Horrendous and unthinkable, 0:01:20.577 --> 0:01:23.297 is of course the quote here, and that's true. Accept 0:01:23.337 --> 0:01:25.697 it is not unthinkable in so far as this happens 0:01:25.897 --> 0:01:27.897 pretty frequently. You look at what goes on in a 0:01:27.937 --> 0:01:32.777 normal weekend in Chicago. This has become far too routine 0:01:32.817 --> 0:01:36.057 in this country. So yes, it is horrendous. But the 0:01:36.137 --> 0:01:40.257 reality is we are going through a continued surge in 0:01:40.417 --> 0:01:44.897 violent crime in this country, and it's from shootings, murders, 0:01:44.897 --> 0:01:47.377 the worst kinds of violent crimes all the way down 0:01:47.377 --> 0:01:52.217 to the day today. Anarchy of lawlessness and people feeling 0:01:52.577 --> 0:01:56.657 like they can get away with breaking laws with impunity. 0:01:56.817 --> 0:01:58.737 I mean, for example, this was just in New York City, 0:01:58.737 --> 0:02:03.217 a Dwayne Reid store here where an individual stole from 0:02:03.217 --> 0:02:08.017 the store, returned ten minutes later after being engaged in theft, 0:02:08.097 --> 0:02:13.097 after being a shoplifter to attack staff with a bike chain. 0:02:13.617 --> 0:02:16.337 And he's got to know that he's on video. He's 0:02:16.377 --> 0:02:19.297 not even wearing a mask, doesn't care. Figures. Well, Psi Boudan, who has turned 0:03:22.457 --> 0:03:28.337 San Francisco into something approximating an urban hellhole. He is 0:03:28.497 --> 0:03:32.497 finally facing voters who have realized what a mess he 0:03:32.537 --> 0:03:35.377 has made of their city. On Tuesday, come up tomorrow, 0:03:35.417 --> 0:03:39.617 Boudan faces voters in a recall election backed by business 0:03:39.617 --> 0:03:42.097 owners who are unhappy with his performance, to say the least. 0:03:42.497 --> 0:03:46.097 Poles indicate his austerers, supported by the majority of residents 0:03:46.457 --> 0:03:49.497 in the incredibly left wing city that has seen a 0:03:49.617 --> 0:03:52.977 spike in murder as well as other crimes across the country. 0:03:53.017 --> 0:03:56.657 So this could be the beginning of some accountability for 0:03:56.817 --> 0:04:02.457 what is a shockingly stupid, reckless, dangerous idea pushed by 0:04:02.457 --> 0:04:04.937 the left that well, if we just have fewer people 0:04:04.977 --> 0:04:09.897 in prison, we'll have a better, safer society. That's not true. 0:04:10.137 --> 0:04:12.017 Are in prison because they are a danger to their 0:04:12.017 --> 0:04:15.377 fellow human beings. That's where they should be. Progressive prosecutors include distric attorneys of 0:05:22.737 --> 0:05:26.457 Los Angeles County, New York County, which encompasses Manhattan, Chicago's 0:05:26.457 --> 0:05:30.137 Cook County, in Philadelphia, all places where homicides went up 0:05:30.177 --> 0:05:35.177 during the pandemic and a lockdowns. Yeah, this was very predictable, right, 0:05:35.617 --> 0:05:37.577 but they did it anyway, and then they lied to 0:05:37.657 --> 0:05:39.937 us to want to remind everybody that while the numbers 0:05:39.977 --> 0:05:44.457 started to show substantial increases in homicides and violent crime 0:05:44.497 --> 0:05:47.057 in these cities, you know what the progressives were saying, Oh, 0:05:47.097 --> 0:05:51.457 it's the pandemic, as if people being told to stay 0:05:51.497 --> 0:05:53.817 home and not interact with each other because there is 0:05:53.817 --> 0:05:55.857 a disease that we are much more concerned about them 0:05:55.857 --> 0:05:58.297 than we are now. That was spreading would result in 0:05:58.377 --> 0:06:01.337 more murders. That doesn't make sense. Some support from democrats.
