He really spoke no English, so 1:08:19.600 --> 1:08:23.160 he learned English. The got certified to be a nursing 1:08:23.200 --> 1:08:27.360 assistant and started working with the elderly in two thousand. Allegedly, 1:08:27.560 --> 1:08:30.080 he was known to go the extra mile for patients, 1:08:30.120 --> 1:08:32.960 get to know them, get to know their families. There, an eighty nine year 1:10:31.160 --> 1:10:34.200 old woman with dementia claimed that Gomez assaulted her. At 1:10:34.200 --> 1:10:37.360 another facility, a woman also accused Gomez, but then later recanted, 1:10:37.400 --> 1:10:40.040 saying she was confused, but I'm sure she was telling 1:10:40.120 --> 1:10:42.719 the truth. A guy 1:12:07.000 --> 1:12:09.439 named Joel Maldonado was working in Port Orange, Florida, was 1:12:09.479 --> 1:12:13.000 accused of assaulting three residents, including a one hundred year 1:12:13.120 --> 1:12:17.880 old Alzheimer's patient.
