He was 0:01:39.040 --> 0:01:43.120 shot down by ICE officers who were driving in unmarked 0:01:43.280 --> 0:01:47.520 SUVs at a traffic stop. They were looking for someone else, 0:01:47.760 --> 0:01:50.880 so they had the wrong person, but they pulled his 0:01:50.960 --> 0:01:55.360 car over. Ice officers claim he tried to ram his 0:01:55.560 --> 0:02:00.320 car at them, but witnesses say this is a lie, 0:02:00.760 --> 0:02:03.680 and there is video from the street that proves this 0:02:03.760 --> 0:02:08.480 is a lie. His mom, Rachel Reyes, described him 0:09:58.080 --> 0:10:04.479 as shy, laid back, humble, kind and adventurous. On March fifteenth, 0:10:04.600 --> 0:10:08.760 twenty twenty five, he was pulled over by Homeland Security 0:10:08.800 --> 0:10:12.800 investigations while he was driving by a crash scene on 0:10:12.960 --> 0:10:17.720 South Padro Island, Texas. He was shot and killed. She had just dropped off her six year 0:10:26.920 --> 0:10:30.600 old son at school. Her car was parked sideways in 0:10:30.679 --> 0:10:35.000 a residential street in Minneapolis. She motioned unmarked ICE vehicles 0:10:35.040 --> 0:10:38.040 to pass. She was part of the community's Whistle network, 0:10:38.400 --> 0:10:41.640 a response to that week's ice surge in the city. 0:10:42.400 --> 0:10:46.760 An ICE agent approached her on foot circled her SUV 0:10:47.360 --> 0:10:49.960 while another ICE agent ordered her to get out of 0:10:49.960 --> 0:10:54.120 the car.
