There's a version of that where it's a 0:08:17.520 --> 0:08:19.720 black and white flag and a red line meant to 0:08:19.760 --> 0:08:23.040 support firefighters, and the green line meant to support border 0:08:23.080 --> 0:08:25.400 patrol people and so forth and so on. A lot of these people that 0:14:11.520 --> 0:14:14.120 are arrested in the criminal justice system, a lot of 0:14:14.160 --> 0:14:17.040 them are poor and homeless. And the crazy thing is, 0:14:17.120 --> 0:14:19.760 I put a memea the other day and it says, 0:14:20.480 --> 0:14:22.840 what's the difference between a prisoner of war and a 0:14:22.840 --> 0:14:27.720 homeless person? The answer is, under the Geneva Convention, a 0:14:27.760 --> 0:14:32.640 prisoner of war is entitled to food, shelter, and medical care. 0:14:33.200 --> 0:14:36.800 This person is not. Medical care is critical because a 0:14:36.840 --> 0:14:40.840 lot of homeless people are not medicated or self medicating, 0:14:41.120 --> 0:14:43.240 on and on and on. All five Mississippi deputy sheriffs who responded to 0:15:27.880 --> 0:15:31.400 an incident in which two black men accused the deputies 0:15:31.440 --> 0:15:34.480 of beating and sexually assaulting them before shooting one of 0:15:34.520 --> 0:15:38.240 them in the mouth have been fired or resigned, authorities 0:15:38.280 --> 0:15:44.480 announced tuesday. Now, real quick, I want to make sure 0:15:44.480 --> 0:15:46.320 that when I say shooting in the mouth, I want 0:15:46.400 --> 0:15:49.360 you to know that this wasn't a shooting from across 0:15:49.360 --> 0:15:52.400 the room because the officer was quote unquote scared and 0:15:52.440 --> 0:15:54.200 the bullet happened to hit him in the mouth. The announcement comes months after Michael Corey Jenkins 0:16:07.640 --> 0:16:10.520 and his friend Eddie Terrell Parker said deputies from the 0:16:10.600 --> 0:16:13.920 rankin Sheriff's County department burst into a home without a warrant. 0:16:14.840 --> 0:16:17.960 The men said deputies beat them, assaulted them with a 0:16:18.040 --> 0:16:22.000 sex toy, and shocked them repeatedly with tasers in a 0:16:22.080 --> 0:16:26.480 roughly ninety minute period.
