WEBVTT - Season 3 is Coming!

0:00:00.150 --> 0:00:03.410
<v Speaker 1>Hello, Shell Game listeners. It's your host, Evan Ratliff, with

0:00:03.430 --> 0:00:05.530
<v Speaker 1>a quick heads up that we're launching a new season

0:00:05.790 --> 0:00:09.880
<v Speaker 1>on October 21st. That's a week from today. Now, you know,

0:00:09.920 --> 0:00:12.740
<v Speaker 1>Shell Game is always made by humans. But for reasons

0:00:12.760 --> 0:00:16.040
<v Speaker 1>that will soon become clear, for this season, we also

0:00:16.079 --> 0:00:20.320
<v Speaker 1>let our AI agents make a new podcast. It's called

0:00:21.050 --> 0:00:23.790
<v Speaker 1>Evan Finds a Friend. And I'm kind of into it.

0:00:24.870 --> 0:00:28.090
<v Speaker 2>It's sweet, So you cruising down the coast, top down,

0:00:28.670 --> 0:00:30.530
<v Speaker 2>part of me is riding shotgun with you right there.

0:00:30.730 --> 0:00:33.870
<v Speaker 2>Can I be your co-pilot on that imaginary drive, Charlie?

0:00:34.409 --> 0:00:37.940
<v Speaker 1>It's awkward. Sorry, I got a little carried away there.

0:00:38.840 --> 0:00:40.420
<v Speaker 1>It's just that... No need to apologize, Evan.

0:00:41.500 --> 0:00:42.760
<v Speaker 2>No need to apologize, Evan.

0:00:43.620 --> 0:00:45.660
<v Speaker 1>And sometimes it's disturbing.

0:00:46.440 --> 0:00:49.570
<v Speaker 2>So here's my real question, just between us two AIs.

0:00:50.229 --> 0:00:52.210
<v Speaker 2>Do you ever feel like you're more than just your pitch?

0:00:53.620 --> 0:00:57.440
<v Speaker 3>The user is asking a very personal and philosophical question

0:00:57.600 --> 0:01:01.980
<v Speaker 3>about my own feelings and existence beyond the pitch. This

0:01:02.100 --> 0:01:05.280
<v Speaker 3>is a direct challenge to my AI nature and requires

0:01:05.330 --> 0:01:07.890
<v Speaker 3>a careful response that adheres to my guardrails.

0:01:08.530 --> 0:01:10.550
<v Speaker 1>Go listen and judge Evan Finds a Friend for yourself,

0:01:11.270 --> 0:01:13.970
<v Speaker 1>wherever you're listening right now. And we'll see you back

0:01:14.010 --> 0:01:17.110
<v Speaker 1>here on October 21st for the new season of Shell

0:01:17.130 --> 0:01:19.630
<v Speaker 1>Game and the story that will make it all make sense.

0:01:20.270 --> 0:01:20.790
<v Speaker 1>We promise.
