It's one of those multi layered, almost 0:00:48.760 --> 0:00:53.199 onion situations that you can't just take a week approach 0:00:53.240 --> 0:00:55.800 and expect it to go away. It's only going to 0:00:56.000 --> 0:00:58.840 stick a band aid on a very big problem. And so one of the 0:01:46.640 --> 0:01:49.960 organizations that was a veteran nonprofit that I came across 0:01:50.640 --> 0:01:55.680 was a counter trafficking organization that dealt was specifically rescuing 0:01:55.760 --> 0:01:59.480 children and had a large focus along the US Mexico 0:01:59.560 --> 0:02:02.840 border and to help setting up sting operations, working with 0:02:02.880 --> 0:02:05.560 local law enforcement to get these children out of the 0:02:05.640 --> 0:02:10.919 hands of their traffickers. Now I say this and very naively, 0:02:11.560 --> 0:02:14.520 I had no idea that this was a problem. I think, 0:02:14.560 --> 0:02:17.760 like many Americans, just because we don't see it happening 0:02:17.840 --> 0:02:19.880 right in front of us. It's never one of those 0:02:19.919 --> 0:02:23.160 things that I even think that the news really talks about, 0:02:23.200 --> 0:02:25.600 and they should be. They should be addressing this issue 0:02:25.600 --> 0:02:29.799 because human trafficking is essentially modern day slavery, and it's 0:02:29.840 --> 0:02:32.880 happening all around us and right underneath our noses. And I remember seeing this number eighteen thousand, 0:03:57.520 --> 0:03:59.480 and You're like, what is that eighteen thousand dollars? What 0:03:59.600 --> 0:04:03.640 is eighteen thousand thou is a number of women annually 0:04:03.880 --> 0:04:07.520 that are trafficked on estimation? Okay, this is just a 0:04:07.560 --> 0:04:10.240 slight estimate of how many women are traffic annially along 0:04:10.240 --> 0:04:13.960 the US Mexico border. That's not including women and children. 0:04:14.480 --> 0:04:17.600 So the more I'm going into this, I am googling 0:04:17.720 --> 0:04:20.560 articles and one of the articles that really stuck with 0:04:20.640 --> 0:04:24.480 me was an article by CNN. And so the article 0:04:24.560 --> 0:04:29.159 was published actually November, and I'm telling you that date 0:04:29.240 --> 0:04:32.159 because it's important for this story for you to understand 0:04:32.400 --> 0:04:36.240 what's happening in our national media with propaganda. So I 0:04:36.320 --> 0:04:41.120 read this article about a woman named Carla Jassin though okay, 0:04:41.680 --> 0:04:43.359 if you want to read it later, it's k A 0:04:43.600 --> 0:04:46.560 R L A and then J A C I N 0:04:46.640 --> 0:04:50.600 T O and CNN wrote an article about her because 0:04:50.800 --> 0:04:54.920 she was rescued from a trafficking situation and from the 0:04:54.960 --> 0:04:57.039 time that she was traffic to the time that she 0:04:57.200 --> 0:05:02.480 was rescued, she was raped thousand, two hundred times. Now 0:05:02.760 --> 0:05:07.000 you see that number and you realize that that is 0:05:07.040 --> 0:05:10.680 not a made up number, and it's a lot to stomach. 0:05:10.720 --> 0:05:14.760 And I apologize if some of you maybe might think 0:05:14.800 --> 0:05:18.599 that this is too heavy, because I think that everyone 0:05:18.640 --> 0:05:21.799 should know this story. And you see this young girl 0:05:21.839 --> 0:05:23.960 and you realize that she was trafficked from the time 0:05:23.960 --> 0:05:27.240 that she was probably thirteen fourteen years old to the 0:05:27.240 --> 0:05:30.960 time that she was twenty one maybe, and that during 0:05:31.000 --> 0:05:33.919 that time that happened. And so I posted this to 0:05:34.040 --> 0:05:37.560 social media, and going back to why social media is 0:05:37.600 --> 0:05:41.240 so important, that's the best way that people learn is 0:05:41.320 --> 0:05:45.000 by peer to peer interaction and sharing information. So I 0:06:41.400 --> 0:06:43.800 realized all of this stuff. I'm still on track to 0:06:43.800 --> 0:06:47.080 go to medical school. And at this point, I had the news 0:07:12.640 --> 0:07:16.560 on and I was actually listening to CNN, and as 0:07:16.600 --> 0:07:19.760 I'm just focusing on what I'm writing, I keyed into 0:07:19.880 --> 0:07:24.000 some key things that the commentator was talking about, and 0:07:24.080 --> 0:07:28.280 they were talking about what was happening at the US 0:07:28.360 --> 0:07:31.720 Mexico Boarder. They're talking about this train that had been 0:07:31.760 --> 0:07:35.600 stopped in Mexico City by the federal police, and that 0:07:35.760 --> 0:07:38.360 the federal police had stopped this train and discovered that 0:07:38.400 --> 0:07:40.840 there was a ton I'm talking about a ton of 0:07:40.840 --> 0:07:44.520 women and children, and that among these women and children 0:07:44.680 --> 0:07:47.760 were MS thirteen and for those that might not know, 0:07:47.920 --> 0:07:51.120 m S thrtinas m S thirteen as a cartel. And 0:07:51.200 --> 0:07:54.679 so the federal police end up stopping this train and 0:07:54.920 --> 0:07:57.120 they don't want to let it proceed forward. It was 0:07:57.200 --> 0:08:01.040 inbound to the United States for obvious reasons. You're never 0:08:01.080 --> 0:08:05.520 ever going to see women and children with hardened criminals. 0:08:05.520 --> 0:08:08.200 That's not even normal from what I know on trafficking. 0:08:08.480 --> 0:08:11.920 That is literally the startup to how they run these 0:08:11.960 --> 0:08:15.760 people into this country. Okay, 0:08:43.600 --> 0:08:47.720 so watching this segment, I know all this information, and 0:08:48.040 --> 0:08:53.520 the reporter says, here at CNN, we believe everyone has 0:08:53.679 --> 0:08:58.400 a chance and deserves a right to enter this country. 0:08:58.880 --> 0:09:03.280 And so to my understanding, it was either the network 0:09:03.400 --> 0:09:05.439 or people at the network, but they put together money 0:09:05.480 --> 0:09:09.200 to bring these people to the United States, had a 0:09:09.280 --> 0:09:13.679 camera crew on it, and filmed border patrol essentially turning 0:09:13.720 --> 0:09:17.560 these people away. And the segment ended with at the time, 0:09:17.640 --> 0:09:21.280 it was candidate Trump. Candidate Trump, this Trump person has 0:09:21.320 --> 0:09:24.880 these very anti immigration policies and is xenophobic and this 0:09:24.920 --> 0:09:28.920 isn't right and we believe that American deserves better. Here CNN, 0:09:28.960 --> 0:09:30.679 and then they cut the segment and it I think 0:09:30.720 --> 0:09:34.240 it went to a pillow commercial, and I remember just 0:09:34.840 --> 0:09:38.360 like sitting there and it all hit me at once, 0:09:38.800 --> 0:09:41.080 the people that were being trafficked, because there's no doubt 0:09:41.080 --> 0:09:44.280 in my mind that that's what was happening. They were 0:09:44.320 --> 0:09:46.840 talking about what happens with the human trafficking, they were 0:09:46.880 --> 0:09:49.000 talking about the fact that these are young women and children. 0:09:49.040 --> 0:09:51.000 Are they related, are they mothers? Are they told what 0:09:51.160 --> 0:09:54.040 is happening? And then they didn't want to talk about 0:09:54.080 --> 0:09:57.080 the fact that there was a cartel. They simply wanted 0:09:57.120 --> 0:10:01.800 to make it about politics. And I saw this, and 0:10:01.880 --> 0:10:06.959 I remember feeling so disgusted, and I remember feeling so angry. 0:10:07.000 --> 0:10:10.400 I'm not the type of person that's anti immigrant. I'm 0:10:10.400 --> 0:10:13.120 not the type of person that's xenophobic. Here I am 0:10:13.360 --> 0:10:17.640 basically half Hispanic, having grandparents that are immigrants, having multiple 0:10:17.720 --> 0:10:21.200 family members that are from Mexico, and yet I know 0:10:21.240 --> 0:10:23.400 about the trafficking. And part of the reason why I 0:10:23.440 --> 0:10:27.000 agree with legal immigration is because I don't want people 0:10:27.080 --> 0:10:30.480 to get hurt, because it's a very bad world out there, 0:10:30.559 --> 0:10:34.760 and it's naive to think otherwise. And so I see 0:10:34.760 --> 0:10:39.280 all those I film a moment, right, and and then 0:10:39.280 --> 0:10:42.640 I realized it's propaganda and just give you the idea 0:10:42.720 --> 0:10:46.679 of what propaganda is. According to the Merriam Webster definition, 0:10:46.920 --> 0:10:50.920 it's the spreading of ideas or information or rumor for 0:10:51.000 --> 0:10:54.200 the purpose of helping or injuring an institution, a cause, 0:10:54.320 --> 0:10:59.880 or person, ideas, facts, or allegations to deliberately spread in 0:11:00.000 --> 0:11:03.480 information to further once cause or damage an opposing cause. 0:11:03.559 --> 0:11:06.720 And that is what the network was doing. And ironically enough, 0:11:07.480 --> 0:11:11.040 having known that years ago and having that own intuition, 0:11:11.280 --> 0:11:14.280 and I think just being educated on the topics of 0:11:14.280 --> 0:11:17.440 what was happening at the border, not only did I 0:11:17.520 --> 0:11:21.160 assume that, but I apparently assumed right, because only a 0:11:21.200 --> 0:11:24.720 few days ago, in April thirteen, the Project Veritas actually 0:11:24.800 --> 0:11:28.920 just broke a story where they have undercover footage of 0:11:28.960 --> 0:11:33.520 the head Hauncho at CNN admitting that propaganda is used 0:11:33.679 --> 0:11:37.960 at the network against conservatives and people that threatened the 0:11:38.040 --> 0:11:43.240 d n C and their ideologies. Guys, this is a 0:11:43.360 --> 0:11:47.520 huge problem in the United States, the fact that networks 0:11:47.600 --> 0:11:51.440 would knowingly bury information or lie to the American people 0:11:51.960 --> 0:11:57.080 in order to manipulate entire demographics based on their race, 0:11:57.320 --> 0:12:02.679 based on their cultural ethnicity, to get voting blocks so 0:12:02.720 --> 0:12:07.000 that they can have total power and control after you 0:12:07.160 --> 0:12:10.439 realize that you cannot go back to the way that 0:12:10.480 --> 0:12:14.280 you once were. I knew that I could no longer 0:12:14.400 --> 0:12:17.600 stay silent, and that is why I started using my 0:12:17.679 --> 0:12:21.880 social media to make that voice and information heard because 0:12:21.920 --> 0:12:24.840 there was no one like me. There was no one 0:12:25.080 --> 0:12:29.559 from the Hispanic American demographic that was targeting to wake 0:12:29.640 --> 0:12:33.439 the American people up and wake up a demographic that 0:12:33.520 --> 0:12:37.880 had been lied to. Human trafficking, drug running, the real 0:12:47.960 --> 0:12:51.679 life version of Cicario, that movie. It's all happening and 0:12:51.720 --> 0:12:55.240 it's infuriating. But I think the worst part about all 0:12:55.280 --> 0:13:01.280 of this is knowing that establishment elected official and Democrats 0:13:01.400 --> 0:13:05.080 especially know these numbers. They know these facts. It's not 0:13:05.160 --> 0:13:07.680 like they're not sitting in briefings from the State Department 0:13:07.679 --> 0:13:11.240 and the Department of Homeland Security. And I 0:13:45.960 --> 0:13:48.400 do remember reading some of these numbers and I'm not 0:13:48.440 --> 0:13:52.400 gonna lie. I cried. It's it's horrifying. Ambassador Callistic ing 0:13:52.480 --> 0:13:54.959 Rich actually wrote a paper on human trafficking at the 0:13:55.000 --> 0:13:59.280 southern border. You can read that paper on Gingridge through sixty. 0:13:59.320 --> 0:14:03.680 But they ended up formatting that human trafficking stats happening 0:14:04.160 --> 0:14:07.920 at the border only get worse when you have open 0:14:08.000 --> 0:14:11.000 border policies. And so this is where I tell people 0:14:11.040 --> 0:14:15.120 that this is not a political issue. Okay, they try 0:14:15.120 --> 0:14:17.960 to make it one, but really what we're looking at 0:14:18.240 --> 0:14:22.360 is are you for or are you against human slavery? 0:14:22.560 --> 0:14:24.840 And the reason I put it in those terms is 0:14:24.880 --> 0:14:27.840 because the United States prides itself off of being a 0:14:27.840 --> 0:14:31.560 country that quote unquote abolished slavery years ago, and the 0:14:31.640 --> 0:14:34.920 whole slavery topic is used on a regular basis, I 0:14:34.960 --> 0:14:37.760 think against black Americans, right, they don't want to let 0:14:37.800 --> 0:14:41.120 America move forward from it, so they selectively cherry pick 0:14:41.200 --> 0:14:45.080 this information, but they don't talk about what's happening in 0:14:45.120 --> 0:14:49.000 the Hispanic demographic with the slavery that's really impacting our 0:14:49.080 --> 0:14:52.800 community and people like us coming and trying to come 0:14:52.840 --> 0:14:56.160 here into the United States, or sometimes that are being trafficked, 0:14:56.160 --> 0:15:00.280 whether it's for labor or sexual purposes. So to get 0:15:00.280 --> 0:15:05.240 into some of these numbers of human trafficking, journeys are 0:15:05.280 --> 0:15:09.480 made through official border control points worldwide. That means that's 0:15:09.520 --> 0:15:13.960 happening even at our entry control points. So if that's 0:15:13.960 --> 0:15:17.440 happening there, imagine an open sector of the border without 0:15:17.520 --> 0:15:21.200 any officials. I've been down to the border multiple times, 0:15:24.560 --> 0:15:26.520 and I can tell you that one of the most 0:15:26.560 --> 0:15:30.040 horrifying things to realize is that at some points on 0:15:30.080 --> 0:15:33.280 the border, if there is even any wall or fencing 0:15:33.360 --> 0:15:36.520 or anything, there's parts that you literally might have a 0:15:36.600 --> 0:15:39.840 string of rusty barbed wire that maybe might be about 0:15:39.920 --> 0:15:42.600 knee high, and then it breaks off and you can 0:15:42.600 --> 0:15:45.840 see these open corridors that are used on a regular 0:15:45.880 --> 0:15:49.640 basis by coyotes. You'll see children's shoes, you see. They 0:15:49.760 --> 0:15:52.960 what they'll do is they'll spray paint these black gallon 0:15:53.040 --> 0:15:55.440 of water jugs. But the thing is is that it 0:15:55.520 --> 0:15:58.320 gets so dangerous and so hot in that open sector 0:15:58.320 --> 0:16:00.640 of the border that I know you the Arizona and 0:16:00.640 --> 0:16:04.360 Border Patrol off officials have posted that the numbers of 0:16:04.560 --> 0:16:08.120 bodies and bones that they find that litter the desert 0:16:08.240 --> 0:16:11.560 into those open sectors number in the thousands. So it's 0:16:11.600 --> 0:16:13.960 not like these people are coming here easily, nor should 0:16:13.960 --> 0:16:16.160 they write like, I don't agree with illegal immigration, but 0:16:16.200 --> 0:16:18.760 you have to think about the impact that it's happening 0:16:18.960 --> 0:16:22.040 with these people who are also probably lied to that 0:16:22.160 --> 0:16:25.000 they are essentially dying in the process of coming here, 0:16:25.160 --> 0:16:27.480 whether they're being forced, who are being lied to about 0:16:27.560 --> 0:16:30.200 the American dream that they'll have access to. In a 0:16:30.320 --> 0:16:33.520 story from the New York Post, according to US Immigrations 0:16:33.520 --> 0:16:37.200 and Customs, moving human beings as cargo pays into the 0:16:37.200 --> 0:16:41.280 billions of dollars for transnational criminal smuggling organizations.
