Yeah, a child 0:06:55.240 --> 0:06:59.599 usually enters into the trafficking situation or prostitution. The average 0:06:59.680 --> 0:07:02.440 age anywhere is between thirteen and fifteen years of age 0:07:02.480 --> 0:07:06.480 in the United States, and the statistics are really dangerous. Unfortunately, 0:07:06.520 --> 0:07:09.800 there's not a lot of really good solid research. You'll 0:07:09.800 --> 0:07:12.880 hear numbers from everywhere from a hundred thousand kids at 0:07:12.960 --> 0:07:17.120 risk for commercial sexual exploitation to three hundred thousand. Because 0:07:17.120 --> 0:07:19.960 it's the issue is such an in the shadows kind 0:07:19.960 --> 0:07:23.440 of issued. Many times victims don't come forth, or they're 0:07:23.560 --> 0:07:27.200 arrested as criminals. Even most states, a fifteen year old 0:07:27.320 --> 0:07:30.840 is picked up for prostitution, they're arrested as a criminal 0:07:30.920 --> 0:07:32.720 and thrown into jail. The next day, the pimp fails 0:07:32.720 --> 0:07:34.280 them out in their back in the situation, so they're 0:07:34.280 --> 0:07:36.920 not even counted as a victim of traffic.
