00:13:19,760 Speaker 1: be slip ups or something like that. I haven't had one, 257 00:13:19,960 --> 00:13:22,320 Speaker 1: but I know that it can be slip ups. I 258 00:13:22,320 --> 00:13:24,679 Speaker 1: know that none of us is perfect, right. I know that, 259 00:13:24,960 --> 00:13:27,480 Speaker 1: come on, yea, I'm walking the very thin line. Listen. 260 00:13:28,400 --> 00:13:29,800 Speaker 1: I know that none of us here put that back 261 00:13:29,800 --> 00:13:31,600 Speaker 1: in head gotta they stay with ice. So I know 262 00:13:31,640 --> 00:13:34,600 Speaker 1: that none of us is perfect. So I felt like 263 00:13:34,880 --> 00:13:38,520 Speaker 1: comedians should have gave Kevin Hart the benefit of the doubt. 264 00:13:39,200 --> 00:13:43,840 Speaker 1: Nobody gets a break by the funds like you go opportunists, motherfucker. 265 00:13:45,440 --> 00:13:48,240 Speaker 1: I know. I mean, I never made fun of keV cheating. 266 00:13:48,360 --> 00:13:51,679 Speaker 1: I made front of keV snitching on himself, like, oh, 267 00:13:52,400 --> 00:13:56,600 Speaker 1: keV when it happened, nobody knew yet, but you know, 268 00:13:56,720 --> 00:13:58,680 Speaker 1: he tried to tell us in the head in advance. 269 00:13:58,679 --> 00:14:01,520 Speaker 1: So I said, nigga, you're snitching yourself, don't. They had 270 00:14:01,559 --> 00:14:04,480 Speaker 1: to put out the tap. It hasn't put up adnut 271 00:14:04,559 --> 00:14:06,280 Speaker 1: to it before. I guess he needed tip was coming out, 272 00:14:06,280 --> 00:14:07,959 Speaker 1: so he tried to you know, tell us in advance, 273 00:14:08,000 --> 00:14:09,880 Speaker 1: and it just the way he did it, it was 274 00:14:09,880 --> 00:14:12,760 Speaker 1: funny to me, and nobody gets a break with me much. 275 00:14:13,160 --> 00:14:17,680 Speaker 1: But too soon of a joke, like like, um, I 276 00:14:17,679 --> 00:14:21,120 Speaker 1: mean if somebody dies in yet, you know, and besides that, man, 277 00:14:21,200 --> 00:14:29,440 Speaker 1: I don't so I don't the gator. That's what definite 278 00:14:29,600 --> 00:14:31,360 Speaker 1: no no, I mean with me too soon like an 279 00:14:31,400 --> 00:14:35,520 Speaker 1: hour later, MO, like what if your homie, what if 280 00:14:35,520 --> 00:14:39,280 Speaker 1: your homies on Instagram getting knocked out? This is your homie? Okay, 281 00:14:39,880 --> 00:14:42,000 Speaker 1: Um are you supposed to call him and be like, yo, 282 00:14:42,040 --> 00:14:43,720 Speaker 1: you're about to make a joke on you or you 283 00:14:43,840 --> 00:14:46,840 Speaker 1: just go in? You know what he paid? If you 284 00:14:46,840 --> 00:14:49,640 Speaker 1: guys communicate on the regular. Me and keV, yeah, we're 285 00:14:49,640 --> 00:14:51,560 Speaker 1: a cool bit. We don't like, we don't like talk 286 00:14:51,600 --> 00:14:53,640 Speaker 1: on the regular at that moment. At that point, we 287 00:14:53,640 --> 00:14:55,920 Speaker 1: wasn't talking to the regular, So I mean I probably 288 00:14:55,960 --> 00:14:57,320 Speaker 1: if I was, it was somebody I was talking to 289 00:14:57,360 --> 00:14:59,600 Speaker 1: the regular. You know, I probably did that call it 290 00:14:59,640 --> 00:15:01,600 Speaker 1: you know, my to light your ass up and be prepared. 291 00:15:02,160 --> 00:15:04,120 Speaker 1: But we don't really commedic on the regular. So I 292 00:15:04,160 --> 00:15:05,560 Speaker 1: just said, you know, I just went in and just 293 00:15:05,800 --> 00:15:07,760 Speaker 1: did Kevin call you and be like, damn, bro, I 294 00:15:08,000 --> 00:15:10,800 Speaker 1: couldn't give me the past. No, no he didn't. If 295 00:15:10,880 --> 00:15:13,080 Speaker 1: they called me, I'll probably get my pass because I 296 00:15:13,200 --> 00:15:15,800 Speaker 1: just can't have a problem with this fair game. I 297 00:15:15,800 --> 00:15:17,240 Speaker 1: didn't think he had a problem with it. I saw 298 00:15:17,280 --> 00:15:19,440 Speaker 1: it on the Breakfast Club. You know, I just thought, 299 00:15:19,440 --> 00:15:22,080 Speaker 1: he I'm just you know, I'm just being a comedian. Yea. 300 00:15:22,120 --> 00:15:24,800 Speaker 1: I saw club to you know, yeah, thought you went too. 301 00:15:27,040 --> 00:15:29,800 Speaker 1: His reaction to was like, oh sho, damn, because I thought, 302 00:15:29,920 --> 00:15:32,240 Speaker 1: you know, I think comedians is like battle rappers. Like 303 00:15:32,240 --> 00:15:35,000 Speaker 1: battle rappers have no feelings? Right or do y'all have feelings? 304 00:15:35,040 --> 00:15:37,320 Speaker 1: Like when you're going and you're spinning against each other, 305 00:15:37,360 --> 00:15:39,040 Speaker 1: like you know what I mean? Like they think about 306 00:15:39,160 --> 00:15:41,160 Speaker 1: everybody make fun of him, even it's on friends. Did 307 00:15:41,200 --> 00:15:42,960 Speaker 1: they just have a bigger platform? So when I make 308 00:15:43,000 --> 00:15:45,400 Speaker 1: fun of him, millions of people see it, and that's 309 00:15:45,400 --> 00:15:47,920 Speaker 1: probably what I really But he come on, he comedian. 310 00:15:48,040 --> 00:15:49,920 Speaker 1: He can't be sensitive and I'm not saying nothing could 311 00:15:50,000 --> 00:15:52,600 Speaker 1: hurt my feelings. I got there. I got there, So 312 00:15:52,680 --> 00:15:55,920 Speaker 1: now drama, we're gonna get into it right now. Oh, 313 00:15:58,320 --> 00:16:05,800 Speaker 1: Drake smashed your girl? Jesus, what you're the way I 314 00:16:05,760 --> 00:16:10,160 Speaker 1: supposed to saying Drake had sexual relations with the girl 315 00:16:10,240 --> 00:16:14,400 Speaker 1: that was affiliated with you. All of a sudden, Meek 316 00:16:15,280 --> 00:16:22,040 Speaker 1: Phillyli artists winds up in Mean Street studios. He hears 317 00:16:22,120 --> 00:16:26,400 Speaker 1: this reference of these other songs and scripmacys what's my 318 00:16:26,480 --> 00:16:32,920 Speaker 1: man name ain't been around since? Now? All roads lad 319 00:16:32,960 --> 00:16:36,400 Speaker 1: to DJ drama at that time, all roads they didn't 320 00:16:36,440 --> 00:16:40,160 Speaker 1: lead to meet Mills, I said, Meek Mill saying how 321 00:16:40,200 --> 00:16:42,600 Speaker 1: Meek mil got it? Roles led to that to you. 322 00:16:43,000 --> 00:16:45,040 Speaker 1: So now, for lack of a better term, he was 323 00:16:45,120 --> 00:16:47,360 Speaker 1: kind of quiet. You didn't really want to address it. 324 00:16:48,520 --> 00:16:50,880 Speaker 1: I'd lightly touched on it at time, didn't hear I 325 00:16:50,920 --> 00:16:59,560 Speaker 1: didn't come to you. You never you never never never 326 00:16:59,560 --> 00:17:02,080 Speaker 1: happened here, explain to the people. Have something like that 327 00:17:02,120 --> 00:17:04,960 Speaker 1: goes because let me just tell you something, all right, 328 00:17:05,040 --> 00:17:07,080 Speaker 1: let me let me shut up. First of all, off 329 00:17:07,160 --> 00:17:09,840 Speaker 1: top of the way, you started saying Drake smashed my girl. 330 00:17:11,320 --> 00:17:26,040 Speaker 1: My excrat me and Drake have shared women. Yea, yeah, 331 00:17:26,359 --> 00:17:29,600 Speaker 1: I mean the conversation was about a particular female at 332 00:17:29,640 --> 00:17:33,680 Speaker 1: the time. You know um is a great woman, honestly, 333 00:17:33,720 --> 00:17:36,880 Speaker 1: and you know he knew where gears prior to me. 334 00:17:37,040 --> 00:17:40,240 Speaker 1: You know, me and her um hooked up and everything. 335 00:17:40,280 --> 00:17:44,280 Speaker 1: But there's never any over she's light skin too right, 336 00:17:44,480 --> 00:17:51,640 Speaker 1: she actually is. But me and him, that was never 337 00:17:51,800 --> 00:17:55,639 Speaker 1: any discrepancy based upon like that situation had nothing to 338 00:17:55,680 --> 00:17:59,359 Speaker 1: do with what wind up happening with me, Quentin Drake. 339 00:18:00,000 --> 00:18:04,400 Speaker 1: It happened to mein Street Studios, which you mean heard 340 00:18:04,480 --> 00:18:07,160 Speaker 1: it he did, He did hit. So you can see 341 00:18:07,160 --> 00:18:11,960 Speaker 1: how one could assume what else that became because it 342 00:18:12,000 --> 00:18:14,800 Speaker 1: wasn't It wasn't overlapping situations, but that that was a 343 00:18:14,920 --> 00:18:18,199 Speaker 1: narrative that like as if I had some ill intentions. 344 00:18:18,480 --> 00:18:21,119 Speaker 1: I never had any ill intentions, you know. Honestly, like 345 00:18:22,600 --> 00:18:27,639 Speaker 1: looking back on the situation, I think all of us, 346 00:18:27,760 --> 00:18:31,040 Speaker 1: myself included, could have handled it in a different manner, 347 00:18:31,240 --> 00:18:34,240 Speaker 1: you know, I think there were all of us as individuals, 348 00:18:34,760 --> 00:18:39,680 Speaker 1: myself met Quentin Drake, you know under that it wasn't 349 00:18:39,720 --> 00:18:41,439 Speaker 1: handled properly, you know what I mean for it to 350 00:18:41,440 --> 00:18:45,880 Speaker 1: even get into that that outcome per sec you know. So, 351 00:18:46,160 --> 00:18:48,600 Speaker 1: but yeah, me didn't hear the mean street studios mean 352 00:18:48,640 --> 00:18:50,840 Speaker 1: Street studio, which is your studios, you all our studio 353 00:18:51,080 --> 00:18:53,600 Speaker 1: and we were working with Quentin Miller at the time. Yea, 354 00:18:53,760 --> 00:18:56,240 Speaker 1: and Quentin was Quentin played it for me. We didn't 355 00:18:56,280 --> 00:19:00,159 Speaker 1: hear this part of the story for me. I just 356 00:19:00,160 --> 00:19:06,880 Speaker 1: said that you got what can y. Quentin honestly took, 357 00:19:07,440 --> 00:19:09,520 Speaker 1: you know, out of everybody in this scenario, I mean, 358 00:19:09,600 --> 00:19:11,600 Speaker 1: he took the lass, he took the law. So you know, 359 00:19:11,680 --> 00:19:13,359 Speaker 1: I mean, I know he seen Meek and Draking like 360 00:19:13,400 --> 00:19:17,800 Speaker 1: what the fun y'are doing? Yeah, you know, out of everybody, 361 00:19:17,840 --> 00:19:19,480 Speaker 1: you know, he was, I mean, the kid was. The 362 00:19:19,560 --> 00:19:21,640 Speaker 1: kid was honestly, you know, trying to make a living 363 00:19:21,680 --> 00:19:24,200 Speaker 1: for himself and you know, doing dope work, and you 364 00:19:24,200 --> 00:19:26,359 Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, and and through it all, you know, 365 00:19:26,920 --> 00:19:30,520 Speaker 1: even through the narrative like I never you know, Drake's 366 00:19:30,960 --> 00:19:33,760 Speaker 1: literally you know, it's it's one in two conversations between 367 00:19:33,800 --> 00:19:36,480 Speaker 1: him and hold to me personally. So you know, even 368 00:19:36,560 --> 00:19:39,240 Speaker 1: with the Quentin Miller references, that doesn't take away from 369 00:19:39,280 --> 00:19:42,040 Speaker 1: any of his greatness per se. So, but he was 370 00:19:42,080 --> 00:19:45,360 Speaker 1: being petty at that time. I wasn't. I mean, you know, honestly, 371 00:19:45,480 --> 00:19:48,080 Speaker 1: some of the way it really happened with the man 372 00:19:48,560 --> 00:19:51,680 Speaker 1: was that I was trying to I was trying to 373 00:19:51,720 --> 00:19:54,040 Speaker 1: clarify something for me at the time, and you know, 374 00:19:54,080 --> 00:19:57,960 Speaker 1: he thought something and you know, I went against my 375 00:19:58,119 --> 00:20:03,120 Speaker 1: better judgment and by telling him something that honestly, yeah, 376 00:20:03,280 --> 00:20:06,280 Speaker 1: like explaining to him, listen, it's not what you're thinking is, 377 00:20:07,040 --> 00:20:08,960 Speaker 1: you know, and then me winning handled it the way 378 00:20:08,960 --> 00:20:13,440 Speaker 1: he chose to handle it. But that wasn't that wasn't 379 00:20:13,480 --> 00:20:15,879 Speaker 1: my handling. But I caught a lot of rap for it, 380 00:20:15,920 --> 00:20:18,080 Speaker 1: you know, And I stayed quiet because I did catch 381 00:20:18,119 --> 00:20:19,200 Speaker 1: a lot of rap for it, and I felt like 382 00:20:19,280 --> 00:20:21,240 Speaker 1: I had caught a lot of bad rap. But you know, 383 00:20:21,280 --> 00:20:23,080 Speaker 1: I definitely played a role in it, you know what 384 00:20:23,080 --> 00:20:25,480 Speaker 1: I'm saying. I'm not I'm not innocent of the situation, 385 00:20:25,520 --> 00:20:27,159 Speaker 1: but it's part of it is a petty side, like 386 00:20:27,160 --> 00:20:30,280 Speaker 1: it's cool to be petty. Honestly, if it wasn't, I 387 00:20:30,320 --> 00:20:32,280 Speaker 1: would tell you, But it really wasn't Like I never 388 00:20:32,280 --> 00:20:34,200 Speaker 1: wanted none of that to go down, you know. I mean, 389 00:20:34,320 --> 00:20:36,880 Speaker 1: in hindsight, it was an incredible battle for hip hop, 390 00:20:36,960 --> 00:20:39,480 Speaker 1: So you know, I guess, you know, and those guys 391 00:20:39,520 --> 00:20:42,960 Speaker 1: have since, you know, become friends again, and you know 392 00:20:43,000 --> 00:20:44,280 Speaker 1: what I mean, we can look at it as part 393 00:20:44,320 --> 00:20:47,320 Speaker 1: of hip hop history. But you know, so those shots 394 00:20:47,320 --> 00:20:55,760 Speaker 1: too they get these shots too. It So the famous 395 00:20:55,800 --> 00:20:59,879 Speaker 1: battle with you, Cassidy was with free Ray right, you know, 396 00:21:00,040 --> 00:21:04,240 Speaker 1: got to be it right, really great talk to that, Cassidy. 397 00:21:05,160 --> 00:21:08,240 Speaker 1: You know you have to be a writer to be 398 00:21:08,280 --> 00:21:12,600 Speaker 1: a dope MC did you said it don't matter that 399 00:21:12,720 --> 00:21:16,320 Speaker 1: he has dead with j D facts even if he don't, right, 400 00:21:16,960 --> 00:21:20,720 Speaker 1: you could be a dope rapper. I mean, I think 401 00:21:20,720 --> 00:21:23,200 Speaker 1: that's what we're talking about. Somebody who doesn't literally write raps. 402 00:21:23,240 --> 00:21:25,240 Speaker 1: But that's not a discussion when that comes to him. 403 00:21:25,280 --> 00:21:27,440 Speaker 1: I don't think the comedian be adult comedian if you 404 00:21:27,440 --> 00:21:30,639 Speaker 1: don't write no jokes, that's possible. I mean, it's a 405 00:21:30,680 --> 00:21:32,840 Speaker 1: lot of great guys out there that, if you look at, 406 00:21:32,920 --> 00:21:34,920 Speaker 1: don't write no jokes at all. I mean, you gotta 407 00:21:34,920 --> 00:21:36,480 Speaker 1: write some jokes and at the end of day, you 408 00:21:36,560 --> 00:21:38,719 Speaker 1: still have to deliver that joke. You have to make 409 00:21:38,760 --> 00:21:43,120 Speaker 1: it into your own way, you know, so you could 410 00:21:43,119 --> 00:21:45,119 Speaker 1: be I mean, I was watching one of my favorite 411 00:21:45,119 --> 00:21:47,960 Speaker 1: comedic of all time is Eddie and Uh and I 412 00:21:48,080 --> 00:21:51,119 Speaker 1: watched Brow and Deliverous and I see Kennan Ivy wayins 413 00:21:51,240 --> 00:21:54,119 Speaker 1: right and by those guys. So Eddie to me is 414 00:21:54,160 --> 00:21:57,480 Speaker 1: like great, I've seen Kenyan aber Brains and Robert down 415 00:21:57,800 --> 00:22:01,960 Speaker 1: Robert Robert Thomson. Yeah, but I thought there's like directors 416 00:22:02,080 --> 00:22:05,560 Speaker 1: directed it. I think Kenny did some writing, alright, Yeah, 417 00:22:05,560 --> 00:22:08,080 Speaker 1: I'm hard and sure, Eddie, Eddie, the way you come, 418 00:22:08,119 --> 00:22:09,560 Speaker 1: you get a certain part of your career were just 419 00:22:09,600 --> 00:22:12,359 Speaker 1: extremely busy. You gotta get you know, there's not ee 420 00:22:12,480 --> 00:22:14,280 Speaker 1: hiring writers. I mean, I'm yet to do it. I 421 00:22:14,280 --> 00:22:17,800 Speaker 1: write my own ship, you know. Um, But you know, 422 00:22:17,840 --> 00:22:20,640 Speaker 1: if I was throwing out specials every to three years, 423 00:22:20,680 --> 00:22:23,760 Speaker 1: then you gotta write because as a comedian, we don't. 424 00:22:24,000 --> 00:22:26,560 Speaker 1: You could write a material it's good for three years, 425 00:22:27,000 --> 00:22:28,920 Speaker 1: you go suck around the country for three years the 426 00:22:28,960 --> 00:22:31,680 Speaker 1: same material and then you know, every three but if 427 00:22:31,680 --> 00:22:34,439 Speaker 1: you're putting ship out every year every two years, then 428 00:22:34,480 --> 00:22:36,800 Speaker 1: you gotta gotta get some help. Let's take the shot 429 00:22:37,240 --> 00:22:40,480 Speaker 1: shot shot. What I think was some like alien type 430 00:22:40,520 --> 00:22:43,400 Speaker 1: of comedian, right, that could put in more work than 431 00:22:43,440 --> 00:22:46,000 Speaker 1: that all that work you're talking about, right, they do 432 00:22:46,119 --> 00:22:48,560 Speaker 1: more all of that ship than you're talking about. And 433 00:22:48,760 --> 00:22:51,399 Speaker 1: still writers own ship and don't need no writers. I 434 00:22:51,400 --> 00:22:55,520 Speaker 1: mean he should be he should be like he should 435 00:22:55,560 --> 00:23:02,000 Speaker 1: get some type of acknowledge definitely about Louie people's career 436 00:23:02,320 --> 00:23:04,360 Speaker 1: and we said, loui'all care come on that that makes 437 00:23:04,359 --> 00:23:10,600 Speaker 1: some No you ever got a post to write for 438 00:23:10,760 --> 00:23:12,560 Speaker 1: MC that you was like, what the fund? Really on in my career, I went 440 00:23:15,840 --> 00:23:19,440 Speaker 1: to Collie and Swiss the first time I've seen Holly 441 00:23:19,480 --> 00:23:22,600 Speaker 1: Berry two years waiting outside. Don't tell Holly berriers involved. 442 00:23:23,760 --> 00:23:25,600 Speaker 1: I've never had a holly Berry story or drink. Chaps 443 00:23:25,600 --> 00:23:31,880 Speaker 1: got damn, let's do that Hollyberry. Sure, come on, let's 444 00:23:31,880 --> 00:23:34,720 Speaker 1: do it. Did she have on cherries? Let's feel like 445 00:23:34,760 --> 00:23:37,600 Speaker 1: she just came out and cherries? Yeah, you know, I 446 00:23:37,720 --> 00:23:40,159 Speaker 1: can't now. It is always a Hollyberry fan. And when 447 00:23:40,160 --> 00:23:42,920 Speaker 1: I first see sorry, you gotta remember every moment when 448 00:23:42,920 --> 00:23:45,440 Speaker 1: you've seen Holly Berry. She was like, this is not 449 00:23:45,600 --> 00:23:49,440 Speaker 1: Keisha from Wall Bounds. This is holly Berry. Remember, come on, 450 00:23:49,560 --> 00:23:54,320 Speaker 1: I don't remember exactly. This is okay, remember what you remember? 451 00:23:54,359 --> 00:24:07,320 Speaker 1: Tell us what happened? You see holly Berry Like me 452 00:24:07,440 --> 00:24:13,159 Speaker 1: in the truck right the driver Nigger Swiss, Homy Swiss. 453 00:24:13,240 --> 00:24:15,800 Speaker 1: Like in the passenger side, I'm in the back of 454 00:24:15,840 --> 00:24:18,520 Speaker 1: the truck behind the driver and ma shan that like 455 00:24:18,640 --> 00:24:22,639 Speaker 1: in the other side, like behind Swiss, I think, and 456 00:24:23,240 --> 00:24:25,640 Speaker 1: I just remember how they burry walking pass and they 457 00:24:25,720 --> 00:24:28,440 Speaker 1: just called everybody of guards. So when Swiss looked over 458 00:24:28,520 --> 00:24:31,920 Speaker 1: and see it, he's like, what the fun? I think 459 00:24:31,920 --> 00:24:34,440 Speaker 1: he said something like what the funk? Who was that? 460 00:24:36,040 --> 00:24:38,119 Speaker 1: Something crazy like that he said in front of ma 461 00:24:38,240 --> 00:24:41,760 Speaker 1: Shan that then once he said that the driver seen that, 462 00:24:41,920 --> 00:24:44,720 Speaker 1: he just jumped out the car. He just ran upstairs 463 00:24:44,720 --> 00:24:46,520 Speaker 1: to his room to get his camera. On the way 464 00:24:46,520 --> 00:24:49,680 Speaker 1: he went, it was like a crazy situation, and I'm 465 00:24:49,720 --> 00:24:51,640 Speaker 1: just like fucked up. But I was a young boy. 466 00:24:52,160 --> 00:24:54,920 Speaker 1: I wasn't even established yet. I wasn't even dressed yet. 467 00:24:56,040 --> 00:24:58,479 Speaker 1: I wasn't even rice down. I wasn't even and I 468 00:24:58,520 --> 00:25:00,119 Speaker 1: was a young boy. I ain't wanted to meet me. 469 00:25:00,160 --> 00:25:02,520 Speaker 1: I'm like, first impression is everything. So I was looking 470 00:25:02,520 --> 00:25:06,439 Speaker 1: at it, but I didn't want to meet every monster 471 00:25:06,520 --> 00:25:09,239 Speaker 1: ball was a how you berry imbaps? What time? When 472 00:25:09,280 --> 00:25:15,240 Speaker 1: does that happen? That's when she won the glow baps 473 00:25:15,320 --> 00:25:17,200 Speaker 1: is when she was coming. I wasn't the back. It 474 00:25:17,320 --> 00:25:19,640 Speaker 1: wasn't the baps, Holly. She was like at a at 475 00:25:19,640 --> 00:25:22,479 Speaker 1: the baddest point, she looked like like had she been 476 00:25:22,480 --> 00:25:24,240 Speaker 1: looking when she had the baddest point in one of 477 00:25:24,280 --> 00:25:27,600 Speaker 1: the movies. She came out there was crazy and she 478 00:25:27,720 --> 00:25:29,880 Speaker 1: was walking and I remember she had in some pants 479 00:25:29,920 --> 00:25:32,399 Speaker 1: and she was by so To and she like walked 480 00:25:32,440 --> 00:25:34,960 Speaker 1: to the edge of the hotel and the car poured down, 481 00:25:35,000 --> 00:25:37,119 Speaker 1: and then she ran into the car and jumped in 482 00:25:37,240 --> 00:25:44,160 Speaker 1: and oh dog, some look for Hollyberry story. I wanted 483 00:25:44,520 --> 00:25:46,280 Speaker 1: every battles, I said it earlier. I think I think 484 00:25:46,280 --> 00:25:50,359 Speaker 1: you cut yourself off. Was you went freeway? Yeah? Like 485 00:25:50,480 --> 00:25:54,159 Speaker 1: what was that? What was that? Rocket? Fellow verse Rough Roders. 486 00:25:55,320 --> 00:25:58,320 Speaker 1: It was always that type of energy between them. So 487 00:25:58,520 --> 00:26:00,440 Speaker 1: one day I was in the studio with Swiss. It 488 00:26:00,520 --> 00:26:06,440 Speaker 1: wasn't Mary J. Blige song and Swiss was rapping. Swiss 489 00:26:06,560 --> 00:26:08,520 Speaker 1: did the beat and jay Z was rapping on it. 490 00:26:08,560 --> 00:26:10,280 Speaker 1: But they had did it like a minute ago. So 491 00:26:10,400 --> 00:26:12,840 Speaker 1: she wanted them to update the song, Swiss to update 492 00:26:12,880 --> 00:26:15,320 Speaker 1: the beat, jay Z to change the verse around a 493 00:26:15,359 --> 00:26:17,760 Speaker 1: little bit. So she set a possession for them to 494 00:26:17,840 --> 00:26:20,520 Speaker 1: come through and do that. Me and Swiss get there first, 495 00:26:21,119 --> 00:26:23,200 Speaker 1: and while we're in there, he fucking with the beat. 496 00:26:23,240 --> 00:26:25,960 Speaker 1: I get hungry, so I told Swiss driver to take 497 00:26:26,000 --> 00:26:28,719 Speaker 1: me to McDonald's and ship and while I'm while I'm 498 00:26:28,760 --> 00:26:32,720 Speaker 1: wanting McDonald's um the whole rocket Fellow on Hat Night seven. 499 00:26:32,720 --> 00:26:35,400 Speaker 1: It's that legendary freestyle they had when they was going 500 00:26:35,520 --> 00:26:38,080 Speaker 1: crazy on the radio. They talked about they want to 501 00:26:38,080 --> 00:26:39,919 Speaker 1: battle niggas and all that, and I felt like they 502 00:26:40,000 --> 00:26:42,840 Speaker 1: was talking about me because I was active at that time, 503 00:26:43,160 --> 00:26:45,159 Speaker 1: even though they wasn't. I just felt like they was. 504 00:26:45,680 --> 00:26:47,560 Speaker 1: And jay Z like Yo Nigga said they wanted to 505 00:26:47,600 --> 00:26:49,959 Speaker 1: call up in battle. Guess how much they said. They 506 00:26:50,000 --> 00:26:55,280 Speaker 1: wanted to bet a thousand dollars holler talking crazy the 507 00:26:55,359 --> 00:26:57,560 Speaker 1: niggas that wanted best small money and all that. So 508 00:26:57,680 --> 00:27:00,080 Speaker 1: I just feel like I just feel personal about this. 509 00:27:00,160 --> 00:27:02,000 Speaker 1: And when I get back to the front of McDonald's, 510 00:27:02,400 --> 00:27:04,600 Speaker 1: I tell Swiss about it and he like, oh, what's 511 00:27:04,600 --> 00:27:07,200 Speaker 1: school jay Z coming to the studio tonight, anyway to 512 00:27:07,240 --> 00:27:10,560 Speaker 1: redo this verse. So I started just sitting on the 513 00:27:10,600 --> 00:27:12,800 Speaker 1: couch thinking about the met jay Z for the first 514 00:27:12,800 --> 00:27:15,600 Speaker 1: time I've been was a fan. So I'm just happy 515 00:27:15,720 --> 00:27:18,160 Speaker 1: coming through. But also I'm thinking about these young boys 516 00:27:18,240 --> 00:27:21,080 Speaker 1: he got and when he comes through the studio, he'd 517 00:27:21,119 --> 00:27:23,720 Speaker 1: come by myself with no state property. You know what 518 00:27:23,760 --> 00:27:27,359 Speaker 1: I'm saying, each other's state property. I just feel like 519 00:27:27,400 --> 00:27:29,119 Speaker 1: everybody can fully know each other, like it go to 520 00:27:29,160 --> 00:27:36,439 Speaker 1: a big conversation at some point, like everybody. I was 521 00:27:36,520 --> 00:27:38,840 Speaker 1: fucked up. I thought all State property was like a team. 522 00:27:40,480 --> 00:27:42,840 Speaker 1: The all like a team. But you know, they put 523 00:27:42,840 --> 00:27:45,760 Speaker 1: them niggas together, so they barely knew each other. So 524 00:27:45,800 --> 00:27:49,080 Speaker 1: I ran into a few niggers and state property, you 525 00:27:49,119 --> 00:27:51,360 Speaker 1: know what I'm saying that Before that, Actually I ran 526 00:27:51,400 --> 00:27:53,119 Speaker 1: in the beans one time. He was gonna put me 527 00:27:53,160 --> 00:27:55,199 Speaker 1: on the record. He was a fan because I was 528 00:27:55,240 --> 00:27:57,359 Speaker 1: like running this radio show with my city and he 529 00:27:57,440 --> 00:27:59,000 Speaker 1: was a fan. So when he met me, he wanted 530 00:27:59,040 --> 00:28:01,359 Speaker 1: to put me on the record that I pissed on 531 00:28:01,440 --> 00:28:05,040 Speaker 1: your grave, I shoot on your tumb consider your doom. 532 00:28:05,080 --> 00:28:07,639 Speaker 1: But that's how I knew being So I met him 533 00:28:07,640 --> 00:28:10,280 Speaker 1: before that time. But Jeez didn't tell him it was me. 534 00:28:10,359 --> 00:28:12,479 Speaker 1: He didn't say I got the ball be from Philly 535 00:28:12,800 --> 00:28:16,040 Speaker 1: the ball, Cassidy. He just said, I got this nigger 536 00:28:16,080 --> 00:28:18,640 Speaker 1: in the studio talking crazy. I need you to come 537 00:28:18,680 --> 00:28:20,880 Speaker 1: through the studio and do this nicket dirty like that. 538 00:28:21,000 --> 00:28:23,479 Speaker 1: He didn't explain to him who it was, so they 539 00:28:23,520 --> 00:28:26,800 Speaker 1: you know it's Philly, Philly Crome. Nah, So you know 540 00:28:26,920 --> 00:28:29,360 Speaker 1: Swiss pick up the phone. He started calling Nigga's rough 541 00:28:29,440 --> 00:28:31,520 Speaker 1: riders right down the street at the other studios. So 542 00:28:31,560 --> 00:28:33,600 Speaker 1: they start showing up. That's how niggas come with the 543 00:28:33,680 --> 00:28:36,680 Speaker 1: cameras and all that. And then a little bit after that, 544 00:28:36,720 --> 00:28:39,120 Speaker 1: the door kick get kicked open, boom, and I had 545 00:28:39,200 --> 00:28:42,480 Speaker 1: it's Matt, Bitch and Mac come in the room and 546 00:28:43,440 --> 00:28:47,880 Speaker 1: Niggas is behind the most scheme, no Chris Freeway. They 547 00:28:47,880 --> 00:28:50,280 Speaker 1: are with him, and that niggas start coming in the 548 00:28:50,360 --> 00:28:53,720 Speaker 1: room and he looking around like this and be babies 549 00:28:53,840 --> 00:28:56,840 Speaker 1: beans looking around that niggas and then he see me 550 00:28:56,920 --> 00:29:00,040 Speaker 1: on the couch. He like, oh shit, be for in 551 00:29:00,160 --> 00:29:02,560 Speaker 1: Philly because he knows how I give it up. He like, 552 00:29:02,560 --> 00:29:06,239 Speaker 1: oh ship for Philly and he shake my hand and 553 00:29:06,480 --> 00:29:08,720 Speaker 1: I'm saying, that's how that ship went. And then jay 554 00:29:08,800 --> 00:29:11,840 Speaker 1: Z like, now who you say you wanted the battle? Like, man, 555 00:29:11,840 --> 00:29:14,000 Speaker 1: I ain't saying wanted the battle. None of these niggas. 556 00:29:14,040 --> 00:29:16,400 Speaker 1: I killed any of these niggas. I don't get who 557 00:29:16,480 --> 00:29:21,280 Speaker 1: you pick. Then Nigga starts saying free and free, Free 558 00:29:21,640 --> 00:29:25,880 Speaker 1: and free. That's all I remember Nigga saying free. And 559 00:29:26,240 --> 00:29:29,240 Speaker 1: now that was the afterwards, I'm like why they picked Free. 560 00:29:29,240 --> 00:29:32,280 Speaker 1: I think they's gonna pick a different nigger. You knew 561 00:29:32,360 --> 00:29:35,120 Speaker 1: him now, but I heard him like from the city. 562 00:29:35,120 --> 00:29:38,280 Speaker 1: They like state property. They was already like down with 563 00:29:38,400 --> 00:29:40,800 Speaker 1: jay Z and already putting out ships. So I heard 564 00:29:40,840 --> 00:29:43,520 Speaker 1: his music and I heard that he had that like 565 00:29:43,680 --> 00:29:46,360 Speaker 1: rod the beat type of float in the nnut rhine 566 00:29:46,440 --> 00:29:49,000 Speaker 1: pattern and the ship sound dope on beat. But in 567 00:29:49,120 --> 00:29:52,440 Speaker 1: battle rap, I know it wasn't gonna register, right, So 568 00:29:52,480 --> 00:29:54,320 Speaker 1: I don't think they should have picked them, but they did, 569 00:29:54,360 --> 00:29:57,120 Speaker 1: and that's how that ship went down. I just was 570 00:29:57,160 --> 00:29:59,560 Speaker 1: representing my team Rough Riders at the time because that's 571 00:29:59,600 --> 00:30:02,600 Speaker 1: what you was signed that brand because jay Z was 572 00:30:02,600 --> 00:30:04,840 Speaker 1: super disrespecting me, like I didn't give it up. So 573 00:30:05,600 --> 00:30:07,960 Speaker 1: that's how that's how he was already signed. This got 574 00:30:08,000 --> 00:30:10,440 Speaker 1: you sign now I was signed. I was signed to Swiss. 575 00:30:10,520 --> 00:30:12,200 Speaker 1: That's why I was in the studio with Swiss while 576 00:30:12,200 --> 00:30:16,520 Speaker 1: he was working on the Soon had a budget loop 577 00:30:18,280 --> 00:30:20,200 Speaker 1: about it, like, yeah, like you could have lost your 578 00:30:20,200 --> 00:30:22,840 Speaker 1: deal if you would have lost that, that's kind of crazy, man, 579 00:30:22,880 --> 00:30:25,120 Speaker 1: for sure. That's crazy man. Well, God bless you from 580 00:30:25,120 --> 00:30:31,120 Speaker 1: winning that one. Um you ever received slack from that 581 00:30:31,160 --> 00:30:33,440 Speaker 1: from Freeway, Like Freeway. Ever one of the part two 582 00:30:34,520 --> 00:30:36,160 Speaker 1: he ever seen you late night in South Street and 583 00:30:36,200 --> 00:30:39,760 Speaker 1: was like, what's going on? And Free We actually did 584 00:30:39,840 --> 00:30:42,880 Speaker 1: records after that. Um ran into each other a lot 585 00:30:42,920 --> 00:30:45,920 Speaker 1: of times after that, like I fun with Free. Free 586 00:30:46,000 --> 00:30:48,640 Speaker 1: was just Ryan for his team at the time. They 587 00:30:48,680 --> 00:30:50,640 Speaker 1: called out his name. They put him in a position. 588 00:30:51,160 --> 00:30:52,960 Speaker 1: They didn't know what type of the god was or 589 00:30:52,960 --> 00:30:55,440 Speaker 1: what they was dealing with. It was like a misunderstanding 590 00:30:55,480 --> 00:30:57,760 Speaker 1: that they put him in. And you know what I'm saying, 591 00:30:57,760 --> 00:31:00,160 Speaker 1: you know how that ship go. He just wasn't prepared us. 592 00:31:00,200 --> 00:31:03,520 Speaker 1: He just was on the radio giving it up, spitting 593 00:31:03,560 --> 00:31:05,680 Speaker 1: all them verses. So you know what I'm saying that 594 00:31:06,200 --> 00:31:08,120 Speaker 1: to take them right off the radio and put him 595 00:31:08,160 --> 00:31:10,440 Speaker 1: in front of a nigger like me, it wasn't a 596 00:31:10,480 --> 00:31:13,840 Speaker 1: good scenario. So Um, I've seen Free and he said, 597 00:31:13,920 --> 00:31:16,160 Speaker 1: Nigga still remind him about it to this day, like 598 00:31:16,240 --> 00:31:18,680 Speaker 1: down let it die. They keep bringing it up everywhere 599 00:31:18,720 --> 00:31:21,800 Speaker 1: he goes. He constantly hear about it. But you know, 600 00:31:21,960 --> 00:31:24,360 Speaker 1: Free of good niggas, so him whole new grudges and ship. 601 00:31:24,800 --> 00:31:26,840 Speaker 1: I actually ran in the Dame. I was working with 602 00:31:26,920 --> 00:31:29,840 Speaker 1: Dame and Dane was telling me like yo, if I 603 00:31:29,960 --> 00:31:31,760 Speaker 1: was there, you know what I'm saying, that ship would 604 00:31:31,840 --> 00:31:34,520 Speaker 1: never went down. We had budgets opened up for this nigga. 605 00:31:34,560 --> 00:31:36,520 Speaker 1: We was working on this album while put him in 606 00:31:36,560 --> 00:31:40,200 Speaker 1: the battle at that time. Man, I told that nigga, 607 00:31:40,400 --> 00:31:42,880 Speaker 1: you know want want want me before you cast I 608 00:31:42,880 --> 00:31:44,840 Speaker 1: told that nig he gotta come at you. I told 609 00:31:44,880 --> 00:31:47,200 Speaker 1: that nigga, Man fun that you go at this nigga. 610 00:31:47,240 --> 00:31:50,600 Speaker 1: Now you gotta and free, ain't I mean I ain't 611 00:31:50,600 --> 00:31:52,320 Speaker 1: never had free do it, So I guess free and 612 00:31:52,400 --> 00:31:54,080 Speaker 1: want to do it like. That's the reason why we 613 00:31:54,120 --> 00:31:57,000 Speaker 1: stopped working with him. The same way. So the same 614 00:31:57,000 --> 00:31:58,600 Speaker 1: way you said I could have get you, I could 615 00:31:58,640 --> 00:32:01,200 Speaker 1: have got drunk. It affected a lot of ship that 616 00:32:01,200 --> 00:32:03,560 Speaker 1: could have happened in freeway career. But that's how badder 617 00:32:03,600 --> 00:32:05,040 Speaker 1: Rap used to be back in the day that she 618 00:32:05,120 --> 00:32:08,280 Speaker 1: used to be real. It's comedy like that. You guys 619 00:32:08,400 --> 00:32:13,280 Speaker 1: like have a comedy off to the backstage, you remember, 620 00:32:13,560 --> 00:32:17,480 Speaker 1: you know, um Philly, I mean, of course me cav. 621 00:32:18,160 --> 00:32:20,840 Speaker 1: I mean whenever comedics get together, man, just be ready 622 00:32:21,160 --> 00:32:23,400 Speaker 1: because you don't know who's gonna go at who just start. 623 00:32:23,480 --> 00:32:25,280 Speaker 1: Just just pick a nigger and just go on him. 624 00:32:25,520 --> 00:32:27,800 Speaker 1: Because now you might be the negative won pick you 625 00:32:27,840 --> 00:32:29,680 Speaker 1: know what I mean. So it's like that, but it 626 00:32:29,720 --> 00:32:32,400 Speaker 1: ain't nothing. I mean, that was probably the social media 627 00:32:32,440 --> 00:32:38,760 Speaker 1: way she like for wookies like rookies and like each other, 628 00:32:38,880 --> 00:32:42,000 Speaker 1: you know, like I mean, Philly was not a really 629 00:32:42,400 --> 00:32:44,560 Speaker 1: a big platform for comedy, so a lot of us 630 00:32:44,560 --> 00:32:46,200 Speaker 1: took a lot of trips to New York. So you know, 631 00:32:46,240 --> 00:32:49,480 Speaker 1: so we'll go then we'll you know, comics. We just 632 00:32:49,680 --> 00:32:51,640 Speaker 1: we see each other. We just talk roasting. I mean 633 00:32:51,680 --> 00:32:53,600 Speaker 1: back in the day with comedians like talent and like 634 00:32:53,720 --> 00:32:57,120 Speaker 1: Rob Staple team, you know, can we all get together 635 00:32:57,200 --> 00:32:59,280 Speaker 1: and we just just like starting each other up to 636 00:32:59,360 --> 00:33:01,960 Speaker 1: just be ready because you never know. But it wasn't 637 00:33:01,960 --> 00:33:04,040 Speaker 1: nothing that's gonna up your career, not like these guys 638 00:33:04,080 --> 00:33:07,160 Speaker 1: you know, rap your stage, you get blud on stage. 639 00:33:07,760 --> 00:33:10,720 Speaker 1: Jokes about me and during the Drake Show, yeah, I 640 00:33:10,840 --> 00:33:13,600 Speaker 1: get everybody man, nobody. Most of the joke about meet 641 00:33:13,640 --> 00:33:17,080 Speaker 1: with Meek in the picture drinking. Yeah that did something 642 00:33:17,080 --> 00:33:21,200 Speaker 1: like real ship. Some ship is the first time. I mean, yes, 643 00:33:21,280 --> 00:33:24,680 Speaker 1: you know what I looked at. No, not that one 644 00:33:24,760 --> 00:33:28,680 Speaker 1: was a big mistake. My ex that was my ex, No, no, no, 645 00:33:28,800 --> 00:33:31,640 Speaker 1: And I never talked about it because I never want 646 00:33:31,640 --> 00:33:34,240 Speaker 1: to blame blame blanishing on my girl at that time, 647 00:33:34,800 --> 00:33:37,520 Speaker 1: you know, but it was my ex did that dumb 648 00:33:37,520 --> 00:33:39,160 Speaker 1: ship at that time, like Meek at the end of 649 00:33:39,160 --> 00:33:41,640 Speaker 1: the end, hold me and I knew what he was 650 00:33:41,640 --> 00:33:44,040 Speaker 1: going through. And I mean, I mean, I'll do certain jokes, 651 00:33:44,040 --> 00:33:46,240 Speaker 1: but no, I'm the type will do a joke, but 652 00:33:46,320 --> 00:33:48,320 Speaker 1: not a joke that I want to shoot you over. 653 00:33:48,840 --> 00:33:50,640 Speaker 1: I'll do a joke out. I'm if my goal is 654 00:33:50,920 --> 00:33:52,640 Speaker 1: if I climbed somebody, my goal is to make that 655 00:33:52,720 --> 00:33:56,280 Speaker 1: person laugh. I'm 658 00:34:00,920 --> 00:34:02,520 Speaker 1: not gonna you know what I mean, make im want 659 00:34:02,560 --> 00:34:05,040 Speaker 1: to go and try to cancel. Michael Blackson, I mean 660 00:34:05,320 --> 00:34:07,760 Speaker 1: did about me and that movie we did Coney Montana. 661 00:34:07,960 --> 00:34:10,080 Speaker 1: That's what we've seen you did with the cops about 662 00:34:10,120 --> 00:34:17,040 Speaker 1: me and all that you did. I'll watch you, man, 663 00:34:17,880 --> 00:34:20,799 Speaker 1: So let me tell this story, right were um, so 664 00:34:20,840 --> 00:34:24,200 Speaker 1: we just we did a benefit me Meek, we did 665 00:34:24,200 --> 00:34:26,920 Speaker 1: a benefit and then why was I took a picture together? 666 00:34:27,120 --> 00:34:29,520 Speaker 1: So why I was going home I'm driving. I told 667 00:34:29,520 --> 00:34:31,200 Speaker 1: my grad. I said, there's a picture, to put this 668 00:34:31,239 --> 00:34:34,400 Speaker 1: caption on this picture. I said, put on damn my 669 00:34:34,400 --> 00:34:37,480 Speaker 1: fun guy exactly. But the caption I said, it was 670 00:34:37,560 --> 00:34:45,200 Speaker 1: something like, um me, uh, Nikki's boyfriend something something light. 671 00:34:45,480 --> 00:34:47,480 Speaker 1: Nothing's crazy, like I don't call him me. I won't 672 00:34:47,560 --> 00:34:50,600 Speaker 1: come like Nikki's boyfriend or something. Right, I said, put 673 00:34:50,600 --> 00:34:52,799 Speaker 1: that and put that in the caption this I think 674 00:34:52,800 --> 00:34:55,120 Speaker 1: you said, we're all told girl to or something like that. No, no, 675 00:34:55,200 --> 00:34:57,719 Speaker 1: it was not this. Not my grad at that time 676 00:34:57,840 --> 00:34:59,840 Speaker 1: was a savage. You know what I mean. This is 677 00:35:00,000 --> 00:35:02,520 Speaker 1: all writers. You sing a songwriter. This chick was a 678 00:35:02,520 --> 00:35:04,920 Speaker 1: real savage and for some reason, she never, for some 679 00:35:04,960 --> 00:35:07,560 Speaker 1: reason ever like me. I don't know why, but she 680 00:35:07,600 --> 00:35:09,560 Speaker 1: wrote the most savage thing on there, and I had 681 00:35:09,600 --> 00:35:12,760 Speaker 1: no clue. I'm driving right next thing. No, I'm getting 682 00:35:12,800 --> 00:35:15,560 Speaker 1: text from like mixed goons like yea, what the fund 683 00:35:15,640 --> 00:35:17,640 Speaker 1: is that about? I'm know what you're talking about. I looked, 684 00:35:17,640 --> 00:35:21,160 Speaker 1: I'm bitch with your post. She went't real hard, so 685 00:35:21,239 --> 00:35:23,600 Speaker 1: you know what I mean, And we had to squash 686 00:35:23,640 --> 00:35:25,560 Speaker 1: all that. But yeah, but that that one didn't come 687 00:35:25,560 --> 00:35:27,399 Speaker 1: from me, like I said, I'll go hard but I'll 688 00:35:27,400 --> 00:35:30,480 Speaker 1: go hard enough with not hard enough. I'll go hard 689 00:35:30,520 --> 00:35:33,040 Speaker 1: that the person I joked about laugh and then if 690 00:35:33,040 --> 00:35:35,000 Speaker 1: me get laugh at what I'm saying about him, then 691 00:35:35,040 --> 00:35:38,400 Speaker 1: I'm not gonna do it. Especially if it's my homie, Well, 692 00:35:38,440 --> 00:35:42,280 Speaker 1: I'll dropma. I was just hanging out with Gilly. Gilly 693 00:35:42,360 --> 00:35:48,160 Speaker 1: said it was a tub well, cash money. You know 694 00:35:48,160 --> 00:35:51,440 Speaker 1: what I'm going I'll give you the tough questions where 695 00:35:51,600 --> 00:35:53,960 Speaker 1: I'm getting easy. It's not even it's not gonna be 696 00:35:53,960 --> 00:35:59,359 Speaker 1: put it in to Gilles. This is the first time 697 00:35:59,840 --> 00:36:01,800 Speaker 1: I said God, I said, listen, Jilly, I'm gonna be honest. 698 00:36:01,840 --> 00:36:05,520 Speaker 1: I never thought I don't need cash. Monday's black I 699 00:36:05,640 --> 00:36:08,600 Speaker 1: never thought that was remotely true. He said it on 700 00:36:08,640 --> 00:36:10,400 Speaker 1: the show that they were black balling. Yeah. I told him, 701 00:36:10,520 --> 00:36:13,520 Speaker 1: you believe it in the show and he said, you guys, 702 00:36:13,680 --> 00:36:17,600 Speaker 1: d J Drama. DJ Drama just did my show. He said, 703 00:36:17,960 --> 00:36:21,440 Speaker 1: we actually induced uh something. You said, Yo, you know what. 704 00:36:21,520 --> 00:36:23,840 Speaker 1: I'm stand by it. But he said that Wayne called 705 00:36:23,880 --> 00:36:27,359 Speaker 1: you and said you can leave him on there, leave 706 00:36:27,440 --> 00:36:29,680 Speaker 1: him on the show. But just no, you'll never have 707 00:36:29,760 --> 00:36:32,239 Speaker 1: another Wayne versus ev in your life. You know, I 708 00:36:32,280 --> 00:36:35,160 Speaker 1: love you nor but I respect I just had his 709 00:36:35,239 --> 00:36:39,160 Speaker 1: convo with Gilly. You know, it's like it's like a 710 00:36:39,200 --> 00:36:41,600 Speaker 1: mix tape, so that's exclusive, but you can't give you 711 00:36:41,680 --> 00:36:54,440 Speaker 1: exclusive twice. I gotta that is crazy though, So I 712 00:36:54,520 --> 00:37:00,520 Speaker 1: actually existed, but I can't call that black ball. Yeah, 713 00:37:00,560 --> 00:37:03,760 Speaker 1: that's a form of black If I called with the label, 714 00:37:04,880 --> 00:37:07,480 Speaker 1: if I called with the management, if I caught with 715 00:37:07,520 --> 00:37:10,759 Speaker 1: the higher ups, that could just be an artist be 716 00:37:10,880 --> 00:37:14,560 Speaker 1: insensitive but sensitive mother flippers facts. It could be just 717 00:37:14,600 --> 00:37:17,000 Speaker 1: be an artist sensitive. That artist might not necessarily have 718 00:37:17,040 --> 00:37:19,120 Speaker 1: that power. That was the one on one conversation. I 719 00:37:19,160 --> 00:37:22,879 Speaker 1: will say that, So it wasn't it. You know, Gilly 720 00:37:23,280 --> 00:37:26,560 Speaker 1: has his own take on black ball. I was not 721 00:37:26,719 --> 00:37:30,160 Speaker 1: part of the black ball per se. Yeah, and Wayne talked, 722 00:37:31,280 --> 00:37:40,239 Speaker 1: let's you'll be black ball and black ball where you 723 00:37:40,400 --> 00:37:42,960 Speaker 1: got everybody black ball niggas That down't like it's just 724 00:37:43,040 --> 00:37:46,880 Speaker 1: all about the policies. What do you think black that 725 00:37:47,080 --> 00:37:49,040 Speaker 1: you're willing to use it on, Like how much you 726 00:37:49,160 --> 00:37:51,400 Speaker 1: don't funk with that nigga, how much you're getting on 727 00:37:51,520 --> 00:37:53,880 Speaker 1: your nerves, and how much you're willing to move forward 728 00:37:53,960 --> 00:37:56,400 Speaker 1: with it and deal with it. But everybody black ball 729 00:37:56,520 --> 00:38:04,399 Speaker 1: nigga drama drama, drama, fucking with this artist. I don't 730 00:38:04,440 --> 00:38:06,080 Speaker 1: focus this artist. I tell the drum, I don't want 731 00:38:06,080 --> 00:38:07,439 Speaker 1: to be on that side of the tape. I don't 732 00:38:07,440 --> 00:38:11,520 Speaker 1: look at that as black ball. Yeah, I don't necessarily 733 00:38:12,000 --> 00:38:14,320 Speaker 1: look at that as black ball. But now if I 734 00:38:14,400 --> 00:38:18,160 Speaker 1: say I'm never giving you nothing ever again, say I 735 00:38:18,200 --> 00:38:19,840 Speaker 1: can say skip that tape and cast me on the 736 00:38:19,960 --> 00:38:22,719 Speaker 1: next tape. As simple as this, man, if you more 737 00:38:22,840 --> 00:38:25,839 Speaker 1: powerful than whoever you said, you ain't knowing that tape. 738 00:38:25,880 --> 00:38:27,520 Speaker 1: But if he put this nigga on there, and you 739 00:38:27,680 --> 00:38:30,319 Speaker 1: got more leverage, more fan base, and more control over 740 00:38:30,400 --> 00:38:33,000 Speaker 1: what's going on, and you say that, then you're black 741 00:38:33,080 --> 00:38:35,680 Speaker 1: balling that nigga. Now, if he's just as powerful or 742 00:38:35,719 --> 00:38:37,680 Speaker 1: more powerful than you when you say that, then you 743 00:38:37,800 --> 00:38:40,280 Speaker 1: can't do it. And nigga gonna be like, he's probably 744 00:38:40,320 --> 00:38:42,640 Speaker 1: going side with that nigga more than you. You're gonna 745 00:38:42,640 --> 00:38:44,600 Speaker 1: have to fight and yell and scream and it still 746 00:38:44,680 --> 00:38:46,640 Speaker 1: might not get done. If the nigga more powerful than you, 747 00:38:46,960 --> 00:38:49,040 Speaker 1: So you can't black baller nigga that got just as 748 00:38:49,120 --> 00:38:51,600 Speaker 1: much leverage and more powerful than you. But a little 749 00:38:51,719 --> 00:38:54,319 Speaker 1: nigga and you got all this leverage and niggas. They 750 00:38:54,400 --> 00:38:58,000 Speaker 1: might not even they might not even doing business with you. 751 00:38:58,280 --> 00:39:02,879 Speaker 1: They might just think in the future, the little Nile 752 00:39:02,960 --> 00:39:05,279 Speaker 1: Violet with the little nigga actually did do something. Now 753 00:39:05,880 --> 00:39:07,719 Speaker 1: do the didn't do something? And I say, I ain't 754 00:39:07,760 --> 00:39:09,839 Speaker 1: working with that tape. If he's on there, then I'm wrong. 755 00:39:09,920 --> 00:39:12,080 Speaker 1: Actually that is called volt and that is called hat. 756 00:39:12,280 --> 00:39:14,359 Speaker 1: But what if the dude actually did something? And then 757 00:39:14,440 --> 00:39:16,840 Speaker 1: Drama calls me and says, Yo yo, Nor, I know 758 00:39:17,200 --> 00:39:19,520 Speaker 1: um you and your arms light is going through it. 759 00:39:19,800 --> 00:39:21,240 Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. I say it we Drama. 760 00:39:21,239 --> 00:39:22,920 Speaker 1: You know that between me and him. You know what 761 00:39:22,920 --> 00:39:25,439 Speaker 1: I'm saying. I ain't gonna work with that now. Drama says, 762 00:39:25,640 --> 00:39:28,239 Speaker 1: That's what I'm driving to say. You know what, this 763 00:39:28,400 --> 00:39:32,080 Speaker 1: might affect me in Norm's relationship moving forward. Nor's not hating, 764 00:39:32,920 --> 00:39:36,120 Speaker 1: but I'll tell you like this, Like I said, one time, 765 00:39:36,200 --> 00:39:41,000 Speaker 1: I had somebody, uh Foxy Brown had this Puff on 766 00:39:41,160 --> 00:39:43,640 Speaker 1: my record. So I went to see Puff because I 767 00:39:43,760 --> 00:39:46,560 Speaker 1: wanted to keep my relationship, and Puff screamed on me 768 00:39:46,640 --> 00:39:50,279 Speaker 1: like what the fund is Rum? But I'm like, told 769 00:39:50,440 --> 00:39:52,200 Speaker 1: us I could say the word I thought, so I said, 770 00:39:52,239 --> 00:39:53,640 Speaker 1: all right, cool, So I'm not supposed to put out 771 00:39:53,640 --> 00:39:55,600 Speaker 1: the record. He said, no, I get money, nigga, And 772 00:39:55,680 --> 00:39:59,200 Speaker 1: I said, oh ship. He expressed his opinion, but he 773 00:39:59,280 --> 00:40:03,200 Speaker 1: didn't let it get the way of business. Holy. Holy, 774 00:40:05,320 --> 00:40:09,200 Speaker 1: That wasn't a hater. That wasn't that he expressed to me. 775 00:40:09,600 --> 00:40:12,080 Speaker 1: I didn't like that. I didn't appreciate you let somebody 776 00:40:12,120 --> 00:40:14,280 Speaker 1: dissing me on your record. But at the same token, 777 00:40:14,520 --> 00:40:17,479 Speaker 1: she is a great recommend But you also knew, you knew, 778 00:40:17,680 --> 00:40:19,560 Speaker 1: you know what that was about, because you know what 779 00:40:19,960 --> 00:40:22,000 Speaker 1: the man told me that to my face. You also 780 00:40:22,040 --> 00:40:24,080 Speaker 1: said yourself, you had to you had to talk to 781 00:40:24,160 --> 00:40:27,279 Speaker 1: Foxy about going back in, and like, do you know 782 00:40:27,400 --> 00:40:30,239 Speaker 1: she did down her home. She actually dumbed down her 783 00:40:30,320 --> 00:40:31,840 Speaker 1: verse on her own. You was there, right, and I 784 00:40:31,920 --> 00:40:34,680 Speaker 1: believe she her first couple of verses was even worse. 785 00:40:35,200 --> 00:40:37,720 Speaker 1: So I appreciate it. We do that with everybody concern 786 00:40:37,840 --> 00:40:40,040 Speaker 1: and Fox Me every situation that fox Me is. He might have said get money, but that 793 00:40:55,960 --> 00:40:57,319 Speaker 1: might have been a trap for me to be like, yo, 794 00:40:57,440 --> 00:40:59,200 Speaker 1: I ain't never going to funk with him again because 795 00:40:59,239 --> 00:41:01,319 Speaker 1: I know he'll know I'm saying so. But I felt 796 00:41:01,320 --> 00:41:02,759 Speaker 1: like a man about it. Like I felt like a 797 00:41:02,840 --> 00:41:04,600 Speaker 1: man when I stepped to him. Okay, 859 00:44:13,040 --> 00:44:15,680 Speaker 1: it was a time, you know, I thought DJ Clue 860 00:44:15,840 --> 00:44:21,040 Speaker 1: was getting and then case Slay and Envy, but they 861 00:44:21,200 --> 00:44:24,160 Speaker 1: never quite had what you had. Like, I didn't realize 862 00:44:24,160 --> 00:44:27,239 Speaker 1: how much against the grill mans. Let me let me 863 00:44:27,280 --> 00:44:29,320 Speaker 1: take it from there. Okay, you take it from there. Okay, 864 00:44:29,560 --> 00:44:31,520 Speaker 1: I didn't know how much against the grill meant cause 865 00:44:31,520 --> 00:44:42,400 Speaker 1: I never had one slight shot. Slight shots hung up. 866 00:44:47,719 --> 00:44:51,680 Speaker 1: You don't want to say I'm sad that So at 867 00:44:51,760 --> 00:44:54,480 Speaker 1: one point you it was like, whoa, that's okay, that's 868 00:44:59,120 --> 00:45:01,320 Speaker 1: how How did it feel? Because I mean it's a 869 00:45:01,640 --> 00:45:04,920 Speaker 1: I'm gonna keep it the one part question, how did 870 00:45:04,960 --> 00:45:07,239 Speaker 1: it feel to just control the game and not only 871 00:45:07,280 --> 00:45:11,640 Speaker 1: control the game, but there's people from New York, Yeah, yeah, yeah, 872 00:45:11,640 --> 00:45:15,279 Speaker 1: there's people in New York their first time hearing jeez it, Stu, 873 00:45:15,520 --> 00:45:19,520 Speaker 1: you that first time hearing t I. It's do you 874 00:45:20,360 --> 00:45:23,760 Speaker 1: that first time getting acquainted with jeezy man, it's still 875 00:45:23,840 --> 00:45:27,440 Speaker 1: you and your work. How crazy was the games? I mean, 876 00:45:27,640 --> 00:45:29,200 Speaker 1: just to put in a perspective and how did you 877 00:45:29,280 --> 00:45:33,120 Speaker 1: come up with it? Originally? Like that concept it was 878 00:45:33,200 --> 00:45:34,719 Speaker 1: John just screaming to your Mike. He was like, let's 879 00:45:34,760 --> 00:45:37,839 Speaker 1: go simply. I mean even before that, you know again, 880 00:45:37,920 --> 00:45:40,759 Speaker 1: like I think to put in a perspective like I'm 881 00:45:41,040 --> 00:45:43,400 Speaker 1: I'm a nigger from Philly who who came up on 882 00:45:44,200 --> 00:45:49,520 Speaker 1: S and S RONJ and do clueing dji now saying 883 00:45:49,560 --> 00:45:52,960 Speaker 1: like back of his hands, jumping up of my early influences. 884 00:45:53,000 --> 00:45:54,600 Speaker 1: So when I when I got to Atlanta, not when 885 00:45:54,600 --> 00:45:57,040 Speaker 1: I got to Atlanta, but after I was in Atlanta 886 00:45:57,080 --> 00:46:00,520 Speaker 1: for some years and I was you know, I used to, um, 887 00:46:00,719 --> 00:46:02,839 Speaker 1: what were the Atlanta guys doing the mix tapes out there? 888 00:46:02,840 --> 00:46:04,759 Speaker 1: And there was Jelly, it was DJ Jelly, it was 889 00:46:05,360 --> 00:46:09,840 Speaker 1: Marte Um, it was Mars doing Yeah, Mars was doing tapes. 890 00:46:10,080 --> 00:46:15,719 Speaker 1: Um Uh. Edward j he was the you know, he 891 00:46:16,000 --> 00:46:18,040 Speaker 1: he's like the o G the LEGIOND in Atlanta per se. 892 00:46:18,280 --> 00:46:20,600 Speaker 1: So when I when I got there, like Big Jelly 893 00:46:20,640 --> 00:46:24,360 Speaker 1: and Mante was killing ship and the style that I 894 00:46:24,520 --> 00:46:27,440 Speaker 1: was really using to make Gangster Girls because basically, I 895 00:46:27,480 --> 00:46:29,920 Speaker 1: mean I was. I used to sell the CDs myself, 896 00:46:30,719 --> 00:46:34,080 Speaker 1: so I'd have up North tape. I had like an 897 00:46:34,120 --> 00:46:36,400 Speaker 1: eclectic R and B tape. I had a reggae mix tape. 898 00:46:36,440 --> 00:46:41,640 Speaker 1: I had anything you needed. I had this this thing 899 00:46:41,800 --> 00:46:44,160 Speaker 1: is that known me from just doing reggae parties back 900 00:46:44,160 --> 00:46:46,000 Speaker 1: in the day. Like so we used to do reggae 901 00:46:46,040 --> 00:46:49,840 Speaker 1: parties too, Sonig is doing reggae parties. Let me do 902 00:46:51,480 --> 00:46:58,319 Speaker 1: Let's make the noise for that man. My man lady 903 00:46:58,360 --> 00:47:05,600 Speaker 1: says it is. DJs looked the same. So Gangster Girls 904 00:47:05,640 --> 00:47:07,840 Speaker 1: as as a concept was like you know, it was 905 00:47:07,880 --> 00:47:09,840 Speaker 1: just it was a South CD that I you know 906 00:47:09,880 --> 00:47:12,200 Speaker 1: what I mean. I needed to have something for everybody. 907 00:47:12,800 --> 00:47:15,160 Speaker 1: As I was paying attention to the mixtape game in 908 00:47:15,239 --> 00:47:18,040 Speaker 1: the direction that it was going in, my influences was 909 00:47:18,120 --> 00:47:20,480 Speaker 1: coming pretty much from what was happening up top, you 910 00:47:20,520 --> 00:47:23,359 Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. So and people weren't applying South 911 00:47:23,520 --> 00:47:25,719 Speaker 1: music to that formula. And niggas told me, that's not 912 00:47:25,760 --> 00:47:27,399 Speaker 1: when niggas on the South want to hear. I didn't 913 00:47:27,400 --> 00:47:29,160 Speaker 1: want to hear talking on the tape. They don't want 914 00:47:29,160 --> 00:47:31,160 Speaker 1: to hear exclusives. They don't want to hear new ship 915 00:47:31,239 --> 00:47:33,320 Speaker 1: and everything. And I went totally against the grain and 916 00:47:33,400 --> 00:47:35,719 Speaker 1: did all that that they said niggas didn't want to hear. 917 00:47:35,719 --> 00:47:38,239 Speaker 1: And that's how Gangster Girls was pretty much creative. Little 918 00:47:38,320 --> 00:47:40,160 Speaker 1: John being the voice was the first host because I 919 00:47:40,200 --> 00:47:42,120 Speaker 1: was paying attention to people doing host and what what 920 00:47:42,239 --> 00:47:45,560 Speaker 1: have you. So around the time when you know a 921 00:47:45,640 --> 00:47:50,000 Speaker 1: link with Tip and you know t I, you know, 922 00:47:50,640 --> 00:47:53,560 Speaker 1: literally he's the first. You know, Gangster Girls became a 923 00:47:53,640 --> 00:47:57,279 Speaker 1: street album because of TI I us linking up and 924 00:47:57,480 --> 00:48:01,400 Speaker 1: you know that being the first body Troc it was 925 00:48:01,440 --> 00:48:04,319 Speaker 1: talking that they want for the first time, I met 926 00:48:04,360 --> 00:48:05,600 Speaker 1: name and told me he was the king of the South. 927 00:48:06,040 --> 00:48:08,200 Speaker 1: They want you know what I'm saying, Blessing, he knew 928 00:48:08,520 --> 00:48:10,520 Speaker 1: what you said there is what made Gangster Girls different. 929 00:48:10,560 --> 00:48:14,480 Speaker 1: They became street albums that changed mixtape game right there. 930 00:48:14,560 --> 00:48:17,040 Speaker 1: I think it did that. And you know, I'm I'm 931 00:48:17,120 --> 00:48:22,080 Speaker 1: from the Gangster Grills. Is the the post fifty and 932 00:48:22,520 --> 00:48:25,840 Speaker 1: dip set per se. So I was I was following 933 00:48:25,920 --> 00:48:28,200 Speaker 1: that formula that sets you know what I mean. And 934 00:48:28,560 --> 00:48:32,480 Speaker 1: you know, like with all due respect to all the 935 00:48:32,600 --> 00:48:35,520 Speaker 1: legends that you name. I think when it's when it's 936 00:48:35,520 --> 00:48:38,719 Speaker 1: all said and done, there can be conversations about who 937 00:48:38,880 --> 00:48:42,960 Speaker 1: the best mixtape DJ of all time is. I'm still 938 00:48:43,040 --> 00:48:49,200 Speaker 1: probably that guy, but that could be argued people. You know, 939 00:48:49,320 --> 00:48:51,719 Speaker 1: I know New York City, like y'all is gonna argue 940 00:48:51,719 --> 00:48:53,080 Speaker 1: that to the to the death. And I get that. 941 00:48:53,200 --> 00:48:55,560 Speaker 1: You know, my fans are gonna argue it, and that's fine. 942 00:48:55,840 --> 00:48:58,839 Speaker 1: We can. I'm open to the conversation. And you said, 943 00:49:00,200 --> 00:49:02,839 Speaker 1: that's that's next take DJ of all time. I ain't 944 00:49:02,840 --> 00:49:06,839 Speaker 1: gonna lie. According to the FED, you are fairly DJ. 945 00:49:07,040 --> 00:49:09,239 Speaker 1: And the way I was terrorized in the city, man, 946 00:49:09,640 --> 00:49:13,080 Speaker 1: we mean like Gangster Grills, though beyond that is the 947 00:49:13,800 --> 00:49:18,960 Speaker 1: most important and impactful mixtape series of all time. That 948 00:49:19,040 --> 00:49:21,960 Speaker 1: can't be argument That can't be arguing, and you can't 949 00:49:22,000 --> 00:49:25,080 Speaker 1: tell me. I think it's the biggest, it's the most important. 950 00:49:26,440 --> 00:49:29,080 Speaker 1: I don't think I'm gonna argue that, especially for breaking 951 00:49:29,120 --> 00:49:32,319 Speaker 1: the artist even before that, and then it became because 952 00:49:32,360 --> 00:49:36,000 Speaker 1: even the artists, Yeah, I mean, people was doubling back 953 00:49:36,040 --> 00:49:37,759 Speaker 1: and coming back around, and I was doing them with 954 00:49:37,840 --> 00:49:40,480 Speaker 1: some of the biggest names in the game, Like I mean, 955 00:49:40,960 --> 00:49:43,960 Speaker 1: don't you got for real? Do I've won for real. 956 00:49:44,800 --> 00:49:51,440 Speaker 1: It's crazy, but that is that is so because I 957 00:49:51,480 --> 00:49:53,960 Speaker 1: don't want to struggle back to this, So let's just 958 00:49:54,040 --> 00:49:58,400 Speaker 1: get it all out. What was you think? Let's just 959 00:49:58,440 --> 00:50:02,520 Speaker 1: be clear. Did you think the label snitch sting you? No, 960 00:50:02,640 --> 00:50:04,560 Speaker 1: I don't think the labels snitched on but the labels 961 00:50:04,800 --> 00:50:08,560 Speaker 1: still label money. I respect that the rs used to 962 00:50:08,680 --> 00:50:10,640 Speaker 1: lead us the records, but the higher ups and the 963 00:50:10,719 --> 00:50:13,520 Speaker 1: lawyers used to send the season to see. He's right 964 00:50:13,520 --> 00:50:15,640 Speaker 1: about that. They definitely did that. I mean I think 965 00:50:15,680 --> 00:50:18,160 Speaker 1: it was. I think the labels weren't all on the 966 00:50:18,239 --> 00:50:21,279 Speaker 1: same page. It because the legal department and wasn't in 967 00:50:21,440 --> 00:50:23,920 Speaker 1: tune with the marketing department per se. Because that was 968 00:50:24,040 --> 00:50:27,560 Speaker 1: the actual problem was there were certain people that's buying 969 00:50:27,640 --> 00:50:30,839 Speaker 1: more gains the grills than they was buying actual artist albums, right, 970 00:50:31,320 --> 00:50:33,000 Speaker 1: I mean, I don't, It wasn't. I didn't see it 971 00:50:33,040 --> 00:50:36,000 Speaker 1: as a problem. Didn't look we see it as a problem. 972 00:50:39,080 --> 00:50:42,560 Speaker 1: You're saying the money we were seeing you just had 973 00:50:42,640 --> 00:50:44,960 Speaker 1: suits looking at it is copyright and f and it 974 00:50:45,080 --> 00:50:46,960 Speaker 1: was to the people out to leave the A and 975 00:50:47,080 --> 00:50:48,560 Speaker 1: rs that were at the street level that that's how 976 00:50:48,600 --> 00:50:50,120 Speaker 1: they were breaking all the artists that we're making in 977 00:50:50,200 --> 00:50:52,480 Speaker 1: their money. But you know, I always was I felt 978 00:50:52,520 --> 00:50:56,439 Speaker 1: like I was in cahoots with the labels like it was. Yeah, 979 00:50:56,480 --> 00:50:58,279 Speaker 1: So I was like, you know, I'm I'm not you know, 980 00:50:58,320 --> 00:51:00,239 Speaker 1: there were people out there that were leaking music, sick 981 00:51:00,280 --> 00:51:02,799 Speaker 1: and putting tapes out there like that wasn't my repertoire. 982 00:51:02,920 --> 00:51:07,080 Speaker 1: So um, but yeah, I don't, you know, I looked 983 00:51:07,080 --> 00:51:11,399 Speaker 1: at it like when the Beds came as a joker. Yeah, 984 00:51:11,440 --> 00:51:13,440 Speaker 1: I didn't. I didn't think that this was your homies 985 00:51:13,480 --> 00:51:16,560 Speaker 1: like massed up playing around Halloween. You didn't know what 986 00:51:16,640 --> 00:51:18,840 Speaker 1: happened to do it out here my years before that, 987 00:51:18,920 --> 00:51:20,640 Speaker 1: I heard you talk about that on the show. He 988 00:51:20,760 --> 00:51:22,520 Speaker 1: was the first one, but he was the mix tape 989 00:51:22,560 --> 00:51:24,920 Speaker 1: distributor got you. You probably might have done him at 990 00:51:24,960 --> 00:51:26,359 Speaker 1: some point, but he was one of the biggest ones. 991 00:51:26,840 --> 00:51:29,279 Speaker 1: And that's a little different. It's a little different than that. 992 00:51:29,640 --> 00:51:32,239 Speaker 1: And there were other like people that probably went down 993 00:51:32,360 --> 00:51:36,040 Speaker 1: for like bootlegging and stuff, But that was I was 994 00:51:36,160 --> 00:51:40,440 Speaker 1: that who seeing case, seeing m vs, seeing yours but 995 00:51:40,560 --> 00:51:43,560 Speaker 1: not knowing the impact of it, as if that like 996 00:51:44,000 --> 00:51:47,279 Speaker 1: what did you think when when? What was it? They 997 00:51:47,320 --> 00:51:48,920 Speaker 1: don't because the parts don't give you a warning, right, 998 00:51:48,920 --> 00:51:53,600 Speaker 1: they don't just coming. What happened? They came, you know, 999 00:51:53,880 --> 00:51:58,279 Speaker 1: with the fucking M sixteens. They came. They came like 1000 00:51:58,360 --> 00:52:01,239 Speaker 1: we had some ship. They wasn't looking for mixtapes. The 1001 00:52:01,320 --> 00:52:03,480 Speaker 1: first thing they said that when they went in that studio, 1002 00:52:04,520 --> 00:52:06,600 Speaker 1: where is it at? Tell us where it's had. It's 1003 00:52:06,600 --> 00:52:08,839 Speaker 1: gonna be easier on all y'all because you were sticking 1004 00:52:08,840 --> 00:52:13,000 Speaker 1: in cocaine. They thought, where are the guns and the drugs? 1005 00:52:13,080 --> 00:52:16,680 Speaker 1: That let us know. They didn't find nothing, bro, not 1006 00:52:16,840 --> 00:52:19,520 Speaker 1: a joint, not a non millimeter, and all you say, 1007 00:52:19,560 --> 00:52:22,440 Speaker 1: I'm an mixtape DJ, and like you know you're illegal, 1008 00:52:22,880 --> 00:52:25,840 Speaker 1: say well when I when they first looking back on it, 1009 00:52:26,080 --> 00:52:28,719 Speaker 1: I'm shocked at how calm I was, because they had 1010 00:52:28,760 --> 00:52:30,880 Speaker 1: the M sixteen pointed at me. I walked outside and 1011 00:52:31,160 --> 00:52:34,600 Speaker 1: moved my car, and I remember because you know, somebody 1012 00:52:34,680 --> 00:52:36,360 Speaker 1: called me and was like, yo, just let you know 1013 00:52:36,600 --> 00:52:39,880 Speaker 1: they're coming over. Idea. No, but I had a warning 1014 00:52:39,960 --> 00:52:43,960 Speaker 1: like maybe thirty minutes. This is a law enforcement guy. 1015 00:52:44,239 --> 00:52:47,000 Speaker 1: Somebody had a relative and law enforcement and they said, yo, 1016 00:52:47,040 --> 00:52:49,040 Speaker 1: we just got word because that was Tiya's old studio. 1017 00:52:49,640 --> 00:52:55,240 Speaker 1: So you know, um, you set them up with the guns, 1018 00:52:55,280 --> 00:52:59,640 Speaker 1: not just playing come on later that year that that's 1019 00:53:00,200 --> 00:53:04,040 Speaker 1: that hadn't happened yet. Atlantis. Look this ship is hot. 1020 00:53:04,440 --> 00:53:07,320 Speaker 1: They came. So they came. I remember just you know, 1021 00:53:07,640 --> 00:53:10,200 Speaker 1: getting on the ground thinking, okay, once we figured this 1022 00:53:10,239 --> 00:53:14,320 Speaker 1: out everything, they asked for my ID and then I 1023 00:53:14,400 --> 00:53:17,759 Speaker 1: hear him go over to you know the things we 1024 00:53:17,840 --> 00:53:19,880 Speaker 1: got one of the purps and I'm like, what, like, 1025 00:53:20,360 --> 00:53:22,440 Speaker 1: they tell me my name is Tamium. They said, Tarry Simmons, 1026 00:53:22,480 --> 00:53:25,440 Speaker 1: you you're under arrest for bootlegging and racketeering under the 1027 00:53:25,520 --> 00:53:34,040 Speaker 1: Rico law. And come out did they freeze asset? Because 1028 00:53:34,040 --> 00:53:35,640 Speaker 1: that's what they didn't do it out here? What I 1029 00:53:35,680 --> 00:53:37,560 Speaker 1: would check my band. I didn't know about the RecA 1030 00:53:37,600 --> 00:53:41,560 Speaker 1: at the time. I know that it's a type when 1031 00:53:42,080 --> 00:53:44,759 Speaker 1: hit me with the RecA the next day when I 1032 00:53:44,840 --> 00:53:48,320 Speaker 1: went to I got out. The next day, my nigger. 1033 00:53:48,320 --> 00:53:50,319 Speaker 1: I went to my bank account, that ship said zero 1034 00:53:50,480 --> 00:53:55,120 Speaker 1: point zero zero. Yeah, oh, but they let you out 1035 00:53:55,160 --> 00:53:56,759 Speaker 1: the next day, let me out the next day, Yeah, 1036 00:53:57,480 --> 00:54:01,279 Speaker 1: next that Jesus. I mean, but know in hindsight, like 1037 00:54:01,760 --> 00:54:04,279 Speaker 1: you know, the game was changing. I think I think 1038 00:54:04,320 --> 00:54:07,840 Speaker 1: looking back on it, like the the music industry was 1039 00:54:07,920 --> 00:54:11,400 Speaker 1: taking a hit, you know what I'm saying. That charged 1040 00:54:11,480 --> 00:54:14,160 Speaker 1: for a mixtape. Yeah, I was charging labels. No, no, 1041 00:54:14,280 --> 00:54:17,680 Speaker 1: I mean like officially now, which I mean, oh yeah, 1042 00:54:17,880 --> 00:54:19,920 Speaker 1: I mean look where it's at now. I mean it's 1043 00:54:19,960 --> 00:54:22,359 Speaker 1: it's bigger, but it became bigger business than ever even 1044 00:54:22,440 --> 00:54:24,920 Speaker 1: after that, you know, and and and speaking on that too, 1045 00:54:25,040 --> 00:54:27,120 Speaker 1: like you know, one of the things for me, like 1046 00:54:27,680 --> 00:54:30,520 Speaker 1: was that, you know, I felt a little guilty after that, 1047 00:54:31,000 --> 00:54:33,200 Speaker 1: you know, just in a sense of like, you know, 1048 00:54:33,360 --> 00:54:36,239 Speaker 1: not even you know, not even in the like there 1049 00:54:36,280 --> 00:54:38,440 Speaker 1: were conversations about how much money I was getting, or 1050 00:54:38,440 --> 00:54:40,600 Speaker 1: if I was doing it right or wrong, or you know, 1051 00:54:40,840 --> 00:54:43,480 Speaker 1: those beyond that, like this is a culture that I 1052 00:54:43,680 --> 00:54:46,719 Speaker 1: grew up loving and like, you know, like had a 1053 00:54:46,800 --> 00:54:51,480 Speaker 1: passion to too, listening to Clue like play everywhere in 1054 00:54:51,560 --> 00:54:54,600 Speaker 1: the streets of Philly and what have you so for 1055 00:54:54,760 --> 00:54:58,800 Speaker 1: me to become the top of the food chain and 1056 00:54:58,960 --> 00:55:01,080 Speaker 1: for this to happen, and you know, at the time, 1057 00:55:01,239 --> 00:55:03,840 Speaker 1: you know, if I'll tell you, like people the mixtape 1058 00:55:03,840 --> 00:55:05,719 Speaker 1: game was like, oh ship, we gotta chill out. They 1059 00:55:05,760 --> 00:55:08,600 Speaker 1: came from drama, like nobody's safe, you know what I'm saying. 1060 00:55:08,600 --> 00:55:10,560 Speaker 1: And I was like Damn, I can't. I can't let 1061 00:55:11,000 --> 00:55:13,920 Speaker 1: you realize how big the top he was, how much 1062 00:55:13,960 --> 00:55:17,640 Speaker 1: of a shark, or where all you were in the hindsight, 1063 00:55:17,680 --> 00:55:19,200 Speaker 1: I mean, it made me even bigger. But you felt 1064 00:55:19,239 --> 00:55:22,160 Speaker 1: you were like a scapegoat. That's what I felt like. 1065 00:55:22,200 --> 00:55:24,040 Speaker 1: I didn't want I couldn't a lot. I didn't want 1066 00:55:24,040 --> 00:55:25,920 Speaker 1: to see a culture down on my shoulders and I'd 1067 00:55:25,920 --> 00:55:30,040 Speaker 1: be to blame for it, like there was nothing like 1068 00:55:31,200 --> 00:55:33,480 Speaker 1: you said, and and the you know, the streaming ship 1069 00:55:33,560 --> 00:55:35,839 Speaker 1: like Napster and all that's happening at the same time, 1070 00:55:36,160 --> 00:55:39,080 Speaker 1: so they used mixtape DJs. Now, this is escapegoat. This 1071 00:55:39,120 --> 00:55:40,799 Speaker 1: is why we're losing money when it's not the case. 1072 00:55:40,880 --> 00:55:43,600 Speaker 1: We're helping, at least within the world of hip hop, 1073 00:55:43,640 --> 00:55:45,120 Speaker 1: we're helping. And then you know it's the I R 1074 00:55:45,200 --> 00:55:46,800 Speaker 1: double A like these. The same thing is that semi 1075 00:55:46,840 --> 00:55:49,640 Speaker 1: plaux like what y'all y'all includes with them to lock 1076 00:55:49,719 --> 00:55:52,200 Speaker 1: me up, like saying I'm doing something wrong. I'm helping 1077 00:55:52,239 --> 00:55:57,080 Speaker 1: you make millions and billions. Cassidy, you had the controversial 1078 00:55:57,080 --> 00:55:58,759 Speaker 1: with had a couple of controversion things. But one of 1079 00:55:58,800 --> 00:56:02,040 Speaker 1: the things is um in the middle of your you know, 1080 00:56:02,600 --> 00:56:06,400 Speaker 1: highlight of your career, this murder case happens? What what? 1081 00:56:07,000 --> 00:56:08,880 Speaker 1: What was that about? You talk about the parts that 1082 00:56:08,960 --> 00:56:11,040 Speaker 1: you can't talk about. You you don't have to talk 1083 00:56:11,040 --> 00:56:14,080 Speaker 1: about anything, but you can't talk about what? Like what 1084 00:56:14,239 --> 00:56:16,920 Speaker 1: was your mind like at that? You got a record there? 1085 00:56:17,680 --> 00:56:21,320 Speaker 1: You know what I mean? Lest this happens. Yeah, I 1086 00:56:21,400 --> 00:56:24,080 Speaker 1: came right before my second album drop I'm a hustler. 1087 00:56:25,360 --> 00:56:28,480 Speaker 1: Um hm. The single was out, the video was out, 1088 00:56:28,560 --> 00:56:31,640 Speaker 1: but the album didn't drop yet. That's when I realized 1089 00:56:31,640 --> 00:56:34,160 Speaker 1: I had a warrant. I had to turn myself finger 1090 00:56:34,239 --> 00:56:37,640 Speaker 1: when my lawyer's turned myself finished it. But I'm thinking 1091 00:56:37,680 --> 00:56:39,520 Speaker 1: I'm gonna be able to bail out, like I had 1092 00:56:39,520 --> 00:56:42,640 Speaker 1: a lot of support at that time, had the machine 1093 00:56:42,760 --> 00:56:45,160 Speaker 1: behind me. They was ready to push me. So I'm 1094 00:56:45,200 --> 00:56:49,719 Speaker 1: thinking I'm a bell out. But I actually went to 1095 00:56:49,840 --> 00:56:53,319 Speaker 1: my first court date. I didn't have a preliminary yet. 1096 00:56:53,360 --> 00:56:56,160 Speaker 1: They pushed the preliminary back, but the judge gave me 1097 00:56:56,239 --> 00:56:58,960 Speaker 1: a bell for five hundred thousand, and I thought I 1098 00:56:59,080 --> 00:57:02,560 Speaker 1: was going to that out that time. But the d 1099 00:57:02,800 --> 00:57:05,120 Speaker 1: A like they went in the pill this ship and say, yo, 1100 00:57:05,239 --> 00:57:07,320 Speaker 1: you can't do that. As illegal to do that. He 1101 00:57:07,360 --> 00:57:10,719 Speaker 1: ain't even have a preliminary hearing yet to determine what 1102 00:57:10,840 --> 00:57:12,960 Speaker 1: he charging them with, so how can you give him bell? 1103 00:57:13,640 --> 00:57:16,200 Speaker 1: So they had the appell that bell, and I had 1104 00:57:16,240 --> 00:57:18,960 Speaker 1: to wait till I have my preliminary hearing. Once I 1105 00:57:19,040 --> 00:57:23,280 Speaker 1: had my preliminary hearing, they gave me a bell. They 1106 00:57:23,360 --> 00:57:25,680 Speaker 1: gave me a two million dollar bell for the murder 1107 00:57:25,840 --> 00:57:28,160 Speaker 1: and two hundred thousand for each attempt So it came 1108 00:57:28,200 --> 00:57:32,560 Speaker 1: to like two point oh no, two point five million 1109 00:57:32,680 --> 00:57:35,240 Speaker 1: for the murder and two hundred thousand a piece for 1110 00:57:35,280 --> 00:57:38,080 Speaker 1: the attempts, so I think came at two point nine 1111 00:57:38,200 --> 00:57:42,400 Speaker 1: or something like that. But they said they got thirty days. 1112 00:57:42,440 --> 00:57:45,000 Speaker 1: I got thirty days the weight. I gotta wait. The 1113 00:57:45,120 --> 00:57:47,280 Speaker 1: d A got thirty days the appellar before I could 1114 00:57:47,280 --> 00:57:49,560 Speaker 1: pay it and get out. So my label and the 1115 00:57:49,600 --> 00:57:51,880 Speaker 1: people behind me was ready to pay it, you know 1116 00:57:51,920 --> 00:57:54,680 Speaker 1: what I'm saying. But on the thirtieth day, that's when 1117 00:57:54,720 --> 00:57:56,920 Speaker 1: the d A appelled it. Then we went back to 1118 00:57:57,040 --> 00:57:59,120 Speaker 1: court and they said they were charging me with the 1119 00:57:59,240 --> 00:58:01,680 Speaker 1: general murder then and then fully, you can't battle out 1120 00:58:01,760 --> 00:58:04,120 Speaker 1: for that. So I had to sit in court until 1121 00:58:04,200 --> 00:58:07,560 Speaker 1: trout and that's the reason why I was locked up 1122 00:58:07,560 --> 00:58:10,120 Speaker 1: by come promote down the Hustle album. It was the 1123 00:58:10,200 --> 00:58:12,560 Speaker 1: first platinum ring tone and ship was going crazy and 1124 00:58:12,640 --> 00:58:14,840 Speaker 1: they had it like a nice crazy promo run for 1125 00:58:14,960 --> 00:58:17,080 Speaker 1: me to make it even more of a movie. But 1126 00:58:17,240 --> 00:58:20,400 Speaker 1: I wasn't really there to execute. And um this is 1127 00:58:20,480 --> 00:58:23,320 Speaker 1: before like the social media days like nowa days. If 1128 00:58:23,360 --> 00:58:25,040 Speaker 1: that would have happened, it probably would have been more 1129 00:58:25,120 --> 00:58:31,080 Speaker 1: beneficial for the song was going on. Yeah, but back then, 1130 00:58:31,520 --> 00:58:33,960 Speaker 1: no social media, it was hard for people to understand 1131 00:58:34,040 --> 00:58:36,400 Speaker 1: what was going on. They ain't fully understand the story, 1132 00:58:36,480 --> 00:58:39,919 Speaker 1: and that kind of affected how big that project would 1133 00:58:39,960 --> 00:58:48,680 Speaker 1: have been. That's crazy some that because most of rappers 1134 00:58:48,720 --> 00:58:51,160 Speaker 1: that get hard of its old. You know what I'm saying, 1135 00:58:51,200 --> 00:58:53,680 Speaker 1: These people trying to invade your crib like pop smoke. 1136 00:58:53,760 --> 00:59:00,120 Speaker 1: This is something like that. Um nah. Um. Well, the 1137 00:59:00,240 --> 00:59:02,720 Speaker 1: situation actually happened with the murder. I was with some 1138 00:59:02,840 --> 00:59:07,480 Speaker 1: other friends, some other people you know, a R and them. 1139 00:59:07,680 --> 00:59:10,360 Speaker 1: They was with me, you know what I'm saying, And 1140 00:59:10,760 --> 00:59:12,960 Speaker 1: a situation happened when I went in the store. One 1141 00:59:13,000 --> 00:59:16,200 Speaker 1: of the homies gone to a confrontation with another nigga. 1142 00:59:16,240 --> 00:59:20,320 Speaker 1: Another nigga start choking the nigga. Right, I've never seen 1143 00:59:20,360 --> 00:59:22,480 Speaker 1: no ship like this neither. Like I've seen niggas go 1144 00:59:22,680 --> 00:59:27,120 Speaker 1: up punch niggas. I've seen niggas go up and kick niggas. 1145 00:59:27,440 --> 00:59:31,000 Speaker 1: I've seen even niggas running up and drop kick niggas before, 1146 00:59:31,520 --> 00:59:33,800 Speaker 1: but I've never seen a nigga like running up to 1147 00:59:33,960 --> 00:59:38,160 Speaker 1: a nigga and just start choking, like in my whole 1148 00:59:38,320 --> 00:59:46,280 Speaker 1: fucking entire life, like like like he knew he was 1149 00:59:46,320 --> 00:59:52,120 Speaker 1: doing some I'm a fan of. I know. It's like 1150 00:59:52,200 --> 00:59:54,240 Speaker 1: a long story to go back. Like I was having 1151 00:59:54,280 --> 00:59:57,720 Speaker 1: a private party for my album releasing Philly Right, and 1152 00:59:57,840 --> 01:00:00,880 Speaker 1: there was a hotel party. So one of the niggas 1153 01:00:00,880 --> 01:00:03,840 Speaker 1: sneak upstairs that we had security blocking niggers from even 1154 01:00:03,920 --> 01:00:06,800 Speaker 1: coming on that floor because it was so crazy. One 1155 01:00:06,880 --> 01:00:10,000 Speaker 1: of the nigga get upstairs and one of my homies like, Yo, 1156 01:00:10,080 --> 01:00:12,320 Speaker 1: what the funk you doing up here? Get the funk 1157 01:00:12,360 --> 01:00:17,160 Speaker 1: out what you're doing? So everybody else, you know, zone 1158 01:00:17,200 --> 01:00:19,600 Speaker 1: and doing them, But he like, what the fund is 1159 01:00:19,640 --> 01:00:21,880 Speaker 1: you doing in here, nigga, Get the funk out. It's 1160 01:00:21,920 --> 01:00:24,520 Speaker 1: only grows niggas in this room. Get the funk out, right, 1161 01:00:24,920 --> 01:00:27,840 Speaker 1: So he played the negative nigga feeling embarrassed, I don't 1162 01:00:27,880 --> 01:00:29,960 Speaker 1: really want to get out, but he got to, you 1163 01:00:30,000 --> 01:00:32,400 Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. Then my big brother is too 1164 01:00:32,520 --> 01:00:35,280 Speaker 1: much commotion, so he jumped out, Man, what the funk get? 1165 01:00:35,600 --> 01:00:37,760 Speaker 1: I mean, like, yeah, I gotta stop this ship. So 1166 01:00:38,120 --> 01:00:40,640 Speaker 1: the next time we see the niggas at this store, 1167 01:00:40,840 --> 01:00:43,960 Speaker 1: like at this uh wal mart or whatever. The next 1168 01:00:44,000 --> 01:00:46,000 Speaker 1: time we see the neggator had to get out. And 1169 01:00:46,120 --> 01:00:47,880 Speaker 1: I'm with the neiggat that told him to get out. 1170 01:00:48,320 --> 01:00:51,040 Speaker 1: So I guess he got so much emotions from being 1171 01:00:51,120 --> 01:00:53,920 Speaker 1: embarrassed at that time that he just come up to 1172 01:00:54,040 --> 01:00:57,320 Speaker 1: the nigga. He just started choking the nigga, like you 1173 01:00:57,360 --> 01:01:00,520 Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. So he choking him and they're 1174 01:01:00,560 --> 01:01:03,360 Speaker 1: like choking them with his hands. But the niggas are 1175 01:01:03,480 --> 01:01:05,560 Speaker 1: and them, they wasn't at the party. They don't know 1176 01:01:05,680 --> 01:01:07,480 Speaker 1: the nigga. I don't know what's going on. They just 1177 01:01:07,640 --> 01:01:10,600 Speaker 1: with the nigga that he's choking. So they get him 1178 01:01:10,680 --> 01:01:12,520 Speaker 1: up off of them, you know what I'm saying. They 1179 01:01:12,520 --> 01:01:14,440 Speaker 1: ain't really beat him up because I told him not to. 1180 01:01:14,640 --> 01:01:16,560 Speaker 1: I know the nigga, you know what I'm saying. But 1181 01:01:16,640 --> 01:01:18,800 Speaker 1: they got him up off the nigga or whatever, and 1182 01:01:18,880 --> 01:01:21,439 Speaker 1: when we get back around that when we drive off, 1183 01:01:21,840 --> 01:01:24,840 Speaker 1: that's when the conversation happened. Nigga start calling my phone 1184 01:01:24,920 --> 01:01:26,960 Speaker 1: thinking we rolled on their man, when I really saved 1185 01:01:27,000 --> 01:01:29,640 Speaker 1: their man life. And that's how the issue happened. But 1186 01:01:29,800 --> 01:01:31,960 Speaker 1: people think it was like somebody trying to run down 1187 01:01:32,040 --> 01:01:34,320 Speaker 1: on me, like I was trying to get robbed or 1188 01:01:34,360 --> 01:01:36,360 Speaker 1: somebody was about to come kill me and a r 1189 01:01:36,440 --> 01:01:39,000 Speaker 1: saved my life. No, that was the issue that day 1190 01:01:39,120 --> 01:01:41,680 Speaker 1: was going through. Day was in the situation, and I 1191 01:01:41,800 --> 01:01:44,600 Speaker 1: gave them the guns because they was acting like they 1192 01:01:44,640 --> 01:01:48,200 Speaker 1: were shooters. So if y'all got guns, then and your shooters, 1193 01:01:48,600 --> 01:01:52,080 Speaker 1: everybody comfortable. And when I gave them guns, that's how 1194 01:01:52,120 --> 01:01:55,400 Speaker 1: the whole situation went wrong, and niggas got shot and 1195 01:01:55,440 --> 01:01:57,640 Speaker 1: all that, and I got snitched on it too, like 1196 01:01:57,760 --> 01:01:59,680 Speaker 1: I was a shooter, you know what I'm saying. So 1197 01:01:59,800 --> 01:02:02,040 Speaker 1: that's how I went to jail for murder. But there 1198 01:02:02,120 --> 01:02:04,440 Speaker 1: was nobody defending me. Wasn't nothing happened to me. It 1199 01:02:04,520 --> 01:02:07,000 Speaker 1: wasn't even an issue with me. I was doing music, 1200 01:02:07,080 --> 01:02:09,200 Speaker 1: about to go to New York and record, and the 1201 01:02:09,280 --> 01:02:12,080 Speaker 1: niggas that I was got in the situation, and then 1202 01:02:12,240 --> 01:02:14,760 Speaker 1: when they got locked up. They told on me, and 1203 01:02:14,840 --> 01:02:16,960 Speaker 1: that's how I got a warrant issue out from my arrest. 1204 01:02:17,040 --> 01:02:19,880 Speaker 1: They said I was a shooter and just that statement 1205 01:02:19,920 --> 01:02:22,200 Speaker 1: Alan was enough to lock the wrapper up because that's 1206 01:02:22,200 --> 01:02:24,200 Speaker 1: what they really want me. So the bigger that got 1207 01:02:24,280 --> 01:02:27,640 Speaker 1: chicken and never died. I never died, nothing ever happened. 1208 01:02:27,920 --> 01:02:31,240 Speaker 1: He's still, you know, in the world. Make it to 1209 01:02:31,280 --> 01:02:36,160 Speaker 1: the hotel party. How was it working with all Kelly, 1210 01:02:36,240 --> 01:02:43,880 Speaker 1: Let's just be clear, I mean it was back then. 1211 01:02:43,920 --> 01:02:46,240 Speaker 1: How was it? I mean, how to dope? How is 1212 01:02:46,320 --> 01:02:48,560 Speaker 1: your discrepancy with Swiss? Because I remember weird on the 1213 01:02:48,640 --> 01:02:51,360 Speaker 1: phone before. You know, we were friends, man, we were 1214 01:02:51,520 --> 01:02:56,080 Speaker 1: back in the day before. There's many descripacies Swiss, Swiss 1215 01:02:56,120 --> 01:02:58,680 Speaker 1: is Swiss is my brother, many descriptions to be Virgo. 1216 01:02:58,840 --> 01:03:04,040 Speaker 1: So you know I clash, you know, um d L crime. 1217 01:03:04,080 --> 01:03:06,400 Speaker 1: It happens a lot um. Yeah, it's been a couple 1218 01:03:06,400 --> 01:03:08,000 Speaker 1: of times Ship I had to describe my SHEP was Swiss. 1219 01:03:08,040 --> 01:03:13,360 Speaker 1: Recently Swiss was on here and we spoke about his 1220 01:03:13,720 --> 01:03:16,400 Speaker 1: his problem with Drake and he edited me. He told 1221 01:03:16,440 --> 01:03:18,240 Speaker 1: me he wanted to me to edit him and I 1222 01:03:18,560 --> 01:03:21,400 Speaker 1: we don't edit at all. And I edited him and 1223 01:03:21,480 --> 01:03:23,520 Speaker 1: I was mad at the Ship because I felt like 1224 01:03:23,640 --> 01:03:27,000 Speaker 1: he had spoke articulate. I felt like he he didn't 1225 01:03:27,040 --> 01:03:29,760 Speaker 1: do what he did on the on his Instagram live 1226 01:03:29,800 --> 01:03:31,960 Speaker 1: when he went at Drake, I'm saying, and I wouldn't 1227 01:03:31,960 --> 01:03:34,920 Speaker 1: to put Swiss in um harm's way because Drake had 1228 01:03:35,000 --> 01:03:37,480 Speaker 1: just called us and was like, yo, we're coming down, 1229 01:03:37,720 --> 01:03:40,280 Speaker 1: Like I'm coming down, so he was ready to do 1230 01:03:40,280 --> 01:03:42,400 Speaker 1: a drink chat. So I wouldn't let's Swiss go crazy. 1231 01:03:42,440 --> 01:03:44,840 Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. I actually would have, you know, 1232 01:03:45,640 --> 01:03:47,560 Speaker 1: for a lack of a better term, tamed him, like 1233 01:03:47,600 --> 01:03:49,680 Speaker 1: I wouldn't have edit it, but I tamed him, so 1234 01:03:49,720 --> 01:03:52,280 Speaker 1: I did. And then he's like, nah, he called me. 1235 01:03:52,360 --> 01:03:56,280 Speaker 1: He was like, yo, you know, editor ship man, you 1236 01:03:56,320 --> 01:03:59,760 Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. And I was like, all right, 1237 01:04:00,000 --> 01:04:01,959 Speaker 1: because I don't like editing. I don't like editing myself. 1238 01:04:02,000 --> 01:04:04,360 Speaker 1: I say something stupid like I'm like, fucking just let me, 1239 01:04:04,600 --> 01:04:06,560 Speaker 1: let me, let me just go through the stupid. Yeah, 1240 01:04:06,560 --> 01:04:08,080 Speaker 1: you look stupid all the time, So I don't. I don't. 1241 01:04:08,080 --> 01:04:10,960 Speaker 1: I don't mind at all. But I was kind of mad, 1242 01:04:11,080 --> 01:04:13,640 Speaker 1: like that's that's that's that's the reason. But um, you know, 1243 01:04:13,720 --> 01:04:15,919 Speaker 1: that's what I noticed in this game. If you're gonna 1244 01:04:15,920 --> 01:04:18,000 Speaker 1: be around people, you're gonna spind things that that you 1245 01:04:18,160 --> 01:04:19,960 Speaker 1: love with them, and you're gonna find things that you 1246 01:04:20,400 --> 01:04:22,200 Speaker 1: you know, I don't want to use the word hate, 1247 01:04:22,240 --> 01:04:23,880 Speaker 1: but you dislike of them, you know what I mean. 1248 01:04:23,960 --> 01:04:26,160 Speaker 1: But that doesn't make you just friends. It's it's just 1249 01:04:26,240 --> 01:04:28,160 Speaker 1: been a whole bunch of ships. The same thing with Forrell, 1250 01:04:28,240 --> 01:04:30,640 Speaker 1: Like I know Frell twenty two years. Frell at one 1251 01:04:30,680 --> 01:04:33,040 Speaker 1: point was doing country music and he told me I'm 1252 01:04:33,120 --> 01:04:38,520 Speaker 1: doing country music And I said, what another super Doug 1253 01:04:39,520 --> 01:04:42,200 Speaker 1: Me like, I need another whole boy like you know. 1254 01:04:42,600 --> 01:04:45,080 Speaker 1: But it happens, man, and um, you know, through the 1255 01:04:45,160 --> 01:04:47,640 Speaker 1: grace of I want to say God, and through the 1256 01:04:47,680 --> 01:04:50,600 Speaker 1: grace of you know, just think that it's been times 1257 01:04:50,600 --> 01:04:53,960 Speaker 1: when you called me you already on some ship and 1258 01:04:54,320 --> 01:04:56,040 Speaker 1: tell me one of the times, I don't know, I 1259 01:04:56,160 --> 01:04:58,760 Speaker 1: was going I was about to go crazy on me. 1260 01:04:58,960 --> 01:05:01,800 Speaker 1: I mean, my I can't believe this, niggad. I've been 1261 01:05:02,000 --> 01:05:04,600 Speaker 1: crazy on this nigga. And you're calling me. You're checking 1262 01:05:04,640 --> 01:05:07,360 Speaker 1: in you got yo, what's up? Man? You're checking my temperature. 1263 01:05:07,720 --> 01:05:10,520 Speaker 1: You're trying to see if it's just rappid it's so serious, 1264 01:05:13,160 --> 01:05:15,560 Speaker 1: serious giving me all the advice that you need me 1265 01:05:15,880 --> 01:05:18,280 Speaker 1: You who g I needed to relax. I don't need 1266 01:05:18,360 --> 01:05:21,120 Speaker 1: to take it past this level. You've always been giving 1267 01:05:21,160 --> 01:05:24,200 Speaker 1: me good advice to calm down. One time I talked 1268 01:05:24,240 --> 01:05:26,120 Speaker 1: to you when you was talking about Swiss and it 1269 01:05:26,240 --> 01:05:32,360 Speaker 1: was in reverse. I was trying to calm you. It's 1270 01:05:32,440 --> 01:05:35,760 Speaker 1: going crazy. I'm like, yo, glorious about to go crazy, 1271 01:05:35,800 --> 01:05:41,120 Speaker 1: and what's going on, my bro? That is happening. I 1272 01:05:41,200 --> 01:05:49,680 Speaker 1: could imagine that. It get crazy at times. And there's 1273 01:05:49,720 --> 01:05:53,560 Speaker 1: times like he wasn't we wasn't communicating, we wasn't speakers, 1274 01:05:53,720 --> 01:05:56,040 Speaker 1: or it's not like I could really tap in you, 1275 01:05:56,240 --> 01:05:58,680 Speaker 1: the one tapping in you. The niggad as reaching out 1276 01:05:58,800 --> 01:06:01,040 Speaker 1: tapping that and I'm not I'm not talking to him. 1277 01:06:01,840 --> 01:06:04,560 Speaker 1: So when you're coming from but it's at the same time, 1278 01:06:04,640 --> 01:06:07,880 Speaker 1: it's like, damn, like I'm between the rock and office 1279 01:06:07,920 --> 01:06:10,680 Speaker 1: and I'm trying to calm you down. You're like, man, God, 1280 01:06:14,400 --> 01:06:17,400 Speaker 1: that's my brother though, that's my I expect that, man. 1281 01:06:17,440 --> 01:06:19,640 Speaker 1: I expect me being mad though, And I ain't denying 1282 01:06:19,680 --> 01:06:26,280 Speaker 1: you at all. It's the drink Champs Mary. Everybody ain't 1283 01:06:26,600 --> 01:06:30,800 Speaker 1: that at all because saying that went through more of 1284 01:06:30,840 --> 01:06:33,200 Speaker 1: a discrepancy than me and me and him, like I 1285 01:06:33,360 --> 01:06:35,800 Speaker 1: wasn't even on that tip like how you was with him. 1286 01:06:35,920 --> 01:06:38,720 Speaker 1: I never got that that tip. It's just over business, 1287 01:06:38,800 --> 01:06:41,080 Speaker 1: like you know what I'm saying that it's a miscommunication 1288 01:06:41,480 --> 01:06:43,960 Speaker 1: and a lot of niggas that's that came out around 1289 01:06:44,000 --> 01:06:47,919 Speaker 1: my time, even before me, wetulars arguing going through ship 1290 01:06:48,000 --> 01:06:50,640 Speaker 1: about them being locked in contracts and the predicaments and 1291 01:06:50,960 --> 01:06:53,680 Speaker 1: they only getting a little bit of money publishing every year. 1292 01:06:53,720 --> 01:06:55,640 Speaker 1: They wish they could get out of contracts that they've 1293 01:06:55,680 --> 01:06:58,400 Speaker 1: been signed when they was kids. So niggas is trying 1294 01:06:58,440 --> 01:07:00,400 Speaker 1: to get out of these contracts because they know they're 1295 01:07:00,440 --> 01:07:02,680 Speaker 1: not right and they're stuck in them. And because I 1296 01:07:02,880 --> 01:07:05,480 Speaker 1: was able to niggas think it's a discrepancy, I did 1297 01:07:05,600 --> 01:07:07,640 Speaker 1: something wrong. Now, I did that what was best for 1298 01:07:07,720 --> 01:07:11,480 Speaker 1: my brand at the time, yea. And that's why I've 1299 01:07:11,520 --> 01:07:14,080 Speaker 1: been moving independent like this for the last fitteen years. 1300 01:07:14,200 --> 01:07:17,880 Speaker 1: Niggas can't really control me sound as me. I don't 1301 01:07:17,880 --> 01:07:19,800 Speaker 1: really get caught up in the loop. I don't really 1302 01:07:19,840 --> 01:07:22,560 Speaker 1: gotta please nobody. I don't gotta laugh and smile. I 1303 01:07:22,600 --> 01:07:24,640 Speaker 1: don't got to do nothing that Michael Blacks to call 1304 01:07:24,720 --> 01:07:26,400 Speaker 1: me for a movie. I could do it, like you 1305 01:07:26,440 --> 01:07:28,160 Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. I could call you be like, yeah, 1306 01:07:28,160 --> 01:07:29,840 Speaker 1: I want to put together a drink, chance to get 1307 01:07:29,840 --> 01:07:31,840 Speaker 1: it popping. It might not be in his best interest 1308 01:07:31,920 --> 01:07:33,560 Speaker 1: because I don't got the machine behind me, But I 1309 01:07:33,600 --> 01:07:35,480 Speaker 1: could do whatever I want to do at any given 1310 01:07:35,520 --> 01:07:37,800 Speaker 1: the time. And that's why I appreciate coming on this 1311 01:07:37,960 --> 01:07:40,680 Speaker 1: platform because it's roll for me and my brand now 1312 01:07:40,840 --> 01:07:43,240 Speaker 1: for nobody else, and nothing those niggas got going on, 1313 01:07:43,400 --> 01:07:45,320 Speaker 1: it's all for with me and my team got going on. 1314 01:07:45,480 --> 01:07:48,280 Speaker 1: And that's why I appreciate this situation more than ever. 1315 01:07:48,600 --> 01:07:50,960 Speaker 1: It might take a longer. I know you love the machines. 1316 01:07:51,040 --> 01:08:01,320 Speaker 1: It's easy, it's easy. Is it easier? Easy? It's a 1317 01:08:01,400 --> 01:08:03,800 Speaker 1: harder fight like that. It's a hard a fight like this. 1318 01:08:03,960 --> 01:08:05,920 Speaker 1: But I want once you once you go through the 1319 01:08:06,040 --> 01:08:08,320 Speaker 1: fight and you get the knockout or you get there, 1320 01:08:08,360 --> 01:08:10,280 Speaker 1: you win by decision, and you go through that fight 1321 01:08:10,360 --> 01:08:13,640 Speaker 1: and then you win, and then you like untouchable. It's 1322 01:08:13,720 --> 01:08:16,040 Speaker 1: nothing nobody could do to you, and there's nothing nobody 1323 01:08:16,080 --> 01:08:18,280 Speaker 1: could compare to you. And then the same amount of 1324 01:08:18,320 --> 01:08:20,240 Speaker 1: money gonna open up for you. It's just gonna take 1325 01:08:20,240 --> 01:08:23,680 Speaker 1: a little longer time. So you know how that being 1326 01:08:23,840 --> 01:08:31,600 Speaker 1: a network where you're like being on Instagram that I 1327 01:08:31,680 --> 01:08:34,360 Speaker 1: like doing my own thing. The thing about the industry, 1328 01:08:34,520 --> 01:08:37,360 Speaker 1: then step up to me till every bit up what 1329 01:08:37,600 --> 01:08:40,400 Speaker 1: seven years ago? I was expected, 1372 01:11:25,200 --> 01:11:35,120 Speaker 1: all right, pacity a little bit of dude shake Bedie 1373 01:11:35,200 --> 01:11:44,800 Speaker 1: Seagull or Jade Kiss. M hm, take a shot about 1374 01:11:45,600 --> 01:11:50,799 Speaker 1: Jade Kiss. That's not personal, right, This is like bars 1375 01:11:51,240 --> 01:12:05,479 Speaker 1: back to me, who I pick? Who? Who I would pick? Brandon? Alright, 1376 01:12:05,520 --> 01:12:21,160 Speaker 1: all right? He discovered this is payback this lot. That's fine. 1379 01:12:34,200 --> 01:12:36,040 Speaker 1: I guess he's trying to throw a Philly nigger in 1380 01:12:36,080 --> 01:12:42,720 Speaker 1: the conversation over the other with the city over a 1381 01:12:42,800 --> 01:12:50,080 Speaker 1: different nigga, Nas or jay Z. I'm not gonna ask 1382 01:12:50,080 --> 01:12:54,240 Speaker 1: why this time Nas I did while songs were nas 1383 01:12:54,320 --> 01:12:56,880 Speaker 1: not sure wild love to meet Kings to studio, fun 1384 01:12:57,000 --> 01:13:00,439 Speaker 1: with me and he got eat out. So I gotta 1385 01:13:00,479 --> 01:13:05,480 Speaker 1: go with naj Kevin Hart Will Smith. What a combination 1386 01:13:06,560 --> 01:13:12,000 Speaker 1: the same category? I think it's gonna say like Kevin Hard, 1387 01:13:12,080 --> 01:13:15,160 Speaker 1: like that's what I was suspected. Okay, you probably you 1388 01:13:15,240 --> 01:13:18,519 Speaker 1: might want to do that. Don't want anybody you want 1389 01:13:18,520 --> 01:13:24,040 Speaker 1: to Kevin Hart or Mike Apps? Has you even started 1390 01:13:24,040 --> 01:13:27,559 Speaker 1: working with these questions? I gotta go with Apps because 1391 01:13:27,600 --> 01:13:30,200 Speaker 1: I made more money with Apps and y'all did the 1392 01:13:30,360 --> 01:13:34,599 Speaker 1: Friday and Ship. We're tour together right now. We're to Yeah, 1393 01:13:34,640 --> 01:13:37,000 Speaker 1: we've been touring for like a few years together. So 1394 01:13:37,320 --> 01:13:39,400 Speaker 1: it's what you know what I mean made the question 1395 01:13:39,800 --> 01:13:46,360 Speaker 1: himself comedian, who's a better comedian? I mean it is 1396 01:13:46,400 --> 01:13:49,880 Speaker 1: more sillier to me, you know, like silly motherfucker's Kevis 1397 01:13:49,920 --> 01:13:53,560 Speaker 1: my nigga. He's talented and he's business minding. He's a 1398 01:13:53,600 --> 01:13:56,080 Speaker 1: great guy. But he just not active enough. 1402 01:14:16,080 --> 01:14:18,960 Speaker 1: He's not he's not working hard enough. He's not he's 1403 01:14:19,000 --> 01:14:21,479 Speaker 1: not active enough for me, like especially in the last 1404 01:14:21,560 --> 01:14:24,120 Speaker 1: ten years. Like you know what I'm saying that Meek 1405 01:14:24,200 --> 01:14:27,080 Speaker 1: Men too too active. The last ten years that you 1406 01:14:27,120 --> 01:14:29,519 Speaker 1: know what I'm saying for me to say, Pet, so 1407 01:14:29,640 --> 01:14:41,280 Speaker 1: I gotta m shop. I respect that you did. I 1408 01:14:41,320 --> 01:14:44,720 Speaker 1: couldn't answer that question now, but actually I want to 1409 01:14:44,760 --> 01:14:47,400 Speaker 1: take that back now. I'm gonna go with Pet because 1410 01:14:47,439 --> 01:15:07,920 Speaker 1: he that's like, you know, I got signed. My son 1411 01:15:07,960 --> 01:15:10,479 Speaker 1: about to be eighteen. So sometimes you be around the 1412 01:15:10,560 --> 01:15:13,000 Speaker 1: crowd like my Ni playing all this music, they be 1413 01:15:13,080 --> 01:15:16,680 Speaker 1: caught up in there. So I'm thinking about like success 1414 01:15:16,960 --> 01:15:19,800 Speaker 1: and accomplishments and how many people been talking about him. 1415 01:15:19,840 --> 01:15:22,880 Speaker 1: I'm in the same bag as like the social media niggas. 1416 01:15:23,360 --> 01:15:26,120 Speaker 1: But I know Pet originated that style. I even did 1417 01:15:26,200 --> 01:15:28,639 Speaker 1: it this song telling me how he stole pet style. 1418 01:15:29,520 --> 01:15:32,519 Speaker 1: And Pet was super active when he was men doing 1419 01:15:32,560 --> 01:15:35,000 Speaker 1: this thing. Yeah, video, I was I ain't 1469 01:19:10,680 --> 01:19:13,519 Speaker 1: gonna lie. Met the Nigger twice. First time was when 1470 01:19:13,760 --> 01:19:19,880 Speaker 1: Switzer the Niggas took me to Chicago to record the record. Yeah, 1471 01:19:23,800 --> 01:19:25,920 Speaker 1: Grady is definitely the plug. This is my first I 1472 01:19:26,080 --> 01:19:28,680 Speaker 1: had no singles out, I had no records out, I 1473 01:19:28,680 --> 01:19:31,120 Speaker 1: ain't had shipped out. They just opened up my budget. 1474 01:19:31,439 --> 01:19:33,360 Speaker 1: I did a lot of the songs and they're like, Yo, 1475 01:19:33,439 --> 01:19:35,400 Speaker 1: you need a single with a big single on it, 1476 01:19:35,800 --> 01:19:37,240 Speaker 1: Like you know what I'm saying, some ship that we 1477 01:19:37,479 --> 01:19:40,599 Speaker 1: because I was on J Records, they like, they don't 1478 01:19:40,640 --> 01:19:43,000 Speaker 1: need no death Jam record. They need a record that's 1479 01:19:43,040 --> 01:19:46,280 Speaker 1: top forty that they came to. Yeah, they need that 1480 01:19:46,360 --> 01:19:53,320 Speaker 1: type of record cloud like where's that record that like 1481 01:19:53,479 --> 01:19:59,680 Speaker 1: where's the where's the Yeah. So not that first. Some 1482 01:19:59,760 --> 01:20:02,240 Speaker 1: of my the names came up. Some other ideas came up. 1483 01:20:04,920 --> 01:20:08,080 Speaker 1: Man that was so long ago, Mankaren Man, I ain't 1484 01:20:08,080 --> 01:20:09,960 Speaker 1: gonna lie. I don't want to do that because I'm like, 1485 01:20:10,360 --> 01:20:13,559 Speaker 1: I'm like, I don't remember. But it was some whether 1486 01:20:13,600 --> 01:20:17,360 Speaker 1: it was whoever was big at that time, who was 1487 01:20:18,040 --> 01:20:21,160 Speaker 1: like at the same time as Kelly. Definitely, those names 1488 01:20:21,240 --> 01:20:26,880 Speaker 1: came up, like all the all of the big singers 1489 01:20:27,000 --> 01:20:29,200 Speaker 1: right there came up. Right, because I got out the 1490 01:20:29,240 --> 01:20:39,160 Speaker 1: bars if you wanted. And then Kelly, I said, Grady Grady, like, Yo, 1491 01:20:39,320 --> 01:20:41,240 Speaker 1: you want to do something, Kelly, I think we go 1492 01:20:41,320 --> 01:20:43,920 Speaker 1: out there in from Chicago. Din. I'm like, what the 1493 01:20:44,080 --> 01:20:47,560 Speaker 1: funk are Kelly? Hero? Yeah, let's get it because I 1494 01:20:47,680 --> 01:20:50,880 Speaker 1: know my old like my god brother died like eleven 1495 01:20:50,960 --> 01:20:52,680 Speaker 1: years older than me. That's my old way. Used to 1496 01:20:52,720 --> 01:20:54,559 Speaker 1: add a hood on smashes to take me around. They 1497 01:20:54,640 --> 01:20:59,120 Speaker 1: used to be playing R. Kelly and with a gun 1498 01:20:59,200 --> 01:21:01,519 Speaker 1: in the car that and they think playing R Kelly 1499 01:21:01,600 --> 01:21:03,519 Speaker 1: and the girls used to love it. So I used 1500 01:21:03,560 --> 01:21:05,240 Speaker 1: to be like you R Kelly, that nigga as a 1501 01:21:05,320 --> 01:21:08,040 Speaker 1: young boy. So when they suggested me to do something 1502 01:21:08,080 --> 01:21:10,160 Speaker 1: with R. Kelly, I'm like, hell, yeah, let's get it. 1503 01:21:10,720 --> 01:21:13,720 Speaker 1: So they flew me out there to Chicago, took me 1504 01:21:13,800 --> 01:21:19,519 Speaker 1: in the studio. The nigger come out on the studio. Nah, yeah, 1505 01:21:19,520 --> 01:21:23,560 Speaker 1: I don't see regular ship. He came out though he 1506 01:21:23,720 --> 01:21:25,479 Speaker 1: came out right. He explained it to him. We like, yo, 1507 01:21:25,560 --> 01:21:28,400 Speaker 1: we got the song one through hotel, like like ladies 1508 01:21:28,479 --> 01:21:30,800 Speaker 1: going to hotel all this ship and then he like, 1509 01:21:30,920 --> 01:21:32,760 Speaker 1: let me hear the beat. As soon as the beat 1510 01:21:32,840 --> 01:21:37,000 Speaker 1: came on the nigga started going crazy, like he started 1511 01:21:37,040 --> 01:21:40,519 Speaker 1: doing all these different who who who and started doing 1512 01:21:40,600 --> 01:21:42,040 Speaker 1: all these and all of these and ship. Then he 1513 01:21:42,120 --> 01:21:46,000 Speaker 1: went in the booth and went crazy, like the remix 1514 01:21:46,080 --> 01:21:48,760 Speaker 1: the Hotel, he did all that. He did like wild 1515 01:21:48,840 --> 01:21:51,960 Speaker 1: More Court, like Swiss got Wild morel chorus is from 1516 01:21:52,040 --> 01:21:54,000 Speaker 1: r Kelly from the same session, and he did a 1517 01:21:54,040 --> 01:21:56,599 Speaker 1: lot of ship from the same session. It's just reused 1518 01:21:56,640 --> 01:21:58,880 Speaker 1: that little piece for the hotel hook. You know what 1519 01:21:58,920 --> 01:22:01,519 Speaker 1: I'm saying. But he went crazy. I'm like, Yo, this 1520 01:22:01,640 --> 01:22:03,720 Speaker 1: nigga is a genius. And then we went back to 1521 01:22:03,800 --> 01:22:05,880 Speaker 1: the hotel Swiss and yeah, we got this nigga are 1522 01:22:05,960 --> 01:22:08,960 Speaker 1: Kelly on this ship and then we wrote. We wrote 1523 01:22:09,000 --> 01:22:10,960 Speaker 1: the ship right in the hotel. I'm like, we could 1524 01:22:11,000 --> 01:22:13,120 Speaker 1: go get the cragging, but you know where to happen, 1525 01:22:13,320 --> 01:22:15,519 Speaker 1: We'd be under the covers. I came up right with 1526 01:22:15,720 --> 01:22:18,840 Speaker 1: that ship in the actual hotel with Swiss. And then 1527 01:22:19,240 --> 01:22:20,919 Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, We went back and recorded 1528 01:22:20,960 --> 01:22:22,760 Speaker 1: and then there was a hit. And the second time 1529 01:22:22,800 --> 01:22:24,519 Speaker 1: I've seen that man was when he showed up with 1530 01:22:24,600 --> 01:22:27,479 Speaker 1: the masks on at the video shoot. You know what 1531 01:22:27,520 --> 01:22:33,240 Speaker 1: I'm saying. I'm like, I'm thinking too, like this is 1532 01:22:33,320 --> 01:22:36,840 Speaker 1: my video. Were in Chicago. I'm super excited. This is 1533 01:22:36,880 --> 01:22:39,519 Speaker 1: my first video, was like, I mean, I did big business, 1534 01:22:40,200 --> 01:22:43,439 Speaker 1: but I'm telling about my personal video, Like even though 1535 01:22:43,560 --> 01:22:46,400 Speaker 1: R Kelly and it is my video, Like this my budget, 1536 01:22:46,479 --> 01:22:50,400 Speaker 1: my ship and we're in Chicago. I'm like, I'm feeling 1539 01:22:55,560 --> 01:22:58,040 Speaker 1: like I'm on top of the world. And then they're like, yo, 1540 01:22:58,280 --> 01:23:00,960 Speaker 1: R Kelly here. I'm like yes, because I don't think 1541 01:23:00,960 --> 01:23:04,280 Speaker 1: the niggas gonna come nigga showed him like yes, or 1542 01:23:04,439 --> 01:23:08,280 Speaker 1: Kelly coming there with the mask or I'm like but 1543 01:23:08,400 --> 01:23:18,479 Speaker 1: I could tell us are Kelly. And then the nigga show with 1554 01:23:44,200 --> 01:23:46,000 Speaker 1: the mask, so I was like, yo, one nigga night. 1555 01:23:46,479 --> 01:23:48,519 Speaker 1: But I got to accept it. I'm like, yo, fucking 1556 01:23:48,520 --> 01:23:52,240 Speaker 1: I don't given six in the morning. I came after that because 1593 01:26:08,840 --> 01:26:12,080 Speaker 1: my Nigga, I was in the bathroom smoking. I was like, Nigga, 1594 01:26:12,080 --> 01:26:14,680 Speaker 1: I'm about to go out on Madison Square Guard. I'm 1595 01:26:14,720 --> 01:26:18,240 Speaker 1: already lit. I'm already performing this ship, and I'm already 1596 01:26:18,439 --> 01:26:21,360 Speaker 1: super lit already. So now I'm about to go on 1597 01:26:21,479 --> 01:26:24,599 Speaker 1: stage with R. Kelly at Madison Square, Guarden, I'm about 1598 01:26:24,600 --> 01:26:26,559 Speaker 1: to go on and go. Girl, you want to cover 1599 01:26:26,680 --> 01:26:28,919 Speaker 1: to my old time. I'm in the bathroom, I'm smoking. 1600 01:26:29,479 --> 01:26:32,920 Speaker 1: I'm ready. But I was high hated back then like 1601 01:26:33,040 --> 01:26:36,160 Speaker 1: this this like before they before, like the cases and 1602 01:26:36,280 --> 01:26:38,799 Speaker 1: all that. Nigga's got the all gatte where 1604 01:26:41,560 --> 01:26:44,400 Speaker 1: and all was a sudden I see R. Key, 1606 01:26:48,240 --> 01:26:50,840 Speaker 1: I like, what the fun going on? They're like, yo, 1607 01:26:52,000 --> 01:26:55,400 Speaker 1: it's called they're screaming on crazy. So we take some 1608 01:26:55,560 --> 01:26:59,000 Speaker 1: guns and we give them some guns. Like, yeah, Nick, 1609 01:26:59,040 --> 01:27:01,120 Speaker 1: I need to get on the stag to perform this ship. 1610 01:27:01,880 --> 01:27:04,639 Speaker 1: I don't know what they're going through the nigga screaming, 1611 01:27:04,680 --> 01:27:07,519 Speaker 1: ain't saying what he's going through. He just like niggas trainer, 1612 01:27:08,240 --> 01:27:10,960 Speaker 1: So we get him nigging some guns and selling niggas 1613 01:27:10,960 --> 01:27:12,880 Speaker 1: go into business so we could get on the stage. 1614 01:27:13,320 --> 01:27:18,280 Speaker 1: Next thing. I know. It's a hell of Madison Square 1615 01:27:18,320 --> 01:27:21,560 Speaker 1: Gardens story. And you know, I just I copied do 1788 01:39:04,080 --> 01:39:06,680 Speaker 1: Op and just you know, took the artists that were 1789 01:39:06,720 --> 01:39:08,760 Speaker 1: around me at the time. We all wanted to do that. 1790 01:39:08,840 --> 01:39:10,960 Speaker 1: Any mixtape you really wanted to do that, You wanted 1791 01:39:10,960 --> 01:39:12,679 Speaker 1: to do that. That's like, can 1807 01:40:20,560 --> 01:40:23,719 Speaker 1: I bring my my nigg Yeah yeah yeah yeah, lulu 1808 01:40:23,840 --> 01:40:29,080 Speaker 1: USI birth Okay, generational, Okay, coolest, that's what y'all are. 1809 01:40:29,640 --> 01:40:39,240 Speaker 1: Cool nigga right here, cool nigger. You're Gonnas only, right boy? 1810 01:40:39,640 --> 01:40:44,519 Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, you're crazy crazy yeah yeah yeah yeah that 1811 01:40:44,640 --> 01:40:47,240 Speaker 1: niggas about it that it's crazy crazy and you signed 1812 01:40:47,240 --> 01:40:51,120 Speaker 1: the drum yeah, yeah, generational. So how do y'all link up? 1813 01:40:52,600 --> 01:40:56,640 Speaker 1: I sluck in the studio. I got my I just 1814 01:40:56,720 --> 01:40:59,200 Speaker 1: got my deal from the Red Flow the boy I 1815 01:40:59,280 --> 01:41:02,200 Speaker 1: got that was how that was coming. When John really 1816 01:41:02,240 --> 01:41:04,439 Speaker 1: came in, wrapped hands around and they took it to 1817 01:41:04,479 --> 01:41:07,400 Speaker 1: another level with it. Now we are I really stuck 1818 01:41:07,439 --> 01:41:10,559 Speaker 1: in the studio. I met with a joke with a joke, 1819 01:41:11,080 --> 01:41:16,080 Speaker 1: it's what's yeah, whether Joe is at Main Street at 1820 01:41:16,120 --> 01:41:20,040 Speaker 1: the fly of Flying Arts. So once I link up 1821 01:41:20,080 --> 01:41:22,360 Speaker 1: with him, you know, he put me in front of 1822 01:41:22,360 --> 01:41:24,479 Speaker 1: the drum and when he was already hearing the music 1823 01:41:24,800 --> 01:41:28,439 Speaker 1: and John was off the rip. So just took it 1824 01:41:28,520 --> 01:41:35,720 Speaker 1: from nothing like let's do it? Yeah, how did you 1825 01:41:35,800 --> 01:41:39,760 Speaker 1: mean swiss um? I was signed the Rough Riders. I 1826 01:41:39,800 --> 01:41:45,880 Speaker 1: signed the Rough Riders when I was seventeen. Mm hmm yeah, 1827 01:41:45,960 --> 01:41:49,320 Speaker 1: when I was the ball day. I'm not t d 1828 01:41:49,439 --> 01:41:53,320 Speaker 1: to negotiated that Swiss pop. I'm not an a Philly 1829 01:41:53,360 --> 01:41:55,439 Speaker 1: in the ballger shop and he was passing through, he 1830 01:41:55,560 --> 01:41:58,000 Speaker 1: used to live in Philly, savey passing through and then 1831 01:41:58,120 --> 01:41:59,960 Speaker 1: he was asking who the hottest thing in this set 1832 01:42:00,760 --> 01:42:02,960 Speaker 1: and the Barbara told him about me, called me through 1833 01:42:02,960 --> 01:42:06,760 Speaker 1: the studio asked me to spit some ship. So I 1834 01:42:06,880 --> 01:42:09,360 Speaker 1: came to the studio and start spitting. I seen TV 1835 01:42:09,520 --> 01:42:11,960 Speaker 1: he was down with Rough Riders. I didn't know him though. 1836 01:42:12,000 --> 01:42:14,840 Speaker 1: He wasn't like DMX and nobody that I was familiar with, 1837 01:42:15,760 --> 01:42:18,439 Speaker 1: but he had on the hat, he had merchandise and 1838 01:42:18,479 --> 01:42:20,960 Speaker 1: ship like that. That's how I sped for him, made him, 1839 01:42:21,160 --> 01:42:23,200 Speaker 1: made an impression on him. He got my number and 1840 01:42:23,280 --> 01:42:26,400 Speaker 1: all that. Like two days later in school, I got 1841 01:42:26,520 --> 01:42:28,320 Speaker 1: a page from my mom and he was telling me 1842 01:42:28,400 --> 01:42:30,560 Speaker 1: to come out in New York to me why his 1843 01:42:30,720 --> 01:42:32,960 Speaker 1: brother that was the CEO or Rough Riders. And that's 1844 01:42:33,000 --> 01:42:34,640 Speaker 1: how I got signed the Rough Riders when I was 1845 01:42:34,720 --> 01:42:37,720 Speaker 1: seventeen and Swiss was like one of the popping this 1846 01:42:37,880 --> 01:42:41,040 Speaker 1: producers over there at the time. When I first got signed, 1847 01:42:42,400 --> 01:42:44,960 Speaker 1: he was leviting and when I when I got signed, 1848 01:42:45,040 --> 01:42:48,559 Speaker 1: he started to blow started to go crazy. He wanted 1849 01:42:48,600 --> 01:42:51,280 Speaker 1: to start his own production company, so he needed an artist. 1850 01:42:51,760 --> 01:42:53,920 Speaker 1: I was in the three man group, lost in the family, 1851 01:42:54,000 --> 01:42:55,920 Speaker 1: but he said he wanted me as a solo artist. 1852 01:42:56,000 --> 01:43:00,120 Speaker 1: So that's how we partner it up and started or 1853 01:43:00,160 --> 01:43:04,800 Speaker 1: Service Records. The group was signed Rough Riders. Just you now, 1854 01:43:04,920 --> 01:43:06,840 Speaker 1: he just signed me as a solo artist like I 1855 01:43:06,960 --> 01:43:09,840 Speaker 1: was in the three man group, signed the Rough Riders group, 1856 01:43:11,760 --> 01:43:14,160 Speaker 1: and that's how we got free from that contract because 1857 01:43:14,479 --> 01:43:17,720 Speaker 1: I signed as a solo artist the Swiss Beats well 1858 01:43:17,800 --> 01:43:21,120 Speaker 1: with Swiss Beats and we started for Surface and then 1859 01:43:21,200 --> 01:43:25,120 Speaker 1: I got the artists there with Jay Records, Clive Davis, 1860 01:43:25,520 --> 01:43:28,320 Speaker 1: and that's how he made that happen. But he went 1861 01:43:28,439 --> 01:43:30,600 Speaker 1: the group, I mean, and at that time I was 1862 01:43:30,680 --> 01:43:34,240 Speaker 1: the one being active battle in going crazy at the time, 1863 01:43:34,520 --> 01:43:37,320 Speaker 1: and I was the youngest, so I guess he found, 1864 01:43:37,439 --> 01:43:40,519 Speaker 1: like I guess he felt like, you know, that was 1865 01:43:40,560 --> 01:43:42,560 Speaker 1: the best direction to go in, so he talked it 1866 01:43:42,640 --> 01:43:45,280 Speaker 1: over with me, and my management at the time was 1867 01:43:45,439 --> 01:43:49,679 Speaker 1: his dad and um I was signed to his uncle's 1868 01:43:50,000 --> 01:43:52,680 Speaker 1: d and WY, So it was easy for me to 1869 01:43:52,720 --> 01:43:55,200 Speaker 1: get out that contract and get in a new situation. 1870 01:43:55,800 --> 01:43:59,000 Speaker 1: And I knew it was probably not gonna be you 1871 01:43:59,080 --> 01:44:01,560 Speaker 1: know what I mean beneficial for us to stay with 1872 01:44:01,680 --> 01:44:03,800 Speaker 1: Rough Riders at that time, because they had so much 1873 01:44:03,880 --> 01:44:07,240 Speaker 1: talent X the locks in dragged, they weren't about so 1874 01:44:07,360 --> 01:44:09,720 Speaker 1: much other situations that we was like last on the 1875 01:44:09,840 --> 01:44:12,400 Speaker 1: list and we didn't even had no budget open. So 1876 01:44:12,520 --> 01:44:14,880 Speaker 1: the best situation for me was to go with Swiss 1877 01:44:14,880 --> 01:44:17,720 Speaker 1: because I was gonna be his only artist. And that's 1878 01:44:17,760 --> 01:44:20,960 Speaker 1: how I didn't and made it happen. I'd really good 1879 01:44:20,960 --> 01:44:25,920 Speaker 1: with Mike, uh, I mean me and Mike, we just 1880 01:44:26,040 --> 01:44:30,200 Speaker 1: competed trying to We actually was in a UM competition 1881 01:44:30,280 --> 01:44:33,080 Speaker 1: together that we I mean, comics were like one big family. 1882 01:44:33,120 --> 01:44:35,519 Speaker 1: Always see each other during open mic night. You know, 1883 01:44:36,040 --> 01:44:38,240 Speaker 1: we've known each other for seeing the beginning of everything. 1884 01:44:39,200 --> 01:44:41,720 Speaker 1: We actually come we just really do get along. We 1885 01:44:41,760 --> 01:44:44,360 Speaker 1: don't know each other, but I mean we we worked together, 1886 01:44:44,560 --> 01:44:47,040 Speaker 1: you know actually the first time, not the first, but 1887 01:44:47,520 --> 01:44:50,320 Speaker 1: one time, UM that she was in a competition that 1888 01:44:50,400 --> 01:44:55,000 Speaker 1: gives him. It was Steve. It was Apollo, an Apollo competition. Yes, 1889 01:44:55,120 --> 01:44:57,519 Speaker 1: me and Mike Epps. And the only reason why he won. 1890 01:44:57,640 --> 01:44:59,840 Speaker 1: The reason why I lost because I went I did. 1891 01:45:00,000 --> 01:45:01,840 Speaker 1: I went over my time. That's what he told me 1892 01:45:01,920 --> 01:45:04,240 Speaker 1: that Mike, you went over your time. That's why you lost. 1893 01:45:04,320 --> 01:45:06,760 Speaker 1: But um, yeah, we go way back, man, inflect your bad. 1894 01:45:07,400 --> 01:45:09,439 Speaker 1: At one point was my road manager. I met him. 1895 01:45:10,280 --> 01:45:12,840 Speaker 1: I made him through Tim Thomas. You know, Tim was 1896 01:45:12,880 --> 01:45:17,320 Speaker 1: my homie, the bast my player. He's from Philio, so uh. 1897 01:45:17,880 --> 01:45:21,080 Speaker 1: He played in Veranova and he signed like eighty min out. 1898 01:45:21,160 --> 01:45:24,800 Speaker 1: You don't wanted one of the first eightymen out with 1899 01:45:24,880 --> 01:45:30,920 Speaker 1: Milwaukee Bucks six NBA countract thirty million dollars shoe deal. Yeah, 1900 01:45:31,560 --> 01:45:33,280 Speaker 1: and then he's working with him. That's how mad I 1901 01:45:33,320 --> 01:45:36,200 Speaker 1: met him. I met him through Tim. Tim was my homie. 1902 01:45:36,560 --> 01:45:38,800 Speaker 1: That's how I met you, right, Tim. Yeah, and then 1903 01:45:38,840 --> 01:45:40,240 Speaker 1: he wanted to rule me for a few times. Being 1904 01:45:40,360 --> 01:45:48,240 Speaker 1: rod managers, he was sucking the bitches. That's all we need. 1905 01:45:48,720 --> 01:46:00,320 Speaker 1: We need ship. I'm an open book, so we can't 1906 01:46:01,640 --> 01:46:05,080 Speaker 1: out there about no, no, no. It was good. They 1907 01:46:05,160 --> 01:46:07,800 Speaker 1: come with the job. We have fun, though the job 1908 01:46:07,960 --> 01:46:15,040 Speaker 1: we think have more fun. Comedians are rappers. Rappers actually good, Yeah, rappers, 1909 01:46:15,120 --> 01:46:17,040 Speaker 1: I think have more. I've been on the rule both 1910 01:46:17,080 --> 01:46:21,000 Speaker 1: more groupies and us. And she said, and she said 1923 01:47:23,920 --> 01:47:28,200 Speaker 1: that Floyd had been watching my Instagram and one day 1924 01:47:28,240 --> 01:47:32,120 Speaker 1: I put up a post that really resonated with him personally. 1925 01:47:32,680 --> 01:47:37,160 Speaker 1: It was about why do some dudes get mad if 1926 01:47:37,200 --> 01:47:38,880 Speaker 1: a chick just don't want to funk with them and 1927 01:47:38,960 --> 01:47:41,280 Speaker 1: want to funk with another dude? And he always looking 1928 01:47:41,320 --> 01:47:43,680 Speaker 1: for explanation and I'm like, Nigga, you just ain't got it. 1929 01:47:43,880 --> 01:47:46,120 Speaker 1: You ain't got that. So he told Keachi, like, yo, I like that, Nick. 1932 01:47:54,000 --> 01:47:56,880 Speaker 1: I want to meet him. And he didn't know she 1933 01:47:57,000 --> 01:48:00,120 Speaker 1: knew me. And when he showed it the post, she 1934 01:48:00,240 --> 01:48:02,400 Speaker 1: was like, that's your bad. He was like, you know him? 1935 01:48:02,520 --> 01:48:04,200 Speaker 1: She's like yeah, he said you like you know him? 1936 01:48:04,240 --> 01:48:07,200 Speaker 1: No him? She said, yeah, I know him. She reached 1937 01:48:07,240 --> 01:48:09,880 Speaker 1: out to me. I flew myself to l A for 1938 01:48:10,000 --> 01:48:11,880 Speaker 1: his party, put myself in the hotel and all that 1939 01:48:12,040 --> 01:48:15,639 Speaker 1: I met him, met him that night. The rest is history. 1940 01:48:16,680 --> 01:48:19,360 Speaker 1: Now that's how floor is, Like, he'll watch you if 1941 01:48:19,360 --> 01:48:21,840 Speaker 1: you funk with you, you watching for a few became 1942 01:48:21,880 --> 01:48:24,720 Speaker 1: a fan, you know, he bent as she came to 1943 01:48:24,760 --> 01:48:27,439 Speaker 1: throw my shows. After that, he's I put it up. 1944 01:48:27,520 --> 01:48:29,720 Speaker 1: I made a post after the last show. He's like man, 1945 01:48:29,760 --> 01:48:31,760 Speaker 1: he said after the show. Became a fan, he said, 1946 01:48:31,800 --> 01:48:33,920 Speaker 1: of following me and next you know, wherever I'm at 1947 01:48:34,040 --> 01:48:36,519 Speaker 1: here abouts and bring his whole crew, you know, and 1948 01:48:36,600 --> 01:48:40,840 Speaker 1: he paid attention, pay attention to everything because and the 1949 01:48:40,920 --> 01:48:43,640 Speaker 1: reason why he's so calculated like that is because when 1950 01:48:43,680 --> 01:48:46,080 Speaker 1: he funk with you, he funk with you. He not 1951 01:48:46,280 --> 01:48:49,559 Speaker 1: no funny style, Like if you notice he don't funk, 1952 01:48:49,720 --> 01:48:52,439 Speaker 1: He don't roll with nobody but his team. Like he 1953 01:48:52,560 --> 01:48:55,599 Speaker 1: cool with rappers and act like he cool with people. 1954 01:48:55,680 --> 01:48:58,680 Speaker 1: But when he decided I want to funk with this 1955 01:48:58,840 --> 01:49:01,519 Speaker 1: person and he bring you win? Is that for life? 1956 01:49:01,720 --> 01:49:05,000 Speaker 1: Like only you can suck that up whatever I thought, 1957 01:49:05,040 --> 01:49:06,439 Speaker 1: that's how he treated the show when he came on 1958 01:49:06,560 --> 01:49:08,640 Speaker 1: the show, Like but that's how he completed. I was 1959 01:49:09,400 --> 01:49:11,599 Speaker 1: with this. I'm with this situation right now. He wouldn't 1960 01:49:11,600 --> 01:49:13,439 Speaker 1: have came if he didn't sunk with it. And trust me, 1961 01:49:13,520 --> 01:49:15,840 Speaker 1: he probably don't watch the hundred episodes of this Ship 1962 01:49:16,439 --> 01:49:19,280 Speaker 1: before he decided. Yeah, I see the other day at 1963 01:49:19,360 --> 01:49:23,519 Speaker 1: his party, and like he said that, you know he 1964 01:49:23,600 --> 01:49:32,280 Speaker 1: really like I was at that, Like like he when 1965 01:49:32,320 --> 01:49:34,160 Speaker 1: he when he want to funk with somebody, like he 1966 01:49:34,240 --> 01:49:38,519 Speaker 1: don't just dive in because you know people. You know, 1967 01:49:38,640 --> 01:49:40,920 Speaker 1: he was disappointed humans, you know what I'm saying. So 1968 01:49:41,040 --> 01:49:44,320 Speaker 1: when he tried to be really meticulous about who he 1969 01:49:44,520 --> 01:49:48,400 Speaker 1: decided to hand pick and funk with, and like, man, 1970 01:49:49,240 --> 01:49:51,120 Speaker 1: he sucked me up, like I ain't gonna hold you, 1971 01:49:51,320 --> 01:49:53,519 Speaker 1: like I'm not gonna get into all the stories. But 1972 01:49:53,680 --> 01:49:58,439 Speaker 1: like he called me. He called me one day in April. 1973 01:49:58,680 --> 01:50:02,000 Speaker 1: I met him in February. I met him in February. 1974 01:50:02,040 --> 01:50:04,240 Speaker 1: Now I told this story. I met him in February. 1975 01:50:04,280 --> 01:50:07,280 Speaker 1: I went to l A. I came back from l 1976 01:50:07,360 --> 01:50:11,599 Speaker 1: A that Monday. That Tuesday, Keachi called me. She said, 1977 01:50:11,640 --> 01:50:15,479 Speaker 1: I told you when Floyd likes somebody, he likes him. 1978 01:50:16,120 --> 01:50:17,759 Speaker 1: She said, No, I don't want to make you nervous, 1979 01:50:18,320 --> 01:50:21,200 Speaker 1: she said, but he told me to ask you for 1980 01:50:21,320 --> 01:50:26,920 Speaker 1: your bank account information. I'm like, he can have it. 1981 01:50:27,000 --> 01:50:39,639 Speaker 1: I know, you know, you know he's not getting ready. 1982 01:50:39,680 --> 01:50:42,719 Speaker 1: Still nothing, so like this couldn't only be going one direction. 1983 01:50:42,920 --> 01:50:47,080 Speaker 1: So it was a Tuesday. Wednesday came and I'm not 1984 01:50:47,280 --> 01:50:50,080 Speaker 1: I don't know what to expect. I don't have no expectations. 1985 01:50:50,120 --> 01:50:51,679 Speaker 1: I'm just like, I don't know where this is going. 1986 01:50:51,880 --> 01:50:54,920 Speaker 1: I just met the man four days ago, and that 1987 01:50:55,160 --> 01:50:59,400 Speaker 1: Thursday he called me. He texted me and he said, 1988 01:51:00,040 --> 01:51:04,120 Speaker 1: check your account in ten minutes, and it was ten 1989 01:51:04,200 --> 01:51:09,000 Speaker 1: thousand in my account. That was February. My birthday was 1990 01:51:09,080 --> 01:51:12,280 Speaker 1: in April. He came to my Ainami. He faced Tommy 1991 01:51:12,560 --> 01:51:15,439 Speaker 1: and he said, Yo, where you where you at? I 1992 01:51:15,479 --> 01:51:18,160 Speaker 1: said him in the house. He said, send me your location, 1993 01:51:19,479 --> 01:51:22,120 Speaker 1: so he said I and I texted them look where 1994 01:51:22,160 --> 01:51:23,840 Speaker 1: I live. He said, I'll be there in ten minutes, 1995 01:51:24,800 --> 01:51:27,200 Speaker 1: and I, um, I got out say it. So I'm 1996 01:51:27,240 --> 01:51:29,360 Speaker 1: looking for like I'm looking for the money team trucks. 1997 01:51:29,400 --> 01:51:32,479 Speaker 1: I'm looking for the Bugatti. I'm looking for some ship. 1998 01:51:32,680 --> 01:51:36,000 Speaker 1: But I don't see no cause. So I see U 1999 01:51:36,600 --> 01:51:39,519 Speaker 1: a suv flashing they lights at me and it's him. 2000 01:51:39,640 --> 01:51:43,400 Speaker 1: He drove just him his man out and and uh 2001 01:51:43,840 --> 01:51:46,920 Speaker 1: in a lady friend. He drove in my crib, told 2002 01:51:46,960 --> 01:51:50,920 Speaker 1: me happy birthday, gave me another tenthoud. Oh no, you'll 2003 01:51:50,960 --> 01:51:54,240 Speaker 1: never see him, you know, he gave me another ten thousand. 2004 01:51:54,320 --> 01:51:56,360 Speaker 1: But when he gave me that ten thousand, he said, listen, 2005 01:51:57,120 --> 01:52:00,240 Speaker 1: He said, what you're doing on social media is needed, 2006 01:52:01,240 --> 01:52:03,400 Speaker 1: he said, And he said, I know you're a man, 2007 01:52:03,520 --> 01:52:05,080 Speaker 1: he said. I know. You don't ask me for nothing, 2008 01:52:05,439 --> 01:52:08,479 Speaker 1: he said, But and I know what your background is, 2009 01:52:08,880 --> 01:52:10,640 Speaker 1: he said. But I don't want you to risk your 2010 01:52:10,720 --> 01:52:12,960 Speaker 1: freedom for money, he said, because we need you on 2011 01:52:13,120 --> 01:52:15,160 Speaker 1: this side of the wall, not the other side of 2012 01:52:15,200 --> 01:52:17,439 Speaker 1: the wall. He said. All that game you got it 2013 01:52:17,520 --> 01:52:19,240 Speaker 1: need to be out here, he said, don't you worry 2014 01:52:19,240 --> 01:52:22,479 Speaker 1: about nothing. I got you for life. You good? Why 2015 01:52:23,439 --> 01:52:27,599 Speaker 1: that's not like to said, let me make this clear. 2016 01:52:27,680 --> 01:52:29,720 Speaker 1: He don't just take care of me. You don't just 2017 01:52:29,880 --> 01:52:33,320 Speaker 1: give every week. But he just wanted to be understood, like, 2018 01:52:33,439 --> 01:52:35,080 Speaker 1: I really funk with you and I got your back. 2019 01:52:35,160 --> 01:52:37,840 Speaker 1: So if you should need me, you understand you gotta 2020 01:52:38,160 --> 01:52:51,360 Speaker 1: support system. But thankfully I don't. UN's fun popular, you know, 2021 01:52:51,760 --> 01:52:54,720 Speaker 1: it's like you know it just you know what it does. 2022 01:52:55,000 --> 01:52:56,920 Speaker 1: It took it took me back to something that my 2023 01:52:57,040 --> 01:53:03,200 Speaker 1: mother taught me, and that was always exude stellar behavior 2024 01:53:03,439 --> 01:53:06,120 Speaker 1: and good character because you never know who watching. Just 2025 01:53:06,240 --> 01:53:09,880 Speaker 1: be great, Just be yourself for you're gonna come because 2026 01:53:09,920 --> 01:53:11,800 Speaker 1: never in a million years, because I have designed that, 2027 01:53:12,439 --> 01:53:14,920 Speaker 1: you know, saying that type of relationship or friendship to 2028 01:53:15,000 --> 01:53:17,080 Speaker 1: this day my man and that's his way of doing 2029 01:53:17,120 --> 01:53:19,320 Speaker 1: philanthropy for lack of a better world. But a lot 2030 01:53:19,400 --> 01:53:21,639 Speaker 1: of people see, people don't know the difference between money 2031 01:53:21,680 --> 01:53:24,960 Speaker 1: made Whether and Floyd. It's two different people. Money made 2032 01:53:24,960 --> 01:53:27,680 Speaker 1: Whether they're supposed to piss people off. Money Mayweather is 2033 01:53:27,720 --> 01:53:29,479 Speaker 1: the one that get under people's scan like that's the 2034 01:53:29,560 --> 01:53:33,200 Speaker 1: one money Maybe Whether made the money. But Floyd, the person, 2035 01:53:33,320 --> 01:53:36,639 Speaker 1: the man, the human, the person that got his own flaws, 2036 01:53:36,760 --> 01:53:39,360 Speaker 1: the man that's human that you don't make mistakes like 2037 01:53:39,439 --> 01:53:43,280 Speaker 1: everybody else make. His mistakes may be different. He's different 2038 01:53:43,320 --> 01:53:46,280 Speaker 1: from money Mayweather. And that's the person that people don't know. 2039 01:53:46,960 --> 01:53:50,400 Speaker 1: And that's the person that gets piste off when people 2040 01:53:50,720 --> 01:53:53,840 Speaker 1: criticize Floyd for what money made, Whether might have did 2041 01:53:53,880 --> 01:53:58,760 Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. It's a difference. So what's 2042 01:53:58,760 --> 01:54:03,479 Speaker 1: the next real quick? May be a city right now? Listen, 2043 01:54:03,760 --> 01:54:07,519 Speaker 1: five as already out here.
