A lot of the young men are fathers, 0:23:59.680 --> 0:24:02.639 getting them support for what they naturally want to do, 0:24:02.680 --> 0:24:04.560 which is parent their children, but may not have the 0:24:04.680 --> 0:24:07.320 skills or the resources. We focused on what to do 0:24:07.440 --> 0:24:10.840 around housing and it just wrap around and we ended 0:24:10.920 --> 0:24:13.239 up as a result of doing that and then when 0:24:13.240 --> 0:24:16.200 they would graduate the program, dismiss their charges. But what 0:24:16.359 --> 0:24:19.040 we also ended up doing is reducing their likelihood of 0:24:19.119 --> 0:24:23.600 reoffending by a huge percentage. And that was a model 0:24:23.720 --> 0:24:26.960 of what ended up later by the Justice Department being 0:24:27.000 --> 0:24:30.359 designated as a model of innovation and law enforcement in 0:24:30.400 --> 0:24:32.440 the country. What do we do with so many with 0:24:32.680 --> 0:24:35.240 drugs being legalized as the say, marijuana being legalized in 0:24:35.320 --> 0:24:37.080 so many different states, and a lot of these kids, 0:24:37.160 --> 0:24:40.639 like you said, are in jail for that same legalized crime. 0:24:40.720 --> 0:24:45.200 Now we need to decriminalize marijuana.
