They've 0:03:36.000 --> 0:03:38.760 reached the settlement with us, and they're checking one hundred 0:03:38.800 --> 0:03:40.720 thousand records of people who may or may not be 0:03:40.760 --> 0:03:42.800 citizens and if they're not going to take them off, 0:03:43.200 --> 0:03:45.120 and then fourteen of these states have just told me 0:03:45.160 --> 0:03:47.760 to go pound stand. And so we've sued now a 0:03:47.800 --> 0:03:51.440 total of fourteen states in fifteen lawsuits. I've sued California twice. 0:03:51.480 --> 0:03:53.560 I'd do Orange, Orange County first, and then I seed 0:03:53.560 --> 0:03:56.720 the old state of California. And so right now we're 0:03:56.760 --> 0:04:01.720 litigating the voter rolls or one hundred and fifteen million people, 0:04:02.840 --> 0:04:05.680 and we are marching through the rest of the states 0:04:05.680 --> 0:04:07.520 as well, even as we speak. Now, the measures that we're 0:05:56.960 --> 0:06:02.440 talking about here, and that is voter idea, signature verification, 0:06:03.240 --> 0:06:07.960 updated voter roles for every election, a chain of custody 0:06:08.000 --> 0:06:11.320 for any mail in ballots where they're on camera twenty 0:06:11.360 --> 0:06:13.840 four to seven that any voter if they wanted to, 0:06:14.360 --> 0:06:16.839 they could check and make sure nobody's tampering with those 0:06:16.880 --> 0:06:22.320 mailed in ballots. And also partisan observers in every single 0:06:22.440 --> 0:06:26.080 precinct across the country. That means if there's you know, 0:06:26.240 --> 0:06:30.320 five different parties on the ticket, five different observers would 0:06:30.360 --> 0:06:33.839 be there, but the main two would be Republican Democrat. 0:06:34.440 --> 0:06:37.520 And they get to watch the voting in every precinct 0:06:37.680 --> 0:06:40.400 all day long to make sure no shenanigans go on 0:06:41.320 --> 0:06:44.960 the vote counting all night. They're there and I don't 0:06:44.960 --> 0:06:47.400 mean from a distance of two thousand feet, but they're 0:06:47.400 --> 0:06:50.800 there in the room. They're watching the vote counting, and 0:06:51.160 --> 0:06:54.679 you know, why would anybody be against those measures. Wouldn't 0:06:54.720 --> 0:06:57.600 everybody at the end of the day then have more 0:06:57.640 --> 0:07:01.480 confidence than the results. Wouldn't that lend itself to integrity 0:07:01.520 --> 0:07:02.159 in the system. 0:07:03.200 --> 0:07:05.040 Well, you would think so, Sean. And you know, the 0:07:05.040 --> 0:07:08.560 problem here is a little bit complicated because I administer 0:07:08.640 --> 0:07:12.200 the federal voting rights laws, and Congress can pass more 0:07:12.200 --> 0:07:16.320 of those, but so far they haven't anytime recently. So 0:07:16.440 --> 0:07:19.040 most of the measures that you're talking about are matters 0:07:19.120 --> 0:07:22.080 of state law, and under our constitution, it is the 0:07:22.120 --> 0:07:25.960 state legislatures that passed these laws. Now, Congress could pass 0:07:26.000 --> 0:07:29.920 some laws that apply to federal elections, like voter ID 0:07:30.560 --> 0:07:34.720 like some of these others. They have that for whatever 0:07:34.800 --> 0:07:38.000 various reasons. But when states have such laws, I'll give 0:07:38.000 --> 0:07:40.120 you an example of one that DJ got involved in. 0:07:40.840 --> 0:07:46.440 Wyoming has a voter voter ID and voter citizenship verification 0:07:47.080 --> 0:07:50.360 law and Democrats came in and tried to challenge that, 0:07:50.480 --> 0:07:54.160 and we joined Wyoming's side in that case, and Wyoming's 0:07:54.720 --> 0:07:58.120 law was upheld in federal court. And so that's a 0:07:58.200 --> 0:08:01.800 victory where DJ can have been and help protect the 0:08:01.840 --> 0:08:07.040 state law. We're requesting records from Fulton County Georgia to 0:08:07.120 --> 0:08:10.520 audit what happened in the twenty twenty election, and we're 0:08:10.520 --> 0:08:13.800 doing that in some other places as well. Election monitors. Now, 0:08:14.480 --> 0:08:16.960 part of an election monitors is something that's guaranteed by 0:08:17.120 --> 0:08:20.200 state laws in many states. However, the DOJ can also 0:08:20.240 --> 0:08:23.760 send election monitors were requested. So in this off year election, 0:08:24.280 --> 0:08:27.720 I sent election monitors into some counties in California and 0:08:27.960 --> 0:08:31.240 into some counties in New Jersey. And then there's some 0:08:31.320 --> 0:08:35.800 places where the governor or the Attorney general or Secretary 0:08:35.840 --> 0:08:38.080 of State they didn't want them, or the parties didn't 0:08:38.120 --> 0:08:40.720 request them. So people should know that they can ask 0:08:40.760 --> 0:08:46.160 the DOJ. Parties can Republican or Democrat party or candidates 0:08:46.160 --> 0:08:49.480 can ask the DOJ to send election monitors to a 0:08:49.520 --> 0:08:52.400 tricky jurisdiction or a county and will we will send 0:08:52.440 --> 0:08:54.640 them if we have the manpower, And that's part of 0:08:54.679 --> 0:08:57.960 our part of our job. We also get involved in redistricting. 0:08:58.040 --> 0:09:00.840 So there's just so much activity we on out there. 0:09:01.160 --> 0:09:03.240 It's really just whack them moll all day. Bush ran in two thousand, 0:10:39.559 --> 0:10:42.720 the story broke that he had previously in his life 0:10:42.720 --> 0:10:46.520 had a duy that in my view, had a very 0:10:46.520 --> 0:10:50.640 big impact on that election. But had you voted early, 0:10:50.720 --> 0:10:54.480 you would not have had that knowledge. More recently, we 0:10:54.559 --> 0:10:56.760 had the Laptop from Hell, and by the way, the 0:10:56.840 --> 0:11:02.240 FBI verified its authenticity in March of time, and they 0:11:02.360 --> 0:11:05.920 went about the process of meeting weekly with big tech 0:11:06.000 --> 0:11:11.240 companies and social media companies debunking or pre bunking that 0:11:11.600 --> 0:11:14.720 very real laptop that they knew was real, saying to 0:11:14.800 --> 0:11:18.040 these companies that they may be victims of Russian disinformation, 0:11:18.600 --> 0:11:21.640 but they knew that the story would drop because they 0:11:21.720 --> 0:11:25.840 knew that Bob Costello, who was then Rudy Giuliani's attorney, 0:11:26.360 --> 0:11:28.960 had a copy of that laptop. They knew it would 0:11:28.960 --> 0:11:31.840 be public. It did become public just a couple of 0:11:31.840 --> 0:11:35.960 weeks before the twenty twenty election, and even when asked, 0:11:36.080 --> 0:11:39.240 the FBI, even though they had verified the authenticity of it, 0:11:39.720 --> 0:11:42.839 when asked by people like Jack Dorsey and Mark Zuckerberg 0:11:42.960 --> 0:11:44.760 is it real or not? They wouldn't give them the 0:11:44.840 --> 0:11:48.080 truthful answer. To me, that's putting cinderblocks on an election 0:11:48.200 --> 0:11:52.960 by the deep state. So I ask you, I'm against 0:11:53.040 --> 0:11:56.720 early voting because you don't know what might unfold from 0:11:56.760 --> 0:12:00.640 the time you vote till the actual election day, and 0:12:00.679 --> 0:12:04.160 that could change people's votes. I mean, the federal 0:12:56.040 --> 0:12:59.160 law specifies an election day, not an election month or 0:12:59.160 --> 0:13:02.600 an election quarter, and I think that's a real problem 0:13:02.640 --> 0:13:05.679 because what we've seen in states like California and New 0:13:05.760 --> 0:13:08.680 York is they just keep counting and counting and accepting 0:13:08.720 --> 0:13:10.920 ballots for a week and ten days after the fact 0:13:11.040 --> 0:13:14.439 until you know the election results change. And I think 0:13:14.440 --> 0:13:17.000 that's a real problem. People then think that it's rigged, 0:13:17.040 --> 0:13:18.840 whether it is or not. And so we just have 0:13:18.920 --> 0:13:20.760 to have an endpoint around these elections. If you're too 0:13:20.800 --> 0:13:23.440 disorganized to care enough to get your ballot in, you're 0:13:23.440 --> 0:13:25.240 going to phone it in or mail it in or whatever, 0:13:25.520 --> 0:13:26.840 and you're not going to get it in on time, 0:13:26.880 --> 0:13:29.240 maybe you shouldn't have your vote counted.
