If I don't do that, we gotta 29 00:01:38,760 --> 00:01:40,240 Speaker 4: say it. If we don't say it within the first 30 00:01:40,240 --> 00:01:43,160 Speaker 4: couple of minutes, you know what I'm saying. So it's 31 00:01:43,200 --> 00:01:44,720 Speaker 4: more of a bit of a deal for bloss back there. 32 00:01:44,760 --> 00:01:47,040 Speaker 4: He gets a little angry with me, which is fair. 33 00:01:47,040 --> 00:01:49,360 Speaker 4: It's meridian, but uh. 34 00:01:49,240 --> 00:01:51,680 Speaker 5: He so COVID you had it last year though in 35 00:01:51,720 --> 00:01:52,600 Speaker 5: training camp, didn't you? 36 00:01:55,080 --> 00:01:57,800 Speaker 1: Technically I had it, but it was kind of my fault. 37 00:01:57,920 --> 00:02:01,600 Speaker 1: So I went, how what do you that first two 38 00:02:01,680 --> 00:02:05,000 Speaker 1: days of camp, feeling good, I'm back in football, finally 39 00:02:05,040 --> 00:02:05,960 Speaker 1: back in the facility. 40 00:02:06,640 --> 00:02:08,360 Speaker 2: Get a call at five point thirty in the morning 41 00:02:08,840 --> 00:02:10,320 Speaker 2: and he's like, you tested positive. 42 00:02:10,320 --> 00:02:12,160 Speaker 1: Blah blah blah. It's like, how are you feeling? Yeah, 43 00:02:12,560 --> 00:02:14,760 Speaker 1: you have symptoms whatever. He's asked me a bunch of questions. 44 00:02:14,800 --> 00:02:16,600 Speaker 1: I'm like, listen, bro, I don't have it. 45 00:02:16,639 --> 00:02:18,600 Speaker 2: I feel good. I was like, I'm a little bit 46 00:02:18,600 --> 00:02:19,120 Speaker 2: stuffed up. 47 00:02:19,120 --> 00:02:21,519 Speaker 1: I have allergies around this time, but like I'm fine, 48 00:02:22,160 --> 00:02:24,880 Speaker 1: He's like he's talking to me whatever. And then he's like, yeah, 49 00:02:24,919 --> 00:02:27,920 Speaker 1: you know, technically, since you know you have allergies and 50 00:02:28,480 --> 00:02:30,880 Speaker 1: you're stuffed up, that that's considered a symptoms, so you 51 00:02:30,960 --> 00:02:33,120 Speaker 1: have to sit at home for ten days. This was 52 00:02:33,200 --> 00:02:36,120 Speaker 1: greatest training camp started. So I'm like, I shouldn't even 53 00:02:36,120 --> 00:02:38,079 Speaker 1: have said anything. I was just being honest. 54 00:02:38,520 --> 00:02:41,000 Speaker 5: So yeah, oh so wait, did you test positive for 55 00:02:41,040 --> 00:02:41,400 Speaker 5: it or not? 56 00:02:41,600 --> 00:02:44,320 Speaker 1: I tested positive, but they never retested me and I 57 00:02:44,400 --> 00:02:46,760 Speaker 1: never got sick because this was kind of the first 58 00:02:46,800 --> 00:02:48,919 Speaker 1: wave when all the that was, when it was thing 59 00:02:49,040 --> 00:02:50,480 Speaker 1: was kind of happenings like that. 60 00:02:50,639 --> 00:02:55,480 Speaker 5: Yeah, and it was wrong. I got you, yeah, I had. 61 00:02:58,600 --> 00:03:00,680 Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, I'm got to get naughty with that thing. 62 00:03:00,760 --> 00:03:02,200 Speaker 2: Yeah I know you get it. 63 00:03:02,520 --> 00:03:05,880 Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah you got a treat. 64 00:03:05,960 --> 00:03:08,040 Speaker 4: Yeah, true to right. You know what I'm saying, like, 65 00:03:08,080 --> 00:03:11,320 Speaker 4: don't feel weird, there's nothing. Yeah, just grab that thing, 66 00:03:11,360 --> 00:03:19,720 Speaker 4: get a little close to your mouth. But when, uh, 67 00:03:19,919 --> 00:03:21,720 Speaker 4: what game was it? I want to say it was 68 00:03:22,320 --> 00:03:26,520 Speaker 4: it was Green Bay. I Charro was feeling a little 69 00:03:26,600 --> 00:03:28,680 Speaker 4: under the weather, but it was kind of like a 70 00:03:28,720 --> 00:03:32,800 Speaker 4: mild headache and a very low fever. Like I'm talking 71 00:03:32,840 --> 00:03:36,720 Speaker 4: like ninety nine and a half like, nothing serious. And 72 00:03:36,840 --> 00:03:38,800 Speaker 4: I leave the house and she's like, you know, babe, 73 00:03:38,800 --> 00:03:40,560 Speaker 4: I don't want to I don't want to worry you, 74 00:03:41,360 --> 00:03:42,960 Speaker 4: but you know, I feeling like this, I would hate 75 00:03:42,960 --> 00:03:44,960 Speaker 4: for blah blah blah blah blah. So I basically take 76 00:03:44,960 --> 00:03:47,440 Speaker 4: a screenshot and send it to our head guy Todd, 77 00:03:48,480 --> 00:03:51,280 Speaker 4: and he's like, we got to do the whole close 78 00:03:51,320 --> 00:03:52,280 Speaker 4: contact thing with you. 79 00:03:52,480 --> 00:03:54,040 Speaker 2: And so I just just sit there and isolated. I 80 00:03:54,080 --> 00:03:55,720 Speaker 2: had to leave the facility. I had to go home. 81 00:03:55,840 --> 00:03:57,880 Speaker 4: I felt nothing, and I knew in my mind, I'm like, 82 00:03:58,120 --> 00:04:01,000 Speaker 4: there's nothing going on with her, you know what I'm saying, 83 00:04:01,040 --> 00:04:03,840 Speaker 4: Like it wasn't like she had the symptoms of COVID. 84 00:04:03,840 --> 00:04:05,440 Speaker 2: But you have to play. You got to play. You 85 00:04:05,440 --> 00:04:06,920 Speaker 2: had to play it so safe. This year, it was 86 00:04:07,000 --> 00:04:07,560 Speaker 2: like I. 87 00:04:07,480 --> 00:04:08,680 Speaker 5: Had to write a separate plane. 88 00:04:09,640 --> 00:04:12,440 Speaker 4: Even on the way back, I was like, I was like, uh, boys, 89 00:04:12,480 --> 00:04:15,640 Speaker 4: we win this game, Like oh wait, no, it's Texans. 90 00:04:15,880 --> 00:04:17,760 Speaker 4: It was a Texas because we did win. That's when 91 00:04:17,760 --> 00:04:20,400 Speaker 4: we won the clinch the division. Because I was pissed. 92 00:04:20,440 --> 00:04:22,039 Speaker 4: I had to isolate in the hotel room. 93 00:04:22,080 --> 00:04:23,640 Speaker 1: I remember that that was when we all were kind 94 00:04:23,640 --> 00:04:27,440 Speaker 1: of under a lot of ship. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, 95 00:04:27,480 --> 00:04:28,480 Speaker 1: and I was. 96 00:04:28,400 --> 00:04:30,880 Speaker 4: Like, boys, we clinched the division, like I'm riding back 97 00:04:30,880 --> 00:04:33,360 Speaker 4: with the fellas, Like I'm not riding by myself home. 98 00:04:33,960 --> 00:04:36,360 Speaker 4: But uh, because that you sit there and do retest, 99 00:04:36,560 --> 00:04:38,440 Speaker 4: which it seems like you didn't get the retest in 100 00:04:38,520 --> 00:04:39,159 Speaker 4: training camp. 101 00:04:39,360 --> 00:04:42,120 Speaker 1: No, I literally that was helpless. So you just chilled 102 00:04:42,160 --> 00:04:45,160 Speaker 1: at home for ten days? Yeah, middle of the training camp. 103 00:04:45,200 --> 00:04:47,720 Speaker 2: I came. I came back and it was halfway through 104 00:04:47,720 --> 00:04:52,200 Speaker 2: training camp. Wasn't nice though? Wasn't mad? Was he mad? 105 00:04:52,800 --> 00:04:55,440 Speaker 2: Like after the first couple of days, did you really 106 00:04:55,440 --> 00:04:56,200 Speaker 2: lose there? Yeah? 107 00:04:56,240 --> 00:04:58,880 Speaker 4: I didn't really lose like it would have been if 108 00:04:58,880 --> 00:05:01,640 Speaker 4: you had COVID for real. But since you didn't you 109 00:05:01,680 --> 00:05:04,240 Speaker 4: get out of training camp middle of training camp, we 110 00:05:04,279 --> 00:05:05,799 Speaker 4: already had a shortened training camp. 111 00:05:06,000 --> 00:05:09,320 Speaker 2: Yeah, it was. I mean I wasn't mad necessarily. 112 00:05:09,320 --> 00:05:12,760 Speaker 1: It was just the fact I knew Rod Marinelli was 113 00:05:12,800 --> 00:05:15,279 Speaker 1: gonna kill me when I came back, So that was 114 00:05:15,320 --> 00:05:16,360 Speaker 1: what was lingering. 115 00:05:16,080 --> 00:05:16,440 Speaker 2: In my head. 116 00:05:16,480 --> 00:05:18,280 Speaker 1: I'm like, I just city for ten days. I was like, 117 00:05:18,360 --> 00:05:20,719 Speaker 1: I really can't do that much at home. So I'm 118 00:05:20,720 --> 00:05:23,120 Speaker 1: like when I go back, I'm screwed. I'm gonna be dying, 119 00:05:23,520 --> 00:05:25,880 Speaker 1: Like because the first two days, Marionelli was literally trying 120 00:05:25,880 --> 00:05:26,360 Speaker 1: to kill us. 121 00:05:26,720 --> 00:05:29,440 Speaker 5: But you talk about the legend of Marinelli, bro I've heard, 122 00:05:29,480 --> 00:05:30,360 Speaker 5: I've heard stories. 123 00:05:31,040 --> 00:05:33,400 Speaker 2: I love that man. I love him. 124 00:05:33,880 --> 00:05:34,960 Speaker 5: I heard the old school. 125 00:05:35,120 --> 00:05:40,080 Speaker 1: Oh my god, he's a Vietnam veteran. He's straight from 126 00:05:40,080 --> 00:05:43,320 Speaker 1: the book. Like this dude, he walks up no matter 127 00:05:43,320 --> 00:05:45,240 Speaker 1: where you're at in the building, he just stirs the 128 00:05:45,279 --> 00:05:46,479 Speaker 1: pot at all times. 129 00:05:46,800 --> 00:05:47,360 Speaker 2: He'll come up. 130 00:05:47,400 --> 00:05:51,040 Speaker 1: He just tries to motivate you in so many odd ways. 131 00:05:51,080 --> 00:05:54,039 Speaker 1: But like it helps a ton because he just he 132 00:05:54,200 --> 00:05:55,960 Speaker 1: loves the shit so much and he's been in it 133 00:05:56,000 --> 00:05:58,560 Speaker 1: for so long. It's like you have to respect what 134 00:05:58,600 --> 00:06:00,560 Speaker 1: he says. But like 335 00:14:51,480 --> 00:14:53,080 Speaker 1: getting to talk to him after the game, I like 336 00:14:53,120 --> 00:14:54,760 Speaker 1: I looked at him. I looked like I was looking 337 00:14:54,800 --> 00:14:57,160 Speaker 1: at a guy. Yeah it's different, bro, Like I see 338 00:14:57,160 --> 00:14:59,480 Speaker 1: my homes and I Drew Breeze and those guys like 339 00:14:59,480 --> 00:15:02,560 Speaker 1: no disrespect to him, the fucking great players like something. 340 00:15:02,600 --> 00:15:05,160 Speaker 1: It was just different, bro, it was like not a human. Yeah, 341 00:15:05,160 --> 00:15:06,360 Speaker 1: it was different. I don't know what to do. 342 00:15:06,600 --> 00:15:08,440 Speaker 4: We played against the Patriots. When I was watching and 343 00:15:08,440 --> 00:15:11,120 Speaker 4: he pointed, He's like Jack's fifty one. I'm thinking, oh shit, 344 00:15:11,200 --> 00:15:14,600 Speaker 4: that's me. Yeah, you know, like yeah, like I get 345 00:15:14,640 --> 00:15:16,560 Speaker 4: you get mics like every game. You know what I'm saying, 346 00:15:16,600 --> 00:15:18,480 Speaker 4: but like what's coming out is not oh shit, that's 347 00:15:18,520 --> 00:15:20,880 Speaker 4: Tom Brady. He's fucking yeah, he's talking about me. 348 00:15:21,120 --> 00:15:23,520 Speaker 1: Like it's it's different, bro. I don't know what it 349 00:15:23,560 --> 00:15:26,080 Speaker 1: is with him, but he's just he's on disputed go. 350 00:15:26,800 --> 00:15:28,920 Speaker 1: It's like being a basketball player. And you're going against Jordan, 351 00:15:28,960 --> 00:15:31,200 Speaker 1: they're getting to meet him. It's like yeah, like that's 352 00:15:31,200 --> 00:15:34,480 Speaker 1: the few to go play the game. It's a football 353 00:15:34,520 --> 00:15:36,880 Speaker 1: for sure. Yeah, there's like all arguments. What do you 354 00:15:36,920 --> 00:15:39,480 Speaker 1: think about the arguments when people are making he the greatest? 355 00:15:39,520 --> 00:15:41,320 Speaker 1: Is he have the greatest resume of all time. 356 00:15:42,840 --> 00:15:44,720 Speaker 2: As far as like like if you're. 357 00:15:44,560 --> 00:15:47,120 Speaker 4: If you're measuring him up to like the goats of 358 00:15:47,120 --> 00:15:48,480 Speaker 4: the other sports, like Jordans. 359 00:15:49,200 --> 00:15:51,240 Speaker 1: Yeah, well you look at it. The first thing everyone 360 00:15:51,280 --> 00:15:53,480 Speaker 1: says is your rings? How many rings you have? Yeah, 361 00:15:53,520 --> 00:15:56,440 Speaker 1: he just passed Jordan's, so he's got seven. But the 362 00:15:56,440 --> 00:15:58,640 Speaker 1: only thing with Brady that just makes it weird. It's 363 00:15:58,720 --> 00:16:02,440 Speaker 1: like he's he's the greatest athlete of all time. That's 364 00:16:02,480 --> 00:16:06,480 Speaker 1: what people say. He's an athletics that white dude. Yeah, 365 00:16:06,600 --> 00:16:08,120 Speaker 1: so just like fuck. 366 00:16:07,960 --> 00:16:11,000 Speaker 6: Like he's it's hard to say, Yeah, he's the greatest 367 00:16:11,000 --> 00:16:12,560 Speaker 6: athlete of all time and he. 368 00:16:12,520 --> 00:16:16,640 Speaker 1: Couldn't outrun my dog. Yeah right, he's a meeta. Yeah, 369 00:16:16,680 --> 00:16:18,440 Speaker 1: Like that's why it's just weird. Like that's why I 370 00:16:18,480 --> 00:16:20,920 Speaker 1: think I guess a little tricky, Like you can't really 371 00:16:20,920 --> 00:16:21,680 Speaker 1: cross sports. 372 00:16:21,720 --> 00:16:22,600 Speaker 2: It's hard, it's too hard. 373 00:16:22,720 --> 00:16:25,440 Speaker 4: He's like he gets real tricky, But what's impressive about 374 00:16:25,480 --> 00:16:28,440 Speaker 4: it is he's won more championship Jordan in this in 375 00:16:28,520 --> 00:16:31,840 Speaker 4: the team game that is football. Yeah, because football is 376 00:16:31,880 --> 00:16:33,520 Speaker 4: like the most like you were saying it earlier, like 377 00:16:33,600 --> 00:16:34,720 Speaker 4: you need everybody. 378 00:16:35,000 --> 00:16:36,320 Speaker 5: It doesn't matter how well you start. 379 00:16:36,360 --> 00:16:38,240 Speaker 4: It's like you got to hit the stride going into 380 00:16:38,280 --> 00:16:41,360 Speaker 4: playoffs and you have to be on your ship because 381 00:16:41,360 --> 00:16:42,280 Speaker 4: there's only one game. 382 00:16:42,280 --> 00:16:43,400 Speaker 2: There's no best of seven. 383 00:16:44,080 --> 00:16:46,880 Speaker 4: You get one weekend between every game, like you're prepping 384 00:16:46,960 --> 00:16:47,880 Speaker 4: for that one game. 385 00:16:48,400 --> 00:16:49,480 Speaker 2: And it's just different, Like. 386 00:16:49,440 --> 00:16:52,680 Speaker 4: You have fifty three guys on a roster and you're 387 00:16:52,680 --> 00:16:55,240 Speaker 4: trying to get everybody drinking the same kool aid to 388 00:16:55,280 --> 00:16:58,040 Speaker 4: go after and win a Super Bowl when anything can 389 00:16:58,080 --> 00:17:00,800 Speaker 4: happen too. It's not like somebody can just take over. Yeah, 390 00:17:00,920 --> 00:17:03,280 Speaker 4: I mean Tom can, but you know you need everybody. 391 00:17:03,440 --> 00:17:05,359 Speaker 2: Yeah, you need a receiver to run the right route 392 00:17:05,400 --> 00:17:07,080 Speaker 2: and needs to catch it. He's got it. There's so 393 00:17:07,160 --> 00:17:09,080 Speaker 2: much to it. But when you look at him, you 394 00:17:09,119 --> 00:17:09,639 Speaker 2: don't win. 395 00:17:09,560 --> 00:17:13,040 Speaker 1: Fucking seven super Bowls by coincidence. Yeah, that just doesn't 396 00:17:13,080 --> 00:17:17,040 Speaker 1: happen by accident. Like he's it's his aura. I just 397 00:17:17,080 --> 00:17:19,119 Speaker 1: feel like that's what it is about him. Like the team, 398 00:17:19,240 --> 00:17:22,159 Speaker 1: Like when he came to the Buccaneers, they basically have 399 00:17:22,240 --> 00:17:24,920 Speaker 1: the same roster, Like why is he at the Buccaneers 400 00:17:24,960 --> 00:17:27,600 Speaker 1: there's seven to nine and like they're like, shit, Jamie 401 00:17:27,680 --> 00:17:30,760 Speaker 1: super five thousand yards. Like, Bro, Brady came in and 402 00:17:30,880 --> 00:17:34,040 Speaker 1: changed everything. They all bought in on Brady basically, right, 403 00:17:34,200 --> 00:17:36,600 Speaker 1: you come in you have a guy that's that highly respected. 404 00:17:37,200 --> 00:17:40,560 Speaker 1: It's that's it makes a difference. Bro, He's just yeah, 405 00:17:40,680 --> 00:17:43,560 Speaker 1: especially when he's your quarterback running the show. It's like 406 00:17:44,240 --> 00:17:46,399 Speaker 1: you don't want to disappoint him almost, That's what I 407 00:17:46,440 --> 00:17:48,720 Speaker 1: feel like, Like, yeah, four Nette was on his shit 408 00:17:48,920 --> 00:17:50,600 Speaker 1: like everybody was just clicking. 409 00:17:51,359 --> 00:17:52,960 Speaker 4: It's got to be different too, Like when you're one 410 00:17:52,960 --> 00:17:56,320 Speaker 4: of the players, Yeah and Tom's on your team. Yeah, 411 00:17:56,760 --> 00:17:59,520 Speaker 4: and he you speaks on basically anything, You're just like, oh, 412 00:17:59,520 --> 00:18:02,399 Speaker 4: that is that is fact. Whatever he's saying, you know 413 00:18:02,400 --> 00:18:04,720 Speaker 4: what I mean, Like, how do you how do you 414 00:18:04,760 --> 00:18:05,640 Speaker 4: think any differently? 415 00:18:06,160 --> 00:18:08,240 Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying, and debate him about like 416 00:18:08,480 --> 00:18:11,400 Speaker 2: argue like you're just like it's time like you yeah, 417 00:18:11,480 --> 00:18:13,800 Speaker 2: like we got to pick our shit up. Yeah, we 418 00:18:13,800 --> 00:18:14,679 Speaker 2: got to pick our up. 419 00:18:14,680 --> 00:18:16,959 Speaker 1: He knows how it looks, he knows how it's supposed 420 00:18:16,960 --> 00:18:20,639 Speaker 1: to look in practice. He's yeah, it's just powerful, It 421 00:18:20,640 --> 00:18:24,040 Speaker 1: really is, especially in football, there's too many moving pieces. 422 00:18:24,080 --> 00:18:27,240 Speaker 2: Like you have a guy like that, It's makes it easier, 423 00:18:27,359 --> 00:18:27,800 Speaker 2: no doubt. 424 00:18:28,480 --> 00:18:31,120 Speaker 4: Year one to year two, What are some of your 425 00:18:31,119 --> 00:18:34,679 Speaker 4: biggest what are the biggest differences going from year one 426 00:18:34,720 --> 00:18:37,159 Speaker 4: to year two? What you learn because you were you're 427 00:18:37,200 --> 00:18:40,320 Speaker 4: not a rookie anymore. Yeah, yeah, it was especially coming 428 00:18:40,359 --> 00:18:42,439 Speaker 4: off the rookie year you had. You had what ten sacks? 429 00:18:42,480 --> 00:18:44,480 Speaker 1: Yeah, ten sacks? I mean you were the big dog 430 00:18:44,560 --> 00:18:47,480 Speaker 1: on campus. Yeah, a little bit, but it was. It 431 00:18:47,560 --> 00:18:50,520 Speaker 1: was awesome. Like my whole experience from year one to 432 00:18:50,600 --> 00:18:53,000 Speaker 1: year two are completely different. And like for me, I 433 00:18:53,080 --> 00:18:55,520 Speaker 1: knew coming in, I'm a fourth round pick. I went 434 00:18:55,560 --> 00:19:00,720 Speaker 1: to Eastern Michigan trash cool. Yeah, okay, relax, well you 435 00:19:00,760 --> 00:19:01,720 Speaker 1: do beat Nebraska. 436 00:19:01,960 --> 00:19:03,359 Speaker 5: Okay, let's take it easy. 437 00:19:03,400 --> 00:19:09,240 Speaker 2: I'm serious. But anyway, we just going into that year. 438 00:19:09,280 --> 00:19:11,280 Speaker 1: Okay, I'm coming from Eastern. I have a fourth round guy, 439 00:19:11,280 --> 00:19:14,280 Speaker 1: I have no expectations. Like just for me, I'm like, okay, 440 00:19:14,280 --> 00:19:15,760 Speaker 1: I'm gonna just come in. I got to just prove 441 00:19:15,800 --> 00:19:18,600 Speaker 1: every single day that I've deserve to be on the team. 442 00:19:18,760 --> 00:19:20,960 Speaker 1: Like I wasn't even guaranteed the spot, like that was 443 00:19:20,960 --> 00:19:24,200 Speaker 1: a third string DM slotted in going into camp. 444 00:19:24,480 --> 00:19:29,440 Speaker 4: And y'all, y'all drafted, y'all drafted top five, same spot exactly. 445 00:19:29,600 --> 00:19:32,240 Speaker 1: So it was like, okay, Like I knew you would 446 00:19:32,320 --> 00:19:34,080 Speaker 1: have a lot more pressure than me. And for me, 447 00:19:34,160 --> 00:19:36,440 Speaker 1: it's like if I just come in, do my thing 448 00:19:36,480 --> 00:19:39,040 Speaker 1: every day, do what I've done all the college, come in, 449 00:19:39,119 --> 00:19:41,479 Speaker 1: I'll work people and just make plays. 450 00:19:41,560 --> 00:19:42,399 Speaker 2: That's all I gotta do. 451 00:19:42,440 --> 00:19:46,800 Speaker 1: And for me, my mindset never changed and it was 452 00:19:46,840 --> 00:19:48,679 Speaker 1: the same thing. You know, I just had an opportunity. 453 00:19:48,720 --> 00:19:50,679 Speaker 1: That's what it basically came down to. And you know, 454 00:19:50,680 --> 00:19:53,040 Speaker 1: I got my opportunity and everything, you know, panned out well. 455 00:19:53,080 --> 00:19:55,359 Speaker 1: But going into my second year, it was like, okay, 456 00:19:55,400 --> 00:19:57,840 Speaker 1: now it's flipped like now, okay, boom, you had ten 457 00:19:57,880 --> 00:20:00,680 Speaker 1: sacks of a rookie. Now everyone knows who you are. 458 00:20:01,160 --> 00:20:04,040 Speaker 1: You're getting expectation, more expectations. 459 00:20:04,640 --> 00:20:06,280 Speaker 2: You know. It's just a lot that goes with it. 460 00:20:06,359 --> 00:20:08,240 Speaker 1: And for me, like I didn't go to a big school, 461 00:20:08,520 --> 00:20:11,920 Speaker 1: so there's no social media outlet, it's like talking. 462 00:20:11,600 --> 00:20:13,040 Speaker 2: About you all the time. Like similar you know, we keep talking about 1038 00:43:43,840 --> 00:43:46,040 Speaker 1: d Wall but similar with him, he's just able to 1039 00:43:46,080 --> 00:43:50,200 Speaker 1: talk so freely about it. And like I, I haven't 1040 00:43:50,640 --> 00:43:52,680 Speaker 1: had to go through something like that, but just something 1041 00:43:52,680 --> 00:43:54,920 Speaker 1: as small as I've been doing premarial counseling with my 1042 00:43:54,960 --> 00:43:58,000 Speaker 1: fiance and even that stuff, it's like you start learning 1043 00:43:58,040 --> 00:44:01,240 Speaker 1: about what therapy is really like talking to a therapist 1044 00:44:01,360 --> 00:44:03,839 Speaker 1: or somebody that can help you get this emotions out 1045 00:44:03,840 --> 00:44:05,719 Speaker 1: of your basement that you didn't even know you had. 1046 00:44:06,000 --> 00:44:08,160 Speaker 5: You know what I'm saying, Like you're sitting there talking. 1047 00:44:08,239 --> 00:44:09,919 Speaker 4: I'm talking one time because we were talking about living 1048 00:44:09,920 --> 00:44:12,160 Speaker 4: in different places, and I'm talking about how I like 1049 00:44:12,239 --> 00:44:14,920 Speaker 4: living in Nashville, and she wants to live around like, 1050 00:44:15,440 --> 00:44:18,279 Speaker 4: you know, the beach or nature or something like that, 1051 00:44:18,480 --> 00:44:21,200 Speaker 4: somewhere that's not around people that I already know. And 1052 00:44:21,239 --> 00:44:25,600 Speaker 4: you're sitting there talking about it, and you start to realize, like, oh, 1053 00:44:25,960 --> 00:44:28,520 Speaker 4: I've just been comfortable moving around because I'm always going 1054 00:44:28,520 --> 00:44:31,160 Speaker 4: to my next city, to a next football team. Because 1055 00:44:31,200 --> 00:44:33,279 Speaker 4: she's like, well, when you moved to Nashville, you didn't 1056 00:44:33,280 --> 00:44:35,400 Speaker 4: nobody in Nashville. But in my head, I'm like, but 1057 00:44:35,480 --> 00:44:37,360 Speaker 4: I knew I was going to a locker room, like 1058 00:44:37,400 --> 00:44:39,400 Speaker 4: I knew I was going around people that I knew. 1059 00:44:39,800 --> 00:44:42,320 Speaker 4: So anytime I've had to move from Nebraska to DC 1060 00:44:42,560 --> 00:44:45,879 Speaker 4: to Oakland and Nashville, like, I always know, I'm going 1061 00:44:45,880 --> 00:44:48,799 Speaker 4: in an environment that I recognize. So that fear of 1062 00:44:48,840 --> 00:44:52,000 Speaker 4: not wanting to live somewhere where she's talking about living 1063 00:44:52,440 --> 00:44:54,400 Speaker 4: because she's not in the bubble that we'rer in my 1064 00:44:54,440 --> 00:44:57,759 Speaker 4: whole life Like that's where my fear comes from. And 1065 00:44:57,960 --> 00:44:59,960 Speaker 4: you sit there and you talk about your transition with football, 1066 00:45:00,080 --> 00:45:01,840 Speaker 4: how do you feel about your train like not playing 1067 00:45:01,840 --> 00:45:04,000 Speaker 4: football anymore will And I'm like, you know, I'm not 1068 00:45:04,120 --> 00:45:06,160 Speaker 4: like too nervous about her. It's scared about it because 1069 00:45:06,200 --> 00:45:09,359 Speaker 4: i feel like I've built I've prepared myself for this 1070 00:45:09,400 --> 00:45:12,960 Speaker 4: transition with busting with the boys and being like, you know, 1071 00:45:13,000 --> 00:45:15,319 Speaker 4: an advocate for doing things off the field that keeps 1072 00:45:15,360 --> 00:45:16,360 Speaker 4: my mind where I just. 1073 00:45:16,360 --> 00:45:18,200 Speaker 1: Don't identify as a football player. So I'm like, you know, 1074 00:45:18,239 --> 00:45:19,320 Speaker 1: I'm not too nervous about it. 1075 00:45:19,360 --> 00:45:21,279 Speaker 4: And she's like, you sit there and you talk about 1076 00:45:21,320 --> 00:45:23,880 Speaker 4: your life with and she's like, no, like you're scared, 1077 00:45:23,960 --> 00:45:27,759 Speaker 4: like you're sad, like you fear it, and I'm like, 1078 00:45:28,160 --> 00:45:29,920 Speaker 4: I'm like, I mean, she's like, listen, you don't have 1079 00:45:29,960 --> 00:45:31,879 Speaker 4: to be macho, like just talk about why you might 1080 00:45:31,920 --> 00:45:33,640 Speaker 4: fear it. And you're sitting there talking and you're going 1081 00:45:33,680 --> 00:45:36,080 Speaker 4: around and you're like as a kid going from little 1082 00:45:36,160 --> 00:45:39,000 Speaker 4: league to high school and just the next segment was 1083 00:45:39,040 --> 00:45:42,840 Speaker 4: paid for you or paved the way, was paved, paved 1084 00:45:42,840 --> 00:45:44,799 Speaker 4: the way, whatever you want to say, but you just 1085 00:45:44,840 --> 00:45:46,239 Speaker 4: go from locker room to the locker room and you're 1086 00:45:46,280 --> 00:45:49,640 Speaker 4: just always for thirty one years, it's just been my yeah, 1087 00:45:49,680 --> 00:45:52,719 Speaker 4: thirty years, right, it's already installed with the next move 1088 00:45:52,800 --> 00:45:54,680 Speaker 4: is going to be for me sort of like there's 1089 00:45:54,680 --> 00:45:57,680 Speaker 4: some unknown, but I know I'm playing ball and just 1090 00:45:57,719 --> 00:45:59,839 Speaker 4: being on the other side. She's like, no, like that 1091 00:46:00,160 --> 00:46:02,120 Speaker 4: is hard, Like that is tough, Like you don't have 1092 00:46:02,160 --> 00:46:03,239 Speaker 4: to act like it's not tough. 1093 00:46:03,680 --> 00:46:05,200 Speaker 2: And you're sitting there. She's like, you know, pick a 1094 00:46:05,200 --> 00:46:08,080 Speaker 2: word on the table, you pick a word from that sheet. 1095 00:46:07,840 --> 00:46:10,120 Speaker 4: Thing that everybody knows about. You said, you pick a 1096 00:46:10,160 --> 00:46:11,640 Speaker 4: word stuff. She's like, talk about it, and you're just 1097 00:46:11,680 --> 00:46:13,400 Speaker 4: sitting there. You're like, I I've kind of thought I 1098 00:46:13,440 --> 00:46:16,160 Speaker 4: already did talk about it. Like they're like, no, like 1099 00:46:16,360 --> 00:46:18,920 Speaker 4: you elaborate more, like what do you think it is 1100 00:46:18,960 --> 00:46:19,640 Speaker 4: that you're fearing? 1101 00:46:19,680 --> 00:46:21,359 Speaker 2: And you go on and on and the next thing 1102 00:46:21,360 --> 00:46:23,760 Speaker 2: you know, you're crying. You got tears coming. 1103 00:46:23,560 --> 00:46:25,640 Speaker 4: Out of your eyes and you don't know why. And 1104 00:46:25,719 --> 00:46:28,440 Speaker 4: I'm uncomfortable with big emotions. So I'm like, you know, 1105 00:46:28,480 --> 00:46:30,319 Speaker 4: I'm sitting there trying to use humor to get out 1106 00:46:30,320 --> 00:46:32,640 Speaker 4: of this conversation, you know what I'm saying. And you 1107 00:46:32,680 --> 00:46:36,080 Speaker 4: got to sit there and live in this world, in 1108 00:46:36,080 --> 00:46:39,440 Speaker 4: this basement of your your vulnerabilities that you didn't even 1109 00:46:39,480 --> 00:46:41,279 Speaker 4: know you had or have words to even come up 1110 00:46:41,320 --> 00:46:43,800 Speaker 4: with it, and like, you know, I've been in tears 1111 00:46:43,840 --> 00:46:46,279 Speaker 4: like five out of the seven appointments and you just 1112 00:46:46,320 --> 00:46:48,160 Speaker 4: don't know why. But I know at the end of it, 1113 00:46:48,320 --> 00:46:51,440 Speaker 4: I like love it. You get out with your girl and you're like, 1116 00:46:55,640 --> 00:46:57,840 Speaker 4: you know, this is awesome. You just have an awareness 1117 00:46:57,840 --> 00:47:00,560 Speaker 4: about like that you're learning with yourself that you're just 1118 00:47:00,600 --> 00:47:02,680 Speaker 4: like now I see, like you see that side of 1119 00:47:02,680 --> 00:47:05,520 Speaker 4: it where people talk about therapy, whether it's they're going 1120 00:47:05,560 --> 00:47:09,080 Speaker 4: through an addiction or just going to regular therapy or 1121 00:47:09,200 --> 00:47:11,200 Speaker 4: just they're battling things where you just go and talk 1122 00:47:11,239 --> 00:47:14,680 Speaker 4: with somebody, Like I do think there's there's something to it. 1123 00:47:14,760 --> 00:47:17,040 Speaker 4: I love it, Like I just absolutely love it. We would do coaching changes. 1397 00:59:19,400 --> 00:59:22,080 Speaker 4: You did I did a little I did a little 1398 00:59:22,080 --> 00:59:22,760 Speaker 4: segment on that. 1399 00:59:22,880 --> 00:59:25,320 Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, we had a you know, new coach. 1400 00:59:26,640 --> 00:59:29,720 Speaker 1: We had a bunch of new pieces that came in 1401 00:59:30,960 --> 00:59:35,280 Speaker 1: no offseason. Every level, we had new guys playing that 1402 00:59:35,320 --> 00:59:38,560 Speaker 1: have never played together. Communication, wise was not where it 1403 00:59:38,600 --> 00:59:42,680 Speaker 1: needed to be. Leadership wise wasn't where it needed to be. 1404 00:59:42,720 --> 00:59:46,960 Speaker 1: And I take responsibility. That's something I definitely am gonna 1405 00:59:46,960 --> 00:59:49,280 Speaker 1: work towards and being a better leader and more vocal. 1406 00:59:50,360 --> 00:59:52,560 Speaker 1: But like, yeah, we just weren't on the same page, 1407 00:59:52,600 --> 00:59:55,880 Speaker 1: Bro at all, and it was tough. You like you're 1410 01:00:00,800 --> 01:00:03,520 Speaker 1: back and forth, but it's like everyone knows this is 1411 01:00:03,560 --> 01:00:05,760 Speaker 1: a fucking elephan in the room. Like the defense is 1412 01:00:05,760 --> 01:00:08,640 Speaker 1: struggling that ship that bothers the ship out of me, Bro, 1413 01:00:08,720 --> 01:00:11,800 Speaker 1: I can't lie, Like, yeah, it was rough, but yeah, 1414 01:00:11,840 --> 01:00:14,320 Speaker 1: they try to use DC as like a scapegoad for 1415 01:00:14,400 --> 01:00:16,680 Speaker 1: every issue. I'm like, he's the one dude on the 1416 01:00:16,720 --> 01:00:19,600 Speaker 1: team that you don't have to worry about like DC, oh, 1417 01:00:20,080 --> 01:00:23,080 Speaker 1: no question, Like that's it's it's crazy, Bro. I feel 1418 01:00:23,120 --> 01:00:26,080 Speaker 1: like Stafford was similar to Stafford, like in Detroit, he 1419 01:00:26,120 --> 01:00:28,240 Speaker 1: had to go through all that ship, but like everyone 1420 01:00:28,280 --> 01:00:31,640 Speaker 1: knows Stafford's a baller Broster Like, so. 1421 01:00:31,840 --> 01:00:33,240 Speaker 2: Yeah, it's it's interesting. 1422 01:00:33,320 --> 01:00:37,560 Speaker 4: Yeah I had to I talked about PG on one episode. Yeah, and the the the person 1430 01:01:02,280 --> 01:01:04,720 Speaker 4: inside me did not want to call him back. But 1431 01:01:04,760 --> 01:01:07,440 Speaker 4: I'm thinking to myself, like, Okay, if I'm going to talk, 1432 01:01:07,520 --> 01:01:09,280 Speaker 4: if I'm going to talk about him and I'm going 1433 01:01:09,360 --> 01:01:12,200 Speaker 4: to talk about that issue on the pod, then I 1434 01:01:12,240 --> 01:01:13,920 Speaker 4: need to be I need to have the stones to 1435 01:01:13,960 --> 01:01:17,680 Speaker 4: call him back and talk to him. Was it was awkward, it 1457 01:02:12,440 --> 01:02:15,360 Speaker 4: was tough, for sure. I'm glad I did it. I'm 1458 01:02:15,360 --> 01:02:20,040 Speaker 4: glad I didn't puss out by calling back broad Yeah, 1459 01:02:20,120 --> 01:02:22,320 Speaker 4: I'm glad I did it. And you know, it was 1460 01:02:22,480 --> 01:02:24,960 Speaker 4: it was fair that he didn't like he didn't like it, 1461 01:02:25,000 --> 01:02:26,760 Speaker 4: but again, like you're just talking about your own player 1462 01:02:26,760 --> 01:02:30,360 Speaker 4: perspective of everything. He's like, look, I can't help I 1463 01:02:30,360 --> 01:02:32,400 Speaker 4: couldn't get you back to Vegas. I'm like, bro, I 1464 01:02:32,480 --> 01:02:35,560 Speaker 4: promise it had nothing to do with that because I 1465 01:02:36,200 --> 01:02:38,560 Speaker 4: was close to coming. I was close to coming that 1466 01:02:38,840 --> 01:02:42,080 Speaker 4: uh and fortunately the boys, the Titans offer what do 1467 01:02:42,360 --> 01:02:45,360 Speaker 4: you say. 1468 01:02:44,240 --> 01:02:45,440 Speaker 2: I was close to close. 1469 01:02:46,560 --> 01:02:51,640 Speaker 4: I was close to climax. But yeah, man, you know 1470 01:02:51,720 --> 01:02:53,760 Speaker 4: it's it suck because I did want to go. I 1471 01:02:53,800 --> 01:02:55,760 Speaker 4: did want to go play for the Raiders again, but 1472 01:02:55,840 --> 01:02:58,640 Speaker 4: it was like you couldn't not you know, having a 1473 01:02:58,640 --> 01:03:00,760 Speaker 4: home here and everything else and playing for the Titans. 1474 01:03:00,760 --> 01:03:05,160 Speaker 1: Like I don't blame you. You saw the jersey swap. Yeah, 1475 01:03:05,280 --> 01:03:06,360 Speaker 1: when I was on the Raiders. 1476 01:03:07,640 --> 01:03:09,600 Speaker 4: Not only did you, but it was it was an 1477 01:03:09,600 --> 01:03:11,640 Speaker 4: awkward room because I was like last coming in the 1478 01:03:11,680 --> 01:03:12,920 Speaker 4: locker room, and then it was kind of awkward the 1479 01:03:12,920 --> 01:03:15,960 Speaker 4: next day, Like it ain't like it rich. 1480 01:03:16,920 --> 01:03:20,560 Speaker 1: She's like a motherfucker, dude, I know I taking pictures. 1481 01:03:20,680 --> 01:03:22,360 Speaker 5: Yeah, I know, dude, I know. 1482 01:03:22,560 --> 01:03:26,160 Speaker 4: Like I struggled with that, but like also I knew 1483 01:03:26,200 --> 01:03:28,480 Speaker 4: it was just in the moment, Like I knew it 1484 01:03:28,600 --> 01:03:30,680 Speaker 4: was just anger and emotion. Like in the moment, I 1485 01:03:30,680 --> 01:03:33,360 Speaker 4: was trying to like be outside of that and like, look, 1486 01:03:34,240 --> 01:03:36,720 Speaker 4: I know him on the back end. These moments don't 1487 01:03:36,800 --> 01:03:38,880 Speaker 4: just happen, Like you don't just play in the NFL forever. 1488 01:03:38,960 --> 01:03:40,840 Speaker 4: Like this is a game that I don't even remember 1489 01:03:40,840 --> 01:03:43,200 Speaker 4: what the score was now, but like it's gonna be 1490 01:03:43,280 --> 01:03:46,960 Speaker 4: an afterthought, like this moment, I just did it, but 1491 01:03:47,040 --> 01:03:49,840 Speaker 4: I knew. I knew I was gonna have some like looks, 1492 01:03:49,840 --> 01:03:52,360 Speaker 4: some side ice from it, rightfully, so like it was merited. 1493 01:03:52,440 --> 01:03:54,640 Speaker 2: No, I'm like I got it. 1494 01:03:54,800 --> 01:03:57,040 Speaker 5: Yeah, it's like you're gonna bust my balls. But people 1495 01:03:57,080 --> 01:03:58,120 Speaker 5: you like just do it. 1496 01:03:58,120 --> 01:04:02,800 Speaker 1: To piss off and just because he was like oh boys, yeah, 1497 01:04:02,800 --> 01:04:04,400 Speaker 1: I'm like you fake motherfucker. 1498 01:04:05,200 --> 01:04:08,720 Speaker 2: I knew that would flock to it. Instead 1565 01:07:08,560 --> 01:07:11,200 Speaker 4: of spreading it out over two years, he signed for 1566 01:07:11,280 --> 01:07:14,280 Speaker 4: like five years, right, three voidable years, So they're able 1567 01:07:14,320 --> 01:07:16,480 Speaker 4: to spread that signing bonus out for like five years. 1568 01:07:16,520 --> 01:07:20,000 Speaker 4: Like teams are getting savvy and creative. Yeah, but it's 1569 01:07:20,040 --> 01:07:23,200 Speaker 4: been a uh it's been a crazy week. How do 1570 01:07:23,240 --> 01:07:26,800 Speaker 4: you feel about, uh, the Chiefs because they're in the 1571 01:07:26,800 --> 01:07:32,080 Speaker 4: division letting go of both of their both of their tackles. 1572 01:07:32,360 --> 01:07:33,960 Speaker 5: What did you think when you saw that come across 1573 01:07:33,960 --> 01:07:34,320 Speaker 5: the ticker? 1574 01:07:34,440 --> 01:07:38,280 Speaker 2: Well, it's honestly, it definitely surprised me, like everything. 1575 01:07:38,320 --> 01:07:40,480 Speaker 1: It was funny. I woke up, I woke him in 1576 01:07:40,520 --> 01:07:42,720 Speaker 1: the morning, and I had so many people fucking doing 1577 01:07:42,760 --> 01:07:45,680 Speaker 1: like different memes and shit. They're like Max Crosby when 1578 01:07:45,680 --> 01:07:47,880 Speaker 1: he wakes up this morning, blah blah blah. It's like 1579 01:07:47,960 --> 01:07:50,440 Speaker 1: these crazy ass memes and I'm like, what the fuck? 1580 01:07:50,880 --> 01:07:52,920 Speaker 1: But yeah, like I don't know, bro, it's tough. Like 1581 01:07:53,840 --> 01:07:56,720 Speaker 1: Eric Fisher tore his achilles, Like that's the fuck. That's tough. 1582 01:07:56,800 --> 01:07:58,800 Speaker 1: Like oh yeah, So it's like, yeah, like I don't know. 1583 01:07:58,960 --> 01:08:00,600 Speaker 1: To put the team in a hard spot, it puts 1584 01:08:00,680 --> 01:08:03,480 Speaker 1: the player in a hard spot. And like Mitchell Schwartz is, 1585 01:08:03,520 --> 01:08:05,640 Speaker 1: he's been dealing with a lot of bad like back 1586 01:08:05,760 --> 01:08:08,520 Speaker 1: problems and he's had issues too, So I don't know 1587 01:08:08,560 --> 01:08:10,560 Speaker 1: if they're gonna bring the guys back. But like I 1588 01:08:10,600 --> 01:08:13,480 Speaker 1: played the Chiefs this year. The first time I played, 1589 01:08:13,600 --> 01:08:16,160 Speaker 1: they were both playing, and the second time, I think 1590 01:08:16,200 --> 01:08:20,439 Speaker 1: Schwartz was out. Yeah, so Schwartz was out and Fisher 1591 01:08:20,520 --> 01:08:22,960 Speaker 1: was a little bit banged up, so like, yeah, you 1592 01:08:23,080 --> 01:08:26,120 Speaker 1: saw what happened, Like, yeah, was struggling, bro, they and. 1593 01:08:26,080 --> 01:08:27,840 Speaker 2: Now they just let go both them started out. So 1594 01:08:27,880 --> 01:08:30,320 Speaker 2: obviously you know they have a plan. They're not domb Yeah, 1595 01:08:30,320 --> 01:08:32,639 Speaker 2: they're not gonna not do We're gonna revamp and get 1596 01:08:32,720 --> 01:08:34,800 Speaker 2: some guys for sure. So I peel. 1597 01:08:34,800 --> 01:08:37,320 Speaker 4: I saw one funny when it was like mahomes because 1598 01:08:37,400 --> 01:08:38,640 Speaker 4: you know, he was trying to put the team on 1599 01:08:38,680 --> 01:08:40,719 Speaker 4: his back in the Super Bowl, but he's like throwing 1600 01:08:40,760 --> 01:08:42,880 Speaker 4: the ball laterally, and they're like, you know, fuck it, 1601 01:08:42,920 --> 01:08:45,040 Speaker 4: Like we'll put it all on Patch Mahomes. Like yeah, 1602 01:08:45,040 --> 01:08:46,920 Speaker 4: we saw him, you know, get rid of the whole line, 1603 01:08:46,960 --> 01:08:48,760 Speaker 4: crypt clear up the cast pace and just let Pat 1604 01:08:48,760 --> 01:08:52,200 Speaker 4: Mahomes do his thing. But that stuff's wild. And then 1605 01:08:52,320 --> 01:08:56,160 Speaker 4: Dak he signs a huge deal with the Cowboys. Uh, 1606 01:08:56,320 --> 01:08:59,040 Speaker 4: Jerry Jones ponies up and pays him, and some people 1607 01:08:59,040 --> 01:09:00,879 Speaker 4: were saying that that could be tipping off. 1608 01:09:02,160 --> 01:09:04,080 Speaker 2: The TV money. 1609 01:09:04,200 --> 01:09:06,000 Speaker 4: Yeah, I saw something where it's like he could be 1610 01:09:06,040 --> 01:09:08,000 Speaker 4: tipping off what the TV deals might look. 1611 01:09:07,880 --> 01:09:11,360 Speaker 2: Like between the NFL. Uh. But I mean it's it's 1612 01:09:11,400 --> 01:09:13,720 Speaker 2: been a wild off season already and honestly hasn't even 1613 01:09:13,720 --> 01:09:16,240 Speaker 2: started because for agency opens up next week. They they 1655 01:10:54,040 --> 01:10:56,120 Speaker 1: came with this opportunity, and now I really get to 1656 01:10:56,160 --> 01:10:58,519 Speaker 1: do it. Brow 1660 01:11:05,640 --> 01:11:08,320 Speaker 2: and Gruden's the same way. But I love Mayoc though, 1663 01:11:14,680 --> 01:11:16,679 Speaker 1: and Gruden that fucking brother dialed. 1664 01:11:16,800 --> 01:11:18,600 Speaker 2: Are you gonna see him next week? Oh yeah, I 1665 01:11:18,600 --> 01:11:22,200 Speaker 2: see them all the time in the work. You know 1666 01:11:22,240 --> 01:11:26,639 Speaker 2: what I'm saying, got this guy? Well come hey. 1667 01:11:25,520 --> 01:11:30,800 Speaker 1: Remember hey, remember something goes you know left you got them? Yeah, 1668 01:11:30,960 --> 01:11:34,759 Speaker 1: you know you got well yeah growing up. You mentioned 1669 01:11:34,800 --> 01:11:37,320 Speaker 1: playing ball in Texas? Yeah, oh yeah, what was it 1670 01:11:37,400 --> 01:11:39,200 Speaker 1: like playing high school football in Texas? Were you were 1671 01:11:39,240 --> 01:11:41,080 Speaker 1: you actually in it? Like where you where'd you actually 1672 01:11:41,080 --> 01:11:42,880 Speaker 1: play at? Like what it is? So I played at 1673 01:11:42,880 --> 01:11:45,920 Speaker 1: college Ohritage, we played Trinity play South like Carrol. 1674 01:11:46,280 --> 01:11:48,120 Speaker 2: Some of the best teams in the country. Bro. 1675 01:11:48,280 --> 01:11:51,360 Speaker 1: Like our our division my senior year was one of 1676 01:11:51,360 --> 01:11:54,720 Speaker 1: the highest ranked like conferences in the country. Like there 1677 01:11:54,800 --> 01:11:57,160 Speaker 1: was dudes, like I I was telling you on the 1678 01:11:57,160 --> 01:12:01,600 Speaker 1: way here. Like we played played Cedar Hill in the 1679 01:12:01,600 --> 01:12:04,280 Speaker 1: first round of the playoffs the Cowboys Stadium. They had 1680 01:12:04,320 --> 01:12:07,360 Speaker 1: like fifteen to twenty Division one players. Like in my 1681 01:12:07,479 --> 01:12:09,560 Speaker 1: school we were six A. So we're the highest of 1682 01:12:09,560 --> 01:12:12,519 Speaker 1: the high ranking. So we of our school, like we 1683 01:12:12,520 --> 01:12:15,920 Speaker 1: were the one school that didn't have crazy talent, because 1684 01:12:15,920 --> 01:12:17,519 Speaker 1: a lot of those schools of South Lay Carroll's they 1685 01:12:17,520 --> 01:12:20,280 Speaker 1: have like six thousand kids, like Allen's thirty minutes down 1686 01:12:20,320 --> 01:12:22,120 Speaker 1: the road where Kyler Murray went. Yeah, oh, they have 1687 01:12:22,200 --> 01:12:25,280 Speaker 1: like fucking it's like a college campus. It's unbelievable. So 1688 01:12:25,360 --> 01:12:28,439 Speaker 1: like us, we were just below. We were just at 1689 01:12:28,439 --> 01:12:30,160 Speaker 1: the limit where we had enough kids where we could 1690 01:12:30,200 --> 01:12:32,599 Speaker 1: be six A. But once I left, we went down 1691 01:12:32,680 --> 01:12:35,439 Speaker 1: like we lost a couple hundred kids and we went 1692 01:12:35,439 --> 01:12:38,320 Speaker 1: down to five A. So like my last two years, 1693 01:12:38,320 --> 01:12:40,280 Speaker 1: like high school, like we were bro. Every game was 1694 01:12:40,280 --> 01:12:44,040 Speaker 1: a war, like in the environment, like we have fifteen 1695 01:12:44,080 --> 01:12:46,840 Speaker 1: thousand in our in our high school and we have 1696 01:12:47,000 --> 01:12:50,439 Speaker 1: big ass stadiums, Like our stadium was sick. 1697 01:12:50,760 --> 01:12:53,599 Speaker 2: Oh, so you're playing Texas football. We're playing real like 1698 01:12:54,040 --> 01:12:55,120 Speaker 2: every every week. Bro. 1699 01:12:55,240 --> 01:12:57,679 Speaker 1: I played like there was a stretch during that season 1700 01:12:57,720 --> 01:12:59,800 Speaker 1: we played like ten was ten games. In high school, 1701 01:13:00,200 --> 01:13:02,040 Speaker 1: I played like six weeks in a row of Division 1702 01:13:02,040 --> 01:13:04,760 Speaker 1: One Power five tackles. It was my first year playing 1703 01:13:04,800 --> 01:13:07,320 Speaker 1: d n B. I was a linebacker my whole life 1704 01:13:07,320 --> 01:13:09,439 Speaker 1: and just hit a girl spur and they're like I 1705 01:13:09,479 --> 01:13:11,719 Speaker 1: was six or five and goofy and fucking awkward. 1706 01:13:11,720 --> 01:13:17,040 Speaker 2: They're like yeah, and we got new coaches and everything, 1707 01:13:17,040 --> 01:13:17,639 Speaker 2: and I'm like all. 1708 01:13:17,640 --> 01:13:19,360 Speaker 1: Right, like hey man, you run like a giraffe. You 1709 01:13:19,400 --> 01:13:20,639 Speaker 1: cannot play linebacker anymore. 1710 01:13:20,800 --> 01:13:21,240 Speaker 2: Move them up. 1711 01:13:21,280 --> 01:13:23,479 Speaker 1: They're like, put them on the line. So I played 1712 01:13:23,520 --> 01:13:27,280 Speaker 1: DM BRO I was playing played against Alabama. An Alabama kid, 1713 01:13:27,840 --> 01:13:31,559 Speaker 1: fucking Connor Williams. He was a starting tackle for Coppell 1714 01:13:31,600 --> 01:13:33,960 Speaker 1: and he's like he's a starting guard for the Cowboys. 1715 01:13:33,960 --> 01:13:37,640 Speaker 1: Now there's fucking every fucking week, bro, kids at a 1716 01:13:37,640 --> 01:13:38,800 Speaker 1: big school, Texas Tech. 1717 01:13:39,479 --> 01:13:41,439 Speaker 2: It was like, this was my first year playing. 1718 01:13:41,760 --> 01:13:44,800 Speaker 4: I'm just trying to not in Missouri my thing, bro, Hey, 1719 01:13:44,920 --> 01:13:45,759 Speaker 4: not in Missouri. 1720 01:13:46,280 --> 01:13:48,000 Speaker 1: Yeah, like I was. I was able to do my thing. 1721 01:13:48,040 --> 01:13:50,479 Speaker 1: I was making I was, I was making plays. But 1722 01:13:50,600 --> 01:13:53,799 Speaker 1: like it was real football, Like this ship was fucking life, 1723 01:13:53,880 --> 01:13:58,560 Speaker 1: like the parents are, bro. The tailgates were fucking insane. 1724 01:13:58,600 --> 01:14:01,639 Speaker 1: The whole parking lot. Everybody's at the game, bro, every 1725 01:14:01,640 --> 01:14:03,759 Speaker 1: Friday night. It was like fucking party. 1726 01:14:03,800 --> 01:14:07,320 Speaker 2: Bro. It was nuts. Like I loved it. Oh, it 1727 01:14:07,439 --> 01:14:09,160 Speaker 2: was unreal. Yeah, not Missouri. 1728 01:14:09,200 --> 01:14:11,240 Speaker 4: I'm just sitting here listening to him, like, man, it's like, damn, 1729 01:14:11,280 --> 01:14:12,280 Speaker 4: Missouri wasn't shit. 1730 01:14:12,479 --> 01:14:15,679 Speaker 1: You went to fuck in Nebraska, you have that's true. Yeah, 1731 01:14:15,680 --> 01:14:20,040 Speaker 1: he went to Eastern Chigan. We literally had fifteen thousand, 1732 01:14:20,120 --> 01:14:23,040 Speaker 1: twenty thousand other games maybe at college games. 1733 01:14:23,040 --> 01:14:25,559 Speaker 4: Did you see the shit going on with Nebraska? No 1734 01:14:26,000 --> 01:14:27,559 Speaker 4: talking about I'm trying to not play ou. 1735 01:14:28,880 --> 01:14:29,120 Speaker 2: I don't know. 1736 01:14:29,160 --> 01:14:32,640 Speaker 4: I think it's money. I'm not listening. Scott Frost and 1737 01:14:32,680 --> 01:14:37,799 Speaker 4: the boy Yeah, Scott Frost and the Boys anytime anywhere, 1738 01:14:38,000 --> 01:14:40,519 Speaker 4: he said it. You know what I'm saying, anytime we 1739 01:14:40,600 --> 01:14:42,840 Speaker 4: might lose. You know what I'm saying, the probability is 1740 01:14:42,920 --> 01:14:46,080 Speaker 4: higher based on though we've been performing. But the boys, 1741 01:14:46,120 --> 01:14:48,559 Speaker 4: they ain't backing down from Oklahoma. It's the suits. There's 1742 01:14:48,600 --> 01:14:50,040 Speaker 4: some shit going on, you know what I mean. 1743 01:14:50,120 --> 01:14:53,760 Speaker 1: I'll bet you right now they lose by thirty. 1744 01:14:54,360 --> 01:14:56,280 Speaker 2: You're gonna give me a thirty points. Somebody from the OU side leak something 1753 01:15:22,280 --> 01:15:24,640 Speaker 4: because they're not getting their way in some negotiation. Those boys 1757 01:15:32,360 --> 01:15:35,559 Speaker 4: in Nebraska are ready to go anytime anywhere.
