And I said that over four weeks ago, 0:02:13.240 --> 0:02:15.160 which um, you know, up until even just a week 0:02:15.240 --> 0:02:18.560 or two ago, people thought they weren't um although the 0:02:18.560 --> 0:02:20.320 Biden ad men has been saying they were going to 0:02:20.360 --> 0:02:24.359 invade next Wednesday, next Thursday, they were going to invade UM. 0:02:24.360 --> 0:02:27.000 The problem is that nobody trust the government anymore. You 0:02:27.080 --> 0:02:30.639 kind of have this uh, this boy who cried wolf syndrome, 0:02:31.000 --> 0:02:32.720 and we just don't know who to believe anymore. UM. So we saw that. Not just bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, 0:05:29.400 --> 0:05:33.640 but most of the assets, the stock markets, UM, et cetera. Now, 0:05:33.680 --> 0:05:36.440 what's important to understand about this is it's not always 0:05:36.440 --> 0:05:38.839 what happens in the market is what it's what comes next. 0:05:39.200 --> 0:05:41.799 So what happens is as wars breaking out, that leads 0:05:41.800 --> 0:05:47.200 to a lot of uncertainty. What's gonna happen. We don't know, right, 0:05:48.040 --> 0:05:51.520 it's uncertainty. I don't know what's gonna happen. And so 0:05:51.600 --> 0:05:54.400 what happens is UM people start trying to make moves 0:05:54.480 --> 0:05:57.880 based off of that. But the markets, the markets are 0:05:57.880 --> 0:06:01.599 called discounting mechanisms, so that means at UM people are 0:06:02.000 --> 0:06:05.040 discounting the future. So I'm making a move based off 0:06:05.080 --> 0:06:07.200 of what I think in the future. So I'm buying 0:06:07.240 --> 0:06:09.680 this stock or this cryptocurrency because i think it's worth 0:06:09.839 --> 0:06:11.400 more in the future. I'm gonna short because I think 0:06:11.400 --> 0:06:13.880 it's worth less in the future, or something like that. UM. 0:06:13.920 --> 0:06:16.479 And so what happens is when you see things happening 0:06:16.480 --> 0:06:19.840 in the market. That means they're pricing things in. Um, 0:06:19.920 --> 0:06:24.440 So when the market started crashing, the markets were already 0:06:24.440 --> 0:06:26.640 pricing that in. By the time it happens, it's kind 0:06:26.640 --> 0:06:29.200 of too late. But um what a lot of people 0:06:29.279 --> 0:06:34.000 aren't really grasping is that typically, what we've seen throughout 0:06:34.040 --> 0:06:37.800 history is that markets actually tend to bottom when the 0:06:37.880 --> 0:06:43.120 invasion begins, and then it punishes the consensus view on 0:06:43.160 --> 0:06:46.240 the market, so it bottoms when the invasion begins. So 0:06:46.279 --> 0:06:50.320 the invasion started and bitcoin and cryptocurrencies and all the 0:06:50.360 --> 0:06:53.520 markets started crashing. Now we can look back and we 0:06:53.560 --> 0:06:56.280 can see a chart of this happening in the Vietnam War. 0:06:56.920 --> 0:06:58.919 We can see it happening in the Goal for we 0:06:58.920 --> 0:07:01.480 can see it happened in the Aghanistan War. We can 0:07:01.520 --> 0:07:03.200 see it in the Iraq War. We can see it 0:07:03.200 --> 0:07:06.640 in the Crimean War, which was the time when last 0:07:06.640 --> 0:07:09.320 time when Russia invaded Ukraine. And we can see that 0:07:09.400 --> 0:07:13.560 there's this bottoming moment every time the invasion happens, and 0:07:13.640 --> 0:07:17.160 then the markets rally. And so what's been happening is 0:07:17.200 --> 0:07:20.440 the last couple of weeks people have been rotating out 0:07:20.960 --> 0:07:24.680 of risk and they're moving in to more safe havens 0:07:24.680 --> 0:07:26.960 and value, which is why gold has been pumping and 0:07:27.000 --> 0:07:30.360 bit woin has been going down things like that. However, 0:07:30.440 --> 0:07:32.440 it's kind of like this, uh you might have heard 0:07:32.480 --> 0:07:37.240 and investing it's uh, by the news right by the 0:07:37.280 --> 0:07:40.440 news sell the event, so um in advance of that, 0:07:40.480 --> 0:07:43.080 they're starting to position, but once the news happens, once 0:07:43.080 --> 0:07:45.480 the invasion happens, then the markets start pumping again. That's 0:07:45.480 --> 0:07:48.000 what history shows us through those wars, as I mentioned, 0:07:48.000 --> 0:07:50.760 and of course today exactly shows that as well. So, 0:07:50.840 --> 0:07:52.760 like I said, we boughtomed as low as thirty four 0:07:52.840 --> 0:07:55.040 thousand and then pumped almost a back up to forty 0:07:56.080 --> 0:08:01.320 um by the news, right by the by the by 0:08:01.360 --> 0:08:03.360 the rumors, sell the news. I'm sorry, that's how that's 0:08:03.400 --> 0:08:05.720 how it goes. Now. Bitcoin was is low down is 0:08:05.840 --> 0:08:10.280 thirty two thousand all the way back about thirty days ago. 0:08:10.680 --> 0:08:13.120 So you know, thirty two thirty days ago was up 0:08:13.160 --> 0:08:15.280 to about thirty eight thousands time at the time of this, 0:08:15.680 --> 0:08:18.320 and so it's you know, it's moving pretty good. So typically, um in in in 0:08:42.400 --> 0:08:47.440 parts of Africa or Central America, Venezuela, they know why 0:08:47.480 --> 0:08:50.040 they need bitcoin. Nobody has to explain to them why 0:08:50.080 --> 0:08:52.760 they need it. But in the United States and Western Europe, 0:08:52.760 --> 0:08:55.760 people wonder why they need it. And of course, uh, 0:08:55.840 --> 0:08:57.760 Canada is doing their best to do the marketing and 0:08:57.800 --> 0:09:00.400 bringing it to the world stage. We also saw the U S. Secret 0:11:29.600 --> 0:11:33.800 Service come out and make an announcement regarding bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, 0:11:33.800 --> 0:11:37.440 which I thought was pretty interesting because they came out 0:11:37.559 --> 0:11:41.200 and uh, you know Secret Service they regulate currencies and 0:11:41.240 --> 0:11:44.960 so cryptocurrencies as well, and uh. An announcement released last Friday, 0:11:44.960 --> 0:11:47.440 the US Secret Service said that the new initiative seeks 0:11:47.480 --> 0:11:51.960 to quote provide public awareness information on digital assets, security 0:11:52.080 --> 0:11:55.160 and quote. Um. But what I liked about this is 0:11:55.200 --> 0:11:59.760 that at a time when we see um this villainizing 0:11:59.880 --> 0:12:03.200 or demonizing a bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, Like, how dare you 0:12:03.280 --> 0:12:07.280 think you have the right to hold your money, your assets, 0:12:07.280 --> 0:12:09.360 your property in a way that we can't seize. Um, 0:12:09.440 --> 0:12:11.600 That's that's what we're seeing for the most part. Right, 0:12:11.640 --> 0:12:14.240 you don't have the right to choose these things. Um. 0:12:14.280 --> 0:12:17.400 We saw a different message come from the Secret Service. 0:12:18.400 --> 0:12:21.320 They said, Uh, the agency stress that quote, investments and 0:12:21.360 --> 0:12:26.440 transactions using cryptocurrencies and digital assets are not inherently criminal 0:12:26.960 --> 0:12:32.959 end quote. Imagine that investments, interns actions using cryptocurrencies are 0:12:32.960 --> 0:12:38.600 not inherently criminal. Duh Uh. While it seems so obvious, 0:12:38.679 --> 0:12:41.880 I like to at least see them saying that. It said, 0:12:41.880 --> 0:12:45.120 while noting that they provide quote new opportunities for those 0:12:45.160 --> 0:12:48.280 seeking to commit fraud or otherwise conceal further legal activities. 0:12:48.440 --> 0:12:50.400 So it does create new opportunities for those seeking to 0:12:50.400 --> 0:12:56.040 commit fraud. Sure, there's fraud all kinds of ways. Every 0:12:55.640 --> 0:12:59.560 everything is a new opportunity to commit fraud. Um. I 0:12:59.679 --> 0:13:02.000 was talking to someone recently about trying to find a 0:13:02.080 --> 0:13:05.280 room for rent here in the local area, and they said, oh, 0:13:05.280 --> 0:13:07.200 I was talking about, like, oh, go on like Craigslist 0:13:07.200 --> 0:13:08.400 and look for rooms to rent, and they said, oh, 0:13:08.440 --> 0:13:10.400 you gotta be careful. There's so many scams, there's all 0:13:10.480 --> 0:13:14.160 kinds of fraud going on there. So rooms for rent 0:13:14.160 --> 0:13:17.080 on Craigslist opportunity creates a new opportunity for those seeking 0:13:17.120 --> 0:13:20.520 to commit fraud. Um. So, Sure, digital assets also, I guess, 0:13:20.520 --> 0:13:22.800 could be a way to commit fraud. But guess what. 0:13:23.600 --> 0:13:28.920 Committing fraud is illegal. There's a crime. There's already laws 0:13:28.960 --> 0:13:31.839 for that. But per what they said is that I'm 0:13:32.080 --> 0:13:36.040 transacting in cryptocurrencies is not inherent legal illegal. They went 0:13:36.080 --> 0:13:39.000 on to say that the U. S. Secret Service also 0:13:39.080 --> 0:13:43.600 noted that quote, cryptocurrencies continue to become more popular forms 0:13:43.640 --> 0:13:46.120 of payment and quote and for that reason, the agency 0:13:46.240 --> 0:13:49.079 must quote must also remain at the forefront of both 0:13:49.160 --> 0:13:53.800 educating the public and combatting financial fraud and quote so sure, UM, 0:13:54.000 --> 0:13:57.080 I don't know if it's their goal to educate the public.
