Justices ended the right of American 0:15:52.960 --> 0:15:56.360 women to choose abortion under the Constitution. But we begin 0:15:56.440 --> 0:15:59.960 this morning with the decision that sent shockwaves across America, 0:16:00.360 --> 0:16:05.000 the Supreme Court ending constitutional protection for abortions by overturning 0:16:05.080 --> 0:16:08.680 Row versus Wade. In a landmark decision Friday, the Court's 0:16:08.840 --> 0:16:13.040 five most conservative justices struck down the nearly fifty year 0:16:13.080 --> 0:16:16.480 old ruling and a nineteen ninety two case that reaffirmed 0:16:16.520 --> 0:16:19.680 the right to an abortion. The decision in this new case, 0:16:19.720 --> 0:16:23.640 Stobs versus Jackson Women's Health Organization, sends the issue of 0:16:23.680 --> 0:16:27.000 abortion rights back to the states, and it's likely to 0:16:27.040 --> 0:16:30.760 result in abortion bans in about half.
