You know, hip hop was Black 0:28:51.320 --> 0:28:54.160 Lives Matter in the late eighties throughout the nineties in 0:28:54.240 --> 0:28:57.160 terms of being that that movement to give voice to 0:28:57.320 --> 0:28:59.960 all of the exact same issues that are finally making 0:29:00.040 --> 0:29:05.239 it into the mainstream discourse recently. Black 0:31:17.280 --> 0:31:21.400 people for many years have been somewhat indifferent.
