An 50 00:02:20,960 --> 00:02:24,440 Speaker 3: emotional episode nine which we broke down, so go check 51 00:02:24,440 --> 00:02:26,480 Speaker 3: that out, had a lot of fun talking to TK 52 00:02:26,600 --> 00:02:29,520 Speaker 3: and JD about that episode. But we got a bunch 53 00:02:29,520 --> 00:02:32,120 Speaker 3: of games from last night to discuss, and then a 54 00:02:32,120 --> 00:02:34,720 Speaker 3: bunch of series in the second round to look forward 55 00:02:34,760 --> 00:02:37,760 Speaker 3: to break down, talk about key storylines and X factors, 56 00:02:37,760 --> 00:02:40,840 Speaker 3: and make some predictions. But leally, we start with the 57 00:02:40,840 --> 00:02:44,680 Speaker 3: perfect game Chris Paul leading the Suns past Pelicans in 58 00:02:44,760 --> 00:02:48,399 Speaker 3: Game six, fourteen for fourteen from the floor and four 59 00:02:48,480 --> 00:02:50,280 Speaker 3: for four from the free throw line. 60 00:02:50,320 --> 00:02:52,720 Speaker 4: The perfect game, Yeah, and one for one from downtown. 61 00:02:52,760 --> 00:02:55,600 Speaker 8: And added to that, DeAndre Ititen was basically perfect himself 62 00:02:55,639 --> 00:02:58,639 Speaker 8: ten for twelve here. But Chris Paul, what an incredible 63 00:02:58,680 --> 00:03:01,520 Speaker 8: performance in wasn't a officially a close out game as 64 00:03:01,520 --> 00:03:03,080 Speaker 8: far as if they could have if they lost, they 65 00:03:03,080 --> 00:03:05,079 Speaker 8: would have gone on to game seven. But he did 66 00:03:05,120 --> 00:03:06,840 Speaker 8: not want to go home and play a game seven. 67 00:03:06,919 --> 00:03:09,320 Speaker 8: And the shots he were making, these weren't layups or 68 00:03:09,360 --> 00:03:11,840 Speaker 8: uncontested shots. There was defenders in his face. Most of 69 00:03:11,880 --> 00:03:13,639 Speaker 8: the time. He was just getting to his spot, that 70 00:03:13,680 --> 00:03:16,640 Speaker 8: sort of zigzag movie he likes to get ten fifteen 71 00:03:16,639 --> 00:03:19,120 Speaker 8: feet away and throw it up and it went in 72 00:03:19,160 --> 00:03:22,200 Speaker 8: and it was just incredible. But despite all that, despite 73 00:03:22,240 --> 00:03:24,160 Speaker 8: the fourteen for fourteen and the ten for twelve from 74 00:03:24,200 --> 00:03:27,359 Speaker 8: DeAndre eighton. Michael McHale Bridges went seven for twelve as 75 00:03:27,360 --> 00:03:28,680 Speaker 8: well from the field. 76 00:03:28,960 --> 00:03:30,760 Speaker 4: With a minute forty to go, the Pelicans were leading 77 00:03:30,760 --> 00:03:31,119 Speaker 4: this game. 78 00:03:31,480 --> 00:03:34,080 Speaker 8: They still had a chance to pull this off, despite 79 00:03:34,080 --> 00:03:35,800 Speaker 8: the fact that CJ mccoum, who was good in the 80 00:03:35,800 --> 00:03:36,360 Speaker 8: first half, was. 81 00:03:36,360 --> 00:03:37,080 Speaker 4: In foul trouble. 82 00:03:37,240 --> 00:03:39,240 Speaker 8: But then McHale Bridges rips the ball out of his 83 00:03:39,280 --> 00:03:42,680 Speaker 8: hands and dunked it, and Ah, that just felt like 84 00:03:42,720 --> 00:03:45,760 Speaker 8: the air was let out of the balloon because CJ's 85 00:03:45,800 --> 00:03:49,320 Speaker 8: been great, but it was pretty easy. How Bridges just 86 00:03:49,480 --> 00:03:52,600 Speaker 8: stripped him of the ball down there, trapped, Yeah. 87 00:03:52,280 --> 00:03:53,200 Speaker 3: And give me that. 88 00:03:53,360 --> 00:03:55,360 Speaker 8: And it just felt in that moment that that was 89 00:03:55,400 --> 00:03:57,680 Speaker 8: when the game was over, even though it wasn't officially, 90 00:03:57,720 --> 00:04:00,320 Speaker 8: it just felt like that. And Chris Paul had another 91 00:04:00,360 --> 00:04:02,640 Speaker 8: basket after that. I think Booker hit one two after 92 00:04:02,680 --> 00:04:04,960 Speaker 8: that as well, and the Suns just did enough to 93 00:04:05,000 --> 00:04:08,720 Speaker 8: say to the little brother guys, great fight, valiant effort, 94 00:04:09,080 --> 00:04:11,120 Speaker 8: but we're moving on here. And you guys, I've got 95 00:04:11,200 --> 00:04:13,400 Speaker 8: so much respect here for what the Pelicans have done 96 00:04:13,440 --> 00:04:16,120 Speaker 8: this season and how they competed in this series. And 97 00:04:16,160 --> 00:04:18,080 Speaker 8: I think you could feel the emotion after the game 98 00:04:18,160 --> 00:04:21,200 Speaker 8: between Chris Paul and Monty Williams, between Chris Paul and 99 00:04:21,200 --> 00:04:23,880 Speaker 8: Willie Green, between Willy Green and Monty Williams as well. 100 00:04:23,880 --> 00:04:25,480 Speaker 8: There was a lot of love and a lot of 101 00:04:25,920 --> 00:04:28,400 Speaker 8: you know, history with all of those guys and those 102 00:04:28,400 --> 00:04:31,440 Speaker 8: players and former teammates and now coaching and all that. 103 00:04:31,920 --> 00:04:34,560 Speaker 8: But in the end, the Suns get away with it, 104 00:04:34,600 --> 00:04:35,440 Speaker 8: They win this series. 105 00:04:35,480 --> 00:04:35,960 Speaker 4: They move on. 106 00:04:36,040 --> 00:04:36,240 Speaker 2: Now. 107 00:04:36,279 --> 00:04:37,839 Speaker 4: Booker played, which is good. He looked okay. 108 00:04:37,960 --> 00:04:40,560 Speaker 8: I thought he looked pretty much, you know, like that, 109 00:04:40,600 --> 00:04:41,599 Speaker 8: he didn't seem too bothered. 110 00:04:41,600 --> 00:04:42,000 Speaker 4: He didn't help. 111 00:04:42,880 --> 00:04:45,000 Speaker 8: Yeah, he didn't have a super super game as far 112 00:04:45,040 --> 00:04:46,800 Speaker 8: as our scorer, and ball only had thirteen points. But 113 00:04:46,839 --> 00:04:48,640 Speaker 8: I think it was more about let's get him through 114 00:04:48,640 --> 00:04:49,640 Speaker 8: this game and then move. 115 00:04:49,520 --> 00:04:50,280 Speaker 4: On to the next round. 116 00:04:50,320 --> 00:04:53,280 Speaker 8: So over all, the Sons probably took longer than they 117 00:04:53,320 --> 00:04:55,040 Speaker 8: were expecting to get rid of the Pelicans, but that 118 00:04:55,120 --> 00:04:56,560 Speaker 8: I think is so much down to the fact that 119 00:04:56,560 --> 00:04:59,600 Speaker 8: Pelicans fought this entire series, and you saw it last night, 120 00:04:59,680 --> 00:05:01,680 Speaker 8: right up until the end. That had a chance to 121 00:05:01,680 --> 00:05:04,800 Speaker 8: extend it but I couldn't. But great job by everybody. 122 00:05:04,440 --> 00:05:07,400 Speaker 3: Yeah, pretty amazing though, Chris Paul, what is the eighty 123 00:05:07,440 --> 00:05:10,600 Speaker 3: five years old, going fourteen for fourteen and likely said, 124 00:05:10,640 --> 00:05:12,680 Speaker 3: I mean this was all jumpers. These are not layups, 125 00:05:12,680 --> 00:05:14,880 Speaker 3: these are not fast break you know, got an easy 126 00:05:14,920 --> 00:05:17,720 Speaker 3: one here. This is with guys draped all over him, 127 00:05:17,760 --> 00:05:19,960 Speaker 3: him finding a spot, and he had a couple. I mean, 128 00:05:20,000 --> 00:05:22,200 Speaker 3: he just had it going last night. I think like 129 00:05:22,240 --> 00:05:25,240 Speaker 3: two of his four that bounced in were down the stretch, 130 00:05:25,440 --> 00:05:27,120 Speaker 3: Like he got that crazy one that went way up 131 00:05:27,160 --> 00:05:29,120 Speaker 3: in the air, hit a bunch of rim and bounced around, 132 00:05:29,200 --> 00:05:31,240 Speaker 3: had the other dunkin like one front of the rim, 133 00:05:31,320 --> 00:05:33,800 Speaker 3: and then kissed it in. But that's spectacular, Like this 134 00:05:33,839 --> 00:05:36,640 Speaker 3: has never been done before in an NBA playoff game, 135 00:05:36,720 --> 00:05:38,160 Speaker 3: let alone from a guy that's like one of the 136 00:05:38,200 --> 00:05:39,200 Speaker 3: shortest guys out there. 137 00:05:39,600 --> 00:05:41,560 Speaker 2: He was filling it so much that bucket. With like 138 00:05:41,640 --> 00:05:44,960 Speaker 2: four thirty left, he wiped the sweat off his hands 139 00:05:45,040 --> 00:05:46,960 Speaker 2: on the shorts while he had the ball, just took 140 00:05:46,960 --> 00:05:49,640 Speaker 2: his time. I'm gonna need this hand, wiped it off, 141 00:05:49,760 --> 00:05:51,880 Speaker 2: tried it off, and then banged home a shot. There's 142 00:05:51,880 --> 00:05:54,120 Speaker 2: something about clinching on the road in the playoffs just 143 00:05:54,520 --> 00:05:57,039 Speaker 2: it's just such high drama. It was amazing. Yeah, all 144 00:05:57,080 --> 00:05:59,880 Speaker 2: the relationships that Lee went through the Willie Green moment. 145 00:06:00,240 --> 00:06:01,760 Speaker 2: I don't know if it's just because I lost money 146 00:06:01,760 --> 00:06:03,719 Speaker 2: in Vegas, but that made me want to cry. No, 147 00:06:04,200 --> 00:06:08,200 Speaker 2: I'm sure everybody in that in that building, everybody on 148 00:06:08,240 --> 00:06:11,119 Speaker 2: the Sun's organization loved Willie. I mean so many tears 149 00:06:11,160 --> 00:06:14,240 Speaker 2: after the game. Yeah, and the way it just it 150 00:06:14,279 --> 00:06:17,800 Speaker 2: lasted forty six and a half minutes until Herbert Jones 151 00:06:17,800 --> 00:06:20,680 Speaker 2: that everyone was praising, just kind of lost Devin Booker 152 00:06:20,760 --> 00:06:23,160 Speaker 2: for half a second because everyone was expecting Chris Paul 153 00:06:23,200 --> 00:06:25,520 Speaker 2: to go off. Devin Booker hadn't hit a three. Herbert 154 00:06:25,680 --> 00:06:27,920 Speaker 2: looking at Chris Paul, took his eye off. Devin Booker, 155 00:06:28,080 --> 00:06:29,960 Speaker 2: bang big shot, and then they go the other way 156 00:06:29,960 --> 00:06:31,960 Speaker 2: and that was when the rip happened on CG mccollm. 157 00:06:32,000 --> 00:06:35,120 Speaker 2: Game over two plays, good Night came down to two 158 00:06:35,440 --> 00:06:39,760 Speaker 2: teeny teeny plays and the Suns it was It wasn't 159 00:06:39,800 --> 00:06:41,400 Speaker 2: a wild because, yeah, you look at the shot chart. 160 00:06:41,400 --> 00:06:43,159 Speaker 2: I know you tweeted skeets, and then you look at 161 00:06:43,200 --> 00:06:45,080 Speaker 2: what the Sons did. They took eight fewer shots in 162 00:06:45,120 --> 00:06:47,320 Speaker 2: the pells and were still able to win this game. 163 00:06:47,200 --> 00:06:48,240 Speaker 3: Because they shot sixty percent. 164 00:06:48,240 --> 00:06:51,640 Speaker 2: They hit six out of ten shots and didn't didn't 165 00:06:51,680 --> 00:06:54,839 Speaker 2: hit a ton of threes. That was clinical, clinical finish, 166 00:06:54,960 --> 00:06:58,240 Speaker 2: and especially with Yeah, Devin Booker was pretty quiet, but yeah, 167 00:06:58,240 --> 00:07:01,120 Speaker 2: everybody else so efficient. It was on the road. You 168 00:07:01,200 --> 00:07:03,680 Speaker 2: gotta be that great, and the PILs had an incredible season. 169 00:07:03,720 --> 00:07:04,440 Speaker 3: What do you think, Trey? 170 00:07:04,839 --> 00:07:08,120 Speaker 5: This was just cool. I felt like Chris Paul's fourteenth 171 00:07:08,160 --> 00:07:09,840 Speaker 5: make was maybe the closest to missing. 172 00:07:09,840 --> 00:07:11,840 Speaker 3: I was like, no, no roll out. 173 00:07:12,160 --> 00:07:14,240 Speaker 5: Obviously it dropped in and the Suns take to win. 174 00:07:14,360 --> 00:07:16,720 Speaker 5: Only eight threes for the Suns, only eight threes for 175 00:07:16,760 --> 00:07:19,560 Speaker 5: the Pelicans. This was like a nineteen nineties basketball game, 176 00:07:19,840 --> 00:07:21,640 Speaker 5: getting into the mid range. And like you mentioned Lee, 177 00:07:21,680 --> 00:07:24,080 Speaker 5: ten for twelve from DeAndre Ayton, I'm surprised to see 178 00:07:24,120 --> 00:07:26,240 Speaker 5: that only four of his baskets came on assist from 179 00:07:26,320 --> 00:07:29,000 Speaker 5: Chris Paul. I would have guessed exactly ten. But if 180 00:07:29,000 --> 00:07:31,760 Speaker 5: you're getting, you know, twenty four for twenty six from 181 00:07:31,800 --> 00:07:34,680 Speaker 5: your two leading scores, that's that's a tough uh. That's 182 00:07:34,720 --> 00:07:37,520 Speaker 5: tough to beat if you're the Pelicans. But man, they 183 00:07:37,560 --> 00:07:41,000 Speaker 5: tried hard, they grinded, they did the best they possibly could. 184 00:07:41,160 --> 00:07:44,000 Speaker 5: They had three rookies out there making incredible plays down 185 00:07:44,000 --> 00:07:46,520 Speaker 5: the stretch. This was really fun to watch, and you know, 186 00:07:46,640 --> 00:07:49,000 Speaker 5: it just shows you the level that the Sons are at. 187 00:07:49,040 --> 00:07:50,920 Speaker 5: That the Pelicans were playing as well as they were. 188 00:07:50,920 --> 00:07:54,040 Speaker 5: They were getting contributions from everybody. They just couldn't handle 189 00:07:54,120 --> 00:07:55,840 Speaker 5: Chris Paul because Chris Paul is awesome. 190 00:07:56,000 --> 00:07:58,200 Speaker 3: Yeah, and again I think the Pelicans have done the 191 00:07:58,200 --> 00:08:00,520 Speaker 3: Suns of favor here in putting up the fight in 192 00:08:00,560 --> 00:08:02,920 Speaker 3: the first round. We'll see how that you know, folds 193 00:08:02,920 --> 00:08:04,960 Speaker 3: out here, or at least the unfolds excuse me, as 194 00:08:04,960 --> 00:08:06,640 Speaker 3: they take on the Mavericks. Won't get to that series 195 00:08:06,640 --> 00:08:09,080 Speaker 3: in a second. But Chris Paul, I have the stats 196 00:08:09,080 --> 00:08:11,560 Speaker 3: here from an account that changed their name to Paul 197 00:08:11,600 --> 00:08:14,840 Speaker 3: Don't lie. Chris Paul finished the series against Pelican shooting 198 00:08:14,880 --> 00:08:18,320 Speaker 3: seventy percent between five and nine feet, fifty nine percent 199 00:08:18,360 --> 00:08:20,720 Speaker 3: from ten to fourteen, and then sixty eight percent from 200 00:08:20,760 --> 00:08:24,400 Speaker 3: fifteen to nineteen. Those are really insane numbs. That's a series. 201 00:08:24,600 --> 00:08:26,440 Speaker 8: Yeah, and I haven't got the numbers, but I know 202 00:08:26,480 --> 00:08:28,440 Speaker 8: he had less than ten turnovers I think for the 203 00:08:28,600 --> 00:08:31,960 Speaker 8: entire series as well, so he's taking care of the 204 00:08:31,960 --> 00:08:35,120 Speaker 8: ball was incredible and then cashing in from everywhere he 205 00:08:35,120 --> 00:08:36,040 Speaker 8: had it was InCred. 206 00:08:35,760 --> 00:08:38,880 Speaker 3: And also add to that, these are against guys like 207 00:08:39,120 --> 00:08:41,560 Speaker 3: young guys and Alvarado who made himself a name for 208 00:08:41,600 --> 00:08:43,839 Speaker 3: being a pesky defender, you know, Herb Jones sometimes getting 209 00:08:43,840 --> 00:08:46,080 Speaker 3: switched on, Like that's the other crazy part about who 210 00:08:46,080 --> 00:08:49,120 Speaker 3: he was doing it agains just special stuff from Chris 211 00:08:49,160 --> 00:08:51,600 Speaker 3: Paul and again, pretty wild that we got something we've 212 00:08:51,640 --> 00:08:54,080 Speaker 3: never seen before. I know Nne went twelve for twelve 213 00:08:54,160 --> 00:08:57,920 Speaker 3: in a playoff game once, but then Hilario, Wow, the 214 00:08:57,960 --> 00:08:59,120 Speaker 3: old Rockets Thunder game. 215 00:08:59,200 --> 00:09:01,199 Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean they must have been eleven dunks. 216 00:09:01,240 --> 00:09:04,280 Speaker 3: Then yeah, probably I didn't check the tape, but I 217 00:09:04,280 --> 00:09:06,720 Speaker 3: don't think they were jumpers from around the free throw 218 00:09:06,760 --> 00:09:09,360 Speaker 3: line for any in that game. Yeah, anything else to 219 00:09:09,360 --> 00:09:11,240 Speaker 3: add to the to the Sun's Pelicans, what about the 220 00:09:11,240 --> 00:09:13,040 Speaker 3: Pelicans moving forward here, Like, let's talk about that a 221 00:09:13,080 --> 00:09:15,400 Speaker 3: little bit. Trey said it. All the rookies, you know, 222 00:09:15,440 --> 00:09:18,360 Speaker 3: Jose Herb, Trey Murphy in a big three in this one. 223 00:09:19,240 --> 00:09:22,680 Speaker 3: And then you've got your star in Ingram, who played 224 00:09:22,840 --> 00:09:26,720 Speaker 3: really incredibly well throughout this entire postseason. McCollum, you know, 225 00:09:26,760 --> 00:09:28,640 Speaker 3: got slowed a bit here in this series. I think 226 00:09:28,679 --> 00:09:31,120 Speaker 3: a big part because of Bridges defense. But then you 227 00:09:31,120 --> 00:09:33,360 Speaker 3: add Zion to this and you got a great coach 228 00:09:33,400 --> 00:09:37,080 Speaker 3: and Willie Green, like, what's the potential for this team 229 00:09:37,080 --> 00:09:37,719 Speaker 3: even next year? 230 00:09:37,920 --> 00:09:40,200 Speaker 8: Well, it really depends on Zion, I think, and what's 231 00:09:40,240 --> 00:09:42,280 Speaker 8: going on there, because it still seems like there's a 232 00:09:42,280 --> 00:09:44,920 Speaker 8: little bit of weirdness going on between him and the organization. 233 00:09:45,040 --> 00:09:47,559 Speaker 8: That sort of has been the whole story this season. 234 00:09:47,600 --> 00:09:49,160 Speaker 8: We didn't even know about the injury. Then he was 235 00:09:49,200 --> 00:09:50,760 Speaker 8: maybe coming back, and then he didn't, and then he 236 00:09:50,800 --> 00:09:52,600 Speaker 8: was training somewhere else, and then he was had a 237 00:09:52,640 --> 00:09:54,880 Speaker 8: disagreement as to when he was going to come back, 238 00:09:54,880 --> 00:09:56,679 Speaker 8: and then he's throwing down three sixties and between the 239 00:09:56,720 --> 00:09:58,840 Speaker 8: lake dunks, so he looks great. I mean, if you 240 00:09:58,880 --> 00:10:00,520 Speaker 8: add a guy who can get tw twenty seven and 241 00:10:00,559 --> 00:10:03,760 Speaker 8: eight a game shooting, what's sixty percent to that core. 242 00:10:04,320 --> 00:10:07,720 Speaker 8: I mean, honestly, they should be absolutely in the playoffs 243 00:10:07,800 --> 00:10:10,000 Speaker 8: and hunting for a top four spot. Now never always 244 00:10:10,120 --> 00:10:13,560 Speaker 8: come together so quickly, but there's no question that Willie 245 00:10:13,559 --> 00:10:16,319 Speaker 8: Green is loved in that locker room. Those guys all 246 00:10:16,320 --> 00:10:19,280 Speaker 8: play for him. Valentiunis I think played a fantastic role 247 00:10:19,320 --> 00:10:21,920 Speaker 8: this season, and Brandon Ingram He's been an all star before. 248 00:10:22,000 --> 00:10:24,280 Speaker 8: He showed that in the sort of late stage of 249 00:10:24,280 --> 00:10:26,320 Speaker 8: this season and in this series as well. And then 250 00:10:26,360 --> 00:10:28,600 Speaker 8: I think CJ's a very nice vet to have on 251 00:10:28,640 --> 00:10:30,520 Speaker 8: that team. I think he's a really good fit there. 252 00:10:30,600 --> 00:10:32,560 Speaker 8: So and then you do you mention Herb Jones. I 253 00:10:32,600 --> 00:10:36,000 Speaker 8: mean that Reggie was already talking about All NBA Second Team. 254 00:10:36,000 --> 00:10:37,600 Speaker 8: I think last night for him, I'm not sure if 255 00:10:37,600 --> 00:10:41,520 Speaker 8: he's going to get it, but sorry, yeah, yeah, and 256 00:10:41,559 --> 00:10:44,360 Speaker 8: then you've got Murphy's good and he can shoot the three. 257 00:10:44,400 --> 00:10:47,640 Speaker 8: Jose Evra, I'm not sure what Jose Alvarado is this series. 258 00:10:47,640 --> 00:10:48,280 Speaker 4: He was perfect. 259 00:10:48,280 --> 00:10:50,600 Speaker 8: He was the pest for the granddaddy of the pest. 260 00:10:50,640 --> 00:10:53,079 Speaker 8: In fact, a great moment last night where Chris Paul 261 00:10:53,160 --> 00:10:56,720 Speaker 8: stopped and got the offensive foul I guess when Alvarado 262 00:10:56,800 --> 00:10:58,520 Speaker 8: runs into him and then fell all over the place 263 00:10:58,559 --> 00:10:59,480 Speaker 8: and all. 264 00:10:59,400 --> 00:11:03,320 Speaker 4: The delicious irony of Yeah, exactly. 265 00:11:04,000 --> 00:11:06,920 Speaker 8: So they've got a really really broad future. Considering again, 266 00:11:06,960 --> 00:11:09,680 Speaker 8: we mentioned a lot. The season started off the complete opposite. 267 00:11:09,679 --> 00:11:12,400 Speaker 8: It was like, what this franchise might not win fifteen games? Yeah, 268 00:11:12,440 --> 00:11:15,439 Speaker 8: and now they're they should be hunting the playoffs for sure. 269 00:11:15,520 --> 00:11:17,680 Speaker 3: It's just even nice to see these home games there 270 00:11:17,720 --> 00:11:20,760 Speaker 3: in the blender and the crowd going absolutely bonkers. Like 271 00:11:20,800 --> 00:11:22,800 Speaker 3: when they started one and twelve, there were a bunch 272 00:11:22,800 --> 00:11:24,720 Speaker 3: of whispers like they're not going to be in New 273 00:11:24,760 --> 00:11:25,720 Speaker 3: Orleans all that much longer? 274 00:11:25,880 --> 00:11:27,800 Speaker 4: Wasn't a one hundred dollars court site seats. 275 00:11:27,960 --> 00:11:31,440 Speaker 3: Something like that? Something like that. Yeah, and Manda that 276 00:11:31,520 --> 00:11:32,880 Speaker 3: has that changed in a hurry, and like there's a 277 00:11:32,920 --> 00:11:34,680 Speaker 3: buzz to this team, and yeah, what do you think 278 00:11:34,720 --> 00:11:37,360 Speaker 3: about throwing If you throw a healthy zion into the 279 00:11:37,400 --> 00:11:39,559 Speaker 3: mix here, it's a hell of a lot of talent. 280 00:11:40,080 --> 00:11:43,319 Speaker 2: The New Orleans Publicans have gone for it with the CJ. 281 00:11:43,400 --> 00:11:46,720 Speaker 2: McCollum trade. The rookies have worked out, The coaching obviously 282 00:11:46,800 --> 00:11:48,880 Speaker 2: has worked out. Just shows you need talent. Monty Williams 283 00:11:49,000 --> 00:11:51,679 Speaker 2: used to be there. This seems like sort of an 284 00:11:51,679 --> 00:11:54,679 Speaker 2: inexpensive move by David Griffin, but Willie Green just needed 285 00:11:54,720 --> 00:11:57,480 Speaker 2: some talent. All coaches need talent. They got it. Yes, 286 00:11:57,640 --> 00:12:01,120 Speaker 2: of course, extremely bright a wild thirty six win team 287 00:12:01,200 --> 00:12:03,680 Speaker 2: versus a sixty four win team. We saw a six 288 00:12:03,760 --> 00:12:06,760 Speaker 2: game series that was yeah, one for the ages. If 289 00:12:06,760 --> 00:12:09,520 Speaker 2: you watched every minute, it was really really really fun. Yeah, 290 00:12:09,559 --> 00:12:12,520 Speaker 2: and the Pels yet deserve all the credit everyone in 291 00:12:12,559 --> 00:12:15,280 Speaker 2: that in that locker room, and hopefully Zion comes back, 292 00:12:15,280 --> 00:12:18,880 Speaker 2: because it is still huge question mark. It's not a luck. 293 00:12:18,920 --> 00:12:23,960 Speaker 2: You see him throwing down dunks in these cool little videos, 294 00:12:23,960 --> 00:12:25,800 Speaker 2: a ten second video, but is he coming back? When's 295 00:12:25,800 --> 00:12:29,440 Speaker 2: he coming back? Otherwise? Yeah, this gotta be very, very 296 00:12:29,679 --> 00:12:30,839 Speaker 2: very excited for this team. 297 00:12:31,120 --> 00:12:33,440 Speaker 5: I think Pelicans are going to need a passer. They're 298 00:12:33,440 --> 00:12:35,320 Speaker 5: going to need somebody who really sets the table when 299 00:12:35,400 --> 00:12:38,280 Speaker 5: Zion comes back, because McCollum wants the ball, brandon Ingram 300 00:12:38,320 --> 00:12:40,000 Speaker 5: wants the ball, and Zion wants the ball, and they 301 00:12:40,000 --> 00:12:42,719 Speaker 5: probably all should get it, not to mention Jonas Valancunas 302 00:12:42,760 --> 00:12:44,439 Speaker 5: in their mashing inside. So I think they're going to 303 00:12:44,520 --> 00:12:46,200 Speaker 5: have to have some sort of a table setter. But 304 00:12:46,720 --> 00:12:48,640 Speaker 5: the talent looks great. It'll be I think it'll be 305 00:12:48,640 --> 00:12:50,600 Speaker 5: a little tricky to fit all those guys together once 306 00:12:50,679 --> 00:12:53,440 Speaker 5: Zion comes back, because they at their best. All three 307 00:12:53,480 --> 00:12:56,199 Speaker 5: of their stars right now are ball handlers who are 308 00:12:56,400 --> 00:13:00,600 Speaker 5: at their best making plays mostly for themselves, sometimes for others. 309 00:13:00,640 --> 00:13:02,960 Speaker 5: So we'll see exactly what they look like when they 310 00:13:03,000 --> 00:13:06,600 Speaker 5: are on the court together. But the idea of this 311 00:13:06,640 --> 00:13:08,720 Speaker 5: team looks great. They're pretty young, but they've got some 312 00:13:08,800 --> 00:13:11,920 Speaker 5: decent veteran pieces as well in McCollum and Valancunas, and 313 00:13:12,000 --> 00:13:14,280 Speaker 5: they just seem to have a lot of balance, which 314 00:13:14,320 --> 00:13:15,480 Speaker 5: is why they were able to give the Sun so 315 00:13:15,520 --> 00:13:16,440 Speaker 5: much trouble in this series. 316 00:13:17,000 --> 00:13:19,360 Speaker 3: The other game in the Western Conference playoffs last night, 317 00:13:19,440 --> 00:13:23,080 Speaker 3: Luka Doncic and the MAVs beat the Jazz. Just beat 318 00:13:23,120 --> 00:13:25,559 Speaker 3: the Jazz to advance to the second round. First time 319 00:13:25,679 --> 00:13:27,840 Speaker 3: Luca's doing that. First time in a long time. The 320 00:13:27,880 --> 00:13:29,760 Speaker 3: Mavericks are going to the second round since they won 321 00:13:29,760 --> 00:13:33,360 Speaker 3: their title, which is just a weird, weird thing twenty eleven, 322 00:13:33,480 --> 00:13:35,559 Speaker 3: they haven't been in the second round. Obviously, have had 323 00:13:35,600 --> 00:13:39,440 Speaker 3: some good teams, but this one who down to the wire? TK? 324 00:13:40,080 --> 00:13:40,840 Speaker 3: Where do you want to start? 325 00:13:40,920 --> 00:13:44,000 Speaker 5: This was a pretty fun game of basketball year. Looked 326 00:13:44,040 --> 00:13:46,880 Speaker 5: like we were going to Game seven baby. Through the 327 00:13:46,920 --> 00:13:49,319 Speaker 5: first half. The crowd was lit, the ball was moving, 328 00:13:49,320 --> 00:13:51,840 Speaker 5: and the Jazz we're having better luck from three, which 329 00:13:51,880 --> 00:13:55,000 Speaker 5: is something that they've needed in this playoff series. They 330 00:13:55,040 --> 00:13:57,440 Speaker 5: were only five for seventeen, not great shooting, but the 331 00:13:57,440 --> 00:13:59,680 Speaker 5: Mavericks were only three for eighteen. But that all changed 332 00:13:59,720 --> 00:14:01,679 Speaker 5: really in the third quarter. The MAVs went to their 333 00:14:01,679 --> 00:14:04,840 Speaker 5: small ball lineup. In surprise, surprise, the Jazz didn't have 334 00:14:04,880 --> 00:14:07,520 Speaker 5: an answer once again, thirty six to nineteen in the 335 00:14:07,559 --> 00:14:11,120 Speaker 5: third quarter for Dallas, they hit eight threes. That's a 336 00:14:11,120 --> 00:14:13,240 Speaker 5: lot of threes for a single quarter. Just so much 337 00:14:13,280 --> 00:14:16,000 Speaker 5: space out there. There was a great highlight of Rudy 338 00:14:16,000 --> 00:14:19,640 Speaker 5: Gobert getting isoed on Jalen Brunson and he was just 339 00:14:19,680 --> 00:14:23,080 Speaker 5: a crossover machine. I mean, kudos to Rudy. He made 340 00:14:23,160 --> 00:14:24,960 Speaker 5: him work but ended up being a jumper in the 341 00:14:25,000 --> 00:14:28,480 Speaker 5: face from the Brunson burner, which is just just a 342 00:14:28,520 --> 00:14:31,040 Speaker 5: great nerdy nickname. Yea, Like you had to be in 343 00:14:31,080 --> 00:14:33,080 Speaker 5: a science lab to know what a Bunsen burner is, 344 00:14:33,120 --> 00:14:34,640 Speaker 5: but it seems like everybody knows. 345 00:14:34,960 --> 00:14:37,080 Speaker 3: Yeah, it's fun to say it is. 346 00:14:37,280 --> 00:14:40,040 Speaker 5: It is really fun to say, and honestly, Bunsen burners 347 00:14:40,040 --> 00:14:41,640 Speaker 5: are pretty fun to play with. Two yeah, shout out 348 00:14:41,640 --> 00:14:43,440 Speaker 5: to the Jazz. They didn't go away. They battled back 349 00:14:43,440 --> 00:14:44,920 Speaker 5: in the fourth quarter. I thought they did a good 350 00:14:45,000 --> 00:14:47,680 Speaker 5: job of basically saying, Luca, you're not beating us right now, 351 00:14:47,680 --> 00:14:49,400 Speaker 5: so they would throw a double team at him. They 352 00:14:49,400 --> 00:14:51,080 Speaker 5: made it a point to get into the lane to 353 00:14:51,120 --> 00:14:53,360 Speaker 5: get to the free throw line. They even got two 354 00:14:53,440 --> 00:14:58,120 Speaker 5: assists from Donovan Mitchell to Rudy Gobert inside. Unfortunately, though, 355 00:14:58,160 --> 00:15:00,560 Speaker 5: for the Jazz, they went one of ten from three 356 00:15:00,640 --> 00:15:04,320 Speaker 5: in the fourth quarter, including a wide open game winning 357 00:15:04,360 --> 00:15:07,440 Speaker 5: buzzer beating miss from Boyan Bogdanovitch after a pump fake. 358 00:15:07,720 --> 00:15:09,960 Speaker 5: Pretty nice play from quinc Nada to get them a luck. 359 00:15:10,120 --> 00:15:11,000 Speaker 3: You can't get it. 360 00:15:10,920 --> 00:15:13,160 Speaker 5: It was wide open, man, just a little bit deep 361 00:15:13,280 --> 00:15:16,800 Speaker 5: dwink MAVs when mads went first playoff series went since 362 00:15:16,800 --> 00:15:19,680 Speaker 5: twenty eleven, like you're saying. Also, Rudy Gobert got stung 363 00:15:19,680 --> 00:15:20,400 Speaker 5: in the face BA zone. 364 00:15:22,520 --> 00:15:23,320 Speaker 3: That's just a funny. 365 00:15:23,600 --> 00:15:25,920 Speaker 5: That's just a funny little note there, stung in the 366 00:15:25,960 --> 00:15:27,960 Speaker 5: face by bees behalf. 367 00:15:28,440 --> 00:15:31,400 Speaker 4: Does anyone remember how there this season ended in the 368 00:15:31,400 --> 00:15:35,800 Speaker 4: bubble the Utah jaz Yeah, but Jamal Murray, Yeah, Mike 369 00:15:35,880 --> 00:15:36,560 Speaker 4: Conley was. 370 00:15:36,760 --> 00:15:38,120 Speaker 3: Like fifty points battles here. 371 00:15:38,200 --> 00:15:41,480 Speaker 8: Yeah, but the last play Mike Conley had a three 372 00:15:41,520 --> 00:15:43,440 Speaker 8: point Yes, just it basically. 373 00:15:43,120 --> 00:15:45,040 Speaker 3: Went down, went in and out. Yeah, yea yeah, and that. 374 00:15:45,080 --> 00:15:47,520 Speaker 8: Were down two in that one and obviously lost that. 375 00:15:47,600 --> 00:15:50,080 Speaker 8: So two seasons in, well, I guess too. Out of 376 00:15:50,080 --> 00:15:52,160 Speaker 8: the last three seasons it's ended on a on a 377 00:15:52,160 --> 00:15:53,880 Speaker 8: buzzer beating three that should have Now Conley's was a 378 00:15:53,880 --> 00:15:56,440 Speaker 8: bit more of a flinger was in transition, but Bogdanovich. 379 00:15:56,480 --> 00:15:58,440 Speaker 8: What an incredible play there by Snyder. I mean, he's 380 00:15:58,480 --> 00:16:00,800 Speaker 8: got perfect and Bogdanovitch kind of didn't get that close, 381 00:16:00,840 --> 00:16:01,680 Speaker 8: to be honest. 382 00:16:02,280 --> 00:16:06,600 Speaker 3: But he took his time. Yeah, a little bit more. 383 00:16:07,080 --> 00:16:09,000 Speaker 8: But this was lost in the third quarter. As Trey 384 00:16:09,040 --> 00:16:12,880 Speaker 8: mentioned watching back this morning, at those threes, they're just 385 00:16:12,960 --> 00:16:15,400 Speaker 8: wide open, too far. Too many of them are wide appened. 386 00:16:15,400 --> 00:16:16,760 Speaker 8: There's a guys sort of closing out, but in the 387 00:16:16,840 --> 00:16:19,000 Speaker 8: NBA closed out is not guy just running at you. 388 00:16:19,080 --> 00:16:20,840 Speaker 8: You've got to be there before he gets into that 389 00:16:21,080 --> 00:16:23,640 Speaker 8: shot because they get him off so quickly, and the 390 00:16:23,680 --> 00:16:25,840 Speaker 8: MAVs just felt it, and you could feel they were like, 391 00:16:26,080 --> 00:16:28,200 Speaker 8: we're just gonna We've got the momentum here, We're gonna 392 00:16:28,200 --> 00:16:31,120 Speaker 8: we're gonna overrun this scene. They can't really, they don't 393 00:16:31,120 --> 00:16:33,200 Speaker 8: have that same sort of ability to do that to us. 394 00:16:33,520 --> 00:16:35,720 Speaker 8: And then Luca did the same thing to Rudy that 395 00:16:35,760 --> 00:16:38,640 Speaker 8: he did in game four there where he just danced 396 00:16:38,680 --> 00:16:41,600 Speaker 8: him stepped back three. Oh my god, like poor Rudy, 397 00:16:41,680 --> 00:16:44,400 Speaker 8: Like that was good defense. He was right there. Luca's 398 00:16:44,440 --> 00:16:46,440 Speaker 8: just going further and further back. He's leaning back. But 399 00:16:46,480 --> 00:16:49,600 Speaker 8: it was so clean. So yeah, incredible series win. Still 400 00:16:49,600 --> 00:16:52,920 Speaker 8: for the Mavericks, I think to do this, I thought, Utah, Honestly, 401 00:16:53,280 --> 00:16:55,520 Speaker 8: apart from that one game where Rudy got the dunk 402 00:16:55,560 --> 00:16:58,240 Speaker 8: at the end on the one game too, the Mavericks 403 00:16:58,360 --> 00:17:00,560 Speaker 8: waxed them in this series for the most part, I think, 404 00:17:01,080 --> 00:17:01,600 Speaker 8: what do you think that? 405 00:17:02,360 --> 00:17:05,480 Speaker 2: Well, it's nice that a series ended on a play that, 406 00:17:05,800 --> 00:17:09,639 Speaker 2: in like basketball terms, was like an eternity of watching 407 00:17:09,640 --> 00:17:12,840 Speaker 2: boy On get open and just watching this shot and 408 00:17:12,880 --> 00:17:16,040 Speaker 2: having the chance to go and obviously it was off, 409 00:17:16,840 --> 00:17:20,400 Speaker 2: but it also hurt. Just seconds earlier Mike Conley traveled 410 00:17:20,480 --> 00:17:25,119 Speaker 2: when they're up one and Mike Conley coming down after 411 00:17:25,320 --> 00:17:27,840 Speaker 2: a Luca miss and they just they couldn't do anything. 412 00:17:27,840 --> 00:17:29,920 Speaker 2: Mitchell gave it to Conley, Condy got into the lane, 413 00:17:30,160 --> 00:17:32,120 Speaker 2: just kind of got stalled up, just didn't know where 414 00:17:32,160 --> 00:17:32,879 Speaker 2: to go and traveled. 415 00:17:33,000 --> 00:17:35,640 Speaker 3: Were you surprised they called that too? In all? Honestly, 416 00:17:35,720 --> 00:17:38,800 Speaker 3: you see that where they sometimes let it go unofficial. 417 00:17:38,800 --> 00:17:41,320 Speaker 3: Will I'm not saying it wasn't looked appeared to be 418 00:17:41,400 --> 00:17:44,280 Speaker 3: some dragging of course of the of the foot planted there. 419 00:17:44,359 --> 00:17:46,679 Speaker 3: But yeah, you see it a lot and they're all 420 00:17:46,760 --> 00:17:48,879 Speaker 3: right here, we all let it play out. But nope. 421 00:17:48,920 --> 00:17:50,480 Speaker 3: I mean I thought the mass bench did a good 422 00:17:50,520 --> 00:17:55,399 Speaker 3: job calling it. They're all over travel travelers like damn. 423 00:17:55,280 --> 00:17:55,800 Speaker 5: I guess it was. 424 00:17:55,960 --> 00:18:02,640 Speaker 3: But Conley he was garbage in this series. He should Yeah, yeah, 425 00:18:02,720 --> 00:18:05,359 Speaker 3: bad season. I mean he got he sort of got 426 00:18:05,400 --> 00:18:09,360 Speaker 3: embarrassed in this series. I thought like he showed his age. Yeah, 427 00:18:09,840 --> 00:18:10,520 Speaker 3: it's brutal. 428 00:18:10,840 --> 00:18:12,600 Speaker 2: Yeah, he could stand there and still bang home shots. 429 00:18:12,600 --> 00:18:15,360 Speaker 2: I think he still shot forty percent from three over 430 00:18:15,400 --> 00:18:19,760 Speaker 2: the course of the season. Bila Golder in this series, Yeah, listen, 431 00:18:19,840 --> 00:18:21,720 Speaker 2: the Jazz had to figure out, you know, I shouldn't 432 00:18:21,720 --> 00:18:23,399 Speaker 2: be on Connley. It shouldn't be on shouldn't have come 433 00:18:23,440 --> 00:18:24,960 Speaker 2: down to that last play. Jets should be able to 434 00:18:25,000 --> 00:18:28,600 Speaker 2: cover open shooters. They just wanted Rudy to stick by 435 00:18:28,720 --> 00:18:32,280 Speaker 2: the rim. We had John Schuman, our man. John Schuman 436 00:18:32,359 --> 00:18:35,399 Speaker 2: even just puzzled, why doesn't the guy who's next to 437 00:18:35,480 --> 00:18:38,119 Speaker 2: the open shooter come and defend the open shooter. I 438 00:18:38,160 --> 00:18:39,200 Speaker 2: think that's a fair question. 439 00:18:41,240 --> 00:18:41,639 Speaker 3: It didn't. 440 00:18:41,760 --> 00:18:44,240 Speaker 2: It was. It was odd to see that's where they 441 00:18:44,280 --> 00:18:47,480 Speaker 2: should have solved it. And yeah, another clincher on the 442 00:18:47,560 --> 00:18:49,840 Speaker 2: road just from a person who had no you know, 443 00:18:50,160 --> 00:18:53,560 Speaker 2: pony in this race. Awesome to watch and h yeah, 444 00:18:53,640 --> 00:18:57,080 Speaker 2: came down to that last shot. Unfortunate, but yeah, the 445 00:18:57,200 --> 00:18:59,240 Speaker 2: Jazz kind of did it to themselves in this series. 446 00:18:59,320 --> 00:19:01,240 Speaker 2: So the future who way up in the air for 447 00:19:01,920 --> 00:19:04,399 Speaker 2: up and down the roster, coaching staff, front office, what 448 00:19:04,480 --> 00:19:06,000 Speaker 2: the heck is going to happen with this team? Because 449 00:19:06,000 --> 00:19:07,000 Speaker 2: there's gotta be changes. 450 00:19:07,160 --> 00:19:09,240 Speaker 3: Well, what's the move? What does Danny Ainge do here? 451 00:19:09,720 --> 00:19:09,960 Speaker 5: Trey? 452 00:19:10,280 --> 00:19:12,640 Speaker 3: You're Danny all right? Haratulations? 453 00:19:12,720 --> 00:19:15,159 Speaker 5: Like I mean, I guess, Like really, the question is 454 00:19:15,480 --> 00:19:17,840 Speaker 5: that's an insult to me to call me Danny Ainge? 455 00:19:18,040 --> 00:19:18,880 Speaker 3: Are you sorry? 456 00:19:20,720 --> 00:19:22,160 Speaker 2: Are you a multisport guy? 457 00:19:22,400 --> 00:19:26,240 Speaker 3: Than you really blowing this up? Are you really truly 458 00:19:27,200 --> 00:19:30,600 Speaker 3: just detonating? And and what I mean by that is 459 00:19:30,760 --> 00:19:34,480 Speaker 3: like down to its to the to the cement floor 460 00:19:34,560 --> 00:19:39,120 Speaker 3: here and like that honestly like a real real rebuild 461 00:19:39,280 --> 00:19:41,399 Speaker 3: or is it pick one of the two of your 462 00:19:41,440 --> 00:19:44,119 Speaker 3: star players, your all stars in Donovan and Rudy And 463 00:19:44,160 --> 00:19:46,159 Speaker 3: then if that's the case, which one, Like where do 464 00:19:46,240 --> 00:19:47,160 Speaker 3: you go with this team? 465 00:19:47,280 --> 00:19:49,439 Speaker 5: It seems to be Donovan Mitchell would be the choice 466 00:19:49,600 --> 00:19:52,000 Speaker 5: to keep around if you're the Jazz. According to Tony 467 00:19:52,080 --> 00:19:54,239 Speaker 5: Jones at the Athletics subscribe at the Athletic dot com 468 00:19:54,400 --> 00:19:57,120 Speaker 5: slash no dunks, that's the plan is to build around 469 00:19:57,160 --> 00:19:59,480 Speaker 5: Donovan Mitchell. I think he needs to officially be the 470 00:19:59,520 --> 00:20:01,640 Speaker 5: point guard. I think there's no way you can possibly. 471 00:20:02,400 --> 00:20:04,320 Speaker 5: I don't think Commley should be back. I don't think 472 00:20:04,320 --> 00:20:07,280 Speaker 5: you can run a lineup out there with Donovan Mitchell 473 00:20:07,280 --> 00:20:09,720 Speaker 5: playing the two, because the guy is a traffic cone 474 00:20:10,240 --> 00:20:12,119 Speaker 5: on defense and that has been a huge problem for 475 00:20:12,160 --> 00:20:13,760 Speaker 5: the Jazz. You move him to the point guard, you 476 00:20:13,840 --> 00:20:16,400 Speaker 5: put some decent defensive wings around him, maybe you look 477 00:20:16,400 --> 00:20:18,960 Speaker 5: a little bit better on the perimeter there. The go 478 00:20:19,119 --> 00:20:22,640 Speaker 5: bet question is it's interesting he's on a massive contract, 479 00:20:22,920 --> 00:20:25,080 Speaker 5: but he's still really good at what he does. 480 00:20:25,320 --> 00:20:25,520 Speaker 3: Yeah. 481 00:20:25,680 --> 00:20:27,719 Speaker 5: Also, he gets exposed in the playoffs quite a bit, 482 00:20:27,840 --> 00:20:30,600 Speaker 5: just because you know the way the Jazz play defense, 483 00:20:30,640 --> 00:20:32,359 Speaker 5: it's going to lead to wide open threes and a 484 00:20:32,400 --> 00:20:34,800 Speaker 5: lot of teams want to generate those three pointers. Maybe 485 00:20:34,840 --> 00:20:39,080 Speaker 5: another team defense differently with Rudy Gobert and doesn't just 486 00:20:39,200 --> 00:20:42,800 Speaker 5: necessarily get eviscerated in small ball lineups anymore so, they 487 00:20:42,840 --> 00:20:45,920 Speaker 5: got a lot of questions to answer. I think other 488 00:20:46,000 --> 00:20:48,840 Speaker 5: teams would be most interested in acquiring Donovan Mitchell. He 489 00:20:48,880 --> 00:20:51,800 Speaker 5: seems to be the guy that every team would want. Like, 490 00:20:51,840 --> 00:20:53,560 Speaker 5: if you're the next you want Donovan Mitchell more than 491 00:20:53,600 --> 00:20:55,920 Speaker 5: you want Rudy Gobert, no doubt about it. But that 492 00:20:56,040 --> 00:20:57,920 Speaker 5: also means the Jazz want it. So they got a 493 00:20:57,960 --> 00:21:00,480 Speaker 5: lot of questions to answer. Obviously, Quinn Snyder's big question 494 00:21:00,800 --> 00:21:04,360 Speaker 5: as well. He seems more like a most likely to leave. 495 00:21:04,400 --> 00:21:06,600 Speaker 5: But I don't know. Rudy wants to retire a Jazz 496 00:21:06,880 --> 00:21:09,439 Speaker 5: That's what everybody says though. So I think a lot 497 00:21:09,520 --> 00:21:12,000 Speaker 5: of things will change with this Jazz team. I think 498 00:21:12,040 --> 00:21:15,280 Speaker 5: they'll probably try and build around Donovan Mitchell, but maybe 499 00:21:15,320 --> 00:21:16,680 Speaker 5: there are tough options here. 500 00:21:16,880 --> 00:21:18,800 Speaker 8: Yeah, and Mitchell's got to be better in his leadership 501 00:21:18,840 --> 00:21:21,399 Speaker 8: because defensively he was terrible I thought as well, just 502 00:21:21,600 --> 00:21:24,320 Speaker 8: just sloppy on the perimeter there and even on offense. 503 00:21:24,119 --> 00:21:26,560 Speaker 3: You're a bad series. He's under forty percent. You couldn't 504 00:21:26,600 --> 00:21:28,360 Speaker 3: hit a three to save his life. Yeah, he still 505 00:21:28,400 --> 00:21:30,280 Speaker 3: gets his twenty five to twenty six. He's good for that. 506 00:21:30,560 --> 00:21:32,640 Speaker 8: But it's kind of empty though, isn't it. Like it's 507 00:21:32,640 --> 00:21:34,320 Speaker 8: a bit more like he's just going to get his. 508 00:21:35,040 --> 00:21:37,560 Speaker 3: It definitely hurts when you maybe you get your team 509 00:21:37,640 --> 00:21:39,879 Speaker 3: twenty five, but you probably gave up oh exactly. 510 00:21:40,000 --> 00:21:42,280 Speaker 8: Yeah, So you know, there's no doubt for me that 511 00:21:42,440 --> 00:21:44,679 Speaker 8: the offensive talent that he's got is probably the one 512 00:21:44,720 --> 00:21:47,040 Speaker 8: you do want to keep over Rudy. But the good 513 00:21:47,080 --> 00:21:48,800 Speaker 8: news for the Jazz is if they decide to move 514 00:21:48,840 --> 00:21:50,240 Speaker 8: on from one of these, that they should get a 515 00:21:50,320 --> 00:21:53,240 Speaker 8: really good package in return, because a ton of teams 516 00:21:53,240 --> 00:21:55,680 Speaker 8: will take Rudy Gobert. His reputation might be a little 517 00:21:55,680 --> 00:21:57,959 Speaker 8: bit up and down, but so many teams would love 518 00:21:58,000 --> 00:21:59,600 Speaker 8: to have a guy who you know, can rebound and 519 00:21:59,640 --> 00:22:01,600 Speaker 8: defend and block shots and do all those things. And 520 00:22:01,960 --> 00:22:04,199 Speaker 8: Rudy's a fairly good teammate by all aspects, as far 521 00:22:04,240 --> 00:22:06,440 Speaker 8: as he understands. He doesn't get a ton of opportunities 522 00:22:06,480 --> 00:22:08,760 Speaker 8: on the offensive end, but he always puts in when 523 00:22:08,800 --> 00:22:11,600 Speaker 8: he can on the defensive end. So I'm not suggesting 524 00:22:11,640 --> 00:22:13,600 Speaker 8: a trade here, but I'm saying someone like Brooklyn, for example, 525 00:22:13,640 --> 00:22:18,240 Speaker 8: who have a very shallow like internal defense, yeah, they 526 00:22:18,240 --> 00:22:18,639 Speaker 8: would love to. 527 00:22:18,600 --> 00:22:20,560 Speaker 3: Have Rudy Gobiert back there. You know a lot of teams. 528 00:22:20,640 --> 00:22:23,200 Speaker 8: Yeah, so you know, the Charla Hornet, but then they 529 00:22:23,240 --> 00:22:26,160 Speaker 8: don't really have all that enticing stuff for the Jazz 530 00:22:26,200 --> 00:22:26,680 Speaker 8: to take back. 531 00:22:26,760 --> 00:22:29,760 Speaker 3: So Gordon Heward back to Utah, I mean from the 532 00:22:29,840 --> 00:22:31,159 Speaker 3: cot Bar's still there. 533 00:22:32,880 --> 00:22:35,400 Speaker 4: Contractually, Yeah, something like that, but it's. 534 00:22:35,320 --> 00:22:36,160 Speaker 2: Probably more than thirty. 535 00:22:36,280 --> 00:22:38,520 Speaker 4: But the Jazz, you know, the Jazz. 536 00:22:38,600 --> 00:22:40,439 Speaker 8: So if they do Field offers that they should get 537 00:22:40,480 --> 00:22:42,760 Speaker 8: a healthy, healthy offer for either or both if they 538 00:22:42,840 --> 00:22:47,800 Speaker 8: decide to. But to me, Snyder's had a fairly long run. 539 00:22:47,920 --> 00:22:50,040 Speaker 8: He'll get a coaching job somewhere else. I think people 540 00:22:50,119 --> 00:22:51,320 Speaker 8: like that. But I think you just need a new 541 00:22:51,440 --> 00:22:53,320 Speaker 8: voice now if you're going to go in a different direction, 542 00:22:53,440 --> 00:22:56,240 Speaker 8: because otherwise it's three seasons in a row. Now the 543 00:22:56,320 --> 00:22:58,160 Speaker 8: Jazz just honestly, you've flamed out in the playoffs. 544 00:22:58,240 --> 00:23:01,640 Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, and actually with Luca missing the first part 545 00:23:01,680 --> 00:23:03,560 Speaker 3: of this series, I mean, the opening was there, but 546 00:23:03,920 --> 00:23:08,160 Speaker 3: they got they got Brunson, Bernard. There's just no way though, 547 00:23:08,560 --> 00:23:12,480 Speaker 3: that this core is back next season, right, You're betting 548 00:23:12,560 --> 00:23:15,920 Speaker 3: against that being the case. This Danny Ainge too, makes moves. 549 00:23:15,960 --> 00:23:17,639 Speaker 3: He's like he ain't afraid to like, but. 550 00:23:17,840 --> 00:23:22,840 Speaker 8: He's part of the obviously the decisions isn't it that 551 00:23:23,119 --> 00:23:26,159 Speaker 8: Justin Zanni is their GM and Danny's got a bit 552 00:23:26,200 --> 00:23:28,320 Speaker 8: of a I know, but yeah, I'm not sure who 553 00:23:28,400 --> 00:23:30,800 Speaker 8: sort of has the final side there. But obviously Danny 554 00:23:31,160 --> 00:23:33,280 Speaker 8: wouldn't be there if he didn't exactly influence. 555 00:23:33,400 --> 00:23:35,840 Speaker 3: And so you think one one of the will be gone, 556 00:23:35,880 --> 00:23:38,520 Speaker 3: and Quin Snyder probably is done in Utah as well. 557 00:23:39,840 --> 00:23:42,200 Speaker 2: Yeah, I think the roster goes first to me Trader. 558 00:23:42,280 --> 00:23:45,440 Speaker 2: Danny's gonna make something happen. I think Danny is there too. Yeah, 559 00:23:45,480 --> 00:23:48,480 Speaker 2: Tred just definitely blow this thing up. The jazz have 560 00:23:48,560 --> 00:23:50,800 Speaker 2: gone from the Utah Jazz the Utah Blues. It's uh, 561 00:23:51,480 --> 00:23:55,080 Speaker 2: I mean Domin Mitchell, you know thinking about that. No, 562 00:23:55,200 --> 00:23:58,040 Speaker 2: I just did now after after Trey was saying maybe 563 00:23:58,080 --> 00:23:59,760 Speaker 2: we shouldn't have a team. I mean, just just go 564 00:24:00,080 --> 00:24:02,720 Speaker 2: to roster. Let's listen. Maybe you change the name, go 565 00:24:02,840 --> 00:24:06,880 Speaker 2: from different type of music blos now Saint Louis Blues. 566 00:24:07,000 --> 00:24:07,360 Speaker 2: They work. 567 00:24:07,680 --> 00:24:10,840 Speaker 3: They want shout out to John Ham. 568 00:24:11,840 --> 00:24:12,280 Speaker 2: Oh he's the. 569 00:24:14,359 --> 00:24:16,080 Speaker 3: Only reason I know that is I just saw a 570 00:24:16,160 --> 00:24:20,600 Speaker 3: clip on Twitter of our Canadian friends, Rene Piquett and 571 00:24:22,280 --> 00:24:24,639 Speaker 3: help me out. She works with the NHL network. Jackie 572 00:24:24,720 --> 00:24:27,480 Speaker 3: Jackie read Yeah, they're talking to John Hamm. 573 00:24:30,200 --> 00:24:32,040 Speaker 2: Yeah, they want They won the Cup a couple of 574 00:24:32,119 --> 00:24:33,879 Speaker 2: years ago. I guess I don't know. Wayne Gretzky was 575 00:24:33,920 --> 00:24:37,359 Speaker 2: a member of the Blues once. Weird Anyway, Uh, what 576 00:24:37,520 --> 00:24:38,720 Speaker 2: were we talking about the Utah? 577 00:24:38,840 --> 00:24:42,200 Speaker 3: You wanted to get rid of the entire team, the franchise. 578 00:24:41,720 --> 00:24:44,520 Speaker 2: The Well, wat does Donovan Mitchell want to be there? 579 00:24:44,920 --> 00:24:46,479 Speaker 3: I think that's I don't think so at all. 580 00:24:47,080 --> 00:24:47,520 Speaker 7: And that's all. 581 00:24:47,720 --> 00:24:50,960 Speaker 2: And at least Rudy Gobert has a beehive, and it 582 00:24:51,160 --> 00:24:54,760 Speaker 2: started at some roots. Well, he's going to be thirty soon. 583 00:24:54,840 --> 00:24:58,240 Speaker 2: It's not like he's young, and you tend to lean 584 00:24:58,480 --> 00:25:00,520 Speaker 2: again with the younger player. But it didn't seem like 585 00:25:00,560 --> 00:25:03,119 Speaker 2: Donovan really played with his heart and soul in this series, 586 00:25:04,119 --> 00:25:08,480 Speaker 2: and Rudy did, even if it wasn't all that beneficial. 587 00:25:08,600 --> 00:25:10,520 Speaker 5: And I think thought Rudy was better than Mitchell in 588 00:25:10,600 --> 00:25:13,760 Speaker 5: this series, no doubt about it. I mean, the defense 589 00:25:13,840 --> 00:25:15,480 Speaker 5: was a problem, but the defense is also a problem 590 00:25:15,480 --> 00:25:17,400 Speaker 5: because of Donovan Mitchell. But I also don't think Dwayne 591 00:25:17,400 --> 00:25:19,560 Speaker 5: Wade bought into the Jazz to coach or to have 592 00:25:19,680 --> 00:25:22,000 Speaker 5: a Rudy Gobert led team. I think he's there because 593 00:25:22,040 --> 00:25:24,359 Speaker 5: of Donovan Mitchell, so I think that probably has a 594 00:25:24,440 --> 00:25:26,000 Speaker 5: factor in it as well. There's a lot of new 595 00:25:26,080 --> 00:25:29,639 Speaker 5: voices obviously in the Jazz front office right now, so 596 00:25:30,520 --> 00:25:32,440 Speaker 5: we shall see. I mean, Mitchell's gonna get the most 597 00:25:32,480 --> 00:25:34,680 Speaker 5: back for sure of being a younger guy, being a 598 00:25:35,440 --> 00:25:37,560 Speaker 5: more famous guy, and just kind of like a higher 599 00:25:37,680 --> 00:25:40,520 Speaker 5: ceiling kind of player. But I don't know you saw me. 600 00:25:40,600 --> 00:25:42,639 Speaker 5: I was trying to work trades to get Rudy Gobert 601 00:25:42,680 --> 00:25:44,480 Speaker 5: to the Bulls. Teams will take him once he gets 602 00:25:44,480 --> 00:25:45,920 Speaker 5: away from the Jazz. Oh if you put him on 603 00:25:45,960 --> 00:25:47,880 Speaker 5: a team with a better lob passer, he'll be even 604 00:25:47,920 --> 00:25:48,440 Speaker 5: better as well. 605 00:25:48,520 --> 00:25:52,159 Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure, I wonder. Yeah, Donovan, I know we 606 00:25:52,240 --> 00:25:55,359 Speaker 2: make this comparison to Dwayne Wade, but Dwayne Wade wanted 607 00:25:55,359 --> 00:25:57,080 Speaker 2: to be in Miami until he didn't want to be 608 00:25:57,119 --> 00:25:57,880 Speaker 2: in Miami. 609 00:25:57,680 --> 00:25:59,040 Speaker 5: And then he wanted to be in Miami again. 610 00:26:00,040 --> 00:26:02,800 Speaker 2: It's like, oh, bad had to put the Cavs patch 611 00:26:02,880 --> 00:26:04,840 Speaker 2: on that on that Hall of Fame jacket had to 612 00:26:04,920 --> 00:26:06,800 Speaker 2: put I guess they just put the heat patch once, 613 00:26:06,800 --> 00:26:10,399 Speaker 2: they didn't put it twice. But yeah, it's this. I 614 00:26:10,560 --> 00:26:12,320 Speaker 2: don't think that Mitchell wants to be there. It doesn't 615 00:26:12,359 --> 00:26:15,719 Speaker 2: feel like it. And what's his number one issue? If 616 00:26:15,840 --> 00:26:18,560 Speaker 2: Rudy goes, is he happy to be there? I suppose 617 00:26:18,720 --> 00:26:21,440 Speaker 2: that's possibility, but it's just it's odd watching from this 618 00:26:21,600 --> 00:26:24,120 Speaker 2: side after seeing Donmy Mitchell be yeah, number one guy, 619 00:26:24,160 --> 00:26:25,320 Speaker 2: and maybe he has to be a point guard. As 620 00:26:25,400 --> 00:26:26,760 Speaker 2: Tony Jones said at the Athletic that was a good 621 00:26:26,800 --> 00:26:30,959 Speaker 2: little rundown. But he can score with the best of them, 622 00:26:30,960 --> 00:26:32,840 Speaker 2: and then this series he just wasn't even close to 623 00:26:32,920 --> 00:26:33,240 Speaker 2: that guy. 624 00:26:33,760 --> 00:26:36,240 Speaker 3: All right, well, let's move on. Let's look ahead, Suns MAVs. 625 00:26:36,640 --> 00:26:38,840 Speaker 3: That is the second round series, also known as the 626 00:26:38,920 --> 00:26:40,400 Speaker 3: Western Conference semifinals. 627 00:26:41,080 --> 00:26:43,920 Speaker 2: Yeah, why aren't the Western Conference quarterfinals the first round? 628 00:26:43,920 --> 00:26:46,800 Speaker 3: I know this, asked him, What do you like? Do 629 00:26:46,840 --> 00:26:48,840 Speaker 3: you like calling him the semifinals or second round? 630 00:26:49,560 --> 00:26:51,680 Speaker 2: I'm a second round second round man. Yeah, of course, 631 00:26:52,280 --> 00:26:54,560 Speaker 2: because you say semifinals and then is it the semifinals 632 00:26:54,600 --> 00:26:57,639 Speaker 2: of that conference or is it the semifinals because you 633 00:26:57,720 --> 00:26:59,720 Speaker 2: go from semifinals to finals to finals. 634 00:27:00,040 --> 00:27:02,239 Speaker 3: It's right, Dad's the second round here. 635 00:27:02,280 --> 00:27:03,600 Speaker 2: Sorry if I missed this conversation. 636 00:27:03,760 --> 00:27:05,560 Speaker 8: No, you don't get a T shirt if you win 637 00:27:05,640 --> 00:27:07,560 Speaker 8: the conference semis though, Okay, you only get a T 638 00:27:07,680 --> 00:27:09,200 Speaker 8: shirt if you win the conference finals. 639 00:27:09,920 --> 00:27:13,479 Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a good parts to determine accolades. That's your 640 00:27:13,600 --> 00:27:17,280 Speaker 3: life free t shirts. Okay, So Suns Mavericks, this is 641 00:27:17,320 --> 00:27:20,080 Speaker 3: going to get started early next week, I believe. Do 642 00:27:20,160 --> 00:27:22,280 Speaker 3: we have the schedule that one out? It's going to 643 00:27:22,320 --> 00:27:23,679 Speaker 3: be probably Monday, Monday? 644 00:27:23,760 --> 00:27:24,200 Speaker 5: Is it okay? 645 00:27:24,200 --> 00:27:24,840 Speaker 2: On Monday? Yeah? 646 00:27:25,440 --> 00:27:28,760 Speaker 3: So let's break it down, you know again, things to watch, tasks, 647 00:27:29,000 --> 00:27:32,000 Speaker 3: X factors, you know, ultimately, predictions. I think we can 648 00:27:32,080 --> 00:27:34,240 Speaker 3: make here maybe today, Uh, I guess we would have 649 00:27:34,320 --> 00:27:37,040 Speaker 3: Monday show too, But how about it. Excited for this one? 650 00:27:37,280 --> 00:27:40,080 Speaker 2: Yeah for sure? I think I starting from the just 651 00:27:40,160 --> 00:27:43,000 Speaker 2: the basics, the Suns aren't going to leave mav shooters 652 00:27:43,040 --> 00:27:45,680 Speaker 2: open the way the Jazz did, right, I mean as 653 00:27:45,720 --> 00:27:48,600 Speaker 2: simple as that. And I think this is going to 654 00:27:48,600 --> 00:27:51,159 Speaker 2: be a lot on Jalen Bruntson's shoulders to score a 655 00:27:51,240 --> 00:27:52,879 Speaker 2: lot in the mid range because the Suns are going 656 00:27:52,960 --> 00:27:54,639 Speaker 2: to do a good job of taking Luca away to 657 00:27:54,720 --> 00:27:56,840 Speaker 2: some degree. I think you're going to see find they're 658 00:27:56,840 --> 00:27:58,320 Speaker 2: going to find a way to get mckel bridges on 659 00:27:58,400 --> 00:28:02,480 Speaker 2: him and show him some length. I don't think if 660 00:28:02,560 --> 00:28:05,119 Speaker 2: we look up and down the roster. The MAVs can 661 00:28:05,200 --> 00:28:08,880 Speaker 2: win without Jalen Brunson having a real good night. If 662 00:28:08,920 --> 00:28:10,600 Speaker 2: he has an off night, I don't think they win 663 00:28:10,760 --> 00:28:13,080 Speaker 2: because the Suns have the advantage inside. We saw what 664 00:28:13,160 --> 00:28:17,200 Speaker 2: DeAndre Ayton did against Jones Valentiunas, he was really, really good. 665 00:28:17,240 --> 00:28:19,000 Speaker 2: He had twenty two in this last game. Now he's 666 00:28:19,000 --> 00:28:22,080 Speaker 2: gonna go up against Dwight Powell MAXI kleiba advantage there 667 00:28:22,520 --> 00:28:25,760 Speaker 2: the MAVs, if they have any advantage, it's high scoring guards. 668 00:28:25,920 --> 00:28:29,080 Speaker 2: And I think Luca's gonna have to trust Jalen because 669 00:28:29,080 --> 00:28:30,320 Speaker 2: they're gonna get the ball out of his hands and 670 00:28:30,359 --> 00:28:34,120 Speaker 2: show him a billion different defenses. So it's up to Dinwitdy, 671 00:28:35,000 --> 00:28:37,240 Speaker 2: but mainly Jalen Brunson because he can get into the 672 00:28:37,400 --> 00:28:41,120 Speaker 2: interior more than Spencer Dinwitty can and score. The Suns 673 00:28:41,160 --> 00:28:43,240 Speaker 2: are going to be one hundred percent healthy, you know, 674 00:28:43,320 --> 00:28:45,560 Speaker 2: as healthy as you possibly can be three nights off, 675 00:28:46,400 --> 00:28:49,720 Speaker 2: and Devin Booker, you know, fairly healthy as he played 676 00:28:49,720 --> 00:28:53,440 Speaker 2: here in Game six with thirty two minutes. I say 677 00:28:53,520 --> 00:28:55,440 Speaker 2: the MAVs have a bit of an advantage at the 678 00:28:55,520 --> 00:28:58,640 Speaker 2: guard spot, do they? I mean, I don't. That's their 679 00:28:58,720 --> 00:29:01,160 Speaker 2: only thing that they can really really look at and say, 680 00:29:01,840 --> 00:29:05,280 Speaker 2: maybe we have more scoring guards. If you know, Den 681 00:29:05,320 --> 00:29:07,800 Speaker 2: Book and Chris Paul are forced to guard Jalen Brunson 682 00:29:07,840 --> 00:29:10,400 Speaker 2: and Spencer Dinwiddie mostly Brunson. Again, I think it's on 683 00:29:10,480 --> 00:29:12,720 Speaker 2: Brunson to have big nights. They're gonna have to score 684 00:29:12,760 --> 00:29:14,720 Speaker 2: a lot. The threes aren't going to be raining down 685 00:29:14,760 --> 00:29:17,240 Speaker 2: as much as they were as they were against Utah, 686 00:29:17,360 --> 00:29:20,000 Speaker 2: So to me, it's a lot on brunson shoulders. The 687 00:29:20,080 --> 00:29:22,800 Speaker 2: Suns team. Yeah, as we said about the Pals, they 688 00:29:22,880 --> 00:29:25,320 Speaker 2: got warm, they're ready to play good ball and get 689 00:29:25,360 --> 00:29:28,360 Speaker 2: out on very good shooters and the MAVs. Yet they 690 00:29:28,400 --> 00:29:31,400 Speaker 2: want to shoot forty forty five times and hope they 691 00:29:31,480 --> 00:29:33,320 Speaker 2: go down. But the Suns are going to be out there, man. 692 00:29:33,360 --> 00:29:35,000 Speaker 2: So I think it's gonna be Brunson in the mid range, 693 00:29:35,120 --> 00:29:35,840 Speaker 2: got to score a ton. 694 00:29:36,080 --> 00:29:37,720 Speaker 8: What do you think, well, Finney Smith, I think, and 695 00:29:37,800 --> 00:29:39,840 Speaker 8: Maxi Kleeber as well. If those guys are hitting threes, 696 00:29:40,080 --> 00:29:41,680 Speaker 8: then the MAVs are a chance. But I think the 697 00:29:41,760 --> 00:29:43,840 Speaker 8: primitive defense in Phoenix is going to be much better 698 00:29:44,160 --> 00:29:46,600 Speaker 8: in this series than it was against the Utah Jazz. 699 00:29:46,640 --> 00:29:49,400 Speaker 8: And also the MAVs really you're gonna have to figure 700 00:29:49,400 --> 00:29:49,760 Speaker 8: out how to. 701 00:29:49,760 --> 00:29:50,240 Speaker 4: Do something bad. 702 00:29:50,280 --> 00:29:53,520 Speaker 8: DeAndre Aden in the series against Jonas Valentiunas, he averaged 703 00:29:53,560 --> 00:29:57,080 Speaker 8: twenty points on seventy percent shooting and you got ten 704 00:29:57,160 --> 00:29:57,800 Speaker 8: rebands a game. 705 00:29:57,880 --> 00:30:00,600 Speaker 3: It goes completely overlooked too. Oh yeah, he killy talks 706 00:30:00,600 --> 00:30:01,040 Speaker 3: about eating. 707 00:30:01,080 --> 00:30:03,920 Speaker 4: Then he's put that mid range. 708 00:30:03,760 --> 00:30:05,800 Speaker 8: Just like you catch it throat and it's a sort 709 00:30:05,840 --> 00:30:08,000 Speaker 8: of a yo kicch like pushy, sort of floaty shot, 710 00:30:08,080 --> 00:30:10,920 Speaker 8: but very very effective. I mean, to knock in seventy 711 00:30:10,960 --> 00:30:14,040 Speaker 8: percent is incredible. So Dwight Powell is going to have 712 00:30:14,120 --> 00:30:15,880 Speaker 8: his hands for whoever's not you know Kleiba. They're gonna 713 00:30:15,880 --> 00:30:17,520 Speaker 8: throw a few guys at him. But the Sons know 714 00:30:17,600 --> 00:30:19,600 Speaker 8: that that's a big advantage for them, so they're going 715 00:30:19,640 --> 00:30:21,440 Speaker 8: to spread the floor with their shooters and then they 716 00:30:21,480 --> 00:30:23,280 Speaker 8: can try to take advantage start. But if those Maps 717 00:30:23,320 --> 00:30:25,520 Speaker 8: guys are hitting them shots, they're a chance. 718 00:30:25,560 --> 00:30:28,600 Speaker 3: Well, yeah, you add dfs hit seventeen threes in this 719 00:30:28,720 --> 00:30:31,160 Speaker 3: last series. You had Bullock hit seventeen threes in this 720 00:30:31,320 --> 00:30:33,800 Speaker 3: last series, Maxi Kleiba hit sixteen. He shot over fifty 721 00:30:33,840 --> 00:30:36,960 Speaker 3: percent from three. In addition to Brunson hitting a lot Luca, 722 00:30:37,040 --> 00:30:39,600 Speaker 3: you know, can catch fire. That that they they're gonna 723 00:30:39,640 --> 00:30:41,360 Speaker 3: need to knock down a ton of threes again like 724 00:30:41,360 --> 00:30:43,760 Speaker 3: they did against the Jazz. But I'm with tasks. They're 725 00:30:43,800 --> 00:30:45,720 Speaker 3: not going to be as open, definitely, not as they worry. 726 00:30:45,800 --> 00:30:48,480 Speaker 5: I'm so good at defense exactly. They all play defense. Yeah, 727 00:30:48,760 --> 00:30:50,240 Speaker 5: and they play it on the perimeter, which is big, 728 00:30:50,280 --> 00:30:52,480 Speaker 5: which I'm with you, Lee. I think Eighton is definitely 729 00:30:52,560 --> 00:30:55,320 Speaker 5: the X factor here. He wasn't very good against the 730 00:30:55,400 --> 00:30:58,600 Speaker 5: Mavericks during the regular season. He shot sixty percent, which 731 00:30:58,600 --> 00:31:01,080 Speaker 5: is nice, but only thirteen points per game. Just he 732 00:31:01,120 --> 00:31:03,640 Speaker 5: needs to shoot the ball, you know, because the Sons 733 00:31:03,760 --> 00:31:05,720 Speaker 5: do not have a small ball lineup. Really, they don't 734 00:31:05,720 --> 00:31:07,480 Speaker 5: have a small ball center, and the MAVs are at 735 00:31:07,520 --> 00:31:09,240 Speaker 5: their best when they're playing small. But Eaton should be 736 00:31:09,280 --> 00:31:12,040 Speaker 5: able to punish that. And he's a lot more talented 737 00:31:12,120 --> 00:31:15,280 Speaker 5: than Gobert is offensively, but there are just times when 738 00:31:15,360 --> 00:31:17,880 Speaker 5: he drifts and doesn't impose his will inside. If he's 739 00:31:17,920 --> 00:31:19,960 Speaker 5: able to be consistent for this entire game, that's a 740 00:31:20,080 --> 00:31:21,000 Speaker 5: huge win for the Suns. 741 00:31:21,360 --> 00:31:24,280 Speaker 8: I'm really excited to see Bridges and Doncic go big time. 742 00:31:24,400 --> 00:31:27,760 Speaker 8: Those arms of Mike McHale Bridges. I know, I know, 743 00:31:28,320 --> 00:31:32,040 Speaker 8: I know, I make Bridges, Mikale. There's a football player 744 00:31:32,080 --> 00:31:34,400 Speaker 8: called Michael Bridges who used to play anyway soccer. 745 00:31:34,680 --> 00:31:34,880 Speaker 4: Ah. 746 00:31:35,240 --> 00:31:38,440 Speaker 8: But but but this is the sort of challenge for 747 00:31:38,560 --> 00:31:40,920 Speaker 8: Bridges is going to be like I want Doncic. I 748 00:31:40,960 --> 00:31:42,480 Speaker 8: want to be at the guy who sort of shuts 749 00:31:42,560 --> 00:31:44,320 Speaker 8: him down and slows him down. Now, he won't shut 750 00:31:44,400 --> 00:31:46,560 Speaker 8: him down, but he can certainly make life difficult for 751 00:31:46,680 --> 00:31:49,840 Speaker 8: him because he's so athletic, he's so long, and he's quick, 752 00:31:49,920 --> 00:31:52,520 Speaker 8: and don't you just still got this Kyle Anderson pace 753 00:31:52,680 --> 00:31:55,280 Speaker 8: that can still fool the other defenders to getting those 754 00:31:55,280 --> 00:31:55,800 Speaker 8: shots off. 755 00:31:56,440 --> 00:31:57,680 Speaker 4: But that should be really exciting. 756 00:31:57,880 --> 00:32:00,960 Speaker 8: I know Tim Cato mentioned he wonders if they might 757 00:32:01,040 --> 00:32:03,520 Speaker 8: put Brunson. Bridges on Brunson because they were full of 758 00:32:03,520 --> 00:32:04,880 Speaker 8: the college team might say no, he's had a plan 759 00:32:05,000 --> 00:32:07,440 Speaker 8: and almost stifle that second man first. 760 00:32:07,520 --> 00:32:08,040 Speaker 4: I don't think so. 761 00:32:08,080 --> 00:32:10,000 Speaker 8: I bet maybe at some point in the series we'll 762 00:32:10,000 --> 00:32:11,760 Speaker 8: see it. If Brunson is having one of, you know, 763 00:32:11,920 --> 00:32:13,040 Speaker 8: one of those really good games. 764 00:32:13,120 --> 00:32:15,080 Speaker 3: Well, this is what Tass was talking about, Like, can 765 00:32:15,160 --> 00:32:17,440 Speaker 3: Brunson play much better than he just played in a 766 00:32:17,520 --> 00:32:20,040 Speaker 3: six game series? I mean the guy ever's twenty eight 767 00:32:20,080 --> 00:32:22,800 Speaker 3: points per game, I mean's four and four, Like he shot, 768 00:32:22,920 --> 00:32:25,000 Speaker 3: you know, forty eight percent from the floor, decent from 769 00:32:25,040 --> 00:32:28,720 Speaker 3: three on a lot of attempts, thirty six percent from downtown. 770 00:32:29,240 --> 00:32:31,920 Speaker 3: Like I don't think Brunson has another level to him here. 771 00:32:32,040 --> 00:32:34,440 Speaker 3: But you're you're asking, I think you are having to 772 00:32:34,520 --> 00:32:37,040 Speaker 3: ask a lot, like you gotta be this twenty five 773 00:32:37,960 --> 00:32:39,960 Speaker 3: a night, twenty five to thirty here for us to 774 00:32:40,240 --> 00:32:41,959 Speaker 3: win for these games against the Suns and pull off 775 00:32:41,960 --> 00:32:44,080 Speaker 3: the upset. I mean, I'm with you, I agree with 776 00:32:44,200 --> 00:32:46,760 Speaker 3: what you're saying, but that's that's a lot to ask 777 00:32:46,800 --> 00:32:47,160 Speaker 3: for this guy. 778 00:32:47,200 --> 00:32:49,600 Speaker 2: I think, yeah, And those numbers would be a heck 779 00:32:49,640 --> 00:32:51,960 Speaker 2: of accomplishment without Luca there because he wasn't there for 780 00:32:52,040 --> 00:32:54,120 Speaker 2: half the series, so he had the ability to right 781 00:32:54,320 --> 00:32:57,000 Speaker 2: just go for forty so if he got If he 782 00:32:57,040 --> 00:33:02,160 Speaker 2: gets those numbers, then that's the MAVs recipe for me, 783 00:33:02,360 --> 00:33:04,840 Speaker 2: because I don't think they're gonna outscore DeAndre Ayton on 784 00:33:04,880 --> 00:33:08,640 Speaker 2: the inside and Luca is gonna have mckel bridges on him. 785 00:33:08,640 --> 00:33:12,800 Speaker 2: I think John Brunson has to hopefully be able to 786 00:33:12,840 --> 00:33:15,240 Speaker 2: take that Chris Paul matchup or that Devin Booker matchup 787 00:33:16,000 --> 00:33:18,920 Speaker 2: and lack his lips and go at it and create 788 00:33:19,000 --> 00:33:20,880 Speaker 2: for others as well. I think Luca's gonna trust Brunson. 789 00:33:20,880 --> 00:33:22,600 Speaker 2: I think he did a good job of trusting his 790 00:33:22,720 --> 00:33:24,800 Speaker 2: other guys in four five six when he came back. 791 00:33:25,520 --> 00:33:27,880 Speaker 2: But that's the key for me is Brunson being able 792 00:33:27,960 --> 00:33:28,440 Speaker 2: to go off. 793 00:33:29,320 --> 00:33:31,440 Speaker 3: It's just like so funny to think, Like imagine going 794 00:33:31,520 --> 00:33:35,200 Speaker 3: from going around Mike Conley for a series to then 795 00:33:35,920 --> 00:33:38,840 Speaker 3: you know, yeah, Chris Paul, even Booker who puts in 796 00:33:38,920 --> 00:33:41,280 Speaker 3: a lot more defensively. I thought he had a great 797 00:33:41,280 --> 00:33:43,960 Speaker 3: little stop on Ingram there last night down the stretch actually, 798 00:33:44,000 --> 00:33:45,840 Speaker 3: like really it made it difficult at least Ringham try 799 00:33:45,840 --> 00:33:48,400 Speaker 3: and hit a shot. That's gonna be a bit of 800 00:33:48,480 --> 00:33:51,240 Speaker 3: a change. Cam Johnson, Yeah, great point. Okay, well let's 801 00:33:51,240 --> 00:33:56,760 Speaker 3: start making predictions on this Suns. Mavericks task has started. 802 00:33:58,120 --> 00:34:00,240 Speaker 2: I can't bet against the Phoenix Suns. I think, yeah, 803 00:34:00,280 --> 00:34:02,840 Speaker 2: that first round series was such a nice little warm 804 00:34:02,920 --> 00:34:06,440 Speaker 2: up for them. They have these three days off, they 805 00:34:06,520 --> 00:34:08,800 Speaker 2: will be as close to one hundred percent as possible. 806 00:34:09,600 --> 00:34:12,320 Speaker 2: And uh yeah, kel Bridge is a good matchup. I 807 00:34:12,400 --> 00:34:14,640 Speaker 2: know Luca has that change of pace, but mckel Bridges 808 00:34:14,640 --> 00:34:17,160 Speaker 2: also has a change of pace, like you can't can't 809 00:34:17,160 --> 00:34:19,440 Speaker 2: shake that, dude. I mean, he is going to be 810 00:34:19,680 --> 00:34:22,920 Speaker 2: on him as much as the Phoenix Suns can possibly 811 00:34:23,120 --> 00:34:24,680 Speaker 2: get him to stick on him. 812 00:34:24,719 --> 00:34:26,680 Speaker 3: So Luca could try and get him him. You could 813 00:34:26,680 --> 00:34:30,279 Speaker 3: get him into foul trouble with his just physicality. I think, 814 00:34:30,320 --> 00:34:32,200 Speaker 3: you know, it's the one thing that Bridges isn't going 815 00:34:32,239 --> 00:34:34,239 Speaker 3: to have on him in terms of the size, you know. 816 00:34:34,880 --> 00:34:37,239 Speaker 3: But he's a smart defender, so he picks up a 817 00:34:37,280 --> 00:34:40,480 Speaker 3: couple quick, cheap ones. I'm sure he'll adapt, but sorry. 818 00:34:40,560 --> 00:34:42,960 Speaker 2: I do all yeah. I wonder if Luca, I say, 819 00:34:43,000 --> 00:34:44,839 Speaker 2: he's going to trust his guys. I hope he does, 820 00:34:45,160 --> 00:34:47,560 Speaker 2: because this is Luca in round two for the first time. 821 00:34:47,680 --> 00:34:51,720 Speaker 2: Very exciting. I thought he tends to get a deany 822 00:34:51,800 --> 00:34:54,759 Speaker 2: bitch shot happy, and that happened a little bit in 823 00:34:54,840 --> 00:34:57,279 Speaker 2: Game six, and I hope for his sake, in the 824 00:34:57,280 --> 00:34:58,560 Speaker 2: mats sake, they're going to get the most out of 825 00:34:58,560 --> 00:35:01,120 Speaker 2: their team. I think if he is trusting again, of 826 00:35:01,320 --> 00:35:04,960 Speaker 2: all the guys, Brunson, Dinwiddie and Dorian Finney Smith who 827 00:35:05,400 --> 00:35:08,799 Speaker 2: I love the DFS acronym. It's fun to say daily 828 00:35:08,840 --> 00:35:12,960 Speaker 2: Fantasy Sports Daily Fantasy Sports. Wow, I've never thought of that. 829 00:35:14,320 --> 00:35:20,680 Speaker 2: I always think of DMX. I always think, yeah, let's 830 00:35:20,719 --> 00:35:23,719 Speaker 2: go too, they should play that in the arena. Yeah, 831 00:35:23,880 --> 00:35:27,440 Speaker 2: I guess if they're left they should. Anyway, I got 832 00:35:27,520 --> 00:35:30,040 Speaker 2: the Sons being able to shut down Luca and Friends 833 00:35:30,080 --> 00:35:31,680 Speaker 2: and being out being able to get to those three 834 00:35:31,680 --> 00:35:32,759 Speaker 2: point shooters. Give me in six. 835 00:35:32,920 --> 00:35:34,719 Speaker 3: Okay, Sons and six Trail, let's go to you next. 836 00:35:34,800 --> 00:35:36,799 Speaker 5: I'm right with Tass. I think it's Sons and six. 837 00:35:36,880 --> 00:35:39,319 Speaker 5: They've been the best team this entire year. I think 838 00:35:39,400 --> 00:35:42,000 Speaker 5: that they match up well enough against the Mavericks to 839 00:35:42,080 --> 00:35:45,640 Speaker 5: continue that. And I think that the Mavericks are going 840 00:35:45,680 --> 00:35:47,920 Speaker 5: to find it a lot harder playing against Phoenix than 841 00:35:47,960 --> 00:35:50,719 Speaker 5: they do or than they did against the Jazz. One 842 00:35:50,760 --> 00:35:52,800 Speaker 5: more question, though, is that Jay Crowder will actually be 843 00:35:52,840 --> 00:35:55,279 Speaker 5: able to shoot the ball. He finished three for twenty six. 844 00:35:56,160 --> 00:35:56,600 Speaker 3: He's due. 845 00:35:56,800 --> 00:35:57,560 Speaker 5: Yeah, he's doing. 846 00:35:59,160 --> 00:36:02,480 Speaker 3: We're even talk about the FJ crowd that they acquired 847 00:36:02,640 --> 00:36:03,920 Speaker 3: during the game, who were wearing. 848 00:36:04,440 --> 00:36:06,759 Speaker 5: But I also do think the mouse can shoot the ball, 849 00:36:06,840 --> 00:36:08,720 Speaker 5: you know, yeah, like and they if they're hitting threes, 850 00:36:08,800 --> 00:36:11,640 Speaker 5: that's a huge swing stat in their favor. 851 00:36:12,000 --> 00:36:14,200 Speaker 8: Yeah, Jay Crows having five threes in Game one, he 852 00:36:14,320 --> 00:36:18,120 Speaker 8: just did five to five, probably calling it, but look, 853 00:36:18,160 --> 00:36:20,360 Speaker 8: Phoenix swept him in the regular season. Does that mean anything? 854 00:36:20,520 --> 00:36:22,960 Speaker 8: Probably not, Maybe it does, who knows. I just think 855 00:36:23,040 --> 00:36:25,319 Speaker 8: seeing Devin book A back last night sort of thought 856 00:36:25,400 --> 00:36:26,880 Speaker 8: made me feel like he's gonna get a couple of 857 00:36:26,960 --> 00:36:29,160 Speaker 8: days rest. Yeah, they're at full strength there at home. 858 00:36:29,520 --> 00:36:31,960 Speaker 8: I love the eight advantage they have there. So I'll 859 00:36:32,040 --> 00:36:33,439 Speaker 8: also be on the Suns in six. 860 00:36:33,640 --> 00:36:38,520 Speaker 3: Okay, wow, I seriously contemplated Sons in four straight sweep, 861 00:36:39,080 --> 00:36:41,279 Speaker 3: but split the difference with you guys. I'll go Sons 862 00:36:41,280 --> 00:36:43,680 Speaker 3: in five. I actually think they're gonna be dominant. I 863 00:36:43,800 --> 00:36:45,759 Speaker 3: loved what happened in the first round against Pelicans, said 864 00:36:45,800 --> 00:36:47,920 Speaker 3: that time and time again, and it's going to be 865 00:36:47,960 --> 00:36:49,960 Speaker 3: a rude awakening for the Masks. Also, they're playing a 866 00:36:50,000 --> 00:36:51,520 Speaker 3: team that can hit threes. This is the other part. 867 00:36:51,560 --> 00:36:54,120 Speaker 3: The Jazz could not hit a three in this series 868 00:36:54,160 --> 00:36:56,360 Speaker 3: against them. There were looks they were there, but they 869 00:36:56,440 --> 00:36:58,960 Speaker 3: couldn't knock them down consistently. That's not gonna be the 870 00:36:59,040 --> 00:37:01,680 Speaker 3: case with the Suns. And yeah, Booker barely really even 871 00:37:01,719 --> 00:37:03,320 Speaker 3: talked about him. There are gonna be times in a 872 00:37:03,360 --> 00:37:05,640 Speaker 3: series where oh yeah, he's the best player actually out 873 00:37:05,680 --> 00:37:07,160 Speaker 3: there on the floor. And that's with Luca, and that's 874 00:37:07,160 --> 00:37:09,200 Speaker 3: with Chris Pall and stuff like that. So I'll go 875 00:37:09,320 --> 00:37:12,840 Speaker 3: Sons in five but close games, which is gonna favorite 876 00:37:12,840 --> 00:37:14,600 Speaker 3: Phoenix as well. That's the other part. I mean, these 877 00:37:14,600 --> 00:37:17,200 Speaker 3: are close games. You got Chris paulin Booker making these decisions? 878 00:37:17,520 --> 00:37:19,560 Speaker 3: Have they even? I mean, yeah, look, Luca does go 879 00:37:19,640 --> 00:37:21,360 Speaker 3: for the home run shot a little too much for 880 00:37:21,480 --> 00:37:23,719 Speaker 3: my liking. But then he then he'll he'll go yard 881 00:37:23,760 --> 00:37:26,759 Speaker 3: a couple of times. You're like, wow, holy crap. But 882 00:37:27,160 --> 00:37:28,279 Speaker 3: you know he's robbed Deer. 883 00:37:28,360 --> 00:37:28,680 Speaker 2: You know he. 884 00:37:31,800 --> 00:37:34,399 Speaker 3: Goes down with us, rightw you remember rob Deer? 885 00:37:34,800 --> 00:37:35,600 Speaker 2: But I remember. 886 00:37:39,160 --> 00:37:41,440 Speaker 4: I hadn't in fantasy I had him in Fantasy Baseball. 887 00:37:41,640 --> 00:37:47,480 Speaker 4: I swear Homan to deep left first base. 888 00:37:47,840 --> 00:37:48,120 Speaker 2: He was. 889 00:37:48,480 --> 00:37:50,719 Speaker 4: I loved him in Fantasy baseball deep left. 890 00:37:50,840 --> 00:37:52,520 Speaker 7: He's he's a lefty hitter. 891 00:37:55,480 --> 00:37:59,560 Speaker 2: I don't know. Maybe I'm thinking of Paul O'Neill man. 892 00:37:59,640 --> 00:38:01,120 Speaker 4: He just harm but non stop. 893 00:38:03,719 --> 00:38:09,279 Speaker 3: His name is Paul Crokinole. You ever played that great game? 894 00:38:10,480 --> 00:38:14,160 Speaker 2: Ali and Kirk is the new Paul kernerco Okay, all. 895 00:38:14,160 --> 00:38:15,879 Speaker 3: Right, I got Sons in five. These guys got sons 896 00:38:15,920 --> 00:38:17,440 Speaker 3: and six. Let's hear from you guys out there in 897 00:38:17,520 --> 00:38:20,640 Speaker 3: the stream. Team listening later, tweet at us your predictions. 898 00:38:20,680 --> 00:38:23,399 Speaker 3: Four Suns, MAVs get started early next week. 899 00:38:23,760 --> 00:38:29,560 Speaker 2: Baseball Ball, Baseball media day photos way better than basketball. Yeah, photos, 900 00:38:29,600 --> 00:38:31,920 Speaker 2: you can just get more of a breadth of player 901 00:38:32,239 --> 00:38:32,759 Speaker 2: because they just. 902 00:38:32,760 --> 00:38:34,920 Speaker 3: Look like that guy that I'm looking at your screen 903 00:38:35,000 --> 00:38:36,960 Speaker 3: right now. Maybe we'll send it to JD and have 904 00:38:37,040 --> 00:38:39,719 Speaker 3: a look at it after the break. This guy that 905 00:38:39,840 --> 00:38:42,120 Speaker 3: looks like he's got nice lawn and you know he's 906 00:38:42,160 --> 00:38:44,960 Speaker 3: got two kids, and it just looks like a dude 907 00:38:45,040 --> 00:38:48,480 Speaker 3: that I see in my neighborhood. Anyway, we'll take our 908 00:38:48,560 --> 00:38:51,200 Speaker 3: first break and then get into the Eastern Conference game 909 00:38:51,239 --> 00:38:53,680 Speaker 3: from last night unfortunately, and then look ahead. Two six 910 00:38:53,760 --> 00:38:56,719 Speaker 3: Ers heat, don't go anywhere all right. Back in the 911 00:38:56,760 --> 00:38:59,759 Speaker 3: Classic Factory here drop podcasts on a Friday, Let's talk 912 00:38:59,760 --> 00:39:04,040 Speaker 3: about the shitty game from last Jewel and Bie scored 913 00:39:04,200 --> 00:39:07,880 Speaker 3: thirty three as the Sixers finish off the Raps in 914 00:39:08,040 --> 00:39:13,000 Speaker 3: Game six, final score one thirty two to ninety seven, 915 00:39:13,640 --> 00:39:17,480 Speaker 3: and Test we got the Raptors unfortunately unfortunately with their 916 00:39:17,520 --> 00:39:20,520 Speaker 3: patented third quarter collapse where they just can't score, and 917 00:39:20,840 --> 00:39:24,000 Speaker 3: the Sixers have broke things open in really the middle 918 00:39:24,000 --> 00:39:25,400 Speaker 3: of that third quarter they went on a twenty two 919 00:39:25,440 --> 00:39:27,800 Speaker 3: to three run. Raps couldn't score for like four or 920 00:39:27,880 --> 00:39:30,120 Speaker 3: five minutes. I think they hit one bucket over like 921 00:39:30,200 --> 00:39:34,120 Speaker 3: a seven minute stretch. Maxie hitting threes, feeling good. And 922 00:39:34,160 --> 00:39:36,839 Speaker 3: then Philly led by twenty with like you know, five 923 00:39:36,880 --> 00:39:39,480 Speaker 3: minutes ago in the third quarter, and it was Ova 924 00:39:39,719 --> 00:39:42,160 Speaker 3: Ova and it was tough to watch obviously as a 925 00:39:42,239 --> 00:39:45,760 Speaker 3: Raps fan, and everybody wanted a game seven and Philly's 926 00:39:45,760 --> 00:39:49,400 Speaker 3: Big four. They said, no, we're not going back to Philly. 927 00:39:49,480 --> 00:39:51,359 Speaker 3: They're gonna boo us there. We got to win this game. 928 00:39:52,040 --> 00:39:54,000 Speaker 3: But Joel and b thirty three and ten herded twenty 929 00:39:54,040 --> 00:39:55,400 Speaker 3: two and fifteen. I thought this was the best he 930 00:39:55,480 --> 00:39:58,279 Speaker 3: had played in the series. Maxie again back to like 931 00:39:58,800 --> 00:40:00,880 Speaker 3: early Maxie in the series, twenty five points, five to 932 00:40:00,920 --> 00:40:03,000 Speaker 3: twelve from deep and then Tobias Harris, who was really 933 00:40:03,040 --> 00:40:05,840 Speaker 3: consistent all serious long for the most part nineteen and eleven. 934 00:40:06,120 --> 00:40:09,080 Speaker 3: And then you had Danny Green splash in threes as 935 00:40:09,200 --> 00:40:11,279 Speaker 3: the you know, the crap cherry on top of that 936 00:40:11,360 --> 00:40:14,360 Speaker 3: six er Sunday for me, so everybody played well, and 937 00:40:14,440 --> 00:40:16,879 Speaker 3: they and the Raptors, they just couldn't stay in front 938 00:40:16,920 --> 00:40:21,480 Speaker 3: of a single Sixers attacker, I thought last night, and 939 00:40:21,560 --> 00:40:22,160 Speaker 3: they got hammered. 940 00:40:22,719 --> 00:40:24,839 Speaker 2: Yeah, the Sexers came out of the locker room and said, 941 00:40:25,400 --> 00:40:27,160 Speaker 2: we're finishing the series right here, right now. Yeah, the 942 00:40:27,360 --> 00:40:29,719 Speaker 2: Raps couldn't stay in front of anyone. A lot of 943 00:40:29,800 --> 00:40:32,319 Speaker 2: it was there's so many guys coming at us. They 944 00:40:32,360 --> 00:40:35,320 Speaker 2: had several guys coming at them, even though they scored 945 00:40:35,320 --> 00:40:37,560 Speaker 2: one hundred to thirty two points. I do think this 946 00:40:37,680 --> 00:40:40,920 Speaker 2: game was lost in the fact that there's just not 947 00:40:41,200 --> 00:40:44,600 Speaker 2: enough shooting around Pascal Siak and he was the point 948 00:40:44,600 --> 00:40:47,560 Speaker 2: guard getting into the lane, and nobody really wanted to 949 00:40:47,680 --> 00:40:49,880 Speaker 2: let it rip from the outside because they weren't comfortable 950 00:40:49,920 --> 00:40:52,240 Speaker 2: hitting shots. That's where they missed, Fred van Vliet. Sometimes 951 00:40:52,320 --> 00:40:55,720 Speaker 2: you're going to get these big offensive games from talented 952 00:40:55,800 --> 00:40:58,960 Speaker 2: guys in the NBA like Embiid and as you said, 953 00:40:59,000 --> 00:41:02,399 Speaker 2: Harden his best game and Maxie who's come and played 954 00:41:02,440 --> 00:41:06,040 Speaker 2: at another level. The Danny Green shots were definitely Dagger 955 00:41:06,200 --> 00:41:08,720 Speaker 2: Danny's because if you make them put it on the floor, 956 00:41:09,120 --> 00:41:10,560 Speaker 2: like the Raps what we were doing. They were getting 957 00:41:10,600 --> 00:41:12,600 Speaker 2: out to him on the defensive end, he had to 958 00:41:12,600 --> 00:41:14,280 Speaker 2: put down a dribble and he was still hitting shots. 959 00:41:14,320 --> 00:41:16,839 Speaker 2: This was one of those special Danny games and those 960 00:41:16,880 --> 00:41:20,719 Speaker 2: were big points I think as the game went on. Yeah, 961 00:41:21,520 --> 00:41:24,000 Speaker 2: not enough shooting. Great season though, but that was us 962 00:41:24,040 --> 00:41:26,720 Speaker 2: fans still waiting. They're still waiting until that final buzzer, 963 00:41:26,840 --> 00:41:30,360 Speaker 2: until they checked everybody out. Great fans up there and 964 00:41:30,400 --> 00:41:32,120 Speaker 2: to around, even though they've priced out a bunch of them. 965 00:41:32,160 --> 00:41:34,839 Speaker 3: And I know, I thought the crowd sucked. I'm gonna 966 00:41:34,840 --> 00:41:37,759 Speaker 3: say it. Compare that crowd last night. I'm talking about 967 00:41:37,760 --> 00:41:40,280 Speaker 3: the first half when it was still a game. Compare 968 00:41:40,320 --> 00:41:42,000 Speaker 3: that to what was going on in New Orleans and 969 00:41:42,160 --> 00:41:44,920 Speaker 3: even Utah. It was night and day. It was jarring 970 00:41:45,040 --> 00:41:47,839 Speaker 3: going from that game to those other games. The electricity, 971 00:41:47,960 --> 00:41:48,879 Speaker 3: the hype in the crowd. 972 00:41:48,920 --> 00:41:49,880 Speaker 7: I thought it was scary. 973 00:41:51,719 --> 00:41:54,200 Speaker 3: They stuck around, gave him the ovation that I think 974 00:41:54,239 --> 00:41:56,839 Speaker 3: the team deserved from a good season and coming back 975 00:41:56,880 --> 00:41:59,160 Speaker 3: obviously from Tampa and all that. Kudos to those people, 976 00:41:59,239 --> 00:42:02,640 Speaker 3: but I thought it was pretty brutal. Am I wrong. 977 00:42:03,200 --> 00:42:06,600 Speaker 2: It wasn't translated, but some butt squeezing. 978 00:42:06,840 --> 00:42:10,520 Speaker 3: Yeah, that was a that's a weird game to be 979 00:42:10,600 --> 00:42:13,240 Speaker 3: butt squeezing because you're down three zero in the series. 980 00:42:13,320 --> 00:42:14,839 Speaker 3: Like we thought this was going to be a zoo 981 00:42:14,960 --> 00:42:17,759 Speaker 3: up there, and it wasn't. It was and I think 982 00:42:17,800 --> 00:42:20,200 Speaker 3: petting zoo it was brutal in my opinion. I didn't 983 00:42:20,200 --> 00:42:22,120 Speaker 3: think they brought it and it was a classic third quarter. 984 00:42:22,239 --> 00:42:24,000 Speaker 3: Nobody back in their seats, and that's when the Sixers 985 00:42:24,080 --> 00:42:26,319 Speaker 3: going there runs like, I mean, you set your watch 986 00:42:26,360 --> 00:42:29,440 Speaker 3: by it. It's amazing. But uh, the Sixers played an 987 00:42:29,520 --> 00:42:31,440 Speaker 3: incredible game, and maybe that's a big part of it. 988 00:42:31,520 --> 00:42:34,319 Speaker 3: It's like they helped take the crowd out of it. Yeah, 989 00:42:34,320 --> 00:42:35,680 Speaker 3: but I just don't think they were really even there 990 00:42:35,719 --> 00:42:37,920 Speaker 3: from the jump. But maybe it's seven o'clock start got 991 00:42:38,000 --> 00:42:38,799 Speaker 3: him in Toronto there. 992 00:42:38,760 --> 00:42:42,880 Speaker 5: Tak Yeah, I think that. I think the problem was 993 00:42:42,920 --> 00:42:44,799 Speaker 5: that Harden was too good last night. Yeah, that guy 994 00:42:44,960 --> 00:42:47,080 Speaker 5: was he That was like the Harden that you're expecting 995 00:42:47,200 --> 00:42:49,320 Speaker 5: if you trade it for him in Philadelphia. And I 996 00:42:49,360 --> 00:42:51,480 Speaker 5: thought they had just a smart game plan where they 997 00:42:51,480 --> 00:42:53,239 Speaker 5: would run a pick and roll, they would get Gary 998 00:42:53,280 --> 00:42:55,759 Speaker 5: Trent Junior onto James Harden and then they would bring 999 00:42:55,840 --> 00:42:58,440 Speaker 5: Joel and beat up because Gary Trent Junior is much 1000 00:42:58,480 --> 00:43:01,279 Speaker 5: smaller than Embiid them off and then it's just a 1001 00:43:01,360 --> 00:43:03,080 Speaker 5: runway to the rim for Harden. So I thought that 1002 00:43:03,160 --> 00:43:05,880 Speaker 5: was pretty smart from Doc Rivers. Shout out to that 1003 00:43:05,960 --> 00:43:08,600 Speaker 5: coaching adjustment. Oh from Doc, he was right, man. The 1004 00:43:08,680 --> 00:43:11,839 Speaker 5: Sixers did have another playoff gear here, and it came 1005 00:43:11,880 --> 00:43:13,480 Speaker 5: out in the second half. They won the second half 1006 00:43:13,520 --> 00:43:15,880 Speaker 5: by thirty four p Yes, that's wild, Like this was 1007 00:43:16,040 --> 00:43:18,960 Speaker 5: a close game at halftime, even if the crowd wasn't bumping. 1008 00:43:19,040 --> 00:43:21,400 Speaker 5: But sometimes you just got to have your worst playoff 1009 00:43:21,440 --> 00:43:23,600 Speaker 5: loss at home in franchise history. It happens to everyone. 1010 00:43:23,680 --> 00:43:26,839 Speaker 3: Huh you know, yeah, I mean even I'll admit as 1011 00:43:26,840 --> 00:43:28,279 Speaker 3: a Rabs fan. In the first half, when it was 1012 00:43:28,320 --> 00:43:30,279 Speaker 3: a one point game, it was first off, way too 1013 00:43:30,360 --> 00:43:32,040 Speaker 3: high scoring for the Raps to really win it. It 1014 00:43:32,120 --> 00:43:33,759 Speaker 3: was like in the sixties, right, It was sixty one 1015 00:43:33,800 --> 00:43:35,719 Speaker 3: sixty I think at the half. And also it was 1016 00:43:35,840 --> 00:43:38,480 Speaker 3: like Chris Bouchet was the best player for the Raptors. 1017 00:43:38,520 --> 00:43:40,600 Speaker 3: It was like, Okay, he's killing it, doing work on 1018 00:43:40,640 --> 00:43:42,919 Speaker 3: the boards, keeping them alive. And then Gary Trent Junior 1019 00:43:42,960 --> 00:43:45,239 Speaker 3: was hitting shots and it was like, ooh, I'm not 1020 00:43:45,320 --> 00:43:47,399 Speaker 3: sure I like the Raps chances lee in the second half, 1021 00:43:47,520 --> 00:43:49,879 Speaker 3: if Bouche and Gary Trent Junior are the ones sort 1022 00:43:49,880 --> 00:43:52,359 Speaker 3: of leading the team. Siakam had a good overall game, 1023 00:43:52,560 --> 00:43:54,839 Speaker 3: but it was a bunch of Opers from a whole 1024 00:43:54,880 --> 00:43:56,960 Speaker 3: bunch of the other guys unfortunately. Yeah, you know Og 1025 00:43:57,120 --> 00:43:58,080 Speaker 3: and Precious and stuff like that. 1026 00:43:58,280 --> 00:44:01,040 Speaker 8: Yeah, I think that Philadelphia to assist in this game, 1027 00:44:01,120 --> 00:44:03,000 Speaker 8: that's the most in the whole series. And they had 1028 00:44:03,000 --> 00:44:04,680 Speaker 8: twenty nine in Game one and the other blowout. So 1029 00:44:04,800 --> 00:44:07,400 Speaker 8: when they moved that ball, they're just way more effective 1030 00:44:07,400 --> 00:44:09,560 Speaker 8: on the offensive end, and Danny Green he kept them 1031 00:44:09,600 --> 00:44:12,000 Speaker 8: in in the second quarter. It is all four really then, 1032 00:44:12,080 --> 00:44:13,680 Speaker 8: and that was kind of like, all right, if Danny 1033 00:44:13,719 --> 00:44:16,440 Speaker 8: Green's doing that, you've got to capitalize on that for 1034 00:44:16,480 --> 00:44:18,480 Speaker 8: the Raptors, and they just weren't able to. And then 1035 00:44:18,600 --> 00:44:20,399 Speaker 8: in that little run Maxie I thought was really good. 1036 00:44:20,400 --> 00:44:21,960 Speaker 8: He hit a couple of threes and he pushed the 1037 00:44:22,040 --> 00:44:24,600 Speaker 8: pace as well. Harris got the corner three, and that 1038 00:44:24,719 --> 00:44:26,960 Speaker 8: sort of light was like, Hey, just run at these 1039 00:44:27,000 --> 00:44:28,600 Speaker 8: guys and see if you can break them down because 1040 00:44:28,600 --> 00:44:30,800 Speaker 8: they they've been playing heavy minutes. The Raptors, no excuses, 1041 00:44:30,800 --> 00:44:33,320 Speaker 8: they've been playing heavy minutes though, And I think that 1042 00:44:33,440 --> 00:44:34,680 Speaker 8: sort of just caught up to them a little bit. 1043 00:44:34,719 --> 00:44:37,520 Speaker 4: They didn't have the legs. And Precious he's been a 1044 00:44:37,560 --> 00:44:40,279 Speaker 4: little he's been good in this series. Oh yeah, it 1045 00:44:40,400 --> 00:44:42,160 Speaker 4: wasn't good last night, not at all. 1046 00:44:42,960 --> 00:44:44,920 Speaker 8: And Og I didn't think he was okay, but he 1047 00:44:44,960 --> 00:44:46,640 Speaker 8: didn't really have it last night. 1048 00:44:46,680 --> 00:44:49,319 Speaker 3: I didn't think so troubles yeah, yeah. 1049 00:44:49,600 --> 00:44:51,480 Speaker 8: And the Raptors just had to be they had to 1050 00:44:51,520 --> 00:44:53,160 Speaker 8: be like the Suns had to be perfect and they 1051 00:44:53,239 --> 00:44:54,840 Speaker 8: and they were pretty good in the first half, but 1052 00:44:54,960 --> 00:44:57,360 Speaker 8: that third quarter blew it open and Joel embiid he 1053 00:44:57,600 --> 00:44:58,439 Speaker 8: was bottling. 1054 00:44:58,120 --> 00:44:58,560 Speaker 2: It all up. 1055 00:44:58,640 --> 00:44:59,880 Speaker 3: Oh yeah, and we got it. 1056 00:45:00,000 --> 00:45:01,399 Speaker 4: We got the airplane out of him. 1057 00:45:01,800 --> 00:45:04,400 Speaker 8: So congratulations to the Sixers though, because they answered a 1058 00:45:04,440 --> 00:45:07,000 Speaker 8: lot of questions in this game, in this series, they 1059 00:45:07,040 --> 00:45:09,319 Speaker 8: were under the pump for sure. You could feel Doctor 1060 00:45:09,360 --> 00:45:11,520 Speaker 8: Rivers that sort of thing he had with the media. 1061 00:45:11,560 --> 00:45:13,279 Speaker 8: That was him feeling the pressure of like, we don't 1062 00:45:13,280 --> 00:45:15,239 Speaker 8: want to blow it. James Harden hadn't been good. He 1063 00:45:15,360 --> 00:45:18,440 Speaker 8: was much more aggressive, just aggressive last night, like he 1064 00:45:18,600 --> 00:45:21,600 Speaker 8: just hasn't been that. And then you know the fact 1065 00:45:21,640 --> 00:45:23,560 Speaker 8: that they were on the road, the Raptors were like 1066 00:45:23,680 --> 00:45:25,640 Speaker 8: feeling good, everything's going their way, and the sixers have 1067 00:45:25,760 --> 00:45:30,680 Speaker 8: a convincing victory. So congratulations to them. They deserve it, yeap. 1068 00:45:30,800 --> 00:45:33,120 Speaker 3: Moving on, just to wrap up the Raptor season, you 1069 00:45:33,160 --> 00:45:37,000 Speaker 3: said it was a good season. It was, yeah, because 1070 00:45:37,320 --> 00:45:38,880 Speaker 3: for what reasons? What were you pointing at? 1071 00:45:39,600 --> 00:45:42,200 Speaker 2: Well, the over underwent total let's start with that was whatever. 1072 00:45:42,480 --> 00:45:45,319 Speaker 2: Thirty four and a half or so smashed it, Yeah, 1073 00:45:45,960 --> 00:45:48,680 Speaker 2: and they overcame a ton of injuries to get to 1074 00:45:48,800 --> 00:45:51,520 Speaker 2: that mark. It's surprising when you look back at their 1075 00:45:51,560 --> 00:45:54,840 Speaker 2: season and how many guys were out and Fred basically 1076 00:45:54,960 --> 00:45:57,080 Speaker 2: being half a Fred, and you know, the last thirty 1077 00:45:57,120 --> 00:46:01,600 Speaker 2: games of the season, they came together when it was unexpected. 1078 00:46:01,640 --> 00:46:04,799 Speaker 2: Scotty Barnes was the biggest revelation of all of them, 1079 00:46:04,960 --> 00:46:08,560 Speaker 2: being the Roy, the roddy. Some people will say it's 1080 00:46:08,600 --> 00:46:10,399 Speaker 2: a Roy, It's not Rookie of the year. Just say Roy. 1081 00:46:10,440 --> 00:46:14,520 Speaker 2: It's fine that the way he came along and stole 1082 00:46:14,640 --> 00:46:18,640 Speaker 2: the show and added a piece to this Raptors team, 1083 00:46:18,719 --> 00:46:23,080 Speaker 2: that was surprising, even if you were a Masai Ujeri believer, 1084 00:46:23,239 --> 00:46:25,600 Speaker 2: to have Scotty Barnes come out and play this way 1085 00:46:26,280 --> 00:46:29,880 Speaker 2: as a number four pick, that's the biggest revelation of 1086 00:46:29,960 --> 00:46:32,400 Speaker 2: them all. And Pascal Siakam shot up a lot of 1087 00:46:32,440 --> 00:46:36,040 Speaker 2: people with what he did. He came from the season 1088 00:46:36,160 --> 00:46:38,200 Speaker 2: that you know, he was a monster in twenty nineteen 1089 00:46:38,800 --> 00:46:41,359 Speaker 2: and then the Bubble playoffs didn't work out for him, 1090 00:46:41,400 --> 00:46:43,160 Speaker 2: and then last season was a down season, but he 1091 00:46:43,239 --> 00:46:46,000 Speaker 2: came back to be that guy he wasn't in twenty nineteen. 1092 00:46:46,040 --> 00:46:47,440 Speaker 2: Maybe not a number one guy, but if he had 1093 00:46:47,480 --> 00:46:50,440 Speaker 2: shooters around him, things would have been different. In this series, 1094 00:46:50,480 --> 00:46:51,320 Speaker 2: I think, yeah. 1095 00:46:51,239 --> 00:46:52,759 Speaker 3: I would just add to that too. And this is 1096 00:46:52,840 --> 00:46:55,919 Speaker 3: no surprises the Raptors in the organization, but development from 1097 00:46:56,239 --> 00:46:58,480 Speaker 3: Precious a Chua who had a bad game six, no doubt, 1098 00:46:58,520 --> 00:47:01,960 Speaker 3: but got better as the season went on. Bouchet obviously, 1099 00:47:02,080 --> 00:47:04,760 Speaker 3: Gary Trent Junior too, So like you're seeing that development 1100 00:47:04,800 --> 00:47:06,680 Speaker 3: from some of their guys. They avoided the play in 1101 00:47:06,719 --> 00:47:10,040 Speaker 3: tournament and got Scottie Barnes some some reps here like 1102 00:47:10,080 --> 00:47:12,560 Speaker 3: a playoff series, and they made it interesting for an 1103 00:47:12,600 --> 00:47:14,480 Speaker 3: extra week. When they went down three zero and beat 1104 00:47:14,560 --> 00:47:17,400 Speaker 3: Hits that huge three to take that game, you're like, oh, 1105 00:47:17,440 --> 00:47:18,840 Speaker 3: they could have just rolled over and died, and they 1106 00:47:18,920 --> 00:47:20,880 Speaker 3: did it, and they won two games and had a 1107 00:47:20,960 --> 00:47:23,200 Speaker 3: lot of people clearing myself convinced it was at least 1108 00:47:23,239 --> 00:47:25,480 Speaker 3: going seven and they were going to become one of 1109 00:47:25,520 --> 00:47:27,799 Speaker 3: those rare teams to do it. But Sixers just had 1110 00:47:28,000 --> 00:47:30,640 Speaker 3: all their guys led by Embiid two. I loved him 1111 00:47:30,680 --> 00:47:31,120 Speaker 3: say give me. 1112 00:47:31,120 --> 00:47:31,680 Speaker 7: The damp ball. 1113 00:47:31,880 --> 00:47:33,880 Speaker 3: Ye I'm parking my ass right in the paint, and 1114 00:47:33,920 --> 00:47:35,960 Speaker 3: give me the ball. And he was upset at times 1115 00:47:36,000 --> 00:47:38,360 Speaker 3: when it wasn't happening, it was right. And then you're right, Harden, 1116 00:47:38,560 --> 00:47:40,680 Speaker 3: And it's not like we don't need heart, you don't 1117 00:47:40,719 --> 00:47:42,919 Speaker 3: need hard and scoring forty points, you got em beat. 1118 00:47:43,520 --> 00:47:46,160 Speaker 3: You need Harden just being aggressive, heading into the paint 1119 00:47:46,239 --> 00:47:48,479 Speaker 3: and setting up shooters and gett into the line of course. 1120 00:47:48,600 --> 00:47:50,600 Speaker 3: And then when he starts feeling it, well, then you 1121 00:47:50,680 --> 00:47:52,959 Speaker 3: see the old heart and the little bounce back side 1122 00:47:52,960 --> 00:47:54,759 Speaker 3: step three and you hit a couple of those two. 1123 00:47:54,880 --> 00:47:56,880 Speaker 3: So yeah, they you know, they got to go in 1124 00:47:56,920 --> 00:47:58,800 Speaker 3: here for game six. They looked they looked like the 1125 00:47:58,880 --> 00:48:02,239 Speaker 3: much better team the truth. Definitely for the startup series 1126 00:48:02,280 --> 00:48:04,400 Speaker 3: and then of course at the end. But yeah, Raptors 1127 00:48:04,440 --> 00:48:06,359 Speaker 3: game will run at least for their money and gives 1128 00:48:06,440 --> 00:48:09,040 Speaker 3: a couple more shows and games to talk about. Well, 1129 00:48:09,120 --> 00:48:11,560 Speaker 3: let's get into the heat. Sixers preview then let's do it, 1130 00:48:11,640 --> 00:48:15,120 Speaker 3: because this one starts on Monday. Game one, South Florida 1131 00:48:15,560 --> 00:48:18,839 Speaker 3: top seeded Heat, remember beat the Hawks in five, took 1132 00:48:18,880 --> 00:48:21,400 Speaker 3: the six or six games to move on from the Raps, 1133 00:48:21,480 --> 00:48:24,319 Speaker 3: So keys to watch X factors and predictions Tray. 1134 00:48:24,480 --> 00:48:26,280 Speaker 5: I think this one's kind of tough to call because 1135 00:48:26,360 --> 00:48:29,759 Speaker 5: the Sixers have the best player in Joel Embiid. Maybe 1136 00:48:29,800 --> 00:48:31,600 Speaker 5: they could have the best two players depending on what 1137 00:48:31,600 --> 00:48:33,680 Speaker 5: you're getting from James Harden. That's probably a game to 1138 00:48:33,719 --> 00:48:35,560 Speaker 5: game thing. But the Heat definitely have a deeper team, 1139 00:48:35,840 --> 00:48:38,400 Speaker 5: a better coach, They're much more consistent, and they have 1140 00:48:38,600 --> 00:48:40,560 Speaker 5: solid top level talent as well. But I guess the 1141 00:48:40,600 --> 00:48:43,200 Speaker 5: first question is health. I think Jimmy Butler not really 1142 00:48:43,239 --> 00:48:45,600 Speaker 5: anything to worry about. Seemed like he was just resting 1143 00:48:45,640 --> 00:48:47,600 Speaker 5: in Game five. I think it was his first playoff 1144 00:48:47,640 --> 00:48:50,160 Speaker 5: game he ever missed. Still found a way to get 1145 00:48:50,160 --> 00:48:52,360 Speaker 5: a fifteen thousand dollars fine by dropping the humps on 1146 00:48:52,400 --> 00:48:56,040 Speaker 5: the sidelines, so contributing in other ways, which is nice Lowry, 1147 00:48:56,120 --> 00:49:00,160 Speaker 5: though definitely more concerning. Hamstrings are the worst injured to 1148 00:49:00,239 --> 00:49:02,480 Speaker 5: have in the playoffs this season. A lot of hamstrings 1149 00:49:02,560 --> 00:49:05,319 Speaker 5: going around right now. But if Lowry's able to play. 1150 00:49:05,400 --> 00:49:07,880 Speaker 5: The matchups just make sense across the board really for 1151 00:49:08,040 --> 00:49:12,000 Speaker 5: both teams on both sides. Embiaden, Bam Sure, Harden and Butler, sure, 1152 00:49:12,239 --> 00:49:15,200 Speaker 5: Maxi and Lowry. I assume Harris and Tucker, Green and Strue. 1153 00:49:15,520 --> 00:49:17,440 Speaker 5: I've got a lot more faith in Miami's bench. What 1154 00:49:17,520 --> 00:49:19,640 Speaker 5: it comes down to, I think is who shoots threes better. 1155 00:49:19,960 --> 00:49:22,200 Speaker 5: This series was split in the regular season two too. 1156 00:49:22,320 --> 00:49:24,799 Speaker 5: The winning team made more threes in every single one 1157 00:49:24,840 --> 00:49:26,600 Speaker 5: of those games, And it really makes sense when you 1158 00:49:26,680 --> 00:49:28,680 Speaker 5: think about it. The Heat just shoot threes. They like 1159 00:49:28,719 --> 00:49:30,080 Speaker 5: to shoot threes. That's where they get a lot of 1160 00:49:30,120 --> 00:49:32,399 Speaker 5: their offense, and the sixers that's what their role guys 1161 00:49:32,480 --> 00:49:35,160 Speaker 5: have to do. After you collapse on Embiid or Harden 1162 00:49:35,200 --> 00:49:37,319 Speaker 5: gets into the paint and kicks it out. So that's 1163 00:49:37,360 --> 00:49:38,960 Speaker 5: where it's all gonna come down to who is able 1164 00:49:39,000 --> 00:49:41,000 Speaker 5: to get hot from the outside. I do think because 1165 00:49:41,080 --> 00:49:44,200 Speaker 5: both teams are solid defensively and they're gonna make it 1166 00:49:44,280 --> 00:49:46,680 Speaker 5: tough on their opponents. Like you know, the Heat are 1167 00:49:46,719 --> 00:49:48,719 Speaker 5: gonna throw some crazy stuff at Joel Embiid to try 1168 00:49:48,800 --> 00:49:52,000 Speaker 5: and take him out of his game. They'll obviously make 1169 00:49:52,040 --> 00:49:54,480 Speaker 5: it tough on Harden as well, and then the Sixers 1170 00:49:54,560 --> 00:49:57,640 Speaker 5: have just solid defensive talent and Embiden and Thible if 1171 00:49:57,680 --> 00:49:59,400 Speaker 5: he's able to stay on the court. There So this 1172 00:50:00,000 --> 00:50:01,800 Speaker 5: it seems to me to be a really tough series. 1173 00:50:01,800 --> 00:50:03,279 Speaker 5: I think these teams are going to heed each other 1174 00:50:03,800 --> 00:50:05,839 Speaker 5: by the end of the series, no doubt. I look 1175 00:50:05,880 --> 00:50:08,200 Speaker 5: forward to Jimmy Butler and Joel Embiid. I think they 1176 00:50:08,440 --> 00:50:10,839 Speaker 5: like each other. I think Jimmy's a big Joel Embiid fan, 1177 00:50:11,360 --> 00:50:13,080 Speaker 5: but they also love talking trash to each other, so 1178 00:50:13,080 --> 00:50:13,879 Speaker 5: that should be pretty fun. 1179 00:50:13,960 --> 00:50:14,120 Speaker 4: Yeah. 1180 00:50:14,160 --> 00:50:16,400 Speaker 8: Well, I think Embiid wanted them to keep Jimmy gummy, 1181 00:50:16,520 --> 00:50:19,080 Speaker 8: and he sort of has made that clear. And Jimmy 1182 00:50:19,120 --> 00:50:20,680 Speaker 8: has really stepped it up in the playoffs. He did 1183 00:50:20,719 --> 00:50:22,439 Speaker 8: miss that last game, but otherwise he had the forty 1184 00:50:22,480 --> 00:50:24,840 Speaker 8: five point game against the Heat of the Hawks, and 1185 00:50:24,920 --> 00:50:27,680 Speaker 8: he's been shooting that three well, which he doesn't usually shoot, 1186 00:50:27,800 --> 00:50:29,960 Speaker 8: so that's going to be huge. I'm really interested to 1187 00:50:30,000 --> 00:50:32,759 Speaker 8: see the Bam and Joel Embiid oh matchup. If one 1188 00:50:32,800 --> 00:50:34,640 Speaker 8: of those gets the other guy in foul trouble, that's 1189 00:50:34,680 --> 00:50:36,399 Speaker 8: going to leave a huge hole for the other team 1190 00:50:36,800 --> 00:50:40,799 Speaker 8: because they don't really have DeAndre Jordan's not coming out 1191 00:50:40,840 --> 00:50:42,480 Speaker 8: there to cause any problems there for bam So. 1192 00:50:42,840 --> 00:50:44,200 Speaker 4: But the good thing again about. 1193 00:50:43,960 --> 00:50:46,759 Speaker 8: Miami, they don't rely on one guy to have to 1194 00:50:46,840 --> 00:50:49,120 Speaker 8: do that forty five point gun. They've they've got a 1195 00:50:49,280 --> 00:50:52,040 Speaker 8: very good bench. Tyler Hero, you know that gay Vincent 1196 00:50:52,120 --> 00:50:54,440 Speaker 8: Max Strus is going to come off the bench and 1197 00:50:54,640 --> 00:50:56,800 Speaker 8: give them everything. So it's going to come down I 1198 00:50:56,880 --> 00:50:58,960 Speaker 8: think a lot too as well. What those role players like, 1199 00:50:59,040 --> 00:51:00,959 Speaker 8: What was Tyr's Max going to give him in this series? 1200 00:51:01,040 --> 00:51:02,760 Speaker 8: He was really good for a couple of games against 1201 00:51:02,760 --> 00:51:04,399 Speaker 8: the Raptors, not so good in a couple others. 1202 00:51:04,560 --> 00:51:05,200 Speaker 4: But he's quick. 1203 00:51:05,880 --> 00:51:07,880 Speaker 8: For example, a match up against Kyle Larry, he can 1204 00:51:08,239 --> 00:51:10,800 Speaker 8: get past Kyle Larry, I think, But then Vincent and 1205 00:51:10,880 --> 00:51:13,480 Speaker 8: Strets and those guys can probably cause him a few 1206 00:51:13,480 --> 00:51:15,719 Speaker 8: more especial Yeah, they'll get right on his face. So 1207 00:51:15,960 --> 00:51:17,960 Speaker 8: and Tyler Hero, what sort of an impact is he 1208 00:51:18,040 --> 00:51:19,439 Speaker 8: going to have in this series? I think that's gonna 1209 00:51:19,440 --> 00:51:22,440 Speaker 8: be huge. So this one should be a ninety star basketball. 1210 00:51:22,440 --> 00:51:24,640 Speaker 8: I think they're going to be grinding in this know PJ. 1211 00:51:24,800 --> 00:51:26,440 Speaker 8: Tuck is going to want that Joel and Beid match 1212 00:51:26,520 --> 00:51:28,799 Speaker 8: up for a few possessions too. And he's just gonna 1213 00:51:28,840 --> 00:51:29,920 Speaker 8: jump on him and bite him. 1214 00:51:33,800 --> 00:51:36,160 Speaker 3: I'm salivating at the Bam embiid match up here. I 1215 00:51:36,239 --> 00:51:38,440 Speaker 3: think Bam is going to take this one personally, because 1216 00:51:38,880 --> 00:51:40,640 Speaker 3: you know, he feels like he was overlooked in the 1217 00:51:40,680 --> 00:51:42,439 Speaker 3: defensive player at ear and all that, and he's like, Okay, 1218 00:51:42,440 --> 00:51:44,040 Speaker 3: I'll go and shut this guy down. They only met 1219 00:51:44,080 --> 00:51:46,640 Speaker 3: once in the regular season and Bead only shot four 1220 00:51:46,719 --> 00:51:49,080 Speaker 3: or fifteen got his free throws, though he got to 1221 00:51:49,160 --> 00:51:51,959 Speaker 3: twenty two points. But Bam playing them, well, they'll they'll 1222 00:51:52,040 --> 00:51:53,799 Speaker 3: live I think a lot with just Bam playing them 1223 00:51:53,800 --> 00:51:56,600 Speaker 3: straight up. He'll send doubles here there, you know, keep 1224 00:51:56,640 --> 00:51:58,640 Speaker 3: them on his toes and try and force him into turnovers. 1225 00:51:58,680 --> 00:52:01,000 Speaker 3: But they're they're gonna be all calm with Bam being 1226 00:52:01,040 --> 00:52:03,960 Speaker 3: able to quote unquote contain him. And I can't wait 1227 00:52:04,000 --> 00:52:06,040 Speaker 3: to watch that unfold and how Beata handles it. 1228 00:52:06,719 --> 00:52:08,560 Speaker 2: No doubt they're gonna try and do it one on one. 1229 00:52:09,560 --> 00:52:12,719 Speaker 2: This Heat team is still a little bit overlooked to me. 1230 00:52:12,880 --> 00:52:15,480 Speaker 2: Even though they took care of the Hawks when I 1231 00:52:15,600 --> 00:52:18,520 Speaker 2: was in Vegas. They were definitely this second screen experience. 1232 00:52:18,920 --> 00:52:22,560 Speaker 2: They weren't the prime prime spot even though their game 1233 00:52:22,680 --> 00:52:24,840 Speaker 2: was coming to a close in the Wolves and Grizzly 1234 00:52:24,920 --> 00:52:28,759 Speaker 2: still had like a full quarter and the Heat Hawks 1235 00:52:28,800 --> 00:52:31,359 Speaker 2: were just in the last minute, still on the secondary screen. 1236 00:52:31,400 --> 00:52:34,480 Speaker 2: I think people are forgetting Bam is that good? And 1237 00:52:34,920 --> 00:52:37,840 Speaker 2: I think that creates some problems for Tyre's Maxi and 1238 00:52:37,960 --> 00:52:41,320 Speaker 2: for James Harden as well, if you know, you know, 1239 00:52:41,480 --> 00:52:43,719 Speaker 2: unlike that Sixer series where the Raptors had to double 1240 00:52:43,800 --> 00:52:45,279 Speaker 2: them beat, they had to throw so many bodies, and 1241 00:52:45,360 --> 00:52:48,360 Speaker 2: that that I think really helped out Maxi and helped 1242 00:52:48,360 --> 00:52:50,880 Speaker 2: out at Juicy Harden when he when he wanted to 1243 00:52:51,000 --> 00:52:53,040 Speaker 2: when he wanted to play like he did in Game 1244 00:52:53,160 --> 00:52:56,960 Speaker 2: six there. So I think this Heat just have that 1245 00:52:57,080 --> 00:52:59,760 Speaker 2: extra gear that the Sixers showed in Game six against 1246 00:52:59,800 --> 00:53:01,799 Speaker 2: the Red But I don't think they can do it consistently, 1247 00:53:02,040 --> 00:53:05,160 Speaker 2: and so I think that the matchups are a little 1248 00:53:05,160 --> 00:53:07,759 Speaker 2: bit better for the Miami Heat. I think Spolsure is 1249 00:53:07,800 --> 00:53:09,520 Speaker 2: going to go deep on that bench. He's gonna throw 1250 00:53:09,520 --> 00:53:11,160 Speaker 2: out a bunch of guys. As you guys said, Gabe 1251 00:53:11,239 --> 00:53:14,920 Speaker 2: Vincent will probably get some Maxi minutes even though he's 1252 00:53:14,960 --> 00:53:19,080 Speaker 2: not considered the starting guard, depending on what happens with Lowry. 1253 00:53:19,200 --> 00:53:22,160 Speaker 2: I like the week off that Jimmy Butler got. Essentially, 1254 00:53:22,520 --> 00:53:24,879 Speaker 2: he played on Sunday and that was his last game. 1255 00:53:24,920 --> 00:53:26,359 Speaker 2: He's not gonna have to play till Monday, so that's 1256 00:53:26,360 --> 00:53:29,680 Speaker 2: a full seven days there. I think that the heater 1257 00:53:29,880 --> 00:53:32,160 Speaker 2: a little bit fresher and they have a better they 1258 00:53:32,200 --> 00:53:34,799 Speaker 2: have extra gear, they got the depth. Yeah, the three 1259 00:53:34,840 --> 00:53:38,080 Speaker 2: point shot is really interesting what's going to happen there. 1260 00:53:38,760 --> 00:53:40,680 Speaker 2: But I do like the matchups for the Heat in. 1261 00:53:40,680 --> 00:53:45,680 Speaker 3: This one predictions Trey Bunny, this is top I actually, 1262 00:53:46,000 --> 00:53:48,400 Speaker 3: you know, I feel like a lot of these second 1263 00:53:48,520 --> 00:53:51,000 Speaker 3: round matchups. I know we're going to get into Celtics 1264 00:53:51,040 --> 00:53:52,960 Speaker 3: box and make our official predictions in a second row. 1265 00:53:53,200 --> 00:53:56,440 Speaker 3: It's difficult. I'm like, go either way with some of these, 1266 00:53:56,480 --> 00:53:57,440 Speaker 3: but where do you start try? 1267 00:53:57,520 --> 00:53:58,920 Speaker 5: Yeah, I guess people were right. The top four in 1268 00:53:58,920 --> 00:54:01,920 Speaker 5: the Eastern Conference is pretty I hate to see a 1269 00:54:02,000 --> 00:54:03,800 Speaker 5: seven in here. I got Heat in seven, but it 1270 00:54:03,880 --> 00:54:05,680 Speaker 5: makes me feel like such a coward, Like you can't 1271 00:54:05,680 --> 00:54:07,920 Speaker 5: really go either way, Like that's a that's the coward's 1272 00:54:07,960 --> 00:54:09,480 Speaker 5: way of picking a series. But I'm going to Heat 1273 00:54:09,520 --> 00:54:12,400 Speaker 5: in seven. I just have a little bit more faith 1274 00:54:12,560 --> 00:54:15,000 Speaker 5: in in the Heat in a in a do or 1275 00:54:15,040 --> 00:54:17,720 Speaker 5: die situation, and they would also have home court advantage. 1276 00:54:17,760 --> 00:54:19,560 Speaker 5: But there should be a banger of a series. This 1277 00:54:20,000 --> 00:54:20,720 Speaker 5: is the fight series. 1278 00:54:20,880 --> 00:54:24,000 Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, this is the fight series. Somebody maybe misses 1279 00:54:24,040 --> 00:54:25,960 Speaker 3: a game even Oh yeah, throw it out there, let's 1280 00:54:25,960 --> 00:54:26,440 Speaker 3: talk about it. 1281 00:54:26,600 --> 00:54:28,759 Speaker 8: Yeah, well Jimmy in Philadelphia, Yeah, he's going to be 1282 00:54:28,800 --> 00:54:31,879 Speaker 8: talking smashing fans for Yeah. 1283 00:54:31,920 --> 00:54:32,520 Speaker 4: No, this is tough. 1284 00:54:33,360 --> 00:54:35,360 Speaker 8: I think the reason I'm going with the Heat is 1285 00:54:35,440 --> 00:54:37,880 Speaker 8: home court and that defense that we saw. Now it's 1286 00:54:37,920 --> 00:54:40,520 Speaker 8: different when they're going against the Hawks versus Philadelphia, but 1287 00:54:40,680 --> 00:54:42,640 Speaker 8: I just think a little bit like with Joel and 1288 00:54:42,680 --> 00:54:44,480 Speaker 8: beat against the Raptors, I feel he might have to 1289 00:54:44,520 --> 00:54:47,799 Speaker 8: play forty to forty four minutes a game to really 1290 00:54:47,840 --> 00:54:49,680 Speaker 8: be effective because the Sixers are going to miss him 1291 00:54:49,680 --> 00:54:50,439 Speaker 8: when he's on the bench. 1292 00:54:50,880 --> 00:54:53,960 Speaker 3: I think, So don't see don't trust Paul Reed. 1293 00:54:54,200 --> 00:54:55,680 Speaker 7: Well that's the that's the problem. 1294 00:54:55,760 --> 00:54:59,400 Speaker 8: That's the problem for the depth favorite Miami hearing and 1295 00:54:59,480 --> 00:55:02,239 Speaker 8: you just that their focus is like just shut these 1296 00:55:02,280 --> 00:55:04,880 Speaker 8: guys down as much as you can. So for those reasons, 1297 00:55:05,360 --> 00:55:07,439 Speaker 8: I'm going with Miami. I think they do it in six. 1298 00:55:07,960 --> 00:55:10,120 Speaker 3: Heat in six Yeah all right, Tess. 1299 00:55:10,600 --> 00:55:12,960 Speaker 2: Yeah, there's going to be a fight. I agree. We 1300 00:55:13,040 --> 00:55:15,960 Speaker 2: didn't even talk about the potential of Dwayne Denman coming 1301 00:55:16,040 --> 00:55:17,880 Speaker 2: off the bench and playing a little bit of backup 1302 00:55:17,960 --> 00:55:21,520 Speaker 2: minutes against Joel Embiid. He wasn't really needed against the Hawks, 1303 00:55:21,560 --> 00:55:24,719 Speaker 2: but yeah, he should be in the rotation. Dust off 1304 00:55:24,760 --> 00:55:27,719 Speaker 2: of you Donnas Haslam Gift. I wouldn't put in eudonasasm 1305 00:55:27,760 --> 00:55:30,239 Speaker 2: into the game, but he's going to be on the sideline. 1306 00:55:30,600 --> 00:55:32,720 Speaker 2: He's got six fails. He can throw a Joel Embiid 1307 00:55:32,719 --> 00:55:36,000 Speaker 2: if they need him a minute and a half of fighting. Yeah, possibly. 1308 00:55:37,280 --> 00:55:37,480 Speaker 5: Yeah. 1309 00:55:37,520 --> 00:55:40,040 Speaker 2: The depth I think is key, and I think the 1310 00:55:40,160 --> 00:55:43,360 Speaker 2: way the Round one has shaken down where we haven't 1311 00:55:43,400 --> 00:55:45,600 Speaker 2: got a game seven yet, you know, we have the 1312 00:55:45,680 --> 00:55:47,800 Speaker 2: potential of only having one. I think it's okay to 1313 00:55:47,880 --> 00:55:50,960 Speaker 2: say seven games that's allowed because we haven't had one 1314 00:55:51,080 --> 00:55:54,480 Speaker 2: quite yet. So I will take the heat in seven. 1315 00:55:55,040 --> 00:55:58,480 Speaker 2: I don't have a little I think sometimes when we 1316 00:55:58,560 --> 00:56:01,560 Speaker 2: watched so much basketball, you kind of forget about the heat, 1317 00:56:02,000 --> 00:56:04,040 Speaker 2: you know, having not played for a few days, and 1318 00:56:04,080 --> 00:56:06,440 Speaker 2: so the sixers are fresh in the mind. But I 1319 00:56:06,440 --> 00:56:09,279 Speaker 2: think the heater a better team's sorry, yeah, that's that's right. 1320 00:56:09,320 --> 00:56:10,840 Speaker 2: I'm just gonna stop myself, but the heater are the 1321 00:56:10,880 --> 00:56:11,319 Speaker 2: better team. 1322 00:56:11,719 --> 00:56:15,000 Speaker 3: I think, like the James Hard and wild card is like, 1323 00:56:15,160 --> 00:56:18,400 Speaker 3: I don't you don't really know. If Harden like plays 1324 00:56:18,440 --> 00:56:20,840 Speaker 3: like he did in Game six and at times a 1325 00:56:20,880 --> 00:56:23,080 Speaker 3: little bit in the Raptors series, then man, it's such 1326 00:56:23,080 --> 00:56:25,880 Speaker 3: a game changer because like, is Butler gonna go for 1327 00:56:26,080 --> 00:56:28,000 Speaker 3: thirty eight and six again like he did in this 1328 00:56:28,080 --> 00:56:30,359 Speaker 3: series against the Hawks? I don't think so. I mean 1329 00:56:30,400 --> 00:56:32,680 Speaker 3: it's gonna be a lot different. Of course who's guarding him, 1330 00:56:32,680 --> 00:56:34,960 Speaker 3: and like their defensive game plan too, So it's like 1331 00:56:35,200 --> 00:56:38,080 Speaker 3: I'm really I think Bam and embiid as exciting as 1332 00:56:38,120 --> 00:56:39,520 Speaker 3: that will be as the big guy's going at it. 1333 00:56:40,000 --> 00:56:42,880 Speaker 3: To me, it's like which one, especially in clutch situations, 1334 00:56:42,920 --> 00:56:46,000 Speaker 3: Harden and Jimmy Butler take over the game when it's 1335 00:56:46,040 --> 00:56:47,640 Speaker 3: in a tight game. In one of these close games, 1336 00:56:47,680 --> 00:56:50,239 Speaker 3: So I'm leaning towards the Heat. I guess I'll go 1337 00:56:50,320 --> 00:56:52,320 Speaker 3: heat in six. I'm not a coward. I'm just kidding. 1338 00:56:52,600 --> 00:56:54,319 Speaker 3: I honestly feel like heating seven to two, but there's 1339 00:56:54,320 --> 00:56:56,879 Speaker 3: too many, so I'll go with you lead heat and six. 1340 00:56:56,960 --> 00:57:00,080 Speaker 3: But everybody taking the Miami Heat here and no and 1341 00:57:00,200 --> 00:57:02,520 Speaker 3: taking the sixers to get to the confonent finals they could. 1342 00:57:02,560 --> 00:57:04,600 Speaker 8: They could do it, it just really could, you know, 1343 00:57:04,960 --> 00:57:08,600 Speaker 8: less rest they're traveling, fatigue could be effected with embead. 1344 00:57:08,640 --> 00:57:10,640 Speaker 3: I just think there's a whole okay, hold on, you 1345 00:57:10,760 --> 00:57:13,000 Speaker 3: talk about fights, there is the whole embid thumb here 1346 00:57:13,120 --> 00:57:15,879 Speaker 3: thing too. There's a bunch of guys on the Miami heaty, 1347 00:57:15,880 --> 00:57:18,800 Speaker 3: don't give a shit. They're gonna they're gonna smack at 1348 00:57:18,880 --> 00:57:21,840 Speaker 3: that thing. Yeah, they're gonna hammer that thing. And that 1349 00:57:21,960 --> 00:57:24,000 Speaker 3: could of course lead to some pushing and shoving and 1350 00:57:24,080 --> 00:57:26,000 Speaker 3: some text and flagrants and tosses and stuff like that. 1351 00:57:26,280 --> 00:57:29,480 Speaker 2: I'm just concerned about the Sixers wanting to turn it 1352 00:57:29,600 --> 00:57:32,880 Speaker 2: on when they want and not really playing forty eight 1353 00:57:32,960 --> 00:57:38,120 Speaker 2: minutes like the Heat do. And James Harden, yeah, I 1354 00:57:38,240 --> 00:57:40,080 Speaker 2: haven't seen a dunk like he had in the first 1355 00:57:40,160 --> 00:57:43,400 Speaker 2: quarter against the Raptors from him in a long time. 1356 00:57:43,960 --> 00:57:47,080 Speaker 2: But why to TikTok game six and embeid. I'm not 1357 00:57:47,120 --> 00:57:50,960 Speaker 2: so worried about the sleep held. Everybody to sleep, for sure. 1358 00:57:51,040 --> 00:57:53,120 Speaker 2: But even though it's kind of stupid to say that 1359 00:57:53,240 --> 00:57:57,200 Speaker 2: team is fresher in the postseason because everybody gets rest 1360 00:57:57,760 --> 00:58:00,920 Speaker 2: in between games, the heater chilling to some degree, I 1361 00:58:00,960 --> 00:58:04,600 Speaker 2: think that helps and the and the Sixers. I don't 1362 00:58:04,640 --> 00:58:07,440 Speaker 2: trust them to get better as the playoffs go on. 1363 00:58:07,640 --> 00:58:10,640 Speaker 2: And I'm mainly thinking about their big guys, their main guys, 1364 00:58:10,760 --> 00:58:14,280 Speaker 2: and Harden, Embiid and and it's on Embid too if 1365 00:58:14,360 --> 00:58:17,080 Speaker 2: he hasn't been in the conference finals quite yet, and 1366 00:58:17,640 --> 00:58:19,960 Speaker 2: this is his time to do that. But he's got 1367 00:58:20,040 --> 00:58:23,080 Speaker 2: to be so good against a very very very very 1368 00:58:23,160 --> 00:58:26,520 Speaker 2: tough team and coach. So that's a lot on his shoulders, 1369 00:58:26,520 --> 00:58:28,720 Speaker 2: and it's a lot on Jimmy James shoulders. I think 1370 00:58:28,720 --> 00:58:31,600 Speaker 2: they'll do a good job of Jimmy Jimmy James. Yeah. 1371 00:58:32,400 --> 00:58:32,640 Speaker 6: Yeah. 1372 00:58:34,040 --> 00:58:36,960 Speaker 3: You can't do that in a series where there's. 1373 00:58:36,760 --> 00:58:39,240 Speaker 2: A Jimmy Yeah, and there's a James. We got to 1374 00:58:39,280 --> 00:58:41,680 Speaker 2: call James Harden. James. 1375 00:58:42,240 --> 00:58:45,240 Speaker 3: Okay, let go, Let's call James Harden, Jimmy Harden. Let's 1376 00:58:45,280 --> 00:58:48,560 Speaker 3: call Jimmy Butler. James Butler for this series really confused people. 1377 00:58:48,880 --> 00:58:52,920 Speaker 3: Though we've said before, Trey that hardened like his spinach 1378 00:58:53,160 --> 00:58:55,840 Speaker 3: might be the night life. He just went to Toronto, 1379 00:58:56,560 --> 00:58:58,320 Speaker 3: you know, turn it on in a game six. You know, 1380 00:58:58,360 --> 00:58:59,400 Speaker 3: I had a couple of days there. 1381 00:59:00,360 --> 00:59:02,000 Speaker 5: A lot of people are saying he had a huge 1382 00:59:02,040 --> 00:59:04,000 Speaker 5: game last night because you knew you'd get to spend 1383 00:59:04,240 --> 00:59:05,160 Speaker 5: the next week in Miami. 1384 00:59:05,200 --> 00:59:07,720 Speaker 3: I mean this, I'm saying, man, this guy like, this 1385 00:59:07,840 --> 00:59:10,560 Speaker 3: guy could get stronger and better at being in Miami here, 1386 00:59:10,640 --> 00:59:12,240 Speaker 3: so starting the series that I could be good for 1387 00:59:12,320 --> 00:59:15,440 Speaker 3: the Sixers. I'm half kidding because I think this guy 1388 00:59:15,600 --> 00:59:17,760 Speaker 3: plays better when he uthing till like five in the movie. 1389 00:59:17,840 --> 00:59:19,400 Speaker 5: Sorry, yeah, he's got. 1390 00:59:19,320 --> 00:59:21,919 Speaker 3: That iverson in him. We'll see, all right, So let's 1391 00:59:21,920 --> 00:59:24,680 Speaker 3: hear from everybody out there, Sixers heat. What's your prediction 1392 00:59:25,560 --> 00:59:27,240 Speaker 3: X factors? What are you watching in that one? Let 1393 00:59:27,280 --> 00:59:29,320 Speaker 3: us know in the stream. Team. Okay, let's talk Celtics Bucks. 1394 00:59:29,360 --> 00:59:32,520 Speaker 3: We started talking about this while you were there in Vegas. 1395 00:59:32,600 --> 00:59:34,960 Speaker 3: But you get to start a task. You know your 1396 00:59:35,040 --> 00:59:38,120 Speaker 3: thoughts on this series that starts on Sunday, Game one 1397 00:59:38,200 --> 00:59:40,640 Speaker 3: in the afternoon. I believe on ABC getting the Marquis 1398 00:59:40,720 --> 00:59:41,240 Speaker 3: slot there. 1399 00:59:41,640 --> 00:59:42,080 Speaker 5: What do you think? 1400 00:59:42,400 --> 00:59:44,640 Speaker 2: I don't like that time slot for the Bucks coming 1401 00:59:44,680 --> 00:59:46,800 Speaker 2: out to shoot. I think the Celtics are the better 1402 00:59:47,000 --> 00:59:50,040 Speaker 2: afternoon team. Honestly, I think Game one goes to Celtics. 1403 00:59:50,080 --> 00:59:52,480 Speaker 2: But anyways, let's get to the actual basketball. Chris Middleton's 1404 00:59:52,480 --> 00:59:55,400 Speaker 2: absence gotta start with that, it stinks. I think I'll 1405 00:59:55,400 --> 00:59:59,520 Speaker 2: both ens. Defensively we'll get to in a second. But offensively, yeah, 1406 00:59:59,520 --> 01:00:03,360 Speaker 2: it's got to be now without Middleton, Yannie, Yanny, yanyany 1407 01:00:03,520 --> 01:00:06,560 Speaker 2: Yanny setting up everybody. And I don't think the Bucks 1408 01:00:07,160 --> 01:00:10,000 Speaker 2: get a Grayson Allen series like they did against the 1409 01:00:10,080 --> 01:00:14,200 Speaker 2: Bulls because the Celtics are just too good. They're going 1410 01:00:14,280 --> 01:00:16,880 Speaker 2: to be out there on all the shooters that Yanny 1411 01:00:16,920 --> 01:00:19,200 Speaker 2: sets up. I think Janic's gonna have to have like 1412 01:00:19,320 --> 01:00:21,920 Speaker 2: an NBA Finals type performance where he went thirty five 1413 01:00:22,040 --> 01:00:24,400 Speaker 2: thirteen to five. He's got to have numbers like that 1414 01:00:24,600 --> 01:00:27,280 Speaker 2: with great percentages, and that's hard to do. Your name's 1415 01:00:27,280 --> 01:00:29,200 Speaker 2: got to be Yannis or Lebron to do that. Maybe 1416 01:00:29,280 --> 01:00:31,480 Speaker 2: Yanis can do it again, but this is a Celtics 1417 01:00:32,120 --> 01:00:35,280 Speaker 2: team that's got the recipe to slow him down like 1418 01:00:35,360 --> 01:00:38,439 Speaker 2: they did against Durant. Before he gets the ball, bang bang, 1419 01:00:38,480 --> 01:00:41,240 Speaker 2: he's gonna hit somebody, whether it's Marcus Smart who they 1420 01:00:41,280 --> 01:00:43,600 Speaker 2: put on him in the regular season, which sounds a 1421 01:00:43,640 --> 01:00:46,120 Speaker 2: little crazy, but I think he's gonna get bumped by him, 1422 01:00:46,160 --> 01:00:49,360 Speaker 2: and then a guy like Al Horford, who has the length, 1423 01:00:49,400 --> 01:00:51,640 Speaker 2: who is playing his best ball, who's a really really 1424 01:00:51,680 --> 01:00:54,080 Speaker 2: great defender shot sixty percent from three on the other end, 1425 01:00:54,240 --> 01:00:56,560 Speaker 2: and then rim protection with Robert Williams, so you've got 1426 01:00:56,640 --> 01:00:59,920 Speaker 2: a nice little recipe to slow him down, and Boston 1427 01:01:00,200 --> 01:01:03,640 Speaker 2: just good at slowing down an opposing start. They're just 1428 01:01:03,840 --> 01:01:08,080 Speaker 2: so good to fight against defensively against stars like that. 1429 01:01:08,360 --> 01:01:11,080 Speaker 2: So I didn't mention Drew Holliday. I think Drew Holliday 1430 01:01:11,200 --> 01:01:13,480 Speaker 2: kind of has to be their second guy because I 1431 01:01:13,520 --> 01:01:15,840 Speaker 2: don't think they're gonna let set shooters really beat them 1432 01:01:16,080 --> 01:01:18,560 Speaker 2: like Rayson Allen and Wesley Matthews. I think Drew, like 1433 01:01:18,680 --> 01:01:22,880 Speaker 2: Kyrie went off in Game one against the Celtics, Drew could, 1434 01:01:23,440 --> 01:01:25,120 Speaker 2: but I'm not sure if he can do that for 1435 01:01:25,600 --> 01:01:28,480 Speaker 2: enough games in this series. So Middleton's gonna be missed there. 1436 01:01:28,520 --> 01:01:30,520 Speaker 2: And on defense too because I think Jayson TAM's gonna 1437 01:01:30,520 --> 01:01:32,440 Speaker 2: look huge out there, because I'm not sure who they're 1438 01:01:32,520 --> 01:01:34,880 Speaker 2: gonna put on Jason Tatum. I think Drew Holliday might 1439 01:01:34,880 --> 01:01:37,000 Speaker 2: get a lot of minutes on him, and that that 1440 01:01:37,160 --> 01:01:41,280 Speaker 2: size advantage is a problem. You can put Bobby Portis 1441 01:01:41,360 --> 01:01:44,360 Speaker 2: on him, which I mean not sure, but he's too 1442 01:01:44,640 --> 01:01:47,280 Speaker 2: he's too quick for him. There's it's just gonna hurt 1443 01:01:47,320 --> 01:01:49,280 Speaker 2: because they're they're wing defense. Will their wing guys, like 1444 01:01:49,280 --> 01:01:53,800 Speaker 2: in Jalen Brown, it's going to go up against Wesley Matthews, 1445 01:01:53,880 --> 01:01:56,000 Speaker 2: Tatum's going to go up against I don't know. Again, 1446 01:01:56,080 --> 01:01:58,000 Speaker 2: they don't have a good matchup without Chris Middleton. They're 1447 01:01:58,040 --> 01:02:00,360 Speaker 2: going to miss him. Sons has to do a lot 1448 01:02:00,440 --> 01:02:04,600 Speaker 2: on defense offense. Uh, and so I can't see him 1449 01:02:04,760 --> 01:02:07,600 Speaker 2: guarding Jason Tatum. I just don't see it happening because 1450 01:02:07,600 --> 01:02:08,720 Speaker 2: he's got to do too much. 1451 01:02:08,680 --> 01:02:10,760 Speaker 3: Right, He'll get he'll get spots on him. 1452 01:02:10,800 --> 01:02:12,800 Speaker 2: Yeah, but I think they're gonna have to hide him 1453 01:02:12,800 --> 01:02:16,440 Speaker 2: a little bit because he's got to do so much offensively. 1454 01:02:17,240 --> 01:02:19,040 Speaker 2: So I think the Chris Milton fact is going to 1455 01:02:19,080 --> 01:02:19,600 Speaker 2: play big. 1456 01:02:20,120 --> 01:02:22,600 Speaker 3: Joannis guards like smart in that sort of game plan 1457 01:02:22,680 --> 01:02:24,920 Speaker 3: where he can roam and like you like take you know, 1458 01:02:25,720 --> 01:02:27,360 Speaker 3: press your luck, weather smarts, hitting. 1459 01:02:27,200 --> 01:02:31,960 Speaker 2: Than or Robert Williams is fine. Yeah, yeah, just just 1460 01:02:32,080 --> 01:02:34,120 Speaker 2: not Tatum. I think that's a problem. 1461 01:02:34,440 --> 01:02:36,920 Speaker 5: What do you think, Trey, It comes down to how 1462 01:02:37,000 --> 01:02:39,760 Speaker 5: much jannest dominates this series. I really think, because that's 1463 01:02:39,800 --> 01:02:41,240 Speaker 5: the only way the Bucks win is if we see 1464 01:02:41,240 --> 01:02:44,120 Speaker 5: a special performance from you, honest, which is certainly possible. 1465 01:02:44,200 --> 01:02:46,040 Speaker 5: He didn't have to tap into it very much against 1466 01:02:46,080 --> 01:02:47,840 Speaker 5: the Bulls. He would dominate for a few minutes and 1467 01:02:47,920 --> 01:02:49,800 Speaker 5: that was the game. But now he's going against a 1468 01:02:49,960 --> 01:02:54,960 Speaker 5: much bigger, much smarter defense, maybe a defense best suited 1469 01:02:55,040 --> 01:02:57,240 Speaker 5: to try and take away what he does best. So 1470 01:02:57,880 --> 01:03:00,600 Speaker 5: I think Giannis needs to be NBA Finals and we 1471 01:03:00,680 --> 01:03:03,160 Speaker 5: shall see if if that's in the cards. Tass is right. 1472 01:03:03,240 --> 01:03:04,920 Speaker 5: Drew Holliday has to have a big series. He has 1473 01:03:05,000 --> 01:03:07,800 Speaker 5: to be looking for his offense, which is a big 1474 01:03:07,840 --> 01:03:10,240 Speaker 5: ass because he's going to be playing one of the 1475 01:03:10,280 --> 01:03:12,480 Speaker 5: two stars on the Celtics as well defensively, and then 1476 01:03:12,480 --> 01:03:14,320 Speaker 5: they got to make their threes. Four Bucks hit ten 1477 01:03:14,440 --> 01:03:16,360 Speaker 5: or more threes in the first round against the Bulls, 1478 01:03:16,600 --> 01:03:19,280 Speaker 5: Grayson Allen, Pat Connets, and Drew Holliday and Wesley Matthews. 1479 01:03:19,440 --> 01:03:21,160 Speaker 5: But the Celtics are one of the better three point 1480 01:03:21,240 --> 01:03:24,400 Speaker 5: defenses in the league. So it seems like everything the 1481 01:03:24,440 --> 01:03:29,040 Speaker 5: Celtics do takes away what the Bucks want to do effectively. 1482 01:03:29,240 --> 01:03:31,400 Speaker 5: But the Bucks have been really good at imposing their 1483 01:03:31,440 --> 01:03:34,880 Speaker 5: will on other teams for the past four seasons, especially 1484 01:03:34,960 --> 01:03:37,439 Speaker 5: for the past season and a half, so I don't 1485 01:03:37,480 --> 01:03:39,400 Speaker 5: know this is gonna be a tough one. This is 1486 01:03:39,440 --> 01:03:41,080 Speaker 5: the one that if you're picking the Bucks, it's because 1487 01:03:41,120 --> 01:03:43,320 Speaker 5: you love Giannis and you're yeah. 1488 01:03:43,600 --> 01:03:46,440 Speaker 8: And I think his best chance of getting the causing 1489 01:03:46,480 --> 01:03:48,520 Speaker 8: trouble for Boston is trying to get Williams and Hoolfitt 1490 01:03:48,520 --> 01:03:51,520 Speaker 8: in foul trouble just beasting inside. But then he's going 1491 01:03:51,560 --> 01:03:53,280 Speaker 8: to stay out of foul trouble himself at the other end, 1492 01:03:53,320 --> 01:03:55,320 Speaker 8: because I think they might even attack get him. They 1493 01:03:55,400 --> 01:03:57,560 Speaker 8: might say, listen, best way to get Janis off the 1494 01:03:57,600 --> 01:03:59,760 Speaker 8: court is to get him into foul trouble. So I 1495 01:04:00,160 --> 01:04:03,760 Speaker 8: saw the Celtics just dominate Kevin Durant and that's why 1496 01:04:03,800 --> 01:04:05,560 Speaker 8: I just think without Middleton there, it's going to be 1497 01:04:05,640 --> 01:04:09,360 Speaker 8: so much more difficult here for for Yannis to be 1498 01:04:09,440 --> 01:04:11,440 Speaker 8: able to carry this team. And I mean, again, you 1499 01:04:11,600 --> 01:04:13,440 Speaker 8: guys have mentioned if he's on for fifty like you 1500 01:04:13,520 --> 01:04:15,240 Speaker 8: did in Game six against the Suns, every they are 1501 01:04:15,240 --> 01:04:17,240 Speaker 8: a chance. But he has to do so much for 1502 01:04:17,400 --> 01:04:22,120 Speaker 8: them every single game against a brutal defense. So very 1503 01:04:22,200 --> 01:04:24,560 Speaker 8: tough without Middleton to see how the Bucks can can 1504 01:04:24,640 --> 01:04:26,200 Speaker 8: do this. But as I said yesterday, if they can 1505 01:04:26,200 --> 01:04:28,600 Speaker 8: get it to Game seven, maybe that's that one. Game 1506 01:04:28,600 --> 01:04:31,360 Speaker 8: where Yannis does just produce because that's. 1507 01:04:31,200 --> 01:04:31,600 Speaker 4: Their best thing. 1508 01:04:31,640 --> 01:04:34,080 Speaker 8: He's got to hold serve at home. Otherwise, I think 1509 01:04:34,120 --> 01:04:36,440 Speaker 8: the Celtics have just got too much depth, too much strength, 1510 01:04:36,440 --> 01:04:38,120 Speaker 8: too much offense, too much defense for them. 1511 01:04:38,200 --> 01:04:38,280 Speaker 5: Right. 1512 01:04:38,320 --> 01:04:40,200 Speaker 3: You're also on the record saying you think the Celtics 1513 01:04:40,200 --> 01:04:42,400 Speaker 3: are going to take games one and two here, and yes, 1514 01:04:42,480 --> 01:04:45,760 Speaker 3: I do. Yes, Well, let's make some predictions task get 1515 01:04:45,800 --> 01:04:46,200 Speaker 3: us started. 1516 01:04:46,440 --> 01:04:49,160 Speaker 2: And it is strange that Boston has home court advantage 1517 01:04:49,160 --> 01:04:51,600 Speaker 2: because they had the exact same record and in Milwaukee 1518 01:04:51,720 --> 01:04:54,560 Speaker 2: sat there, guys on the last night of the regular season, 1519 01:04:54,640 --> 01:04:57,320 Speaker 2: last day of the regular season could have had another 1520 01:04:57,760 --> 01:05:00,520 Speaker 2: game on the Celtics. So that hurts. And I can't 1521 01:05:01,600 --> 01:05:03,400 Speaker 2: go away from the Celtics just watching them, how they 1522 01:05:03,400 --> 01:05:07,400 Speaker 2: play defense against the Nets. I think they're gonna slow 1523 01:05:07,440 --> 01:05:10,640 Speaker 2: down Yannis and Drew Holiday has got to be a playmaker, 1524 01:05:10,680 --> 01:05:14,040 Speaker 2: a score and that's not really Drew. That's not Drew. 1525 01:05:14,120 --> 01:05:17,040 Speaker 2: And I know people are, you know, looking back at 1526 01:05:17,080 --> 01:05:19,680 Speaker 2: the conference finals last year where Yannis was out and 1527 01:05:20,160 --> 01:05:22,440 Speaker 2: they're saying, oh, they rallied around a guy who was 1528 01:05:22,480 --> 01:05:25,960 Speaker 2: out for a few games. First, Yiannis Middleton very different. Second, 1529 01:05:26,000 --> 01:05:27,680 Speaker 2: it was sort of later in the series as well, 1530 01:05:28,000 --> 01:05:30,200 Speaker 2: and so I think this is just a little too 1531 01:05:30,280 --> 01:05:32,160 Speaker 2: much to overcome for a full series against the team 1532 01:05:32,200 --> 01:05:34,640 Speaker 2: that's playing their best ball for the last several months 1533 01:05:34,680 --> 01:05:37,400 Speaker 2: and obviously doing in the postseason as well. They're rocking 1534 01:05:38,960 --> 01:05:40,160 Speaker 2: Celtics and six for. 1535 01:05:40,240 --> 01:05:44,160 Speaker 5: Me Beantown boy over here, Okay, Trey from the Beantown 1536 01:05:44,240 --> 01:05:46,080 Speaker 5: boy to the honest guy. I got Bucks and six. 1537 01:05:46,200 --> 01:05:47,840 Speaker 5: I think this is a huge series for Janness. I 1538 01:05:47,840 --> 01:05:49,600 Speaker 5: think he's the best player in the league, and if 1539 01:05:49,640 --> 01:05:53,600 Speaker 5: the Celtics beat him this series, I will stop not 1540 01:05:53,720 --> 01:05:55,640 Speaker 5: believing in the Celtics and they'll flip to be in 1541 01:05:55,640 --> 01:05:58,400 Speaker 5: a Beantown Boy. But for right now, I'm rolling with Giannis. 1542 01:05:58,440 --> 01:06:00,120 Speaker 5: I think he's the best guy out there. And I 1543 01:06:00,200 --> 01:06:02,480 Speaker 5: think that even though the Celtics had the game plan 1544 01:06:02,640 --> 01:06:04,960 Speaker 5: for it, it's different until you're playing honest. 1545 01:06:04,960 --> 01:06:07,640 Speaker 3: All right, He's torn. 1546 01:06:09,600 --> 01:06:12,280 Speaker 8: It's hard for me to see. I think the Celtics 1547 01:06:12,320 --> 01:06:14,880 Speaker 8: do it in six. I think I think they're just 1548 01:06:14,960 --> 01:06:18,400 Speaker 8: going to overwhelm the Bucks. Middleton's not coming back at all, 1549 01:06:18,440 --> 01:06:20,560 Speaker 8: so there's no real hope that he might come back. 1550 01:06:21,120 --> 01:06:22,960 Speaker 8: I just think they're too deep and too strong, So 1551 01:06:23,320 --> 01:06:24,840 Speaker 8: I think but I hope Giannist does it, though I 1552 01:06:24,880 --> 01:06:27,360 Speaker 8: would love to see Yannis do that Game seven performance, 1553 01:06:27,440 --> 01:06:29,840 Speaker 8: but Boston's been so impressive. 1554 01:06:29,960 --> 01:06:32,360 Speaker 3: Yeah, that's why this one's difficult. But I'm going with 1555 01:06:32,480 --> 01:06:37,439 Speaker 3: Trey showed up to Brandon Jennings Bucks and six. Yeah, 1556 01:06:37,480 --> 01:06:39,360 Speaker 3: I believe it. I think I think there will be 1557 01:06:39,600 --> 01:06:42,440 Speaker 3: at least one or two games where Grease and Allen, 1558 01:06:42,480 --> 01:06:46,080 Speaker 3: who was amazing in the Bull series, hits enough threes 1559 01:06:46,120 --> 01:06:48,240 Speaker 3: to help out Giannest. Maybe it's Pat Conington, maybe it's 1560 01:06:48,280 --> 01:06:51,640 Speaker 3: your boy, Wesley Matthews, Bobby Portis, you know Brooke Obviously, 1561 01:06:52,200 --> 01:06:54,000 Speaker 3: Lopez don't even talk much about him, and he is 1562 01:06:54,040 --> 01:06:57,320 Speaker 3: a he can be a difference maker. But yeah, Giannis 1563 01:06:57,400 --> 01:07:00,320 Speaker 3: has to be special, and Drew Holiday is mad massive 1564 01:07:00,400 --> 01:07:02,840 Speaker 3: in this series, the pressure that he needs to put 1565 01:07:02,920 --> 01:07:05,560 Speaker 3: on and make one of those other Celtics players worry 1566 01:07:05,560 --> 01:07:08,560 Speaker 3: about him and defend him. But I am at the 1567 01:07:08,600 --> 01:07:10,200 Speaker 3: point with you, honest, that I'm not going to bet 1568 01:07:10,240 --> 01:07:12,240 Speaker 3: against him until they lose a series. I mean, I 1569 01:07:12,320 --> 01:07:15,400 Speaker 3: think he's almost earned that at this point. And it's 1570 01:07:15,440 --> 01:07:18,040 Speaker 3: a good team too, don't get me wrong, But That's 1571 01:07:18,080 --> 01:07:21,120 Speaker 3: where I'm going with this one. Hopefully, he'll be entertaining 1572 01:07:21,360 --> 01:07:24,200 Speaker 3: those games. It'd be fun to see, you know, Jannis 1573 01:07:24,240 --> 01:07:26,760 Speaker 3: and Tatum, Jaylen Brown and Drew you know, trade big 1574 01:07:26,760 --> 01:07:28,760 Speaker 3: buckets down the stretch. But let's hear from everybody out there, 1575 01:07:28,800 --> 01:07:32,040 Speaker 3: as we always ask you, guys, Bucks Celtics, drop your 1576 01:07:32,080 --> 01:07:34,840 Speaker 3: predictions in the stream. How many he knows 1600 01:08:29,600 --> 01:08:30,080 Speaker 3: he's getting. 1601 01:08:30,479 --> 01:08:33,240 Speaker 8: He knows he's getting lego, and you know the little 1602 01:08:33,240 --> 01:08:35,679 Speaker 8: ones like working on trying to get the figures. 1603 01:08:35,720 --> 01:08:36,720 Speaker 4: So if he can play with those. 1604 01:08:36,800 --> 01:08:40,560 Speaker 3: Oh okay, yeah, wow, crazy man. Okay, well, some of 1605 01:08:40,640 --> 01:08:43,280 Speaker 3: us we'll be watching. They'll have to watch on we'll 1606 01:08:43,280 --> 01:08:46,640 Speaker 3: talk about it on Monday Game one Celtics box on 1607 01:08:46,720 --> 01:08:48,519 Speaker 3: Sunday afternoon. Okay, let's take our final break when we 1608 01:08:48,600 --> 01:08:50,360 Speaker 3: come back. You got tweeted the night I do. We 1609 01:08:50,479 --> 01:08:52,519 Speaker 3: got to get the John Legend report. I know we 1610 01:08:52,600 --> 01:08:54,680 Speaker 3: jumped right into the al Yeah. Yeah, for sure. We 1611 01:08:54,720 --> 01:08:57,080 Speaker 3: got at least hear how Vegas was, and then we'll 1612 01:08:57,120 --> 01:09:00,720 Speaker 3: do some rapid fire. Fine, don't go anywhere. All right, 1613 01:09:00,760 --> 01:09:03,800 Speaker 3: back here in the Classic Factory, start wrapping up today's podcasts. 1614 01:09:04,120 --> 01:09:07,240 Speaker 3: But we got to ask how was Las Vegas. You 1615 01:09:07,280 --> 01:09:09,080 Speaker 3: were there for a couple of days with the main 1616 01:09:09,080 --> 01:09:11,240 Speaker 3: objective to see John Legend. Did he put on a show? 1617 01:09:11,920 --> 01:09:13,240 Speaker 2: Well, it was great to get away. 1618 01:09:14,800 --> 01:09:15,200 Speaker 3: Stressed. 1619 01:09:15,640 --> 01:09:17,920 Speaker 2: Well, no, we just need to get away from our kids. 1620 01:09:19,080 --> 01:09:21,640 Speaker 2: We haven't done that since our first was born. Just 1621 01:09:21,720 --> 01:09:24,000 Speaker 2: needed a trip away from them. So then we saw 1622 01:09:24,080 --> 01:09:26,360 Speaker 2: John Legend on the itinerary in Vegas and he said, 1623 01:09:26,560 --> 01:09:28,599 Speaker 2: we missed his show a couple of times here in Atlanta. 1624 01:09:29,200 --> 01:09:31,040 Speaker 2: Let's make it happen. We got on a plane, we 1625 01:09:31,120 --> 01:09:37,680 Speaker 2: went to Vegas. Vegas is still Vegas, same business, I 1626 01:09:37,680 --> 01:09:39,760 Speaker 2: don't think, the same business. 1627 01:09:41,920 --> 01:09:42,280 Speaker 3: It was. 1628 01:09:43,280 --> 01:09:45,719 Speaker 2: It was good. We ate really well, we ate, well. 1629 01:09:45,840 --> 01:09:46,759 Speaker 4: Where are we staying? 1630 01:09:48,479 --> 01:09:48,519 Speaker 6: Ate? 1631 01:09:48,560 --> 01:09:48,880 Speaker 3: Anyway? 1632 01:09:48,880 --> 01:09:49,479 Speaker 4: A good round there. 1633 01:09:50,360 --> 01:09:57,600 Speaker 2: Let's pull up a photo. Once upon a time we 1634 01:09:57,720 --> 01:10:03,280 Speaker 2: saw Spencer situating eggs. What and so Lee texted me 1635 01:10:03,360 --> 01:10:05,680 Speaker 2: before I went and said, don't you have a photos? 1636 01:10:07,880 --> 01:10:10,000 Speaker 2: So I did. It's a morning I got. We got 1637 01:10:10,080 --> 01:10:12,600 Speaker 2: in the lineup and there was a lineup. But that 1638 01:10:12,800 --> 01:10:13,880 Speaker 2: ten dollars always. 1639 01:10:13,640 --> 01:10:16,040 Speaker 4: A lineup there is We wouldn't seeing Spencer dinwitie if 1640 01:10:16,040 --> 01:10:16,759 Speaker 4: it wasn't a lineup. 1641 01:10:17,000 --> 01:10:20,040 Speaker 2: Well he wasn't there. I guess they don't accept crypto 1642 01:10:20,160 --> 01:10:23,720 Speaker 2: and eggs. They've had a nice juice spot, which actually 1652 01:10:56,920 --> 01:11:00,360 Speaker 2: most of them have alcohol in the juice, but a 1653 01:11:00,400 --> 01:11:04,280 Speaker 2: little juice alcohol, but really quality juice. I mean everything 1654 01:11:04,360 --> 01:11:09,519 Speaker 2: in that casino quality, even the secondhand smoke quality second hand. 1655 01:11:10,840 --> 01:11:13,320 Speaker 2: But we went to the you go from that place 1656 01:11:13,400 --> 01:11:16,120 Speaker 2: to like you know, the old places, went to the Flamingo. 1657 01:11:16,360 --> 01:11:19,439 Speaker 2: I thought the Flamingo habitat would be hopping. The Flamingos 1658 01:11:19,479 --> 01:11:21,679 Speaker 2: are supposed to be amongst the people in the back. 1659 01:11:22,200 --> 01:11:25,679 Speaker 2: I think they all died hand smoking. Yeah. Well, there's 1660 01:11:25,720 --> 01:11:29,839 Speaker 2: no circulation in that hotel. Zero circulation in that hotel. 1661 01:11:30,040 --> 01:11:32,760 Speaker 2: It's that hotel. We looked it up with how old 1662 01:11:32,880 --> 01:11:34,479 Speaker 2: is this hotel? How old do you think? I mean 1663 01:11:34,520 --> 01:11:37,920 Speaker 2: this is the Flamingo probably from six Yeah, yeah, good 1664 01:11:38,200 --> 01:11:39,040 Speaker 2: forty six, I think. 1665 01:11:39,280 --> 01:11:39,559 Speaker 6: Wow. 1666 01:11:40,280 --> 01:11:44,200 Speaker 3: But anyway, but I assume everybody in Vegas was wearing masks, right. 1667 01:11:46,800 --> 01:11:48,880 Speaker 2: Yeah, we did some weird two days. We're 1677 01:12:10,360 --> 01:12:12,040 Speaker 2: off a little bit. We had the one set of 1678 01:12:12,080 --> 01:12:15,080 Speaker 2: drums just super loud. Anyways, you go to a residency 1679 01:12:16,040 --> 01:12:16,960 Speaker 2: type concert. 1680 01:12:16,720 --> 01:12:17,439 Speaker 3: Yeah, I've never done that. 1681 01:12:18,560 --> 01:12:20,800 Speaker 2: I don't think there's any real need. He's getting paid, good 1685 01:12:28,680 --> 01:12:31,320 Speaker 2: for him. But there are people there. It's like, you know, 1686 01:12:31,479 --> 01:12:35,240 Speaker 2: the suits at a Raptors game, basketball cross I see, 1687 01:12:35,280 --> 01:12:38,920 Speaker 2: I see. They're not there for the performers. They're there because. 1688 01:12:38,600 --> 01:12:39,360 Speaker 7: They're in Vegas. 1689 01:12:39,560 --> 01:12:39,760 Speaker 2: Yeah. 1690 01:12:41,400 --> 01:12:44,920 Speaker 4: Celean Dione said that when she was there. Not really, but why not. 1693 01:12:49,400 --> 01:12:52,720 Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm sitting with plenty of people that didn't know 1694 01:12:52,760 --> 01:12:55,120 Speaker 2: who John Legend was sure what did he end with? 1695 01:12:55,600 --> 01:12:56,280 Speaker 3: What did he end with? 1696 01:12:56,400 --> 01:13:00,240 Speaker 2: He came out for a double double Encore Wild, which 1697 01:13:00,280 --> 01:13:02,479 Speaker 2: is one of those newer ones. Did we go green 1698 01:13:02,600 --> 01:13:07,960 Speaker 2: light at the end there. Yeah, confetti fell the show. 1699 01:13:08,080 --> 01:13:09,040 Speaker 3: Yeah, you've got a great photo. 1700 01:13:09,080 --> 01:13:13,080 Speaker 2: And his show was good. I 1707 01:13:32,880 --> 01:13:35,760 Speaker 2: think even the dealers are lying the dealer. A dealer said, oh, 1708 01:13:35,840 --> 01:13:37,760 Speaker 2: I live down the street from Sleeine Dion. I see 1709 01:13:37,800 --> 01:13:39,840 Speaker 2: the helicopter come in and take her to the strip 1710 01:13:39,920 --> 01:13:44,040 Speaker 2: for her show. I don't think you lived. Don't buy 1711 01:13:44,080 --> 01:13:48,200 Speaker 2: it whatsoever. One day I was at the at the 1712 01:13:48,280 --> 01:13:50,920 Speaker 2: grocery store and Tony Braxton was shopping beside me. We 1713 01:13:51,000 --> 01:13:53,240 Speaker 2: walked away from the table. Daniel said, I don't think 1714 01:13:53,320 --> 01:13:55,720 Speaker 2: Tony Braxon is getting her own groceries. 1715 01:13:56,800 --> 01:14:01,120 Speaker 3: Anyway. Tables were kind of task mealysis. 1716 01:14:01,560 --> 01:14:05,200 Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, we had a quick session again. Danielle was 1717 01:14:05,240 --> 01:14:08,920 Speaker 2: doing well at that table. But yeah, blackjack dealers turned 1718 01:14:08,960 --> 01:14:10,479 Speaker 2: some stuff, some ninja stuff against me. 1719 01:14:11,080 --> 01:14:12,639 Speaker 7: It was amazing, it was amazing. 1720 01:14:12,760 --> 01:14:14,479 Speaker 3: Hey, look are you excited to go back to ve 1721 01:14:14,560 --> 01:14:18,320 Speaker 3: guess for maybe something. There's a there's an other area. 1747 01:15:37,320 --> 01:15:39,439 Speaker 2: There's like an area fifty two of Vegas where they've 1748 01:15:39,479 --> 01:15:42,439 Speaker 2: got all these things happening. Okay, and they had this 1749 01:15:42,840 --> 01:15:46,280 Speaker 2: strange exhibit sort of experience. Or you go into a 1750 01:15:46,400 --> 01:15:48,880 Speaker 2: grocery store but all the products are fake and then 1751 01:15:48,920 --> 01:15:50,439 Speaker 2: you can go to the back and that's. 1752 01:15:50,320 --> 01:15:53,280 Speaker 3: That moth milk thing. It's always hard to get a 1767 01:16:37,160 --> 01:16:41,639 Speaker 2: coffee there, not evenmore all right? Oh yeah, okay, multi 1768 01:16:41,680 --> 01:16:44,760 Speaker 2: prong multi prop first one. Grayson Allen is getting booed 1769 01:16:44,800 --> 01:16:47,080 Speaker 2: by his teammates on the bus. Did you guys talk 1770 01:16:47,120 --> 01:16:47,439 Speaker 2: about that. 1771 01:16:47,520 --> 01:16:49,200 Speaker 3: Well, we talked about them getting booed at home by 1772 01:16:49,240 --> 01:16:49,839 Speaker 3: the crowd. 1773 01:16:50,800 --> 01:16:51,519 Speaker 2: By his teammates. 1774 01:16:51,600 --> 01:16:52,080 Speaker 3: That's great. 1775 01:16:52,240 --> 01:16:52,439 Speaker 5: Yuh. 1776 01:16:53,439 --> 01:16:56,519 Speaker 2: Tweet from Lily Shout mentioned that Grayson Allen told us 1777 01:16:56,560 --> 01:17:00,200 Speaker 2: that his teammates, especially Wesley Matthews, have enjoyed booing him 1778 01:17:00,240 --> 01:17:02,880 Speaker 2: everywhere from walking into the bus, into the hotel, or 1779 01:17:02,920 --> 01:17:04,960 Speaker 2: when he watches film. They boost so great stuff. 1780 01:17:05,040 --> 01:17:07,599 Speaker 3: Do you think the Boston Celtics crowd then should cheer him? 1781 01:17:08,040 --> 01:17:11,280 Speaker 3: They should throw them off. That would be very funny 1782 01:17:11,280 --> 01:17:12,880 Speaker 3: if they get him like a standing ovation and he 1783 01:17:12,960 --> 01:17:15,200 Speaker 3: checks in okay, you know, the. 1784 01:17:15,400 --> 01:17:17,439 Speaker 2: Grace sounds their kind of player. It comes from 1787 01:17:23,439 --> 01:17:26,000 Speaker 2: the great Mark Spears, who wrote a piece on Raptors 1788 01:17:26,120 --> 01:17:29,559 Speaker 2: rookie Scottie Barnes and I haven't seen this information anywhere 1789 01:17:29,600 --> 01:17:32,320 Speaker 2: else but from Mark Spears. He wrote that Scotty has 1790 01:17:32,400 --> 01:17:36,320 Speaker 2: both daily and long term goals on his phone's lockscreen, 1791 01:17:36,479 --> 01:17:38,759 Speaker 2: that is, his lock strings. Got a list and Spears 1792 01:17:38,880 --> 01:17:42,320 Speaker 2: listed them in a piece on ascape dot com. So 1793 01:17:42,439 --> 01:17:47,519 Speaker 2: let's go through them first bunch. That's him on the left and another gentleman 1830 01:19:53,520 --> 01:19:56,600 Speaker 2: on the right. As I said, the said, no, hold on, 1831 01:19:56,760 --> 01:19:59,000 Speaker 2: that's not a real guy on the right. What is 1832 01:19:59,040 --> 01:19:59,720 Speaker 2: it photoshop? 1833 01:20:00,040 --> 01:20:02,640 Speaker 3: I mean, I'm asking, no, is it I don't know? 1834 01:20:02,800 --> 01:20:03,639 Speaker 5: That's a thumb. 1835 01:20:05,360 --> 01:20:09,120 Speaker 2: Okay so maybe no, No, you're right. This is probably 1836 01:20:09,160 --> 01:20:11,960 Speaker 2: why I couldn't find him, because it's because it's a 1837 01:20:11,960 --> 01:20:15,400 Speaker 2: photoshop of Garrett Cole. Because I had no idea. I 1838 01:20:15,439 --> 01:20:16,880 Speaker 2: thought maybe he could be a relief picture. 1839 01:20:16,920 --> 01:20:20,760 Speaker 3: Is that's how crazy baseball is that you're like, that's 1840 01:20:20,920 --> 01:20:22,720 Speaker 3: maybe a guy and maybe it is. 1841 01:20:23,920 --> 01:20:26,680 Speaker 2: Well, so I thought it was a regular photo. I 1842 01:20:26,720 --> 01:20:29,280 Speaker 2: threw it in a Watsapp chat. Our man Joel McMillan said, 1843 01:20:29,600 --> 01:20:33,400 Speaker 2: Garrett swole. And so I'm looking at Garrettoles, at his name, 1844 01:20:33,800 --> 01:20:36,240 Speaker 2: but Garrett Cole is the starting picture making a billion dollars. 1845 01:20:36,479 --> 01:20:38,560 Speaker 3: Somebody got to photoshop. 1846 01:20:38,080 --> 01:20:39,160 Speaker 2: It made him a little wider. 1847 01:20:39,240 --> 01:20:43,639 Speaker 3: It's like Kim Kardashian taking out her belly button. The opposite. Yeah, 1848 01:20:43,760 --> 01:20:45,719 Speaker 3: you see that making the waves? 1849 01:20:45,840 --> 01:20:48,519 Speaker 2: Okay, anyways, that's I guess. I thought that was a 1850 01:20:48,600 --> 01:20:50,559 Speaker 2: relief picture. I guess it does look a little odd 1851 01:20:50,680 --> 01:20:52,200 Speaker 2: because his body doesn't really fit. 1852 01:20:52,120 --> 01:20:57,280 Speaker 3: His It looks like this guy, Trey Kimmer if you 1853 01:20:57,360 --> 01:20:58,839 Speaker 3: watch do you watch ninety Day Fiance? 1854 01:21:00,120 --> 01:21:02,000 Speaker 5: But I know you're exactly. 1855 01:21:03,520 --> 01:21:04,960 Speaker 2: I had no idea. 1856 01:21:05,400 --> 01:21:13,120 Speaker 3: Yeah, I look up big, you're right, Okay. 1857 01:21:15,400 --> 01:21:18,240 Speaker 2: I think they should always take a if you if 1858 01:21:18,280 --> 01:21:21,240 Speaker 2: you're a positional player, you should have a bat in 1859 01:21:21,280 --> 01:21:24,679 Speaker 2: your hand, and if you're not, then you should have gloves. 1860 01:21:25,400 --> 01:21:28,680 Speaker 2: You or not. Now we know. So I could look 1861 01:21:28,800 --> 01:21:30,519 Speaker 2: through the pictures because that's what I was doing. I 1862 01:21:30,600 --> 01:21:31,840 Speaker 2: guess it is just that's just so. 1863 01:21:32,000 --> 01:21:35,519 Speaker 3: Our best guess is that people took Garrett Cole and 1864 01:21:35,720 --> 01:21:36,960 Speaker 3: made him Garrett swollen. 1865 01:21:37,080 --> 01:21:39,800 Speaker 2: Yeah, yes, because because he doesn't he didn't work out 1866 01:21:39,840 --> 01:21:43,320 Speaker 2: over the Offeason to get that big he didn't work out. 1867 01:21:43,760 --> 01:21:44,200 Speaker 5: I love that. 1868 01:21:44,280 --> 01:21:46,920 Speaker 3: We were actually not sure whether that was the real guy. 1869 01:21:47,479 --> 01:21:53,519 Speaker 3: He looks like, yeah, it's just the wild look. Okay, 1870 01:21:54,560 --> 01:21:58,240 Speaker 3: great tweets, love them all around. Tonight's game only one 1871 01:21:58,320 --> 01:22:02,519 Speaker 3: on le Yeah, game six Grizzlies Wolves. Now, you had 1872 01:22:02,520 --> 01:22:06,840 Speaker 3: a bad night last night in your predictions. But do 1873 01:22:06,960 --> 01:22:09,640 Speaker 3: you think the Memphis Grizzlies closed this outa Minnesota or 1874 01:22:09,640 --> 01:22:12,880 Speaker 3: we get a game seven, baby, our only game seven? 1875 01:22:12,920 --> 01:22:15,240 Speaker 3: It would be of course from the first round on Sunday, 1876 01:22:15,240 --> 01:22:16,160 Speaker 3: it would happen. What do you think. 1877 01:22:16,520 --> 01:22:18,519 Speaker 8: I think the Grizzlies closed it out really Okay, I 1878 01:22:18,600 --> 01:22:22,080 Speaker 8: think so. Uh not super confident in that pick. I mean, 1879 01:22:22,200 --> 01:22:24,880 Speaker 8: but the Wolves just haven't really been able to take 1880 01:22:24,920 --> 01:22:26,800 Speaker 8: control of these games and close them out when they 1881 01:22:26,800 --> 01:22:29,599 Speaker 8: should have. So I think Memphis realizes they can close 1882 01:22:29,600 --> 01:22:30,920 Speaker 8: it out and get ready for the Warriors in the 1883 01:22:31,000 --> 01:22:31,439 Speaker 8: next round. 1884 01:22:31,520 --> 01:22:32,120 Speaker 4: All right home. 1885 01:22:32,240 --> 01:22:34,599 Speaker 3: So that's what happens tonight Friday night. 1886 01:22:35,640 --> 01:22:38,280 Speaker 2: I'm a closer. I'm a closer, man. I think they 1887 01:22:38,600 --> 01:22:45,920 Speaker 2: finished the job. He's still doing it. No, he's not 1888 01:22:46,040 --> 01:22:48,679 Speaker 2: still doing it now. I can't even name a closer. 1889 01:22:48,800 --> 01:22:49,040 Speaker 4: B J. 1890 01:22:49,240 --> 01:22:54,200 Speaker 8: Ryan, former Big Left US he had. 1891 01:22:54,160 --> 01:22:57,360 Speaker 4: The big baseball what we love to do baseball guy? 1892 01:22:58,080 --> 01:23:01,439 Speaker 3: You guys or in your case name you know cricket, Yeah, 1893 01:23:01,920 --> 01:23:03,120 Speaker 3: I guess football players. 1894 01:23:04,040 --> 01:23:05,879 Speaker 2: Lee Smith was was the man. 1895 01:23:07,240 --> 01:23:11,160 Speaker 5: Smith. I love Lee Smith, E Smith, Bobby Thike pen 1896 01:23:11,479 --> 01:23:14,439 Speaker 5: what's set the saves record in the MLB? Yeah, because a pitcher isn't usually going 1901 01:23:24,600 --> 01:23:26,040 Speaker 3: like seven or eight innings anymore, right. 1902 01:23:26,479 --> 01:23:28,400 Speaker 2: Yeah, but they're still a designated closer. 1903 01:23:28,680 --> 01:23:30,680 Speaker 3: Yeah, but I saw recently they took out a guy 1904 01:23:30,720 --> 01:23:34,080 Speaker 3: that had a perfect game going what should be illegal? 1905 01:23:34,479 --> 01:23:35,439 Speaker 3: I should be illegal? 1906 01:23:35,920 --> 01:23:37,320 Speaker 2: Who is that? Somebody? 1909 01:23:41,560 --> 01:23:42,400 Speaker 3: Yeah, did you see that's that? 1910 01:23:42,479 --> 01:23:43,880 Speaker 4: But I thought we were talking about it at the 1911 01:23:43,920 --> 01:23:44,479 Speaker 4: game that night. 1912 01:23:46,000 --> 01:23:48,080 Speaker 2: He was Yeah, I think it was Kershaw was Dodger? 1913 01:23:48,280 --> 01:23:49,040 Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah right. 1914 01:23:49,560 --> 01:23:52,439 Speaker 2: It was his first game comeback from every pitch eighty 1915 01:23:52,520 --> 01:23:54,720 Speaker 2: pitches seven right, he pitched seven. 1916 01:23:54,840 --> 01:23:57,000 Speaker 9: Yeah, that's ridiculous, you know, Yeah, not a lot of 1917 01:23:57,040 --> 01:24:00,439 Speaker 9: pitches to the pitches, but they was on a PC pitch. 1918 01:24:01,040 --> 01:24:06,760 Speaker 9: Everything's so we're close. 1919 01:24:07,400 --> 01:24:07,720 Speaker 5: Close it. 1920 01:24:07,960 --> 01:24:10,200 Speaker 4: I mean he's aspiring to be the starting pitcher, isn't 1921 01:24:10,240 --> 01:24:10,559 Speaker 4: he never? 1922 01:24:11,120 --> 01:24:12,320 Speaker 5: No different skill sets? 1923 01:24:12,720 --> 01:24:14,000 Speaker 2: Man, not good enough? 1924 01:24:14,320 --> 01:24:16,599 Speaker 5: How many as fast as you can. 1925 01:24:16,880 --> 01:24:18,600 Speaker 8: Like you might throw three pitches and you're done and 1926 01:24:18,640 --> 01:24:21,880 Speaker 8: your job's done.
