And that's coming from somebody who kind of 0:01:05.457 --> 0:01:08.857 studied insurrections and coups in the intelligence world, so I 0:01:08.857 --> 0:01:11.537 have some sense of what an insurrection looks like. They were trying to open doors for him, 0:07:15.657 --> 0:07:18.377 they were walking next to him. They weren't doing anything. 0:07:18.377 --> 0:07:20.417 They even try to verbally tell him, hey, hey, dude, 0:07:20.457 --> 0:07:22.657 you can't be in here, let alone restraining him or 0:07:22.697 --> 0:07:25.497 being more forceful. They were very casual. Their demeanor was 0:07:25.617 --> 0:07:29.097 very unthreatened. I thought to myself, was this video footage 0:07:29.217 --> 0:07:31.857 used during his trial, because he's in prison right now. 0:07:31.857 --> 0:07:34.697 He was sentenced to four years in prison. I'm not sure how he could have 0:07:41.817 --> 0:07:46.377 been convicted given this evidence, especially when he said he said, listen, 0:07:46.417 --> 0:07:48.377 I didn't realize that I wasn't supposed to be in 0:07:48.417 --> 0:07:50.857 there because police officers were opening doors for me. How 0:07:50.857 --> 0:07:53.137 can you sendence a man to four years in prison, 0:07:53.497 --> 0:07:56.537 make him the face of this so called deadly insurrection 0:07:56.577 --> 0:07:59.217 that wasn't deadly and wasn't an insurrection when this video 0:07:59.217 --> 0:08:04.417 footage exists. Yeah, there are people, you know MSNBC host 0:08:04.537 --> 0:08:09.057 or analysts or I guess analysts, you know commentators. Steve Schmidt, 0:08:09.137 --> 0:08:12.097 as you may recall, all said we should shoot people 0:08:12.217 --> 0:08:15.857 like like Chansley, and I mean, not only is that horrific, 0:08:15.937 --> 0:08:19.377 but but also when you think about how at Ashley 0:08:19.417 --> 0:08:22.217 Babbitt was shot, I mean that woman was murdered, and 0:08:22.377 --> 0:08:25.497 they made it. They made it go away effectively from 0:08:25.497 --> 0:08:28.137 illegal from the legal side of things, the system made 0:08:28.177 --> 0:08:31.937 it go away. So, ladies, 0:10:29.497 --> 0:10:34.777 tell everybody about this story. Out of the elementary school 0:10:34.817 --> 0:10:37.737 in Ohio. Tell everybody what happened. I grew up in the suburbs of Cincinnati, Ohio, 0:10:42.377 --> 0:10:45.697 and at an elementary school in Springfield, Ohio. This elementary 0:10:45.697 --> 0:10:48.057 school is called Kenwood Elementary School. People in Ohio are 0:10:48.057 --> 0:10:51.097 probably gonna be familiar with this. There was video footage 0:10:51.177 --> 0:10:56.697 that was requested based on based on anecdotal reporting, video 0:10:56.977 --> 0:11:00.537 footage that was requested by the local affiliate that showed 0:11:00.777 --> 0:11:03.777 several black students at this school. Keep in mind the 0:11:03.777 --> 0:11:06.057 background of the story is it is an elementary school, 0:11:06.217 --> 0:11:09.377 meaning this is not seventeen and eighteen year old thugs 0:11:09.417 --> 0:11:12.097 who are still in high school. These are small children. 0:11:12.537 --> 0:11:15.217 Several black students at this elementary school were caught on 0:11:15.297 --> 0:11:20.777 camera taking white students on the playground outside, physically assaulting them, 0:11:20.817 --> 0:11:22.697 throwing them to the ground and punching them in the head, 0:11:23.057 --> 0:11:26.457 making them kneel, and then pledge allegiance to black lives matter, 0:11:26.577 --> 0:11:29.937 saying those words black lives matter. The videos of this 0:11:29.977 --> 0:11:32.897 are obviously horrible. There is not audio, but you can 0:11:33.057 --> 0:11:36.177 plainly see what's going on here. Thankfully, police are pressing 0:11:36.257 --> 0:11:39.137 charges here. And when I saw this, I thought, probably 0:11:39.257 --> 0:11:41.017 the same as everyone else thought. I thought, well, this 0:11:41.137 --> 0:11:44.617 is truly horrendous. It's so despicable to think of this 0:11:44.657 --> 0:11:47.697 happening to children. But my first thought was, it's shocking 0:11:47.737 --> 0:11:50.497 to me that this kind of violence happens in an 0:11:50.497 --> 0:11:52.337 elementary school. It seems to me that you know, I'm 0:11:52.377 --> 0:11:54.377 not to date myself, not to sound too old here, 0:11:54.617 --> 0:11:56.737 but it seems to me that when we would hurt 0:11:56.777 --> 0:12:00.217 hear stories back from my day about violence in school, 0:12:00.257 --> 0:12:04.097 it usually was in schools in the inner city. It 0:12:04.137 --> 0:12:06.097 was usually in lower income areas where there was a 0:12:06.417 --> 0:12:09.377 higher crime rate, and it was usually sixteen, seventeen, eighteen 0:12:09.457 --> 0:12:12.217 year old men who were committing the violence in this school. 0:12:12.217 --> 0:12:13.617 And I thought, why is this happening out of an 0:12:13.617 --> 0:12:17.137 elementary school? So I ponder this. I watch this video 0:12:17.137 --> 0:12:19.337 about one hundred times, and I think to myself, you 0:12:19.377 --> 0:12:22.297 know what the conservative movement, including myself may a culpa here, 0:12:22.617 --> 0:12:26.257 has missed, as we've missed the manifestation of critical race 0:12:26.297 --> 0:12:28.777 theory when it comes to black students. Right, So we 0:12:28.817 --> 0:12:31.417 constantly talk about critical race theory in our schools and country. 0:12:31.577 --> 0:12:34.697 How it's this poisonous ideology that tells white children that 0:12:34.737 --> 0:12:37.057 they're inherently racist based on the color of their skin, 0:12:37.337 --> 0:12:39.657 not based on their thoughts or their actions, but just 0:12:39.697 --> 0:12:41.817 based on the fact that they're whites, and therefore they're 0:12:41.857 --> 0:12:44.697 enjoying privileges that have been built on the shoulders of 0:12:44.697 --> 0:12:47.817 white supremacy before them. This ridiculous notion. And we tell 0:12:47.897 --> 0:12:50.857 black children through critical race theory that they are fundamentally 0:12:50.857 --> 0:12:54.937 oppressed and victimized, but buck so often we focus on 0:12:55.257 --> 0:12:58.737 the false accusation that's levied against the white children. That 0:12:58.777 --> 0:13:01.097 they're told that they're racist, they're told they're evil, they're 0:13:01.137 --> 0:13:03.377 told they're irredeemable, there's nothing they can do about this. 0:13:03.777 --> 0:13:07.177 But we forget the impact that this has on black children. 0:13:07.377 --> 0:13:10.417 That black children are being told through schools by teachers 0:13:10.457 --> 0:13:13.377 as if it's truth, that they're less, they're being told 0:13:13.417 --> 0:13:16.697 that they're victims, they're being told that they're they're being 0:13:16.737 --> 0:13:19.377 demeaned on this cultural level based on the color of 0:13:19.417 --> 0:13:21.777 their skin. And this is the outgrowth of that. The 0:13:21.777 --> 0:13:25.817 outgrowth of that is a almost racial revolution where black 0:13:25.897 --> 0:13:30.417 children assault white children in the name of Black Lives Matter, which, 0:13:30.457 --> 0:13:34.217 as we know, is an organization built on critical race theory. 0:13:34.417 --> 0:13:37.457 If we as conservatives don't recognize this, we're going to 0:13:37.537 --> 0:13:40.217 start seeing this pop up not just in schools but 0:13:40.257 --> 0:13:43.497 in our culture all across the country. What do you 0:13:43.537 --> 0:13:46.697 think can be done in response to this? I mean, 0:13:46.817 --> 0:13:51.137 is this an all of the above effort from parents, 0:13:52.177 --> 0:13:58.377 to teachers, to administrators rethinking the obviously getting rid of 0:13:58.377 --> 0:14:01.857 CRT in schools, But you know, how do we address this? 0:14:01.897 --> 0:14:04.177 I just feel like for so many parents out there, 0:14:04.217 --> 0:14:06.457 I mean, I'm not a parent yet, but there's this 0:14:06.537 --> 0:14:09.857 sense of Okay, so these things are happening. Kids are 0:14:09.857 --> 0:14:11.657 being told this. White kids are being told this. Black 0:14:11.737 --> 0:14:13.897 kids are being told this. You know, they're different, different 0:14:13.977 --> 0:14:18.137 narratives about how they're supposed to think about each other 0:14:18.257 --> 0:14:21.657 and about race relations in America. And it's poisonous stuff. 0:14:22.377 --> 0:14:24.497 So how do we change that? Like? What is what 0:14:24.657 --> 0:14:27.657 is changing that actually look like?
