Um, nothing wacky right out of the gate. He's very ahead of his time. So he um he was he 0:08:51.679 --> 0:08:58.280 was a progressive doctor in that like he prescribed sanitation practices, um, 0:08:58.280 --> 0:09:02.840 he prescribed fresh air. Um. He also apparently came up 0:09:02.880 --> 0:09:06.319 with a rose hip lozenge to help cure plague, mild 0:09:06.360 --> 0:09:09.560 cases of plague, and that actually makes sense because rose 0:09:09.640 --> 0:09:12.120 hips are packed of vitamin C. So he was a 0:09:12.120 --> 0:09:14.640 pretty good doctor and had a good record. And from 0:09:14.679 --> 0:09:17.560 that he lived in this village with his wife and 0:09:17.640 --> 0:09:21.640 children and had a patron who basically supported the family. 0:09:22.040 --> 0:09:24.360 And then once his wife and children died, he couldn't 0:09:24.400 --> 0:09:27.920 cure them. So it aligned in that way. Bam case salved No 0:13:17.520 --> 0:13:22.679 Astronomicus is the real deal, because that supposedly happened. You know. Well, in his actual text in the centuries 0:16:37.800 --> 0:16:44.840 he wrote Villaneuve Vienneuve, which means in French the new city, 0:16:44.880 --> 0:16:47.880 But it was also a city in France at the 0:16:47.960 --> 0:16:52.400 time that he was probably talking about. So there's a 0:16:52.480 --> 0:16:57.600 lot of translation and interpretation that can come together and 0:16:57.960 --> 0:17:01.320 really lead to a misunder standing. If there is even 0:17:01.360 --> 0:17:03.520 such a thing at all with Nostre Damas. Can you 0:17:03.560 --> 0:17:07.680 misunderstand him? I don't think it's possible. Can you misunderstand 0:17:07.680 --> 0:17:12.040 what's not understandable?
