1 00:00:03,080 --> 00:00:06,960 Speaker 1: You're listening to Seahawks rewind giving you expert analysis from 2 00:00:06,960 --> 00:00:10,360 Speaker 1: the Seahawks post game show with former Seahawks Paul Moyer, 3 00:00:10,680 --> 00:00:14,080 Speaker 1: Ray Roberts, and Robert Turbin. Here from head coach Pete 4 00:00:14,080 --> 00:00:17,720 Speaker 1: Carroll and Seahawks players in the locker room. Now here's 5 00:00:17,760 --> 00:00:21,720 Speaker 1: your host, Michael Bumps. What a game down in Los Angeles. 6 00:00:21,760 --> 00:00:24,160 Speaker 1: Signed Michael Bumps. I'll be joined by the crew, Brian 7 00:00:24,200 --> 00:00:27,040 Speaker 1: Walter's Big Gray Roberts, Robert Turbin, and Paul Moyer. The 8 00:00:27,160 --> 00:00:29,120 Speaker 1: Seahawks go down to LA and get it done in 9 00:00:29,200 --> 00:00:33,159 Speaker 1: thrilling fashion. Twenty seven to twenty three. Geno has his 10 00:00:33,280 --> 00:00:35,440 Speaker 1: game winning drive that we've been looking for. He was 11 00:00:35,440 --> 00:00:38,479 Speaker 1: twenty eight of thirty nine three sixty seven, which was 12 00:00:38,520 --> 00:00:42,360 Speaker 1: a career high three touchdowns, one intercessions. We saw some 13 00:00:42,440 --> 00:00:44,559 Speaker 1: shuffling in the backfield when it comes to the running back. 14 00:00:44,640 --> 00:00:47,560 Speaker 1: Ken Walker goes out early, DJ Dallas gets his angle 15 00:00:47,640 --> 00:00:50,360 Speaker 1: banged up, and then Tony Jones Junior gets in and 16 00:00:50,400 --> 00:00:53,440 Speaker 1: has seven carries himself. Two receivers go over one hundred 17 00:00:53,479 --> 00:00:56,320 Speaker 1: and twenty yards. Tyler Lockett nine one twenty eight, DK 18 00:00:56,520 --> 00:01:00,440 Speaker 1: Metcalm eight for twenty seven and my Keyhawker Game had 19 00:01:00,520 --> 00:01:03,000 Speaker 1: himself a day. He had two sacks with Jordan Brooks 20 00:01:03,080 --> 00:01:06,240 Speaker 1: leaves the day with nine tackles. Teriq Willin sets a 21 00:01:06,280 --> 00:01:09,640 Speaker 1: franchise Ricky record with another interception. On the other side, 22 00:01:09,640 --> 00:01:11,640 Speaker 1: it started off good for the Los Angeles Rounds and 23 00:01:11,720 --> 00:01:14,600 Speaker 1: they competed. Wolfer was fourteen of twenty six, one seventy 24 00:01:14,640 --> 00:01:17,840 Speaker 1: eight two interceptions running the ball. The Rounds were able 25 00:01:17,840 --> 00:01:19,959 Speaker 1: to put together one hundred and seventy one yards on 26 00:01:20,000 --> 00:01:21,560 Speaker 1: the ground, something that we still need to take a 27 00:01:21,560 --> 00:01:24,120 Speaker 1: look at. On third downs, the Hawks were five for ten, 28 00:01:24,400 --> 00:01:28,080 Speaker 1: the Rounds for four for twelve. Bobby Wagner had himself 29 00:01:28,120 --> 00:01:30,280 Speaker 1: a game too. He had an interception and a couple 30 00:01:30,319 --> 00:01:33,440 Speaker 1: of sacks. B Wags was everywhere, but it just wasn't 31 00:01:33,520 --> 00:01:35,400 Speaker 1: enough to get it done. Today. The Seahawks get it 32 00:01:35,400 --> 00:01:37,240 Speaker 1: done twenty seven to twenty three. When we come back, 33 00:01:37,240 --> 00:01:39,840 Speaker 1: We're gonna get interviews at the podium, gonna hear from 34 00:01:39,840 --> 00:01:41,760 Speaker 1: Pete Carroll, Jan Miller is gonna be in the locker 35 00:01:41,840 --> 00:01:44,080 Speaker 1: room with the guys, and also I'm going to get 36 00:01:44,120 --> 00:01:46,600 Speaker 1: analysis from the guys here. Seahawks get it done. All 37 00:01:46,640 --> 00:01:49,680 Speaker 1: that is next on the Seahawks Radio Network. Welcome back 38 00:01:49,680 --> 00:01:52,880 Speaker 1: to the Seahawk post game show. The Hawks go down 39 00:01:52,920 --> 00:01:55,640 Speaker 1: to Los Angeles and they're coming back with a victory. 40 00:01:55,720 --> 00:01:58,040 Speaker 1: They beat the Rams twenty seven to twenty three. And 41 00:01:58,080 --> 00:02:00,440 Speaker 1: now we are joined by the man who called all 42 00:02:00,480 --> 00:02:03,360 Speaker 1: the actions, Steve Rabel rays this was the moment we're 43 00:02:03,400 --> 00:02:06,360 Speaker 1: waiting for. Can Gino go down the field, put a 44 00:02:06,480 --> 00:02:09,760 Speaker 1: drive together and win, in my opinion, a must win 45 00:02:09,840 --> 00:02:13,520 Speaker 1: ball game. It was nice to see. It's. Yeah, we 46 00:02:13,520 --> 00:02:15,679 Speaker 1: don't want to say beforehand that it's a must win game, 47 00:02:15,720 --> 00:02:17,920 Speaker 1: but now that it's over an hour that we won, yes, 48 00:02:18,160 --> 00:02:20,839 Speaker 1: a must win game, and man, oh man, I mean 49 00:02:20,880 --> 00:02:24,080 Speaker 1: we're just exhausted up here in the booth. It was 50 00:02:24,440 --> 00:02:27,280 Speaker 1: such an exciting game coming down the stretch, you know, 51 00:02:27,680 --> 00:02:30,920 Speaker 1: just two heavyweights kind of out there battling and knowing 52 00:02:31,000 --> 00:02:33,760 Speaker 1: that neither of these teams are, you know, at their 53 00:02:33,800 --> 00:02:37,520 Speaker 1: full strength. Guys hurt all over the place. Other guys 54 00:02:37,560 --> 00:02:40,120 Speaker 1: have to step up and make plays. But man, when 55 00:02:40,160 --> 00:02:43,400 Speaker 1: it really counted, you got DK Medcalf under the goal post, 56 00:02:43,440 --> 00:02:46,600 Speaker 1: going against two defenders, one of them arguably one of 57 00:02:46,600 --> 00:02:49,240 Speaker 1: the best cornerbacks in the league, and he just snatches 58 00:02:49,280 --> 00:02:51,800 Speaker 1: that ball away from him for the winning six points. 59 00:02:51,880 --> 00:02:54,639 Speaker 1: I I just can't think of a better way. Well, 60 00:02:54,760 --> 00:02:56,560 Speaker 1: yes I could. If we'd won thirty five nothing, that 61 00:02:56,639 --> 00:02:59,320 Speaker 1: had been a lot easier on everybody. Raves, I look 62 00:02:59,320 --> 00:03:01,480 Speaker 1: at Gino's smith twenty eight at thirty nine three to 63 00:03:01,639 --> 00:03:05,000 Speaker 1: sixty seven, which was a career high three touchdowns. He 64 00:03:05,080 --> 00:03:07,120 Speaker 1: did his thing, But also both of our receivers really 65 00:03:07,120 --> 00:03:10,239 Speaker 1: showed up today. Raves, Tyler Locket nine one twenty eight 66 00:03:10,240 --> 00:03:12,880 Speaker 1: for one touchdown, DK Metcalf eight for one twenty seven, 67 00:03:12,919 --> 00:03:16,680 Speaker 1: one touchdown in the game winning touchdown. This pass game 68 00:03:16,840 --> 00:03:18,720 Speaker 1: looks good, but running the ball, there's gonna be some 69 00:03:18,720 --> 00:03:21,600 Speaker 1: issues there. Ken Walker's out, DJ Dallas is banged up. 70 00:03:22,080 --> 00:03:24,839 Speaker 1: Tony Jones Junior got seven carries. What are you seeing 71 00:03:24,880 --> 00:03:26,480 Speaker 1: out of this run game? And what will we do 72 00:03:26,520 --> 00:03:29,480 Speaker 1: at all these injuries? Well, that's a great question. I 73 00:03:29,480 --> 00:03:32,440 Speaker 1: can guarantee you that midway through the second quarter and 74 00:03:32,560 --> 00:03:35,320 Speaker 1: into the halftime that John Schneider was on his phone 75 00:03:35,320 --> 00:03:38,640 Speaker 1: already with his guys back in Seattle, all of his scouts, 76 00:03:38,680 --> 00:03:41,560 Speaker 1: they're all talking about it. You know. To my way 77 00:03:41,600 --> 00:03:44,280 Speaker 1: of thinking, as I look at my breakdown, they only 78 00:03:44,320 --> 00:03:46,480 Speaker 1: have one guy who's on the practice squad. That's Darwin 79 00:03:46,560 --> 00:03:49,839 Speaker 1: Thompson as a running back. I'm guaranteeing here. We talked 80 00:03:49,840 --> 00:03:52,480 Speaker 1: about it during the broadcast. Tony Jones Junior did not 81 00:03:52,600 --> 00:03:56,240 Speaker 1: see any action with the starters. He was basically running 82 00:03:56,280 --> 00:03:59,200 Speaker 1: the Rams offense this week, and yet he came in 83 00:03:59,480 --> 00:04:01,840 Speaker 1: and he held down the ford and of course DJ 84 00:04:02,000 --> 00:04:04,280 Speaker 1: Dallas came back in and played hurt. That's what you 85 00:04:04,320 --> 00:04:06,960 Speaker 1: want out of your guys. I mean, his offensive lineman 86 00:04:06,960 --> 00:04:09,480 Speaker 1: will hug him up in the locker room and say, man, 87 00:04:10,040 --> 00:04:12,120 Speaker 1: that took some courage and you went out there and 88 00:04:12,160 --> 00:04:14,960 Speaker 1: did your best with a bad wheel. We appreciate it, 89 00:04:15,000 --> 00:04:17,440 Speaker 1: as does the entire team. But now they're gonna have 90 00:04:17,480 --> 00:04:19,239 Speaker 1: to take a look because there's a lot of guys 91 00:04:19,240 --> 00:04:22,160 Speaker 1: banged up right now for the Seahawks as well as 92 00:04:22,160 --> 00:04:25,640 Speaker 1: the Rams. Maybe that kind of even the game up 93 00:04:25,680 --> 00:04:28,560 Speaker 1: a little bit. But leave it to Gino to help 94 00:04:28,640 --> 00:04:31,640 Speaker 1: lead that drive and the place where the ball had 95 00:04:31,680 --> 00:04:35,320 Speaker 1: to go coming down the stretch. Tyler Lockett, DK Medcalf, 96 00:04:35,400 --> 00:04:38,160 Speaker 1: your two star receivers, your best players have to make 97 00:04:38,200 --> 00:04:41,120 Speaker 1: plays on the biggest stage. They sure did. Last one 98 00:04:41,160 --> 00:04:43,800 Speaker 1: I got for you, raves Terrek Woollen had himself a 99 00:04:43,880 --> 00:04:46,760 Speaker 1: day sets the franchise Ricky record. When it comes to interceptions, 100 00:04:46,920 --> 00:04:50,200 Speaker 1: he has three passes defended. Everyone's been talking about Sauce 101 00:04:50,320 --> 00:04:52,880 Speaker 1: Gardner being the defensive rookie of the year. I think 102 00:04:52,920 --> 00:04:56,840 Speaker 1: tariqas reinserted himself into that conversation. Oh, I think so. 103 00:04:56,920 --> 00:04:59,400 Speaker 1: He's just played so well, and you imagine, can you 104 00:04:59,400 --> 00:05:01,920 Speaker 1: take a look a just think back maybe the first game, 105 00:05:01,960 --> 00:05:05,080 Speaker 1: maybe preseason, where he'd get these you know, handsy kinds 106 00:05:05,080 --> 00:05:08,200 Speaker 1: of penalties called against him because he, you know, still 107 00:05:08,320 --> 00:05:11,479 Speaker 1: was kind of learning the job of a pro cornerback. 108 00:05:11,960 --> 00:05:14,560 Speaker 1: Now he looks like he's been there ten years. The 109 00:05:14,680 --> 00:05:17,599 Speaker 1: way he breaks on the ball, his ability to reach 110 00:05:17,680 --> 00:05:20,839 Speaker 1: that arm around and slap the ball away on that drive, 111 00:05:20,880 --> 00:05:24,120 Speaker 1: slapped it away from Chronic again, just shows you what 112 00:05:24,160 --> 00:05:27,000 Speaker 1: a terrific player he is. And he came up and 113 00:05:27,080 --> 00:05:29,040 Speaker 1: made some big tackles when they needed him to make 114 00:05:29,120 --> 00:05:31,320 Speaker 1: hits out there on the edge. This guy's a complete 115 00:05:31,320 --> 00:05:34,960 Speaker 1: football player and I hope he's with us for the 116 00:05:35,000 --> 00:05:37,839 Speaker 1: next quarter century. It's only right you got to call 117 00:05:37,880 --> 00:05:40,159 Speaker 1: a thrill. On the thirty year anniversary of Pete Gross 118 00:05:40,200 --> 00:05:43,320 Speaker 1: being inducted into the Ring of Honor Raves though we 119 00:05:43,400 --> 00:05:47,120 Speaker 1: appreciation has always made you get home safely. Bump, thank 120 00:05:47,160 --> 00:05:50,719 Speaker 1: you all right, Lots more to do when we get back, 121 00:05:50,760 --> 00:05:52,840 Speaker 1: a lot of interviews from Jim Muller players that they 122 00:05:52,839 --> 00:05:54,760 Speaker 1: step up to the podium. I'm also gonna get the 123 00:05:54,760 --> 00:05:57,320 Speaker 1: guys involved. We're gonna break down this win. The Seahawks 124 00:05:57,320 --> 00:06:04,600 Speaker 1: get it done. Twenty seven to twenty three. You are 125 00:06:04,640 --> 00:06:08,320 Speaker 1: listening to the Seahawks post game show, the Seahawks winning 126 00:06:08,360 --> 00:06:12,599 Speaker 1: down in Los Angeles twenty seven to twenty three. We 127 00:06:12,760 --> 00:06:15,919 Speaker 1: get the signature drive from Gino that we've been waiting 128 00:06:15,920 --> 00:06:18,599 Speaker 1: for it. He's had a couple opportunities, wasn't able to 129 00:06:18,600 --> 00:06:21,320 Speaker 1: get it done. We're watching this game, Fela as We're saying, like, look, 130 00:06:21,360 --> 00:06:23,760 Speaker 1: the Seahawks need this drive. You need to win this game. 131 00:06:24,040 --> 00:06:26,840 Speaker 1: But Gino also needs this for his own legacy legacy, 132 00:06:26,839 --> 00:06:30,000 Speaker 1: so we're happy that we saw that happen. The Rams 133 00:06:30,000 --> 00:06:31,960 Speaker 1: were still able to rush for one hundred and seventy 134 00:06:31,960 --> 00:06:34,880 Speaker 1: one yards on the ground, but when it was time 135 00:06:34,920 --> 00:06:37,920 Speaker 1: to win, the Seahawks stepped up big. Ray. Your first 136 00:06:37,960 --> 00:06:40,640 Speaker 1: reaction from this win over the Rams, well, it was 137 00:06:40,680 --> 00:06:44,359 Speaker 1: just really good to see Um Gino, you know, you know, 138 00:06:44,560 --> 00:06:47,400 Speaker 1: squashed that narrative at least for today, you know, and 139 00:06:47,400 --> 00:06:50,120 Speaker 1: and have a nice game winning drive. Uh, you know, 140 00:06:50,200 --> 00:06:52,040 Speaker 1: even you know, I was looking at the stats about 141 00:06:52,040 --> 00:06:53,960 Speaker 1: the running game, like most of that was in fly 142 00:06:54,120 --> 00:06:56,800 Speaker 1: sweeps and and uh the quarterback keeping the keeping the 143 00:06:56,839 --> 00:06:58,880 Speaker 1: ball on the on the boot boot game. Other than that, 144 00:06:58,920 --> 00:07:01,480 Speaker 1: they had about seventy four yards you know, rushing from 145 00:07:01,480 --> 00:07:03,680 Speaker 1: the from the running back. So still some things to 146 00:07:03,760 --> 00:07:05,680 Speaker 1: clean up, but it's also good to you know, down 147 00:07:05,680 --> 00:07:07,680 Speaker 1: the stretch like this is kind of like the NC 148 00:07:07,760 --> 00:07:10,280 Speaker 1: DOUBLEA tournaments five in advance, and that's what they did today. 149 00:07:10,680 --> 00:07:13,640 Speaker 1: Be while we had two receivers go over a buck twenty, 150 00:07:13,960 --> 00:07:16,920 Speaker 1: DK was targeted eight times, eight catches, one twenty seven. 151 00:07:17,000 --> 00:07:19,960 Speaker 1: Tyler was targeted twelve times, nine catches, one hundred twenty 152 00:07:19,960 --> 00:07:23,560 Speaker 1: eight one touchdown. Probably, I'm pretty sure it's the biggest 153 00:07:23,600 --> 00:07:26,200 Speaker 1: game of the year we've had from both of these guys. Yeah, 154 00:07:26,280 --> 00:07:28,960 Speaker 1: and you know, DKs fired up because you know, you 155 00:07:29,000 --> 00:07:31,160 Speaker 1: saw him in Jalen Ramsey all game going back and 156 00:07:31,200 --> 00:07:34,160 Speaker 1: forth at it and h It's just huge for them 157 00:07:34,240 --> 00:07:36,920 Speaker 1: and the consistency they had and the efficiency of that. 158 00:07:36,960 --> 00:07:39,000 Speaker 1: I mean eight eight catches on eight targets. You can't 159 00:07:39,040 --> 00:07:41,240 Speaker 1: get better than that, right, he did everything that came 160 00:07:41,320 --> 00:07:43,840 Speaker 1: his way. He made the play and Lockett just continues 161 00:07:43,880 --> 00:07:47,400 Speaker 1: to improve or to just starve for this team. And um, 162 00:07:47,560 --> 00:07:49,640 Speaker 1: what was the record? He set five touchdowns in a row. 163 00:07:49,680 --> 00:07:51,600 Speaker 1: I think it's a franchise record. Congrats to him on 164 00:07:51,680 --> 00:07:53,880 Speaker 1: continuing that. So well done by those guys. Can't asper 165 00:07:53,960 --> 00:07:57,040 Speaker 1: anything more. Let's go to the running backs. Now we've 166 00:07:57,040 --> 00:07:59,200 Speaker 1: seen we saw some injuries. Ken of Walker at three 167 00:07:59,240 --> 00:08:02,160 Speaker 1: for thirty six and thirty before he was taken to 168 00:08:02,200 --> 00:08:04,040 Speaker 1: the locker room. DJ Dallas is banged up a bit 169 00:08:04,080 --> 00:08:06,960 Speaker 1: ten for thirty seven, but Tony Jones Junior had seven 170 00:08:07,000 --> 00:08:10,160 Speaker 1: from fourteen one or two. I wouldn't say big runs, 171 00:08:10,160 --> 00:08:12,360 Speaker 1: but important runs. How hard is it for a guy 172 00:08:12,400 --> 00:08:15,200 Speaker 1: like Tony Jones Junior, who Raves mentioned was running the 173 00:08:15,320 --> 00:08:18,120 Speaker 1: Rams plays this week. I had practice. He wasn't even 174 00:08:18,120 --> 00:08:20,720 Speaker 1: touching this offense. Yeah, it's difficult to step in, you know, 175 00:08:20,720 --> 00:08:22,360 Speaker 1: when you haven't been getting the reps and you know 176 00:08:22,400 --> 00:08:24,040 Speaker 1: you've been in all the meetings, so you've got a 177 00:08:24,040 --> 00:08:26,760 Speaker 1: little bit of film study going on. But certainly tough 178 00:08:26,800 --> 00:08:30,200 Speaker 1: to be ready in you know to execute in that position. 179 00:08:30,240 --> 00:08:32,280 Speaker 1: But I mean, this is the NFL, this is what 180 00:08:32,320 --> 00:08:34,440 Speaker 1: it's all about. You know, your your job is to 181 00:08:34,520 --> 00:08:36,800 Speaker 1: be ready. Your job is prepared as if you're going 182 00:08:36,880 --> 00:08:39,640 Speaker 1: to be a starter, regardless of where you are on 183 00:08:39,679 --> 00:08:42,160 Speaker 1: the JEB chart. And so you know, I give huge 184 00:08:42,240 --> 00:08:45,840 Speaker 1: kudos to you know, Tony Jones and the way that 185 00:08:45,880 --> 00:08:48,480 Speaker 1: he stepped up and came in and also with Dallas 186 00:08:48,480 --> 00:08:50,319 Speaker 1: Man and really impressive for him to come back from 187 00:08:50,320 --> 00:08:52,520 Speaker 1: his injury and get it out helped his team get 188 00:08:52,520 --> 00:08:57,480 Speaker 1: a win today. Tariq willin more Yer had three passes, 189 00:08:57,480 --> 00:09:00,760 Speaker 1: defended one interception. What if seen out of him? And 190 00:09:00,760 --> 00:09:02,360 Speaker 1: then let me know what you've been scribbling down on 191 00:09:02,400 --> 00:09:05,439 Speaker 1: that pad over there. Well, I'm working on my little 192 00:09:05,840 --> 00:09:09,319 Speaker 1: playoff stuff here because I think we can get in 193 00:09:09,360 --> 00:09:11,200 Speaker 1: at eight and nine just the way things are looking 194 00:09:11,200 --> 00:09:15,840 Speaker 1: at We can talk about that later. First of all, 195 00:09:15,920 --> 00:09:19,400 Speaker 1: Gino smith Man for our running game to go away 196 00:09:19,520 --> 00:09:22,239 Speaker 1: and say you got we gotta put everything on your shoulders. 197 00:09:22,320 --> 00:09:24,319 Speaker 1: And you know, our protection at time was pretty good. 198 00:09:24,360 --> 00:09:27,520 Speaker 1: At times it wasn't great. Great game if he doesn't 199 00:09:27,559 --> 00:09:31,280 Speaker 1: have that whatever phantom interception that they gave Bobby Wagner 200 00:09:31,280 --> 00:09:34,120 Speaker 1: I still understand how they don't overrule that thing. His 201 00:09:34,240 --> 00:09:36,680 Speaker 1: quarterback rating would have been one twenty seven instead of 202 00:09:36,720 --> 00:09:40,360 Speaker 1: one sixteen today, but again over seventy percent completions, again 203 00:09:40,400 --> 00:09:43,599 Speaker 1: three touchdowns. We talked about the game winner. You know, 204 00:09:43,920 --> 00:09:46,920 Speaker 1: I'm obviously happy for twelves and the Seahawks get to 205 00:09:46,960 --> 00:09:48,760 Speaker 1: the playoffs, but you're right, this is a good one 206 00:09:48,800 --> 00:09:52,400 Speaker 1: for Gino. And while this game was kind of ugly, 207 00:09:52,559 --> 00:09:54,800 Speaker 1: I man, we got stuff, we got clean up on defense. 208 00:09:54,880 --> 00:09:59,680 Speaker 1: We still have containment issues and understanding play actions and bootlegs. 209 00:10:00,000 --> 00:10:01,920 Speaker 1: But this kind of game that spearhead you when you 210 00:10:01,960 --> 00:10:05,520 Speaker 1: win a game ugly where everybody thinks you should have 211 00:10:05,520 --> 00:10:07,679 Speaker 1: blown them out, and then you had to come back 212 00:10:07,760 --> 00:10:10,440 Speaker 1: on the road and still win it. Yeah, it just 213 00:10:10,760 --> 00:10:13,000 Speaker 1: kind of takes the pressure off you. A big game 214 00:10:13,040 --> 00:10:16,080 Speaker 1: at home obviously next week in Carolina, but this was 215 00:10:16,120 --> 00:10:19,400 Speaker 1: a huge game for us to slidify being a playoff contender. 216 00:10:19,679 --> 00:10:22,480 Speaker 1: You talk about how impressive Geno Smith was. Geno Smith 217 00:10:22,520 --> 00:10:25,280 Speaker 1: has multiple touchdown passes in six straight games. That's the 218 00:10:25,320 --> 00:10:27,960 Speaker 1: longest shrink of his career and the longest in the NFL. 219 00:10:28,040 --> 00:10:29,920 Speaker 1: This season, he has ten games with at least two 220 00:10:29,920 --> 00:10:34,240 Speaker 1: touchdown passes. That's tops in the league. Gino also passed 221 00:10:34,320 --> 00:10:36,800 Speaker 1: Intoga Wallas for eighth place on Seattle's all time was 222 00:10:36,840 --> 00:10:40,040 Speaker 1: for passing, touchdown, passing yards, and completion. One more staff 223 00:10:40,080 --> 00:10:42,920 Speaker 1: for you. Gino also set career highs in pass yards 224 00:10:42,920 --> 00:10:45,080 Speaker 1: in a game three hundred and sixty seven and pass 225 00:10:45,200 --> 00:10:49,160 Speaker 1: yards in a season three thousand, one hundred and sixty nine. 226 00:10:49,200 --> 00:10:52,080 Speaker 1: The man is playing his best football of his career 227 00:10:52,080 --> 00:10:55,079 Speaker 1: at thirty two. There's no question. I forget you actually 228 00:10:55,080 --> 00:10:58,040 Speaker 1: asked me about Wooln. I didn't even answer it because 229 00:10:58,040 --> 00:11:01,120 Speaker 1: I forgot the question. Look, can't really throw his way. 230 00:11:01,640 --> 00:11:03,760 Speaker 1: They threw his way maybe four or five times. He 231 00:11:03,840 --> 00:11:06,679 Speaker 1: came up with an interception, three knockdowns on that and 232 00:11:06,800 --> 00:11:09,760 Speaker 1: he's just got a feel for the game. That last 233 00:11:09,880 --> 00:11:12,160 Speaker 1: knockdown he had at the end of the game that 234 00:11:12,440 --> 00:11:14,880 Speaker 1: a lot of guys would interfere by putting their hammand 235 00:11:14,960 --> 00:11:16,839 Speaker 1: on the guy's back real quick, and he didn't do it. 236 00:11:16,920 --> 00:11:19,400 Speaker 1: Let's get back to that. We've got Pete at the podium. Um, 237 00:11:20,520 --> 00:11:22,640 Speaker 1: they give them a lot of credit. They played good 238 00:11:22,640 --> 00:11:25,320 Speaker 1: there in the whole way. It did a nice job. Um. 239 00:11:25,559 --> 00:11:27,160 Speaker 1: I mean, I've been talking about Sean all week. But 240 00:11:27,640 --> 00:11:29,920 Speaker 1: he did it again. He put together a great plan 241 00:11:30,000 --> 00:11:34,720 Speaker 1: and and um it was hard. Um, some really exciting 242 00:11:34,760 --> 00:11:36,880 Speaker 1: things happened, you know, on our side, the way we finished, 243 00:11:37,040 --> 00:11:40,600 Speaker 1: and on both sides of the ball, particularly to Ceg 244 00:11:40,720 --> 00:11:41,840 Speaker 1: don't have the chance to go down to take the 245 00:11:41,840 --> 00:11:44,280 Speaker 1: team down the field and do it and just execute 246 00:11:44,280 --> 00:11:48,080 Speaker 1: his tail off and have a huge game again numbers wise. Um, 247 00:11:48,200 --> 00:11:50,160 Speaker 1: it's just what he's doing. This is the season that 248 00:11:50,200 --> 00:11:53,040 Speaker 1: he's playing, and we're lucky to have him. M defense 249 00:11:53,080 --> 00:11:55,480 Speaker 1: getting out there in the last time to go, you know, 250 00:11:55,520 --> 00:11:57,600 Speaker 1: win a football game and get after him. If they 251 00:11:57,640 --> 00:12:00,280 Speaker 1: did was it was just a great statement about nishing 252 00:12:00,320 --> 00:12:02,920 Speaker 1: the ball game. So really fared up about that. Um, 253 00:12:03,320 --> 00:12:06,360 Speaker 1: d K and Tyler had huge games. Both those guys 254 00:12:06,360 --> 00:12:10,000 Speaker 1: were great. Uh. Noah was terrific today too, and support 255 00:12:10,000 --> 00:12:15,440 Speaker 1: as well. I was really praising DJ Dallas for fighting 256 00:12:15,480 --> 00:12:18,360 Speaker 1: through being banged up and finishing for us. Tony did 257 00:12:18,360 --> 00:12:21,960 Speaker 1: a nice job coming in for us, and unfortunately Kenny 258 00:12:21,960 --> 00:12:24,400 Speaker 1: just you know, he jammed his ankle and he just 259 00:12:24,400 --> 00:12:26,240 Speaker 1: couldn't get back out there and get going again. So 260 00:12:26,480 --> 00:12:28,160 Speaker 1: he showed that he was ready to go and all, 261 00:12:28,160 --> 00:12:29,680 Speaker 1: but he just couldn't get back ups. We'll have to 262 00:12:29,679 --> 00:12:33,160 Speaker 1: see what that meanings. I think too, that the other 263 00:12:33,160 --> 00:12:36,640 Speaker 1: thing that showed up in crucial situations, we passed protected 264 00:12:36,720 --> 00:12:38,920 Speaker 1: really well and it gave Gino a chance to stay 265 00:12:38,920 --> 00:12:40,679 Speaker 1: in the pocket. He's stepping up and he's seeing what 266 00:12:40,760 --> 00:12:42,600 Speaker 1: he needs to see him made some great throws and 267 00:12:42,679 --> 00:12:44,920 Speaker 1: great conversions. We did really well on third down today 268 00:12:45,520 --> 00:12:47,840 Speaker 1: on the offensive side. So um, just a lot of 269 00:12:47,840 --> 00:12:51,480 Speaker 1: really good positive stuff. I thought that the coaches on 270 00:12:51,360 --> 00:12:54,400 Speaker 1: the on the defensive side did probably as much adjusting 271 00:12:54,400 --> 00:12:56,880 Speaker 1: in this game as we've done, and did some great 272 00:12:56,880 --> 00:13:00,160 Speaker 1: stuff to make this game plan come together. After a 273 00:13:00,160 --> 00:13:02,320 Speaker 1: couple of times they had the football and really really 274 00:13:02,360 --> 00:13:04,360 Speaker 1: pulled it together and in great fashion, and the guys 275 00:13:04,360 --> 00:13:07,160 Speaker 1: played like crazy. Tarik gets a pick. I understand that 276 00:13:07,160 --> 00:13:15,440 Speaker 1: that's a that gives him, you know, a franchise record. Um. Um, 277 00:13:16,000 --> 00:13:18,800 Speaker 1: he's having a great season. And uh he was beat 278 00:13:18,840 --> 00:13:21,080 Speaker 1: a couple of times today and came back out of 279 00:13:21,120 --> 00:13:23,160 Speaker 1: it and made some plays that were really fortunate. But 280 00:13:24,240 --> 00:13:28,080 Speaker 1: you gotta be a little lucky sometimes too. Um. I 281 00:13:28,080 --> 00:13:29,960 Speaker 1: don't know everything else. Was just gonna ask me questions 282 00:13:29,960 --> 00:13:31,640 Speaker 1: about it, but I'm really fired up about this win 283 00:13:31,679 --> 00:13:34,040 Speaker 1: and getting and getting back on a plane together and 284 00:13:34,240 --> 00:13:37,840 Speaker 1: has some fun going back home. Sometimes the play he 285 00:13:37,880 --> 00:13:40,480 Speaker 1: made where he recovers and catches out basket away, I mean, 286 00:13:40,559 --> 00:13:42,880 Speaker 1: just does that a show? Yeah? I did, sis. It 287 00:13:42,880 --> 00:13:44,960 Speaker 1: shows you again that you know he's he's got some 288 00:13:45,080 --> 00:13:47,440 Speaker 1: special to him to make a couple of plays that 289 00:13:47,480 --> 00:13:51,040 Speaker 1: he made. The pick was great. Um, but the knuckle 290 00:13:51,040 --> 00:13:53,880 Speaker 1: head get out of position a couple of times on 291 00:13:53,920 --> 00:13:55,920 Speaker 1: stuff and then uh, but it was able to pull 292 00:13:55,920 --> 00:13:57,920 Speaker 1: it off. So that was happy for him. You gotta 293 00:13:57,920 --> 00:14:01,960 Speaker 1: get lucky. Sometimes he's a Bobby Back presented. But yeah, 294 00:14:02,080 --> 00:14:05,040 Speaker 1: let me do that for sure. Bobby played great today. 295 00:14:05,320 --> 00:14:08,160 Speaker 1: He uh you know, he was a factor in a 296 00:14:08,240 --> 00:14:12,120 Speaker 1: running game. Uh, he had two sacks today. He gets 297 00:14:12,120 --> 00:14:14,400 Speaker 1: a pick on a play that I was still arguing about. 298 00:14:14,640 --> 00:14:16,040 Speaker 1: And I can't wait to see him so I can 299 00:14:16,120 --> 00:14:17,720 Speaker 1: argue to him, to him tell me he didn't catch it. 300 00:14:17,720 --> 00:14:20,480 Speaker 1: He's gonna tell me he did. Um. I was really 301 00:14:21,320 --> 00:14:24,160 Speaker 1: I'm really proud to tell you he's been a great 302 00:14:24,160 --> 00:14:27,520 Speaker 1: player in our program for all those years. He'll always be, 303 00:14:27,960 --> 00:14:30,480 Speaker 1: you know, one of our guys. And and but today 304 00:14:30,720 --> 00:14:33,880 Speaker 1: to rise up like that and and to play like that, Um, 305 00:14:33,920 --> 00:14:36,480 Speaker 1: it's something he's gonna remember, and it was it was notable, 306 00:14:36,560 --> 00:14:39,600 Speaker 1: and so what else is he gonna do. Of course 307 00:14:39,600 --> 00:14:42,080 Speaker 1: he's gonna do something like that. So UM hants off 308 00:14:42,120 --> 00:14:45,680 Speaker 1: to him. He seems to eat getting better. It's not 309 00:14:45,840 --> 00:14:53,040 Speaker 1: a lot of get signatures like that. Think yeah, And honestly, 310 00:14:53,120 --> 00:14:55,320 Speaker 1: I've been aware that you know, he needs that. You 311 00:14:55,360 --> 00:14:57,280 Speaker 1: know he needs one of those chances to do it. 312 00:14:57,280 --> 00:15:00,160 Speaker 1: It just hasn't worked out quite right. But uh, he 313 00:15:00,200 --> 00:15:02,320 Speaker 1: was incredible down the stretch. I wish you guys could 314 00:15:02,360 --> 00:15:05,200 Speaker 1: see how poisedy is, how clear he is to communicate with, 315 00:15:05,920 --> 00:15:08,600 Speaker 1: how calm he is in the moments of the big 316 00:15:08,640 --> 00:15:11,520 Speaker 1: moments and all he's just on it. And that's he 317 00:15:11,600 --> 00:15:13,920 Speaker 1: has to be to be performing the way he's performing 318 00:15:13,960 --> 00:15:17,160 Speaker 1: so consistently for so long now. And it's it's really 319 00:15:17,200 --> 00:15:21,320 Speaker 1: it's a remarkable, um, you know statement that he's making 320 00:15:21,360 --> 00:15:23,560 Speaker 1: about who he is and what he's all about. And uh, 321 00:15:23,800 --> 00:15:28,200 Speaker 1: just proud of heck of. I just just good. Put 322 00:15:28,200 --> 00:15:29,640 Speaker 1: in your back pocket. Were gonna need something, We're gonna 323 00:15:29,680 --> 00:15:31,480 Speaker 1: ed down the stretcher and and we're gonna need more 324 00:15:31,520 --> 00:15:34,200 Speaker 1: games like that, and uh, it's just good, just it's 325 00:15:34,200 --> 00:15:38,800 Speaker 1: just a good thing after us. Yeah, Yeah, Jenna had 326 00:15:38,800 --> 00:15:41,760 Speaker 1: a couple today, you know, kind of halfway coming home 327 00:15:41,800 --> 00:15:44,480 Speaker 1: back in La you know, he Trojan and all that stuff. 328 00:15:44,720 --> 00:15:47,360 Speaker 1: That was a big day for him to uh um 329 00:15:47,640 --> 00:15:50,360 Speaker 1: and to rise up. You know, those things run deep, 330 00:15:50,400 --> 00:15:52,920 Speaker 1: you know, those those connections run deep, and and it 331 00:15:53,080 --> 00:15:55,600 Speaker 1: sometimes just touches guys in a in a special way. 332 00:15:55,600 --> 00:15:57,080 Speaker 1: I think, you know, I don't know. If I can't 333 00:15:57,080 --> 00:16:00,040 Speaker 1: speak for Bobby, he'll tell you, but uh today he 334 00:16:00,200 --> 00:16:02,280 Speaker 1: he was, he was on it. Channel was on it. 335 00:16:02,640 --> 00:16:04,080 Speaker 1: A shout out to one of our guys in our 336 00:16:04,120 --> 00:16:07,080 Speaker 1: security guys, David Love, who'd spen twenty six years in 337 00:16:07,080 --> 00:16:09,760 Speaker 1: the LA BD down here and worked for the ramps 338 00:16:09,760 --> 00:16:12,560 Speaker 1: for a few years, that those kinds of connections they 339 00:16:12,640 --> 00:16:14,720 Speaker 1: run deep and they mean a lot. And to me 340 00:16:14,800 --> 00:16:17,400 Speaker 1: coming back to LA and Plan, it's it's it's it's 341 00:16:17,400 --> 00:16:20,280 Speaker 1: a big deal. And so um excited that we gotta 342 00:16:20,320 --> 00:16:22,840 Speaker 1: win and getting were getting out of here. Really did 343 00:16:22,960 --> 00:16:28,120 Speaker 1: get on. Um. I can't tell you because it's not 344 00:16:28,120 --> 00:16:30,480 Speaker 1: just ankle sprain jammed it. So I'm not not quite 345 00:16:30,480 --> 00:16:34,880 Speaker 1: sure what to tell you right now. We don't know. Yeah, 346 00:16:35,440 --> 00:16:38,240 Speaker 1: he did a bursa, meaning that he got it. He's 347 00:16:38,280 --> 00:16:39,720 Speaker 1: got some swallow in front of his knee when he 348 00:16:39,800 --> 00:16:42,080 Speaker 1: hit the ground, and so it's not a knee injury 349 00:16:42,080 --> 00:16:44,480 Speaker 1: as much as it's he got he got smacked and 350 00:16:45,120 --> 00:16:47,320 Speaker 1: it boomed up on him a little bit. So we'll 351 00:16:47,320 --> 00:16:51,680 Speaker 1: see what happens. Walker goes on cons injured. You have 352 00:16:51,800 --> 00:16:54,520 Speaker 1: to tell Smith, here we go the ri on. He 353 00:16:54,680 --> 00:16:56,720 Speaker 1: just was a natural hero, honestly, No, no, I went 354 00:16:56,760 --> 00:17:00,560 Speaker 1: the belour. We went more belour, you know, and I 355 00:17:00,640 --> 00:17:02,400 Speaker 1: got Nick ready to go. He was repped up and 356 00:17:02,600 --> 00:17:05,160 Speaker 1: he was getting in his two point stance and getting 357 00:17:05,160 --> 00:17:06,520 Speaker 1: ready to you know, get in there. And if we 358 00:17:06,600 --> 00:17:11,600 Speaker 1: needed him, you mentioned, you know, what does this tell y'all? 359 00:17:11,800 --> 00:17:14,440 Speaker 1: You know, I'm not saying, Gine. We needed to see 360 00:17:14,480 --> 00:17:15,800 Speaker 1: well and you see him do it, you know, and 361 00:17:15,960 --> 00:17:18,679 Speaker 1: have a chance to make a heroic finish like that. 362 00:17:18,680 --> 00:17:20,840 Speaker 1: It's what these guys do when they're great. And he 363 00:17:20,880 --> 00:17:22,760 Speaker 1: did one today. That's that's one for the you know 364 00:17:22,800 --> 00:17:25,239 Speaker 1: for it's an all time comeback drive and he did 365 00:17:25,240 --> 00:17:28,760 Speaker 1: it perfectly. I like condition and you guys came in earlier. 366 00:17:29,080 --> 00:17:33,199 Speaker 1: It just charger that you can kind of hand for 367 00:17:33,280 --> 00:17:37,199 Speaker 1: these times. Yeah, I can't deny that. Yeah, I like 368 00:17:37,280 --> 00:17:39,040 Speaker 1: like coming back, there's so many friends and so many 369 00:17:39,040 --> 00:17:40,760 Speaker 1: people that we were connected with for all those years. 370 00:17:40,760 --> 00:17:43,280 Speaker 1: And I mean it seems like all the people work 371 00:17:43,280 --> 00:17:45,520 Speaker 1: in the stadium and there's just so many deep connections. 372 00:17:45,520 --> 00:17:47,280 Speaker 1: It's just it just makes it fun, you know. It's 373 00:17:47,320 --> 00:17:49,280 Speaker 1: it's uh, you know, it's like I've always said, you know, 374 00:17:49,400 --> 00:17:51,280 Speaker 1: I love playing against people that I that I really like, 375 00:17:51,440 --> 00:17:54,080 Speaker 1: you know, and and and uh so coming here is 376 00:17:54,119 --> 00:17:57,040 Speaker 1: that kind of a connection. You know, it doesn't change anything, 377 00:17:57,080 --> 00:18:00,159 Speaker 1: but it was, it was, it was. It is a 378 00:18:00,160 --> 00:18:06,840 Speaker 1: good win to day to Decam's ramsey all over. I 379 00:18:06,840 --> 00:18:08,359 Speaker 1: had not really seen it well, I mean I just 380 00:18:08,520 --> 00:18:10,240 Speaker 1: was in a blur to me. I can't tell you 381 00:18:10,320 --> 00:18:12,360 Speaker 1: what happened, but I know it was really small little 382 00:18:12,400 --> 00:18:13,879 Speaker 1: window and he ripped the ball out of him and 383 00:18:13,920 --> 00:18:15,840 Speaker 1: he came to and hung on to it and finished it. 384 00:18:15,880 --> 00:18:17,600 Speaker 1: I think that was a good matchup. Today. Those guys 385 00:18:17,640 --> 00:18:20,080 Speaker 1: went out at some and uh, um, it's fun to 386 00:18:20,119 --> 00:18:28,000 Speaker 1: watch that. Um. The ball was never secure, so when 387 00:18:29,400 --> 00:18:32,080 Speaker 1: we we we catched the ball and hit the ground 388 00:18:32,840 --> 00:18:34,840 Speaker 1: and then Bobby works his way to get the ball out. 389 00:18:35,040 --> 00:18:37,439 Speaker 1: I mean, that's we're going crazy that you know, it's 390 00:18:37,440 --> 00:18:39,720 Speaker 1: a catch and he's down on the initial contact. But 391 00:18:40,080 --> 00:18:41,840 Speaker 1: the officials did a great job, I think, and I 392 00:18:41,920 --> 00:18:43,280 Speaker 1: think the ball was moving a little bit. Is that 393 00:18:43,280 --> 00:18:45,560 Speaker 1: what you saw. I never did see the replay, so 394 00:18:45,640 --> 00:18:47,800 Speaker 1: I of that. But they said the ball was moving 395 00:18:47,800 --> 00:18:49,760 Speaker 1: so that they made the right call. And uh, but 396 00:18:49,840 --> 00:18:52,040 Speaker 1: it was definitely when you contest, you know, you're fighting 397 00:18:52,080 --> 00:18:54,400 Speaker 1: your tail off to get that call back because cash 398 00:18:54,440 --> 00:18:57,520 Speaker 1: boomed down, you know. And but if the ball was moving, 399 00:18:57,520 --> 00:18:59,760 Speaker 1: then the ball was moving, so well, you know, good 400 00:18:59,800 --> 00:19:03,680 Speaker 1: job talking about the officials. J he loved the game. 401 00:19:03,800 --> 00:19:05,120 Speaker 1: I don't want to even noticed that because I don't 402 00:19:05,119 --> 00:19:07,640 Speaker 1: know how many times I've done that. Really good job 403 00:19:07,680 --> 00:19:11,280 Speaker 1: by the officials. DJ Dallas He got back up for 404 00:19:11,280 --> 00:19:15,560 Speaker 1: a little bit. Yeah, um, yeah, you know what, I 405 00:19:15,600 --> 00:19:17,600 Speaker 1: don't know what that was. It was the ankle. I 406 00:19:17,600 --> 00:19:22,320 Speaker 1: don't know that says he said, this is okay, Yeah, 407 00:19:24,359 --> 00:19:26,720 Speaker 1: you mentioned the Tyler, you know, Tyler d. Caroler. But 408 00:19:26,760 --> 00:19:28,280 Speaker 1: for both of them to step up when he did 409 00:19:28,320 --> 00:19:30,320 Speaker 1: on the day where you're heard at running back and 410 00:19:30,320 --> 00:19:32,119 Speaker 1: maybe don't have the home Yeah yeah, I mean they 411 00:19:32,119 --> 00:19:35,880 Speaker 1: were they were monsters out there. Then they're they're doing 412 00:19:35,880 --> 00:19:38,119 Speaker 1: their own things, you know they do they it's just 413 00:19:38,280 --> 00:19:41,199 Speaker 1: classic Tyler catches, you know, over the middle, right at 414 00:19:41,240 --> 00:19:43,680 Speaker 1: the sticks, making the first downs, DK making the hard, 415 00:19:43,760 --> 00:19:46,440 Speaker 1: tough catches. He went out up top on them as well. 416 00:19:47,040 --> 00:19:49,040 Speaker 1: The physical play that he shows that he brings in 417 00:19:49,119 --> 00:19:50,439 Speaker 1: Tyler's kind of on the other end of the spectrum. 418 00:19:50,440 --> 00:19:52,720 Speaker 1: They were just ying and Yang, you know, in their styles, 419 00:19:52,800 --> 00:19:55,879 Speaker 1: and they're both marvelous players. Because he seemed to be 420 00:19:56,320 --> 00:19:59,920 Speaker 1: physical a run game confirmed with the lot that's kind 421 00:19:59,880 --> 00:20:02,119 Speaker 1: of well, he's tays to the second man, did you 422 00:20:02,119 --> 00:20:04,760 Speaker 1: see that from here? Yeah, they're battling there. You guys 423 00:20:04,760 --> 00:20:06,960 Speaker 1: are battling on both sides of them. They're battling. We're battling. 424 00:20:07,119 --> 00:20:09,440 Speaker 1: All of our guys were after it. Um, It's just 425 00:20:09,560 --> 00:20:12,080 Speaker 1: that's that's just the style we want to play with 426 00:20:12,280 --> 00:20:14,399 Speaker 1: they want to play. This is a very tough secondary. 427 00:20:14,520 --> 00:20:17,879 Speaker 1: They've done a fantastic job all year eliminating big plays 428 00:20:17,880 --> 00:20:19,600 Speaker 1: and stuff like that, and they have a lot of 429 00:20:19,600 --> 00:20:21,639 Speaker 1: pride and physical and tough and all that. It was 430 00:20:21,680 --> 00:20:23,640 Speaker 1: just it was set up to be a great matchup 431 00:20:23,680 --> 00:20:25,720 Speaker 1: and and uh, I can't wait to see the film. 432 00:20:25,760 --> 00:20:27,600 Speaker 1: I can't tell you all the highlights, but it was 433 00:20:27,640 --> 00:20:31,720 Speaker 1: pretty cool. What are you saying if anything to bother wi? Um, 434 00:20:31,720 --> 00:20:33,879 Speaker 1: I just gave some loves early on. I didn't get 435 00:20:33,880 --> 00:20:36,160 Speaker 1: a chance to see him afterwards. Um, I think I'm 436 00:20:36,160 --> 00:20:39,760 Speaker 1: gonna get chance to see him in a minute. Anything else, 437 00:20:40,480 --> 00:20:43,800 Speaker 1: Thank you for thank you? That was Pete Carroll victorious. 438 00:20:43,880 --> 00:20:45,880 Speaker 1: Pete Carroll man that Hawks get it done twenty seven 439 00:20:46,040 --> 00:20:48,520 Speaker 1: to twenty three. Hey want to see Blue Thunder and 440 00:20:48,560 --> 00:20:51,240 Speaker 1: the Seahawks dances perform up close or catch us live 441 00:20:51,280 --> 00:20:54,440 Speaker 1: in person. Lots more 445 00:21:01,240 --> 00:21:03,120 Speaker 1: to do when we get back. We got player interviews 446 00:21:03,160 --> 00:21:05,000 Speaker 1: as they step up to the podium. Analysis from these 447 00:21:05,040 --> 00:21:07,760 Speaker 1: guys here that's coming to next on the Seahawks Radio network. 448 00:21:07,880 --> 00:21:11,880 Speaker 1: Seahawks keep their playoffs hopes alive beating the Los Angeles 449 00:21:11,960 --> 00:21:16,120 Speaker 1: Rams twenty seven to twenty three and dramatic fashion. Man, 450 00:21:16,200 --> 00:21:19,440 Speaker 1: this was a game the very first drive trying to 451 00:21:19,480 --> 00:21:22,040 Speaker 1: fill with this game is gonna be like Rams go 452 00:21:22,119 --> 00:21:24,680 Speaker 1: ten play, seventy seven yards. We're like, okay, they're running 453 00:21:24,680 --> 00:21:26,240 Speaker 1: the football, they're doing what they want to do. Then 454 00:21:26,280 --> 00:21:28,680 Speaker 1: the Hawks respond and then from there it was back 455 00:21:28,680 --> 00:21:31,439 Speaker 1: and forth, who's gonna make the first and last mistake. 456 00:21:31,480 --> 00:21:34,280 Speaker 1: We saw mistakes on both sides. Geno Smith has a 457 00:21:34,359 --> 00:21:37,840 Speaker 1: fumble and an interception, Wolford over their throws two interceptions 458 00:21:37,880 --> 00:21:40,240 Speaker 1: of his own. It was one of those games to 459 00:21:40,280 --> 00:21:42,960 Speaker 1: where it was closer than what I thought it was 460 00:21:43,000 --> 00:21:47,040 Speaker 1: going to be. Paul Moyer and going into the game, 461 00:21:47,040 --> 00:21:50,200 Speaker 1: I thought it should be a blowout, but we know 462 00:21:50,240 --> 00:21:52,439 Speaker 1: how this game goes, and we know how playing the 463 00:21:52,520 --> 00:21:55,479 Speaker 1: Rams go. Sean mcvada is a great job of dialing 464 00:21:55,520 --> 00:21:58,240 Speaker 1: some stuff up that first drive, I'm thinking, okay, he's 465 00:21:58,280 --> 00:22:00,560 Speaker 1: got his first fifteen scripted. Want to see what that 466 00:22:00,560 --> 00:22:02,600 Speaker 1: second and third drive looks like. And it was a 467 00:22:02,600 --> 00:22:04,800 Speaker 1: lot of the same stuff. So you tip your hat 468 00:22:04,800 --> 00:22:07,359 Speaker 1: to Sean McVay. He's doing the most the most he 469 00:22:07,440 --> 00:22:10,000 Speaker 1: can with what he has. He was into it. I mean, 470 00:22:10,040 --> 00:22:13,560 Speaker 1: he clearly likes to compete against Pete in that situation. 471 00:22:13,600 --> 00:22:17,240 Speaker 1: You're right, it was a brilliant calls. There were the 472 00:22:17,280 --> 00:22:19,399 Speaker 1: reason why I say they're brilliant if they were working. 473 00:22:20,520 --> 00:22:24,080 Speaker 1: You know, my notes are man, we have got contain issues. 474 00:22:24,200 --> 00:22:28,159 Speaker 1: Two was we have recognition issues, and that means you 475 00:22:28,160 --> 00:22:32,400 Speaker 1: know again you immediately you see a formation, the play hits, 476 00:22:32,440 --> 00:22:35,480 Speaker 1: you recognize what it is and then you react to it. Now, 477 00:22:35,560 --> 00:22:37,719 Speaker 1: we just don't recognize things very well. I mean, they 478 00:22:37,800 --> 00:22:40,840 Speaker 1: ran that same boot a thousand times and fly sweeps 479 00:22:40,840 --> 00:22:43,159 Speaker 1: and we just really never adjusted to it. With that 480 00:22:43,200 --> 00:22:47,280 Speaker 1: being said, though, look great, we find ways to win, 481 00:22:47,520 --> 00:22:52,600 Speaker 1: right We've got seven wins now this year. I think 482 00:22:52,600 --> 00:22:54,920 Speaker 1: we're still going to get better because we are so young. 483 00:22:55,320 --> 00:22:57,560 Speaker 1: I just don't know how much better we're gonna get 484 00:22:57,600 --> 00:22:59,760 Speaker 1: with the young guys. It's just gonna take, I think, 485 00:22:59,760 --> 00:23:02,520 Speaker 1: an other season. We're just have to live and die 486 00:23:02,560 --> 00:23:06,119 Speaker 1: with some of their mistakes. Because wool makes an interception, 487 00:23:06,160 --> 00:23:09,639 Speaker 1: Woolan knocks down two passes, Wooln is really out of 488 00:23:10,480 --> 00:23:12,480 Speaker 1: out of position on a couple of them, but he's 489 00:23:12,520 --> 00:23:15,000 Speaker 1: so athletic he can make up for it. I just 490 00:23:15,040 --> 00:23:16,560 Speaker 1: think we're just gonna have to live with it right now. 491 00:23:16,800 --> 00:23:18,960 Speaker 1: Big Gray going into this game, um, I wanted to 492 00:23:18,960 --> 00:23:21,159 Speaker 1: look at that at that offensive line because they struggled 493 00:23:21,200 --> 00:23:23,120 Speaker 1: the past couple of weeks. Abe Lucas has his flu 494 00:23:23,200 --> 00:23:25,800 Speaker 1: game last week as a play against Max Crosby. M 495 00:23:25,840 --> 00:23:27,520 Speaker 1: What did you see out of this line? Where did 496 00:23:27,520 --> 00:23:29,320 Speaker 1: they get better? Where did they need to improve? Well? 497 00:23:29,359 --> 00:23:31,520 Speaker 1: I think, like Pete said, in those crucial situations, that 498 00:23:31,600 --> 00:23:33,920 Speaker 1: you did a really good job. All right, my bad, 499 00:23:33,920 --> 00:23:36,920 Speaker 1: big Gray. We got Deca at the podium. Now it 500 00:23:37,080 --> 00:23:39,800 Speaker 1: just takes it out last touchdown kind of how that 501 00:23:39,800 --> 00:23:42,600 Speaker 1: plane pulled him your I mean it was great and all, 502 00:23:42,680 --> 00:23:47,159 Speaker 1: but you know without Geno, Tyler, Keys, no, all of 503 00:23:47,160 --> 00:23:51,320 Speaker 1: our teammates, Um and Shane, No, none of that wouldn't 504 00:23:51,320 --> 00:23:53,600 Speaker 1: have happened. So just big shout out to the to 505 00:23:53,680 --> 00:23:57,760 Speaker 1: them for getting us down there. I think you guys 506 00:23:57,760 --> 00:23:59,280 Speaker 1: didn't already had a lot of faith in Geno, But 507 00:23:59,320 --> 00:24:00,800 Speaker 1: what did he show you at the end of the scam? 508 00:24:01,400 --> 00:24:03,280 Speaker 1: You know, the same thing you know I've been preaching, 509 00:24:03,440 --> 00:24:05,720 Speaker 1: you know since day one, and showing he's been showing 510 00:24:05,760 --> 00:24:08,000 Speaker 1: the same thing since day one, is pois you know, 511 00:24:08,040 --> 00:24:11,840 Speaker 1: a leader, Um, a great competitor, and you know whenever 512 00:24:11,920 --> 00:24:13,800 Speaker 1: we had the ball in two minutes and you know 513 00:24:13,840 --> 00:24:15,240 Speaker 1: the game's on the line, you know I got my 514 00:24:15,280 --> 00:24:19,000 Speaker 1: faith in him. Shane, you know everybody out there on offense, defense. Um, 515 00:24:19,000 --> 00:24:21,359 Speaker 1: you know, just I just trust in this team. You 516 00:24:21,359 --> 00:24:25,600 Speaker 1: know a lot you played with Bobby for a while, 517 00:24:26,000 --> 00:24:30,600 Speaker 1: was like, uh, it was fun, you know, just to 518 00:24:30,640 --> 00:24:32,520 Speaker 1: talk to him and knowing that he was on the 519 00:24:32,560 --> 00:24:34,280 Speaker 1: other side of the ball and knowing you know, the 520 00:24:34,400 --> 00:24:36,840 Speaker 1: early morning workouts and all the times that you know, 521 00:24:36,880 --> 00:24:39,200 Speaker 1: we got to spend with each other. Um, and then 522 00:24:39,240 --> 00:24:40,720 Speaker 1: just to go against him on the other side of 523 00:24:40,720 --> 00:24:42,760 Speaker 1: the ball. He's one, you know, hell of a linebacker, 524 00:24:43,000 --> 00:24:45,080 Speaker 1: a hell of a competitor, and you know, just great 525 00:24:45,119 --> 00:24:47,520 Speaker 1: to go against him. And you know he has all 526 00:24:47,520 --> 00:24:49,600 Speaker 1: my respect, you know coming into this game, but after 527 00:24:49,640 --> 00:24:52,320 Speaker 1: this game and playing him, he has, you know, much 528 00:24:52,359 --> 00:24:58,280 Speaker 1: more respect, you know for me. Played Pobbly and he 529 00:24:58,320 --> 00:25:00,119 Speaker 1: gets put up off the seting over Sat. But it's 530 00:25:00,160 --> 00:25:02,240 Speaker 1: people are kind of you do it differently, different styles. 531 00:25:02,240 --> 00:25:04,720 Speaker 1: But just would you take his game. I mean, Tyler 532 00:25:04,840 --> 00:25:07,600 Speaker 1: is tough, you know, and always just put the ball 533 00:25:07,680 --> 00:25:09,439 Speaker 1: you know in his precenter. He's gonna catch it and 534 00:25:09,480 --> 00:25:11,320 Speaker 1: he's gonna come down with it. And you know every 535 00:25:11,320 --> 00:25:13,679 Speaker 1: time in a big time moment, third down, you know, 536 00:25:13,840 --> 00:25:15,680 Speaker 1: just trusting him and you know he's gonna come out, 537 00:25:16,160 --> 00:25:18,439 Speaker 1: you know and complete the pass and get up and 538 00:25:18,440 --> 00:25:20,159 Speaker 1: throw up at the first down and keep going and 539 00:25:20,200 --> 00:25:22,080 Speaker 1: do it again. So I mean he's been you know, 540 00:25:22,119 --> 00:25:24,600 Speaker 1: amazing this whole year, ever since I got here. Just 541 00:25:24,720 --> 00:25:27,400 Speaker 1: a big big brother to me, a role model. Um, 542 00:25:27,440 --> 00:25:28,800 Speaker 1: and you know he just plays the game right with 543 00:25:29,400 --> 00:25:33,280 Speaker 1: but the challenge to the defense presented to use defense, 544 00:25:33,800 --> 00:25:36,119 Speaker 1: you know, they were somewhere completed still okay with the 545 00:25:36,160 --> 00:25:39,640 Speaker 1: strong strap. Uh, Like I said, Man, they throw out 546 00:25:39,640 --> 00:25:42,000 Speaker 1: a bunch of different coverages and uh, you know, make 547 00:25:42,040 --> 00:25:44,280 Speaker 1: you make you think and make the quarterback and the 548 00:25:44,320 --> 00:25:46,400 Speaker 1: old line, uh, you know, making sure they call out 549 00:25:46,400 --> 00:25:48,719 Speaker 1: the right reads and id the right person and then 550 00:25:48,760 --> 00:25:50,439 Speaker 1: you know, has to complete the right pass. And you 551 00:25:50,440 --> 00:25:53,000 Speaker 1: know he did that all day to day. You already 552 00:25:53,040 --> 00:26:01,040 Speaker 1: body say that having I mean, he may do it 553 00:26:01,040 --> 00:26:03,480 Speaker 1: again next week. So I mean he's been doing it 554 00:26:03,480 --> 00:26:05,800 Speaker 1: there since he got here. Whenever we put him in 555 00:26:05,800 --> 00:26:08,080 Speaker 1: and asked him to carry the load of of being 556 00:26:08,080 --> 00:26:10,520 Speaker 1: a leader and a quarterback, he's done nothing but you know, 557 00:26:10,560 --> 00:26:15,160 Speaker 1: exceed expectations. He's actually you're pretty physical in the second half, 558 00:26:15,200 --> 00:26:18,280 Speaker 1: particularly the running game. Uh, you and Jail were going 559 00:26:18,280 --> 00:26:20,080 Speaker 1: out a little bit he's kind of ramp up the 560 00:26:20,080 --> 00:26:22,760 Speaker 1: second half, which in terms of talking, no, that's football, 561 00:26:23,240 --> 00:26:26,560 Speaker 1: So I expect. I expect the physical game every week. 562 00:26:27,480 --> 00:26:29,159 Speaker 1: Guys played through different things all the time. But for 563 00:26:29,240 --> 00:26:31,800 Speaker 1: DJ to stay in that game and he was totally hurt, 564 00:26:32,720 --> 00:26:34,639 Speaker 1: I mean, he has a lot of balls, and you 565 00:26:34,640 --> 00:26:36,840 Speaker 1: know he has a lot of respect you know already 566 00:26:36,840 --> 00:26:38,800 Speaker 1: coming in and into this game, you know from our 567 00:26:38,800 --> 00:26:41,000 Speaker 1: peers and from me. But you know, just for him 568 00:26:41,040 --> 00:26:43,040 Speaker 1: to battle through injuries, you know, lant through the locker 569 00:26:43,119 --> 00:26:45,520 Speaker 1: room and then come back out there, I mean finish 570 00:26:45,560 --> 00:26:48,240 Speaker 1: the game just shows how much of a competitor he 571 00:26:48,280 --> 00:26:52,960 Speaker 1: is and how much he loves the game. Everything else 572 00:26:55,320 --> 00:26:57,480 Speaker 1: all right, That was DK. Metcalf had a huge game. 573 00:26:57,560 --> 00:26:59,719 Speaker 1: First thing he did was pointing everybody else out right, 574 00:26:59,760 --> 00:27:03,200 Speaker 1: what Shane without Tyler, without Noah, none of this would 575 00:27:03,200 --> 00:27:05,320 Speaker 1: be possible. As to get teammate right there. But before 576 00:27:05,880 --> 00:27:08,080 Speaker 1: uh dca hopped up there, I asked you a question 577 00:27:08,119 --> 00:27:11,119 Speaker 1: about this offensive line of what you saw fill me in, 578 00:27:11,200 --> 00:27:12,959 Speaker 1: big Gray, Yeah, I thought they played a little bit 579 00:27:13,000 --> 00:27:15,399 Speaker 1: better today. Hey, I gotta do it you again, big homie. 580 00:27:15,400 --> 00:27:18,119 Speaker 1: Geno Smith is at the podium, you know, fighting to 581 00:27:18,600 --> 00:27:21,720 Speaker 1: trying to get into the playoffs division game against the 582 00:27:21,720 --> 00:27:24,120 Speaker 1: division opponent. It was a real tough game out there, 583 00:27:24,680 --> 00:27:25,840 Speaker 1: you know, as you guys can see, it was a 584 00:27:25,840 --> 00:27:28,719 Speaker 1: real scrappy game out there. Uh. And also felt like 585 00:27:29,160 --> 00:27:31,520 Speaker 1: during the season we had some opportunities where we could 586 00:27:31,520 --> 00:27:33,600 Speaker 1: have done the same thing and might have felt short. 587 00:27:33,640 --> 00:27:37,000 Speaker 1: And so uh as we continue on late into the season, Uh, 588 00:27:37,160 --> 00:27:38,920 Speaker 1: you know, you want to show improvement, and I think 589 00:27:38,960 --> 00:27:42,520 Speaker 1: that's where it showed a lot of grit determination. You 590 00:27:42,560 --> 00:27:45,520 Speaker 1: see a bunch of different guys may plays, may catches, 591 00:27:45,560 --> 00:27:47,280 Speaker 1: and the offici line did a great job. And so 592 00:27:48,040 --> 00:27:49,639 Speaker 1: you know, it's something that we gotta have. You know, 593 00:27:49,680 --> 00:27:51,439 Speaker 1: the games are gonna come down to that in the NFL. 594 00:27:51,560 --> 00:27:53,359 Speaker 1: That's what the playoff game is gonna feel like. And 595 00:27:53,600 --> 00:27:55,640 Speaker 1: it was real good to get a win. I'm talking 596 00:27:55,640 --> 00:27:58,399 Speaker 1: about you boy, and talked about to the termination, Like 597 00:27:58,400 --> 00:28:01,600 Speaker 1: you said, focused just as you're growing through out the 598 00:28:01,720 --> 00:28:04,720 Speaker 1: season and then throwing into that game when you're driving mentality, 599 00:28:04,760 --> 00:28:07,159 Speaker 1: what we're thinking and making sure that you were to 600 00:28:07,200 --> 00:28:10,239 Speaker 1: be successful drive you know, honestly, just one play at 601 00:28:10,240 --> 00:28:13,119 Speaker 1: a time and uh uh, you know, take out the 602 00:28:13,160 --> 00:28:16,520 Speaker 1: situation and just play football. Um, you know, obviously, you know, 603 00:28:16,880 --> 00:28:18,840 Speaker 1: you know, the game's on the line, but I think 604 00:28:18,880 --> 00:28:21,639 Speaker 1: sometimes when you focus on that, uh, you know, it 605 00:28:21,680 --> 00:28:24,080 Speaker 1: can it can build stress. And so for me, just 606 00:28:24,160 --> 00:28:26,480 Speaker 1: you know, make the place one play at a time, 607 00:28:26,720 --> 00:28:29,560 Speaker 1: get the ball to the guys, complete passes. Uh. You know, 608 00:28:29,560 --> 00:28:31,399 Speaker 1: Coach Carol told me they just played pitch and catch, 609 00:28:31,680 --> 00:28:33,199 Speaker 1: and that's what I tried to do, you know, just 610 00:28:33,200 --> 00:28:35,520 Speaker 1: go out there and uh get the ball and scoring range. 611 00:28:35,920 --> 00:28:37,680 Speaker 1: And then when we got down there, we had enough 612 00:28:37,720 --> 00:28:39,440 Speaker 1: time to go out there and finish, and uh, DK 613 00:28:39,600 --> 00:28:42,120 Speaker 1: made a tremendous catch. The line did a great job, 614 00:28:42,320 --> 00:28:44,160 Speaker 1: you know, Shane made a great call and we pulled 615 00:28:44,160 --> 00:28:46,720 Speaker 1: it out. I mean, it's got to be pretty cool. 616 00:28:46,720 --> 00:28:49,200 Speaker 1: I know, your first guy and getting everybody to credit, 617 00:28:49,240 --> 00:28:56,240 Speaker 1: but you had a game when you drive, you know, yeah, 618 00:28:56,240 --> 00:28:58,200 Speaker 1: that's the game. You know, that's the game. Man, it's 619 00:28:58,200 --> 00:29:00,200 Speaker 1: the game I grew up watching in Love and Man, 620 00:29:00,240 --> 00:29:04,000 Speaker 1: just watching how tough those games can be. And uh, 621 00:29:04,120 --> 00:29:06,400 Speaker 1: we wanted to do this for our fan base. We 622 00:29:06,440 --> 00:29:08,200 Speaker 1: wanted to do this for our team. You know. Obviously 623 00:29:08,200 --> 00:29:10,920 Speaker 1: we came back and we didn't win the previous two games, 624 00:29:10,920 --> 00:29:13,400 Speaker 1: and so this was crucial. It was important for us 625 00:29:13,440 --> 00:29:15,840 Speaker 1: to get this win a division opponent, like I said, 626 00:29:16,040 --> 00:29:18,080 Speaker 1: and also, man, we're fighting for the playoffs. That's that's 627 00:29:18,080 --> 00:29:19,840 Speaker 1: what my mind is. I want to get to the playoffs, 628 00:29:20,000 --> 00:29:22,680 Speaker 1: and so I'm focusing on that. Uh, one game at 629 00:29:22,680 --> 00:29:24,040 Speaker 1: a time, you know, just trying to put us in 630 00:29:24,120 --> 00:29:28,520 Speaker 1: position to uh, you know, give ourselves a chance. Window 631 00:29:28,680 --> 00:29:31,800 Speaker 1: on that touchdown the DK, what did you see how 632 00:29:32,000 --> 00:29:37,800 Speaker 1: you can play? Yeah, you know, the NFL is full 633 00:29:37,840 --> 00:29:39,800 Speaker 1: of tight window throws. You're gonna have to be able 634 00:29:39,840 --> 00:29:42,040 Speaker 1: to make those. Um, you got great defenders out there. 635 00:29:42,120 --> 00:29:44,920 Speaker 1: Ramsey's a great corner and on that play, DK was 636 00:29:44,960 --> 00:29:46,920 Speaker 1: lined up on the backside. He came across on an 637 00:29:46,920 --> 00:29:49,400 Speaker 1: over route. Ramsey was riding his back and there was 638 00:29:49,400 --> 00:29:51,360 Speaker 1: a safety kind of ride in front of him, So 639 00:29:51,800 --> 00:29:54,120 Speaker 1: there wasn't a huge window. But I mean when you 640 00:29:54,200 --> 00:29:56,880 Speaker 1: got DK metcalf, you know, big six four receiver two 641 00:29:56,920 --> 00:29:59,240 Speaker 1: twenty two thirty, Uh, it's gonna be hard for those 642 00:29:59,240 --> 00:30:01,160 Speaker 1: guys to get to the before he does. And so 643 00:30:01,200 --> 00:30:03,920 Speaker 1: I just tried to put it on him, allowed him 644 00:30:03,960 --> 00:30:05,640 Speaker 1: to you know, use his skill set and he made 645 00:30:05,680 --> 00:30:09,280 Speaker 1: a tremendous catch. Rats a situations that one of your 646 00:30:09,320 --> 00:30:11,800 Speaker 1: favorite players. I would say so many time we could 647 00:30:11,800 --> 00:30:15,040 Speaker 1: throw a game winner. Man, it's always it's always great, um, 648 00:30:15,080 --> 00:30:16,920 Speaker 1: you know, especially the way that we did it today. 649 00:30:17,040 --> 00:30:19,640 Speaker 1: We were gritty, h took every single man on the team, 650 00:30:19,680 --> 00:30:23,560 Speaker 1: took every player on offense, and we just continued to fight. Um. 651 00:30:23,560 --> 00:30:25,800 Speaker 1: We had an opportunity there. We could have just said, hey, 652 00:30:25,840 --> 00:30:27,760 Speaker 1: let's just settle for the field goal. No one was 653 00:30:27,760 --> 00:30:29,640 Speaker 1: in that mindset, you know, we all were thinking, let's 654 00:30:29,640 --> 00:30:31,960 Speaker 1: go win the game. And we got it done. What 655 00:30:32,080 --> 00:30:35,400 Speaker 1: happened against that final guy wrapping at and last couple 656 00:30:35,400 --> 00:30:39,880 Speaker 1: of going to learning how to yes, sir um, And 657 00:30:40,000 --> 00:30:41,880 Speaker 1: that's what we gotta have, you know, you gotta continue 658 00:30:41,880 --> 00:30:44,880 Speaker 1: to progress, find ways to get better. Obviously we didn't 659 00:30:44,880 --> 00:30:47,720 Speaker 1: do that, um in those other two games. But like 660 00:30:47,720 --> 00:30:49,560 Speaker 1: I said, no one panicked. We just looked at it 661 00:30:49,600 --> 00:30:52,760 Speaker 1: as another opportunity to learn and get better and to grow. 662 00:30:52,800 --> 00:30:56,800 Speaker 1: And so I'm missing in the game. Coach showed us 663 00:30:56,840 --> 00:31:00,160 Speaker 1: Kobe last night and um, you know the Momba mentality. 664 00:31:00,200 --> 00:31:02,320 Speaker 1: That's what he's all about, is uh is going out 665 00:31:02,320 --> 00:31:03,920 Speaker 1: there and winning, you know, late in the games. And 666 00:31:03,920 --> 00:31:06,560 Speaker 1: so we embraced that challenge and we look forward to it. 667 00:31:06,880 --> 00:31:08,320 Speaker 1: I think I told you guys that I look forward 668 00:31:08,360 --> 00:31:10,640 Speaker 1: to that next opportunity and this was it, and so 669 00:31:10,880 --> 00:31:13,520 Speaker 1: we got it done. Today took everybody, and uh, you know, 670 00:31:13,480 --> 00:31:18,200 Speaker 1: it's always great to get a win. So if you 671 00:31:18,480 --> 00:31:22,360 Speaker 1: get a sense of frown over, yeah, I mean, I'll 672 00:31:22,400 --> 00:31:25,080 Speaker 1: just that's how I play the game, you know, I 673 00:31:25,120 --> 00:31:27,120 Speaker 1: want to take over the game, you know, from starting 674 00:31:27,120 --> 00:31:30,880 Speaker 1: to finish. And so obviously, you know, praying for my guys. Man, 675 00:31:30,960 --> 00:31:33,960 Speaker 1: I hope they get back healthy soon. We need those guys. 676 00:31:34,440 --> 00:31:37,640 Speaker 1: But you know, the quarterback, uh, in the NFL is 677 00:31:37,640 --> 00:31:39,400 Speaker 1: the is the critical you know, piece of the team. 678 00:31:39,440 --> 00:31:40,960 Speaker 1: If you don't have a quarterback, it's gonna be hard 679 00:31:40,960 --> 00:31:44,080 Speaker 1: to win. And uh, you know, for me, that's all. 680 00:31:44,120 --> 00:31:46,000 Speaker 1: That's what I probed myself on, you know, my guys, 681 00:31:46,280 --> 00:31:48,800 Speaker 1: being able to count on me no matter the situation, 682 00:31:49,240 --> 00:31:51,920 Speaker 1: being reliable for the team, for the city, and just 683 00:31:51,960 --> 00:31:54,080 Speaker 1: going out there and winning, trying to find ways to 684 00:31:54,080 --> 00:32:02,040 Speaker 1: win your career. You're it's an not a thing. The win. 685 00:32:02,240 --> 00:32:04,120 Speaker 1: The win means something. The numbers don't mean the thing. 686 00:32:05,040 --> 00:32:08,080 Speaker 1: Whatever that was going around the build. Yeah, yeah, I've 687 00:32:08,080 --> 00:32:10,040 Speaker 1: been struggling. Man. I woke up to day hurting and 688 00:32:10,280 --> 00:32:12,480 Speaker 1: I just kept fighting, kept going, kept going, kept going, 689 00:32:12,520 --> 00:32:17,640 Speaker 1: and you know, God's good. We didn't say that it 690 00:32:17,680 --> 00:32:19,200 Speaker 1: wasn't a big enough game, but it was a good 691 00:32:19,280 --> 00:32:23,000 Speaker 1: you know, it was a good way to win. You. Yeah, 692 00:32:23,000 --> 00:32:25,000 Speaker 1: he just showed. Yeah, he showed the team. You mentioned the win, 696 00:32:34,400 --> 00:32:36,840 Speaker 1: so you had the ball that from the final player 697 00:32:36,920 --> 00:32:40,920 Speaker 1: you're bringing, Yes, sir, the third down struck, the third 698 00:32:40,960 --> 00:32:43,040 Speaker 1: doubt of the Tyler I mean just he seems always 699 00:32:43,920 --> 00:32:46,520 Speaker 1: two and those knowls. He made a ton of great 718 00:33:43,800 --> 00:33:46,280 Speaker 1: plays out there. We expected that he was leading those 719 00:33:46,320 --> 00:33:48,560 Speaker 1: guys the entire time, a little bit of trash talk, 720 00:33:48,640 --> 00:33:50,840 Speaker 1: you know, all all funning games, and uh, you know, 721 00:33:50,880 --> 00:33:52,200 Speaker 1: it's just a blessing to be able to go out 722 00:33:52,200 --> 00:33:59,520 Speaker 1: there and compete against him. Man, I'll say this, you know, 723 00:33:59,560 --> 00:34:01,560 Speaker 1: I gotta be careful. But I did see the running 724 00:34:01,560 --> 00:34:03,280 Speaker 1: back with the ball in his hand and his knee down, 725 00:34:03,280 --> 00:34:05,760 Speaker 1: So I don't know what happened after that. But I mean it's a 746 00:35:09,200 --> 00:35:12,200 Speaker 1: big time win against you know, a robbery opponent and 747 00:35:12,920 --> 00:35:14,560 Speaker 1: a team that's kind of had our numbers the last 748 00:35:14,560 --> 00:35:16,480 Speaker 1: couple of years. So for us, it was a pretty 749 00:35:16,480 --> 00:35:19,719 Speaker 1: big win. Sure, you don't drive, man, what you've been 750 00:35:19,760 --> 00:35:22,759 Speaker 1: doing all year you know, Um, he's just mentally tough, 751 00:35:22,840 --> 00:35:26,360 Speaker 1: mentally different and the way he reacts no situations, you know, 752 00:35:26,400 --> 00:35:28,279 Speaker 1: you can believe in him, trusting him that you know 753 00:35:28,280 --> 00:35:30,279 Speaker 1: he's gonna go down and do his thing. And you know, 754 00:35:30,320 --> 00:35:32,360 Speaker 1: we had great catches from everybody on there. You know, 755 00:35:32,400 --> 00:35:35,800 Speaker 1: we had great catches from Mark Keees and Malock and 756 00:35:35,880 --> 00:35:38,080 Speaker 1: DK and Noah's you know what I mean, just he 757 00:35:38,200 --> 00:35:39,880 Speaker 1: just spinning the ball out and get it done and 758 00:35:39,920 --> 00:35:42,040 Speaker 1: you know doing he's been doing complete passes and moving 759 00:35:42,080 --> 00:35:45,839 Speaker 1: to change. When you're watching that found drive, you're watching 760 00:35:46,360 --> 00:35:48,560 Speaker 1: the screens. Are you up there watching now? I was 761 00:35:48,600 --> 00:35:50,319 Speaker 1: watching on the screen because I'm like, well, if we 762 00:35:50,360 --> 00:35:51,960 Speaker 1: got to go back out there, I need to figure out, 763 00:35:52,160 --> 00:35:54,279 Speaker 1: you know, kind of what the other team is gonna be, 764 00:35:54,320 --> 00:35:56,840 Speaker 1: anticipate what I'm anticipating other team to do, and things 765 00:35:56,880 --> 00:35:59,200 Speaker 1: like that. But I mean, while coaches talking to me, 766 00:35:59,200 --> 00:36:01,759 Speaker 1: of course I ain't really I got one one out 767 00:36:01,800 --> 00:36:03,399 Speaker 1: on the game and one out on the coach trying 768 00:36:03,440 --> 00:36:05,319 Speaker 1: to listen and see what he's talking about, but also 769 00:36:05,360 --> 00:36:08,160 Speaker 1: trying to cheer my guys on. So um, definitely, you 770 00:36:08,200 --> 00:36:10,200 Speaker 1: know though some night screens, somebody as well look at 771 00:36:10,239 --> 00:36:14,000 Speaker 1: him think the way Cody Burton's played in the last 772 00:36:14,040 --> 00:36:16,120 Speaker 1: few weeks, He's playing well. You know, he had a 773 00:36:16,160 --> 00:36:19,759 Speaker 1: big time player at the end of the um end 774 00:36:19,760 --> 00:36:21,560 Speaker 1: of the game to see the game, and um, I 775 00:36:21,560 --> 00:36:24,319 Speaker 1: mean he's gonna continue to grow and um, you know 776 00:36:24,360 --> 00:36:26,560 Speaker 1: he's running around doing this thing and um and spending 777 00:36:26,560 --> 00:36:31,680 Speaker 1: pressure to see no question, you know. Um, it's one 778 00:36:31,680 --> 00:36:33,880 Speaker 1: of my favorite teammates in the world, you know. I 779 00:36:33,960 --> 00:36:38,000 Speaker 1: mean me and Bobby talked very regularly anyway, so UM, 780 00:36:38,160 --> 00:36:40,279 Speaker 1: we didn't really talk before the game. He knows me, 781 00:36:40,320 --> 00:36:43,239 Speaker 1: I know him, but um, you know after the game, 782 00:36:43,280 --> 00:36:45,200 Speaker 1: we just had a moment we embraced you know what 783 00:36:45,200 --> 00:36:47,040 Speaker 1: I mean. I just talked about appreciative I him for 784 00:36:47,480 --> 00:36:50,520 Speaker 1: you know, everything he's done for me. Um, coming here 785 00:36:50,520 --> 00:36:52,160 Speaker 1: in twenty nineteen, he was one of the guys that 786 00:36:52,239 --> 00:36:54,320 Speaker 1: took me on this wing and just kind of showed 787 00:36:54,320 --> 00:36:56,600 Speaker 1: me the way, you know, showed me what's the standing 788 00:36:56,640 --> 00:36:59,840 Speaker 1: around here, what how things supposed to go, and my 789 00:37:00,080 --> 00:37:02,480 Speaker 1: just trying to continue that, you know, UM get all 790 00:37:02,520 --> 00:37:05,600 Speaker 1: the culture and everything. Also it started with Bobby, you know, 791 00:37:05,680 --> 00:37:07,719 Speaker 1: I mean, it started with him, and for me, it's 792 00:37:07,760 --> 00:37:11,640 Speaker 1: just continued just to lead it on his sixth interception. 793 00:37:11,960 --> 00:37:14,799 Speaker 1: Not a nice past breakcout boy if you've been seen. 794 00:37:15,640 --> 00:37:17,400 Speaker 1: I mean the thing that I was more impressive with 795 00:37:17,400 --> 00:37:19,440 Speaker 1: it was just you know, his tackling the day. You know, 796 00:37:19,440 --> 00:37:23,160 Speaker 1: he was physical, you know, and um the picks and 797 00:37:23,320 --> 00:37:25,319 Speaker 1: you know, all that is cool, but you don't want 798 00:37:25,320 --> 00:37:27,040 Speaker 1: to be labeled as a cover corner. You know, you 799 00:37:27,080 --> 00:37:28,879 Speaker 1: want to be somebody that has an all around game. 800 00:37:28,960 --> 00:37:31,600 Speaker 1: And UM, I think that's what was more impressive, you 801 00:37:31,640 --> 00:37:33,600 Speaker 1: know than interception. We know he can do that. You know, 802 00:37:33,680 --> 00:37:35,879 Speaker 1: we know he can play man. You know he can 803 00:37:36,239 --> 00:37:39,040 Speaker 1: you know, get past breakers. But you know team's gonna 804 00:37:39,040 --> 00:37:40,360 Speaker 1: try him in the run game and he took that 805 00:37:40,360 --> 00:37:42,279 Speaker 1: step today, which is very cool for me to see. 806 00:37:42,480 --> 00:37:44,960 Speaker 1: How many corners in the NFL to sell that both 807 00:37:45,080 --> 00:37:47,759 Speaker 1: but are really good cover guys can also time. I 808 00:37:47,800 --> 00:37:50,120 Speaker 1: mean you saw one the day, you know, another team. 809 00:37:50,280 --> 00:37:52,640 Speaker 1: You know, m Jalen's been doing it for a long time. 810 00:37:52,680 --> 00:37:54,359 Speaker 1: He's been very physical in the run game and he's 811 00:37:54,400 --> 00:37:57,200 Speaker 1: played very well, you know, covering receivers. So you know, 812 00:37:57,239 --> 00:37:59,040 Speaker 1: if you want to be in the up echeln you know, 813 00:37:59,080 --> 00:38:00,359 Speaker 1: the best in the league, you got to be able 814 00:38:00,360 --> 00:38:02,640 Speaker 1: to do both. And um, I think that's the next 815 00:38:02,680 --> 00:38:05,200 Speaker 1: step for him, and UM, I think he'll continue taking 816 00:38:05,200 --> 00:38:07,799 Speaker 1: those texts because I'll continue to challenge him. We need 817 00:38:07,840 --> 00:38:11,480 Speaker 1: more impressive to get one that come against jail I 818 00:38:11,520 --> 00:38:13,359 Speaker 1: mean it's cool, you know what I mean. But that's 819 00:38:13,480 --> 00:38:16,120 Speaker 1: that's what we expect out of DK. You feel me, Um, 820 00:38:16,360 --> 00:38:19,279 Speaker 1: it's DK metcalf. You know it's not you know a DK. 821 00:38:19,960 --> 00:38:21,680 Speaker 1: It's big on big, you know, I mean, you want 822 00:38:21,719 --> 00:38:25,040 Speaker 1: those opportunities. D K want some Jailer wants something. Um, 823 00:38:25,080 --> 00:38:27,520 Speaker 1: you know DK wanted today and you know I'm gonna 824 00:38:27,560 --> 00:38:28,920 Speaker 1: have another battle at the end of the year and 825 00:38:29,040 --> 00:38:33,640 Speaker 1: to be another impressive matchup between those two. So, UM, 826 00:38:33,760 --> 00:38:35,759 Speaker 1: we all know what DK is. You know you you 827 00:38:35,840 --> 00:38:43,440 Speaker 1: expect that from him. Talk. You got an injury. I 828 00:38:43,520 --> 00:38:45,879 Speaker 1: talked to him before and after the game. But he's 829 00:38:45,920 --> 00:38:49,319 Speaker 1: doing good, you know, UM, taking care of yourself. And UM, 830 00:38:49,320 --> 00:38:51,120 Speaker 1: I actually sent him a text a couple of weeks ago, 831 00:38:51,239 --> 00:38:53,440 Speaker 1: you know, to be careful with that and just you know, 832 00:38:53,640 --> 00:38:56,120 Speaker 1: UM understand you know it's bigger than football and now 833 00:38:56,200 --> 00:38:59,239 Speaker 1: I'll always be my guy, you know. UM, I hate 834 00:38:59,560 --> 00:39:01,239 Speaker 1: I hate that he's not out that plan because I 835 00:39:01,320 --> 00:39:03,400 Speaker 1: love competing against him. And of course I love getting 836 00:39:03,400 --> 00:39:07,080 Speaker 1: interceptions off of him. So whenever he's back healthy, I 837 00:39:07,080 --> 00:39:08,960 Speaker 1: think he'll be back out there. And you know, if 838 00:39:08,960 --> 00:39:13,160 Speaker 1: that's next year, then you know we see him next year. Thanks. 839 00:39:14,440 --> 00:39:17,400 Speaker 1: That was Quandre Diggs, one of the leaders of this defense, 840 00:39:17,480 --> 00:39:20,120 Speaker 1: and yes, his defense gave up twenty three points and 841 00:39:20,160 --> 00:39:22,040 Speaker 1: one hundred and seventy one yards on the ground. But 842 00:39:22,080 --> 00:39:24,440 Speaker 1: when it was time to make some plays, it seems 843 00:39:24,480 --> 00:39:26,520 Speaker 1: like they did that. Last couple of weeks. They had 844 00:39:26,600 --> 00:39:29,759 Speaker 1: one quarterback sack this week that had four alone and 845 00:39:29,840 --> 00:39:32,720 Speaker 1: Chenna had one. Jordan Brooks had wanted than Darryl Taylor 846 00:39:32,760 --> 00:39:34,640 Speaker 1: had won late in the game to kind of sold 847 00:39:34,640 --> 00:39:37,640 Speaker 1: this thing up. Moya. When you look at this defense, 848 00:39:38,880 --> 00:39:41,880 Speaker 1: what improvements did they make? What still needs to happen? 849 00:39:42,840 --> 00:39:44,799 Speaker 1: End of the day, we got a w though shut 850 00:39:44,800 --> 00:39:47,440 Speaker 1: it down the end of the game. Well, I think 851 00:39:47,480 --> 00:39:51,799 Speaker 1: the improvement is how they played the running backs in 852 00:39:51,840 --> 00:39:54,160 Speaker 1: the running game, I mean they held I think acres 853 00:39:54,160 --> 00:39:56,640 Speaker 1: were at three yards per carrier right around that. I mean, 854 00:39:57,040 --> 00:40:01,160 Speaker 1: so we did that. It's I mean, every weeks you 855 00:40:01,239 --> 00:40:03,960 Speaker 1: gotta make changes. You know, this is a game of adjustments. 856 00:40:03,920 --> 00:40:05,719 Speaker 1: Say look at you, how we're going to attack you. 857 00:40:05,800 --> 00:40:09,320 Speaker 1: They absolutely worked us on the you know edges today 858 00:40:09,320 --> 00:40:11,960 Speaker 1: and we didn't tackle well again, So we got to 859 00:40:12,000 --> 00:40:15,440 Speaker 1: continue to do that. Um, it's hard because you know, 860 00:40:15,440 --> 00:40:17,160 Speaker 1: I gotta you guys gotta go back and watch the 861 00:40:17,200 --> 00:40:19,160 Speaker 1: game from the end zone and it's it's I can't 862 00:40:19,200 --> 00:40:22,239 Speaker 1: tell too many things on where the mistakes happened, but 863 00:40:22,280 --> 00:40:25,160 Speaker 1: to me, it's really we've got to start security edge 864 00:40:25,239 --> 00:40:26,960 Speaker 1: unless it's just one of those ways say you know what, 865 00:40:26,960 --> 00:40:29,080 Speaker 1: we'll take our chances out there and rally to it, 866 00:40:29,280 --> 00:40:32,319 Speaker 1: and that could be too. Hawks were better on fourth 867 00:40:32,320 --> 00:40:34,720 Speaker 1: down when it comes to their opposition. Held the Rams 868 00:40:34,719 --> 00:40:37,120 Speaker 1: to four for twelve on third down. They were five 869 00:40:37,160 --> 00:40:39,000 Speaker 1: for ten on third down. They're around forty two percent 870 00:40:39,080 --> 00:40:41,400 Speaker 1: typically Big Ray when it comes off his conversion on 871 00:40:41,640 --> 00:40:44,520 Speaker 1: third down. Your views on his defense, well, I thought 872 00:40:44,600 --> 00:40:46,840 Speaker 1: the middle of the defense played a little better today, 873 00:40:46,880 --> 00:40:48,840 Speaker 1: you know, al Woods and putting a forward. You know, 874 00:40:48,960 --> 00:40:51,319 Speaker 1: we're consistently in the run game. Like on the other 875 00:40:51,320 --> 00:40:53,200 Speaker 1: side of the Lina scrimmage, like we talked about in 876 00:40:53,239 --> 00:40:55,640 Speaker 1: the pregame, Like Paul said, there was some some mis 877 00:40:55,840 --> 00:40:59,920 Speaker 1: tackling or not miss just bad tackling earlier, but they 878 00:41:00,040 --> 00:41:02,600 Speaker 1: did seem to be attacking the edges, especially to the 879 00:41:02,719 --> 00:41:06,680 Speaker 1: left edge of the defense. Uh. But but I think 880 00:41:06,680 --> 00:41:09,719 Speaker 1: there was some improvement in the interior defensive line. And 881 00:41:09,760 --> 00:41:11,960 Speaker 1: then you know, we're talking before all of this about 882 00:41:12,000 --> 00:41:14,239 Speaker 1: the offensive line and uh, you know, I thought they 883 00:41:14,600 --> 00:41:17,080 Speaker 1: did well in pass protection when they really needed it, 884 00:41:17,080 --> 00:41:20,680 Speaker 1: but they but there's still some leakage there, especially when 885 00:41:20,680 --> 00:41:24,479 Speaker 1: they get the center isled up on one on one 886 00:41:24,640 --> 00:41:27,560 Speaker 1: pass blocking situation, a run blocking situation that they need 887 00:41:27,600 --> 00:41:29,080 Speaker 1: to kind of show up and figure out how to 888 00:41:29,239 --> 00:41:32,879 Speaker 1: how to protect him. In those situations. The boot game 889 00:41:32,920 --> 00:41:35,640 Speaker 1: seemed to kill this defense. Be well, what is it 890 00:41:35,680 --> 00:41:38,240 Speaker 1: about the boot game that you think confuses the second 891 00:41:38,239 --> 00:41:41,080 Speaker 1: and third level and allow the RAMS to get their 892 00:41:41,120 --> 00:41:43,480 Speaker 1: office going that way. Yeah. I don't know if we're 893 00:41:43,520 --> 00:41:46,440 Speaker 1: just overaggressive and that's what teams are picking up on. 894 00:41:46,520 --> 00:41:48,640 Speaker 1: But I mean, we're sitting up there watching this and 895 00:41:48,640 --> 00:41:51,800 Speaker 1: we're we're seeing these boots happening before the place snap. 896 00:41:51,800 --> 00:41:53,600 Speaker 1: We're like, hey, watch this boot. Look at this like 897 00:41:53,640 --> 00:41:56,040 Speaker 1: they their rams had the edge pre snap and we 898 00:41:56,040 --> 00:41:58,319 Speaker 1: could see that. And if we can see that, I mean, 899 00:41:58,360 --> 00:42:00,960 Speaker 1: I can't imagine why they can't see that down there. 900 00:42:01,040 --> 00:42:03,520 Speaker 1: But um, you know this, this team's gonna be aggressive 901 00:42:03,560 --> 00:42:06,680 Speaker 1: this defense. Uh, they're they're a bunch of just great athletes, 902 00:42:06,719 --> 00:42:09,200 Speaker 1: are fast, They're gonna fly around. That's what they're taught. 903 00:42:09,239 --> 00:42:12,040 Speaker 1: And that's gonna happen. You know, teams will will game 904 00:42:12,080 --> 00:42:14,440 Speaker 1: plan that. And and you know teams can't do it 905 00:42:14,520 --> 00:42:17,000 Speaker 1: every play. Um, you know, then they'd catch on. But 906 00:42:17,000 --> 00:42:19,439 Speaker 1: occasionally they're gonna the other team's gonna make a play, 907 00:42:19,520 --> 00:42:22,319 Speaker 1: gonna win, gonna have the right call. And and I 908 00:42:22,360 --> 00:42:24,600 Speaker 1: think the Seahawks might just be saying, hey, we're gonna 909 00:42:24,600 --> 00:42:26,000 Speaker 1: give them that. We're gonna give them tho boots, We're 910 00:42:26,000 --> 00:42:28,839 Speaker 1: going to give them those flats, but beat us other ways. Um, 911 00:42:28,920 --> 00:42:31,839 Speaker 1: you know, because it's not you that's not the game 912 00:42:31,920 --> 00:42:34,120 Speaker 1: of the big plays. That's not that's not the explosive 913 00:42:34,160 --> 00:42:36,520 Speaker 1: plays that Pete Carroll always talks about. Right, that's maybe 914 00:42:36,520 --> 00:42:39,200 Speaker 1: the four or five yard first down they're getting. You know, 915 00:42:39,239 --> 00:42:42,439 Speaker 1: I know Wolford scrambled for one there and during crunch time, 916 00:42:42,480 --> 00:42:46,719 Speaker 1: but uh, they'll practice those and you know they'll get it. Um. 917 00:42:46,840 --> 00:42:49,320 Speaker 1: All in all, for the defense, it wasn't what I 918 00:42:49,440 --> 00:42:52,080 Speaker 1: like to see out there, twenty three points against a 919 00:42:52,120 --> 00:42:55,080 Speaker 1: team without really any stars out there. You know, they're guys. 920 00:42:55,120 --> 00:42:59,279 Speaker 1: So uh, whether the Seahawks get that last drive there 921 00:42:59,400 --> 00:43:01,520 Speaker 1: and win, or you know, the Rams win twenty three 922 00:43:01,600 --> 00:43:04,600 Speaker 1: twenty still the same performance. Not ideal in my opinion. 923 00:43:04,880 --> 00:43:07,480 Speaker 1: Turbo thoughts on the defense, we got any meat left 924 00:43:07,520 --> 00:43:10,439 Speaker 1: on a bone for you? What are your thoughts there? Nah? 925 00:43:10,440 --> 00:43:13,439 Speaker 1: I mean, I think you guys said it all. I think, 926 00:43:13,480 --> 00:43:15,400 Speaker 1: you know, the one thing to kind of consider is 927 00:43:15,840 --> 00:43:18,359 Speaker 1: we put this huge emphasis on stopping the run this week. 928 00:43:18,440 --> 00:43:20,279 Speaker 1: You know, the last couple of weeks hadn't been great, 929 00:43:20,320 --> 00:43:22,120 Speaker 1: and so you know, we talk about some of those 930 00:43:22,120 --> 00:43:25,040 Speaker 1: bootleg plays, some of those play action plays. Yeah, perhaps 931 00:43:25,080 --> 00:43:26,759 Speaker 1: you're a little over aggressive one the run because of 932 00:43:26,800 --> 00:43:29,080 Speaker 1: the emphasis that we put on it this week in 933 00:43:29,200 --> 00:43:32,520 Speaker 1: practice and not wanting to allow the Rams to really 934 00:43:32,520 --> 00:43:35,040 Speaker 1: get off the ball on us in the run game. 935 00:43:35,680 --> 00:43:37,840 Speaker 1: The one thing that I would say is, you know, 936 00:43:37,880 --> 00:43:41,560 Speaker 1: I think we do well against outside like zone scheme 937 00:43:41,600 --> 00:43:45,160 Speaker 1: plays just because of our lateral quickness and our ability 938 00:43:45,200 --> 00:43:47,960 Speaker 1: to be able to run to the football. Obviously, we 939 00:43:48,040 --> 00:43:49,359 Speaker 1: got to be able to set the edge on those 940 00:43:49,360 --> 00:43:51,600 Speaker 1: fly sweeps and do a lot of a much better 941 00:43:51,680 --> 00:43:54,480 Speaker 1: job on that. But man, it's those downhill runs that 942 00:43:54,520 --> 00:43:56,399 Speaker 1: we really need to improve on. Those runs that are 943 00:43:56,400 --> 00:43:59,919 Speaker 1: coming straight at us, like those inside zones, those isotype player, 944 00:44:00,400 --> 00:44:03,520 Speaker 1: those duo type plays still got us a little bit today, 945 00:44:03,719 --> 00:44:06,200 Speaker 1: and you know that that's something we need to still improve. 946 00:44:06,560 --> 00:44:08,960 Speaker 1: You know, I get to throw a little prodcause a 947 00:44:09,000 --> 00:44:11,520 Speaker 1: lot of times just perception, right, I mean, I'm I 948 00:44:11,719 --> 00:44:13,560 Speaker 1: just went. They had about one hundred and fifty yards 949 00:44:13,560 --> 00:44:16,120 Speaker 1: in the first quarter. They finished with three hundred nineteen 950 00:44:16,200 --> 00:44:18,440 Speaker 1: for the game. They had over two hundred yards at half, 951 00:44:18,520 --> 00:44:20,120 Speaker 1: and we held them the right around one hundred and 952 00:44:20,120 --> 00:44:23,720 Speaker 1: the second half. So there's improvement there. I'm just looking 953 00:44:23,760 --> 00:44:28,560 Speaker 1: for NFC West Championship defense and they gotta get it 954 00:44:28,600 --> 00:44:30,520 Speaker 1: going because they got two weeks before we played the 955 00:44:30,560 --> 00:44:32,520 Speaker 1: forty nine ers. Yeah, we saw with them boys did 956 00:44:32,560 --> 00:44:35,359 Speaker 1: to the Dolphins today. Hey, Seahawks fans, do you want 957 00:44:35,360 --> 00:44:38,160 Speaker 1: access to exclusive ticket promotions in the last minute ticket 958 00:44:38,160 --> 00:44:41,680 Speaker 1: releases before game day? Simply take Seahawks to seven twelve 959 00:44:41,719 --> 00:44:44,600 Speaker 1: eleven and opt in to receive the latest offers. All right, 960 00:44:44,880 --> 00:44:47,440 Speaker 1: when we return, we were here from Tyler Lockett. He 961 00:44:47,520 --> 00:44:49,680 Speaker 1: is at the podium that's coming up next to Seahawks 962 00:44:49,719 --> 00:44:51,919 Speaker 1: go to LA and get it done. Twenty seven, twenty three, 963 00:44:52,560 --> 00:44:55,640 Speaker 1: Tyler Lockett had himself a day nine for one twenty 964 00:44:55,640 --> 00:44:58,640 Speaker 1: eight and one touchdown. He's at the podium now, man. 965 00:44:58,719 --> 00:45:00,239 Speaker 1: I think it means a lot just be able to 966 00:45:00,280 --> 00:45:02,799 Speaker 1: get this type of win, just because when you look 967 00:45:02,800 --> 00:45:04,400 Speaker 1: at some of the games that we lost, we had 968 00:45:04,400 --> 00:45:07,560 Speaker 1: an opportunity just to be able to finish, and sometimes 969 00:45:07,560 --> 00:45:11,520 Speaker 1: we got penalties. Sometimes we um kind of like hurt 970 00:45:11,560 --> 00:45:14,160 Speaker 1: ourselves and pushed ourselves in the foot and just being 971 00:45:14,160 --> 00:45:17,919 Speaker 1: able to have this opportunity knowing that we're down, we're away, 972 00:45:18,160 --> 00:45:20,600 Speaker 1: and everybody bought in. A lot of people had big 973 00:45:20,600 --> 00:45:22,600 Speaker 1: time catches, know what, had a big time catch on 974 00:45:22,640 --> 00:45:25,799 Speaker 1: the drive, DK had one, Keys had one, and then 975 00:45:25,880 --> 00:45:28,920 Speaker 1: DK finished with a touchdown. Man. That's why we probably 976 00:45:28,920 --> 00:45:31,640 Speaker 1: just two minutes all the time. That's why um peace 977 00:45:31,719 --> 00:45:33,520 Speaker 1: focal point is being able to make sure that we 978 00:45:33,560 --> 00:45:36,200 Speaker 1: take advantage of these two minutes because you never know 979 00:45:36,320 --> 00:45:38,600 Speaker 1: that that's what that's what ends up telling you whether 980 00:45:38,640 --> 00:45:44,080 Speaker 1: you want to lose Kin, what's your mindset on those 981 00:45:44,239 --> 00:45:46,920 Speaker 1: key third downs? Well, I mean those first two plays, 982 00:45:46,960 --> 00:45:49,920 Speaker 1: I kind of you know, wasn't able to u to 983 00:45:50,040 --> 00:45:52,440 Speaker 1: finish up, and so just being able to have an 984 00:45:52,440 --> 00:45:55,719 Speaker 1: opportunity on third down understanding the sticks, you know, most 985 00:45:55,760 --> 00:45:58,400 Speaker 1: likely you you know, I kind of went a little 986 00:45:58,400 --> 00:46:01,000 Speaker 1: further than I should have, but was just trying to 987 00:46:01,040 --> 00:46:03,480 Speaker 1: be able to anticipate the throat and try to get 988 00:46:03,480 --> 00:46:05,040 Speaker 1: as much as I could, just to be able to 989 00:46:05,040 --> 00:46:07,440 Speaker 1: make it fourth and one or fourth and two. Luckily 990 00:46:07,480 --> 00:46:09,000 Speaker 1: we was able to get the first down keep the 991 00:46:09,000 --> 00:46:11,640 Speaker 1: sixth moving. But um, you know that's the biggest thing 992 00:46:11,640 --> 00:46:14,200 Speaker 1: about the game of football. Third down. That's where the 993 00:46:14,239 --> 00:46:16,640 Speaker 1: wins and losses come as well. And so just for 994 00:46:16,719 --> 00:46:19,040 Speaker 1: us being able to do good on third down, being 995 00:46:19,040 --> 00:46:21,239 Speaker 1: able to up the tempo, putting the rams in a 996 00:46:21,280 --> 00:46:23,759 Speaker 1: bunch of different situations allowed us to be able to 997 00:46:23,760 --> 00:46:28,920 Speaker 1: have a chance to win. Probably a little shorter, like 998 00:46:29,000 --> 00:46:31,479 Speaker 1: probably the max I was supposed to get to maybe eight, 999 00:46:31,920 --> 00:46:33,920 Speaker 1: So I mean I kind of got to that point. 1000 00:46:34,000 --> 00:46:35,800 Speaker 1: But you know, it's better for me to be shorter 1001 00:46:35,880 --> 00:46:45,680 Speaker 1: than deeper things this season. Man, that's a big time moment. Man. 1002 00:46:45,880 --> 00:46:47,879 Speaker 1: You know, like a lot of people have their own 1003 00:46:47,880 --> 00:46:50,680 Speaker 1: opinions of quarterbacks and what they can and can't do, 1004 00:46:51,120 --> 00:46:53,080 Speaker 1: And the biggest thing about Geno is, man, he just 1005 00:46:53,120 --> 00:46:56,000 Speaker 1: puts his head down and he just works. You know, 1006 00:46:56,040 --> 00:46:57,640 Speaker 1: he just does what needs to be done to be 1007 00:46:57,680 --> 00:47:00,319 Speaker 1: able to help us play. You know, like I said, 1008 00:47:00,360 --> 00:47:03,120 Speaker 1: he had a chance to be able to help us 1009 00:47:03,160 --> 00:47:05,200 Speaker 1: win a numerous amount of times, and we just shot 1010 00:47:05,200 --> 00:47:08,160 Speaker 1: our own selves in the foot or we got those flags. 1011 00:47:08,160 --> 00:47:11,719 Speaker 1: And so just seeing his mentality, seeing how you know, 1012 00:47:11,800 --> 00:47:13,759 Speaker 1: he's all he's all in the game, he's all in, 1013 00:47:13,840 --> 00:47:17,239 Speaker 1: he's bought in. Uh, he's making plays left and right. Uh, 1014 00:47:17,280 --> 00:47:20,080 Speaker 1: there was a play right there that he made that. Um, 1015 00:47:20,160 --> 00:47:21,960 Speaker 1: I'm thinking it was on that drive. I think it 1016 00:47:22,040 --> 00:47:24,360 Speaker 1: was maybe I don't know if it was before the 1017 00:47:24,400 --> 00:47:26,560 Speaker 1: first or what, but he was about to get sacked 1018 00:47:26,560 --> 00:47:28,439 Speaker 1: and he threw it the tony and it hit the ground. 1019 00:47:28,440 --> 00:47:30,759 Speaker 1: That's a big time play, you know, like people get 1020 00:47:30,800 --> 00:47:33,359 Speaker 1: caught up in the catches and the touchdowns and um, 1021 00:47:33,400 --> 00:47:35,520 Speaker 1: the first downs. But that's a big time play because 1022 00:47:35,520 --> 00:47:38,279 Speaker 1: that's that's second and fifteen or whatever the case is. 1023 00:47:38,320 --> 00:47:41,640 Speaker 1: And so just uh, just his mentality and and iq 1024 00:47:41,760 --> 00:47:47,000 Speaker 1: of the game. I mean that that says a lot. YEA, 1025 00:47:47,320 --> 00:47:49,680 Speaker 1: even though it was a legal contact, even though we 1026 00:47:49,680 --> 00:47:52,120 Speaker 1: were able to still get the first down, even if 1027 00:47:52,120 --> 00:47:53,919 Speaker 1: we weren't able to. I mean that's still a big 1028 00:47:53,960 --> 00:47:56,440 Speaker 1: play in the game because you take a sack. We 1029 00:47:56,480 --> 00:47:59,000 Speaker 1: got to use a time out. It's second and fifteen, 1030 00:47:59,040 --> 00:48:01,440 Speaker 1: second and seventeen and you know when you play the 1031 00:48:01,480 --> 00:48:03,600 Speaker 1: team like the Rams, you don't want to be in 1032 00:48:03,640 --> 00:48:11,000 Speaker 1: those um second and long situations. H I mean that 1033 00:48:11,080 --> 00:48:14,440 Speaker 1: was for everybody, you know, just depending on how how 1034 00:48:14,480 --> 00:48:16,759 Speaker 1: the team decided to cover. Dka did a great job 1035 00:48:16,760 --> 00:48:20,120 Speaker 1: getting himself across the field. Um, just being in Geno's 1036 00:48:20,160 --> 00:48:24,000 Speaker 1: peripheral and you know, Geno scrambled, he knew what he 1037 00:48:24,320 --> 00:48:26,920 Speaker 1: knew what he was doing. DK was able to get across. 1038 00:48:26,960 --> 00:48:29,359 Speaker 1: And I mean, man, like you know, you throw DK 1039 00:48:29,520 --> 00:48:31,839 Speaker 1: the ball, man, DK gonna he gonna make plays, He's 1040 00:48:31,880 --> 00:48:33,560 Speaker 1: gonna do whatever. And he was able to catch it 1041 00:48:33,640 --> 00:48:35,960 Speaker 1: secure it. You know. Chad I running back coach, always 1042 00:48:36,000 --> 00:48:38,520 Speaker 1: talks about that because dB is trying to punch it 1043 00:48:38,520 --> 00:48:40,840 Speaker 1: out and do all that. He did everything that was 1044 00:48:40,920 --> 00:48:48,759 Speaker 1: necessary to help us win that game. I think I 1045 00:48:48,760 --> 00:48:51,799 Speaker 1: think you've seen it, you know, just the poys of 1046 00:48:52,040 --> 00:48:56,040 Speaker 1: just not letting things, you know, shake them. Uh. You know, 1047 00:48:56,120 --> 00:49:00,000 Speaker 1: even even though you know, UM, some of his interceptions 1048 00:49:00,040 --> 00:49:02,120 Speaker 1: have been you know, throwing it to me and some 1049 00:49:02,200 --> 00:49:03,799 Speaker 1: of it, and you know, and it's been on me 1050 00:49:03,840 --> 00:49:06,200 Speaker 1: as well. But you see the resilience of him just 1051 00:49:06,239 --> 00:49:09,440 Speaker 1: coming back like like nothing ever happened, being able to 1052 00:49:09,480 --> 00:49:12,839 Speaker 1: get first downs, get touchdowns, respond, and it's like, you know, 1053 00:49:12,840 --> 00:49:16,000 Speaker 1: that's what you want. You want somebody that's not gonna 1054 00:49:16,200 --> 00:49:18,960 Speaker 1: um just be great when it's the good times and 1055 00:49:19,000 --> 00:49:22,239 Speaker 1: when everybody is celebrating you. You know, like even when 1056 00:49:22,480 --> 00:49:25,200 Speaker 1: even when things are going wrong, it's like Gino taps 1057 00:49:25,200 --> 00:49:28,040 Speaker 1: into another level. And you know that that's just having 1058 00:49:28,080 --> 00:49:30,799 Speaker 1: a strong mentality, because when things don't go your way, man, 1059 00:49:30,840 --> 00:49:34,040 Speaker 1: it's easy to just you know, start doubting yourself, start 1060 00:49:34,040 --> 00:49:37,520 Speaker 1: feeling you know, feeling down. Um, you know, looking for 1061 00:49:37,560 --> 00:49:40,200 Speaker 1: people to maybe like, you know, pump you up. But 1062 00:49:40,280 --> 00:49:43,359 Speaker 1: I mean I feel like Gino geno strong mentally. Man. 1063 00:49:43,440 --> 00:49:45,879 Speaker 1: He came a long way in this league. And so 1064 00:49:46,000 --> 00:49:48,520 Speaker 1: just the things that he's experienced and the things that 1065 00:49:48,560 --> 00:49:52,960 Speaker 1: he's overcome, I mean, you know, drops like this, I 1066 00:49:52,960 --> 00:49:55,320 Speaker 1: mean that's probably nothing to him from what he's overcome 1067 00:49:56,480 --> 00:49:59,000 Speaker 1: you just talked about. Yeah, I got a chance to 1068 00:49:59,000 --> 00:50:01,600 Speaker 1: talk to Bobby. Talked to Bobby before the game, during 1069 00:50:01,640 --> 00:50:04,600 Speaker 1: the game, after the game, Uh, you know, obviously, man, 1070 00:50:04,640 --> 00:50:08,040 Speaker 1: we wish that he was still here. Um, terrific brother, 1071 00:50:08,239 --> 00:50:11,000 Speaker 1: like an amazing big brother, um to me, to a 1072 00:50:11,080 --> 00:50:13,160 Speaker 1: lot of people on this team that got the chance 1073 00:50:13,160 --> 00:50:15,960 Speaker 1: to play with him, and you know, just being able 1074 00:50:15,960 --> 00:50:18,360 Speaker 1: to play against him, man, it's it's actually really cool 1075 00:50:18,520 --> 00:50:21,160 Speaker 1: because you go against somebody every single day of practice, 1076 00:50:21,560 --> 00:50:23,920 Speaker 1: and now you finally get a chance to line up 1077 00:50:23,960 --> 00:50:26,520 Speaker 1: and see what it's like to go against you know, Bobby, 1078 00:50:26,680 --> 00:50:29,359 Speaker 1: I'm a Hall of Fame player, one of the best 1079 00:50:29,360 --> 00:50:31,919 Speaker 1: to ever do it a linebacker. Times when you run 1080 00:50:31,920 --> 00:50:33,839 Speaker 1: in certain routes and he like, yeah, I'm right there, 1081 00:50:33,880 --> 00:50:35,879 Speaker 1: and you're like, I wonder if he was really right there? 1082 00:50:36,080 --> 00:50:37,880 Speaker 1: You know it it's kind of cool, like I was 1083 00:50:37,920 --> 00:50:41,919 Speaker 1: looking forward to getting tackled by Bobby for the first time. Like, man, 1084 00:50:42,000 --> 00:50:43,839 Speaker 1: but you know, I still wish he was here man, 1085 00:50:44,000 --> 00:50:46,480 Speaker 1: you know, but um, it was a great opportunity just 1086 00:50:46,520 --> 00:50:50,200 Speaker 1: to be able to play against him, you know, and uh, yeah, 1087 00:50:50,280 --> 00:51:00,440 Speaker 1: that's it said, yeah I'm right there. Actually, Oh, I 1088 00:51:00,440 --> 00:51:02,400 Speaker 1: don't know. You know, I think you always got to 1089 00:51:02,400 --> 00:51:04,680 Speaker 1: look for four or five, you know, when he's out 1090 00:51:04,719 --> 00:51:06,799 Speaker 1: there on the field, because the last thing you want 1091 00:51:06,800 --> 00:51:08,399 Speaker 1: to do is not see him coming and he really 1092 00:51:08,480 --> 00:51:11,560 Speaker 1: lights you up and hit you. But I mean, you know, 1093 00:51:11,600 --> 00:51:13,520 Speaker 1: I think I think the game was real fun. Like 1094 00:51:13,600 --> 00:51:16,920 Speaker 1: Bobby is a competitor, and you know, the biggest thing 1095 00:51:17,120 --> 00:51:18,719 Speaker 1: is like when he's out there, he wants to win 1096 00:51:18,760 --> 00:51:20,960 Speaker 1: as well. And you know the biggest thing about Bobby 1097 00:51:21,040 --> 00:51:23,080 Speaker 1: that we all take away, he brings out the best 1098 00:51:23,120 --> 00:51:25,440 Speaker 1: and each and every one of us, and so you know, 1099 00:51:25,480 --> 00:51:27,160 Speaker 1: we bring out the best of him as well. So 1100 00:51:27,200 --> 00:51:29,960 Speaker 1: when we're out there, we're brothers, we're friends, but we're 1101 00:51:30,000 --> 00:51:32,759 Speaker 1: also competing and we're trying to do whatever it takes 1102 00:51:32,760 --> 00:51:34,600 Speaker 1: to be able to win. And so I think I 1103 00:51:34,680 --> 00:51:36,440 Speaker 1: think just looking at this game, and it was like 1104 00:51:36,440 --> 00:51:39,400 Speaker 1: a playoff atmosphere, like, and that's what it's gonna be like, 1105 00:51:39,840 --> 00:51:41,520 Speaker 1: you know, for us the rest of this year is 1106 00:51:41,560 --> 00:51:44,000 Speaker 1: we're gonna be having to get in these dog fights 1107 00:51:44,040 --> 00:51:45,440 Speaker 1: just to be able to win. It's gonna be a 1108 00:51:45,520 --> 00:51:47,720 Speaker 1: lot of chirp and a lot of talking, and even 1109 00:51:47,840 --> 00:51:49,959 Speaker 1: a young team that we are, we gotta be able 1110 00:51:50,000 --> 00:51:52,040 Speaker 1: to stay poised. And I think it says a lot 1111 00:51:52,080 --> 00:51:54,080 Speaker 1: about what Gino did. I think it says a lot 1112 00:51:54,120 --> 00:51:56,600 Speaker 1: about what our rookies did, what our line did what 1113 00:51:56,760 --> 00:51:59,799 Speaker 1: we all did as a whole, people stepping up, being 1114 00:51:59,840 --> 00:52:02,279 Speaker 1: able to make plays when people are going down. And 1115 00:52:02,680 --> 00:52:04,360 Speaker 1: that's the type of mindset that we got to have 1116 00:52:04,440 --> 00:52:08,919 Speaker 1: moving forward, just staying poise the teammates, the broad he's 1117 00:52:08,960 --> 00:52:12,960 Speaker 1: sick all weekend, and yeah, man, like it's tough being 1118 00:52:12,960 --> 00:52:14,880 Speaker 1: able to go out there and play sick, you know, 1119 00:52:15,000 --> 00:52:17,000 Speaker 1: But you the biggest thing about this game is when 1120 00:52:17,040 --> 00:52:19,640 Speaker 1: you watch film, nobody knows if you're sick, you know 1121 00:52:19,680 --> 00:52:21,560 Speaker 1: what I mean, Like, nobody cares if you're sick, Like, 1122 00:52:21,640 --> 00:52:23,680 Speaker 1: this is your job, this is what you're supposed to do. 1123 00:52:24,120 --> 00:52:26,920 Speaker 1: And so just just like I said, the resilience of 1124 00:52:27,320 --> 00:52:29,680 Speaker 1: each and every teammate, whether they had the flu or 1125 00:52:29,719 --> 00:52:32,160 Speaker 1: whatever the case is, I don't know, all right, that 1126 00:52:32,320 --> 00:52:35,680 Speaker 1: was Tyler Lockett had himself a day nine for one, 1127 00:52:35,800 --> 00:52:39,200 Speaker 1: twenty eight one touchdown. Be well, what is it about 1128 00:52:39,320 --> 00:52:43,040 Speaker 1: Tyler Lockett that this allows him to continually put up 1129 00:52:43,120 --> 00:52:45,520 Speaker 1: games and numbers like we saw today. I think he 1130 00:52:45,600 --> 00:52:48,480 Speaker 1: just understands where he's going. He understands the offense so 1131 00:52:48,520 --> 00:52:51,319 Speaker 1: well that he's always in the right spot. You know, 1132 00:52:51,360 --> 00:52:54,560 Speaker 1: you see these little holes that that Gino looks like. 1133 00:52:54,600 --> 00:52:56,200 Speaker 1: I'm like where's he throwing that? And that ball just 1134 00:52:56,280 --> 00:52:58,360 Speaker 1: drops right into lock Its hands and he's in the 1135 00:52:58,400 --> 00:53:01,080 Speaker 1: perfect spot. And I mean his move so fast, you know, 1136 00:53:01,080 --> 00:53:03,160 Speaker 1: watching he's a little guy out there run around making 1137 00:53:03,160 --> 00:53:06,120 Speaker 1: guys miss um his yak. You know, his yards after 1138 00:53:06,200 --> 00:53:08,600 Speaker 1: catch or today was big. Especially was it the first 1139 00:53:08,600 --> 00:53:10,439 Speaker 1: touchdown of the day. I think you know he cut 1140 00:53:10,440 --> 00:53:12,919 Speaker 1: it back and was able to score. But I mean 1141 00:53:12,960 --> 00:53:16,000 Speaker 1: he's just a pro. He's you can always count unlock 1142 00:53:16,120 --> 00:53:18,680 Speaker 1: it Um to come through when you really need him, right, 1143 00:53:18,680 --> 00:53:20,480 Speaker 1: he stayed up a couple of times too big Rock. 1144 00:53:20,600 --> 00:53:22,319 Speaker 1: Yes it was a third down. I was yelling at 1145 00:53:22,360 --> 00:53:26,560 Speaker 1: him a touchdown right like You're like he's about to score, 1146 00:53:26,600 --> 00:53:28,400 Speaker 1: and you're still going like but get down, like you know, 1147 00:53:28,440 --> 00:53:30,240 Speaker 1: because you don't want to get killed. But not today. 1148 00:53:30,480 --> 00:53:32,239 Speaker 1: He did catch the ball a few times and turn 1149 00:53:32,280 --> 00:53:34,400 Speaker 1: it up. Phil got down the sideline a couple of times, 1150 00:53:34,560 --> 00:53:37,200 Speaker 1: you advanced the ball and still was able to protect himself. 1151 00:53:37,200 --> 00:53:39,319 Speaker 1: But man tied to Locke. To me, it's just it. 1152 00:53:40,200 --> 00:53:43,680 Speaker 1: I don't know much about the receiver position, but for 1153 00:53:43,719 --> 00:53:47,040 Speaker 1: a guy like him to be so small, but also 1154 00:53:47,480 --> 00:53:50,600 Speaker 1: like like Brian just saying, he just finds those those 1155 00:53:50,600 --> 00:53:53,080 Speaker 1: holes in the defense, and and and it's always in 1156 00:53:53,760 --> 00:53:57,040 Speaker 1: a moment when you need the catch, like you need 1157 00:53:57,080 --> 00:53:59,359 Speaker 1: the yardage. You know. It seems like he's a guy 1158 00:53:59,360 --> 00:54:02,000 Speaker 1: that just fun every single time. And the crazy thing 1159 00:54:02,080 --> 00:54:04,319 Speaker 1: is the quarterback knows that that's where you're gonna throw it. 1160 00:54:04,600 --> 00:54:07,040 Speaker 1: He knows he's gonna get it, and the defense knows 1161 00:54:07,040 --> 00:54:08,879 Speaker 1: he's gonna get it, and he still finds a way 1162 00:54:08,880 --> 00:54:11,160 Speaker 1: to get open and get the ball in advance to change. 1163 00:54:11,160 --> 00:54:13,960 Speaker 1: So dude is just pretty cool. Tyler Lockett one of 1164 00:54:13,960 --> 00:54:17,440 Speaker 1: the clutches receivers and Seahall history. You could say that 1165 00:54:17,520 --> 00:54:20,120 Speaker 1: right this is a big catches, But Tyler that longevity man. 1166 00:54:20,160 --> 00:54:22,080 Speaker 1: It's nice to see him. When we return, we're gonna 1167 00:54:22,120 --> 00:54:24,200 Speaker 1: hear from Tarik Woolling. He is at the podium that's 1168 00:54:24,239 --> 00:54:26,800 Speaker 1: coming up next on the Seahawks Radio network. Tarik Woolling 1169 00:54:26,880 --> 00:54:29,920 Speaker 1: had himself a day. He records his sixth interception. That 1170 00:54:30,080 --> 00:54:32,360 Speaker 1: is a rookie franchise record. He is at the podium 1171 00:54:32,440 --> 00:54:38,000 Speaker 1: right now. U s Well, it was a great call 1172 00:54:38,080 --> 00:54:40,879 Speaker 1: by the coaches and it was a cover three call, 1173 00:54:41,120 --> 00:54:43,200 Speaker 1: more of a true cover three muscle. We are matching 1174 00:54:43,200 --> 00:54:46,360 Speaker 1: with receivers and I just built into my zone and 1175 00:54:46,760 --> 00:54:48,920 Speaker 1: the running back wood into my zone. I kind of 1176 00:54:48,920 --> 00:54:51,800 Speaker 1: like baited it a little bit, and the quarterback through it, 1177 00:54:51,840 --> 00:54:54,439 Speaker 1: and I just went ahead and just picked the ball off. 1178 00:54:54,440 --> 00:54:56,319 Speaker 1: You know those type of balls really the d ones, 1179 00:54:56,360 --> 00:54:58,640 Speaker 1: I feel like those I really liked the most because 1180 00:54:58,760 --> 00:55:01,160 Speaker 1: when they come, they like they mind. So that was 1181 00:55:01,160 --> 00:55:03,600 Speaker 1: just another opportunity that was a gift and I just 1182 00:55:03,640 --> 00:55:05,879 Speaker 1: took it. And I was the sixth one, the first 1183 00:55:05,920 --> 00:55:07,960 Speaker 1: one that you got that she's already actually think the 1184 00:55:08,040 --> 00:55:13,120 Speaker 1: quarterback in Cotron, I feel like to a couple of 1185 00:55:13,120 --> 00:55:15,560 Speaker 1: them was like that. But I just used to ask 1186 00:55:15,640 --> 00:55:19,600 Speaker 1: my tactic, that's all you were on that play all? 1187 00:55:19,640 --> 00:55:21,960 Speaker 1: I mean, most time when it's a deep but I 1188 00:55:22,000 --> 00:55:23,759 Speaker 1: never feel like I'm gonna being you know. I just 1189 00:55:24,040 --> 00:55:27,000 Speaker 1: I learned that throughout the season and just from the 1190 00:55:27,040 --> 00:55:29,319 Speaker 1: film and with my coaches and teammates. You know, they 1191 00:55:29,360 --> 00:55:33,120 Speaker 1: just tell me certain things they see and I just 1192 00:55:33,160 --> 00:55:34,680 Speaker 1: want to go ahead and just trust, you know, my 1193 00:55:34,719 --> 00:55:37,239 Speaker 1: abilities and what I've seen on film and then so 1194 00:55:37,360 --> 00:55:39,719 Speaker 1: far has been helping. One of the one that I 1195 00:55:39,719 --> 00:55:47,560 Speaker 1: happened that you were a little bit a little bit, 1196 00:55:47,640 --> 00:55:50,080 Speaker 1: you know, the ones I've seen the quarterback looking that 1197 00:55:50,200 --> 00:55:51,800 Speaker 1: was just like, Okay, now I can speed up a 1198 00:55:51,800 --> 00:55:54,680 Speaker 1: little bit. But also I felt like if I played 1199 00:55:54,719 --> 00:55:56,680 Speaker 1: it a little bit more faster than maybe I could 1200 00:55:56,680 --> 00:55:58,920 Speaker 1: have got another in the sepation. But hey, I mean 1201 00:55:58,920 --> 00:56:01,000 Speaker 1: as long as I made the play into the touchdown, 1202 00:56:01,120 --> 00:56:03,520 Speaker 1: I ain't tripping. Did you get to the point in 1203 00:56:03,600 --> 00:56:05,799 Speaker 1: this league where you can you realize you can make 1204 00:56:05,880 --> 00:56:09,000 Speaker 1: up ground on balls and h I feel like it 1205 00:56:09,040 --> 00:56:13,919 Speaker 1: just started in practice and see all that Like just 1206 00:56:14,360 --> 00:56:17,440 Speaker 1: I like my teammates seen it, you know, more at 1207 00:56:17,440 --> 00:56:19,360 Speaker 1: the beginning then how I see. I always knew I 1208 00:56:19,440 --> 00:56:21,560 Speaker 1: was fast, but at the same time, if there's times 1209 00:56:21,560 --> 00:56:23,280 Speaker 1: on the field where you don't even need to be fast, 1210 00:56:23,400 --> 00:56:26,440 Speaker 1: and it was it was times like throughout the training counseling, 1211 00:56:26,520 --> 00:56:29,920 Speaker 1: rookie mini camp and all that OTAs, I'll showed flashes 1212 00:56:29,960 --> 00:56:31,920 Speaker 1: on film where I can break on the ball so 1213 00:56:31,960 --> 00:56:36,000 Speaker 1: fast or you know, transition with my speed. So I 1214 00:56:36,080 --> 00:56:38,640 Speaker 1: just felt like that was it right there. Andre talked 1215 00:56:38,640 --> 00:56:40,640 Speaker 1: about your run defense in this game. How much have 1216 00:56:40,680 --> 00:56:42,360 Speaker 1: you tried to improve that part of your game and 1217 00:56:42,480 --> 00:56:45,480 Speaker 1: just show the converst I tried to, you know, work 1218 00:56:45,480 --> 00:56:47,880 Speaker 1: on that a lot in college. I was a boundary corner. 1219 00:56:47,960 --> 00:56:49,880 Speaker 1: So every time I was in the boundary, you know, 1220 00:56:50,040 --> 00:56:52,319 Speaker 1: most teams were like, well, try to run it. And 1221 00:56:53,600 --> 00:56:55,640 Speaker 1: like now in the NFL, you know, since I'm just 1222 00:56:55,680 --> 00:56:58,520 Speaker 1: on the right side, teams are just okay, we're gonna 1223 00:56:58,560 --> 00:57:00,719 Speaker 1: use this run going this way. So I've just been 1224 00:57:00,760 --> 00:57:02,799 Speaker 1: trying to at least, you know, attack the edge and 1225 00:57:03,080 --> 00:57:05,600 Speaker 1: be more aggressive so that way you can help the 1226 00:57:05,760 --> 00:57:08,720 Speaker 1: you know, the d line, the linebackers into the safety. 1227 00:57:08,719 --> 00:57:11,080 Speaker 1: You know, it's all the trickle effects. So I've been 1228 00:57:11,120 --> 00:57:13,719 Speaker 1: trying to just do that because as it helps the 1229 00:57:13,800 --> 00:57:16,040 Speaker 1: team out, and that's all I've been trying to do. 1230 00:57:16,400 --> 00:57:18,400 Speaker 1: And as as much as team trying to run the 1231 00:57:18,440 --> 00:57:20,720 Speaker 1: ball versus us and they see it on film and 1232 00:57:20,760 --> 00:57:24,439 Speaker 1: stuff like that, it's just another way to show teams that, yeah, 1233 00:57:24,440 --> 00:57:26,439 Speaker 1: I'm in there trying to stop the run and yeah 1234 00:57:26,440 --> 00:57:28,680 Speaker 1: I'm out here. You know, don't run in my way 1235 00:57:28,720 --> 00:57:30,440 Speaker 1: the same way it don't pass it. So it's just 1236 00:57:30,520 --> 00:57:32,959 Speaker 1: something I've been working on. But I feel like today 1237 00:57:32,960 --> 00:57:34,960 Speaker 1: I did, you know, a better job, and I'm happy. 1238 00:57:35,280 --> 00:57:37,840 Speaker 1: You know, my teammates have been seeing me trying to 1239 00:57:37,840 --> 00:57:40,720 Speaker 1: improve on it. But it just feels good when your 1240 00:57:40,760 --> 00:57:43,480 Speaker 1: teammates see stuff and I know you can go do it, 1241 00:57:43,760 --> 00:57:45,520 Speaker 1: and you just can go out there and go do 1242 00:57:45,560 --> 00:57:57,400 Speaker 1: it and play play freely. Were the season serve interceptions? Man, 1243 00:57:57,720 --> 00:58:01,760 Speaker 1: I think it's a blessing. I remember on draft day 1244 00:58:02,040 --> 00:58:05,520 Speaker 1: just seeing like, uh, just like sending in the living 1245 00:58:05,600 --> 00:58:07,160 Speaker 1: room a little bit. I don't want to get to 1246 00:58:07,160 --> 00:58:11,440 Speaker 1: cool the motion, but I just remember sending the like 1247 00:58:11,520 --> 00:58:14,240 Speaker 1: the just in front of my family, just getting calls 1248 00:58:14,280 --> 00:58:16,720 Speaker 1: from different people, and I was just embarrassed because you know, 1249 00:58:16,800 --> 00:58:18,400 Speaker 1: I always think it was a team getting called. I 1250 00:58:18,400 --> 00:58:21,000 Speaker 1: was just hearing different stuff and I was just saying 1251 00:58:21,000 --> 00:58:23,560 Speaker 1: corners go, corners called, corners go, and I was just like, dang, 1252 00:58:23,600 --> 00:58:26,880 Speaker 1: So I'm just about to be here. And day three 1253 00:58:26,920 --> 00:58:29,360 Speaker 1: came and I met with the Seahawks at the combine, 1254 00:58:29,800 --> 00:58:32,160 Speaker 1: and whenever people used to when I told people I 1255 00:58:32,240 --> 00:58:33,760 Speaker 1: met with them, they're about all you going to the Seahawks, 1256 00:58:33,800 --> 00:58:35,919 Speaker 1: Going to the Seahawks, And I told them how it went, 1257 00:58:36,000 --> 00:58:38,680 Speaker 1: Like I remember walking in coach pe just starts smiling. 1258 00:58:39,880 --> 00:58:43,440 Speaker 1: Draft Day came and I just heard my name called Seahawks, 1259 00:58:43,920 --> 00:58:45,600 Speaker 1: and I really didn't need have to say much. I 1260 00:58:45,680 --> 00:58:47,640 Speaker 1: just was like, let's go. You know, I'm just happy 1261 00:58:47,680 --> 00:58:50,080 Speaker 1: to get my name called, and it's just a blessing, honestly, 1262 00:58:50,120 --> 00:58:52,520 Speaker 1: and I'm just happy. On here. Did you see? This 1263 00:58:52,560 --> 00:58:57,600 Speaker 1: is six receptions? I know on my I got a 1264 00:58:57,600 --> 00:59:01,960 Speaker 1: list of goes on my phone. I look at and shoot, you, uh, 1265 00:59:02,280 --> 00:59:04,560 Speaker 1: just one of my goals. You know, I passed one 1266 00:59:04,600 --> 00:59:07,000 Speaker 1: of them already, and I just got cold more to go. 1267 00:59:07,600 --> 00:59:10,640 Speaker 1: But I just had faith in myself, and I just 1268 00:59:10,800 --> 00:59:13,640 Speaker 1: want I just keep gaining confidence and just kept trusting 1269 00:59:13,640 --> 00:59:17,120 Speaker 1: myself and just gaining faith to my teammates and coaches. 1270 00:59:17,240 --> 00:59:19,200 Speaker 1: You know, that helps me play a lot better and 1271 00:59:19,200 --> 00:59:24,280 Speaker 1: then shows out on the fields. The energy. Sure, I 1272 00:59:24,280 --> 00:59:27,240 Speaker 1: was lit. I mean, I was just happy he called 1273 00:59:27,320 --> 00:59:29,680 Speaker 1: the ball because after that, you know, it was on 1274 00:59:29,840 --> 00:59:31,920 Speaker 1: like like thirty seconds level. Shoot, I knew he had 1275 00:59:31,960 --> 00:59:33,880 Speaker 1: to win. We had to go out and play some defense, 1276 00:59:33,920 --> 00:59:36,440 Speaker 1: and I was it. So when he caught that ball, 1277 00:59:36,560 --> 00:59:39,520 Speaker 1: I was happy and I looked up. I was teasing 1278 00:59:39,520 --> 00:59:41,400 Speaker 1: with him. I had looked up and I seen him 1279 00:59:41,400 --> 00:59:43,360 Speaker 1: in t lock had around the same amount of yards 1280 00:59:43,400 --> 00:59:45,400 Speaker 1: and then they had touchdown. I say, I should have 1281 00:59:45,440 --> 00:59:47,720 Speaker 1: put both y'all all my fantasy today, I just was 1282 00:59:47,760 --> 00:59:50,000 Speaker 1: like mess win. But I was just happy we got 1283 00:59:50,000 --> 00:59:53,040 Speaker 1: to win. Man, it felt good. One of the screens 1284 00:59:53,120 --> 00:59:57,960 Speaker 1: getting like watching him when the touchdown. Oh yeah, I 1285 00:59:58,040 --> 00:59:59,920 Speaker 1: had one in hand, walked down there. You know, it's 1286 01:00:00,000 --> 01:00:02,360 Speaker 1: basinally in those type of moments. You gotta watch those 1287 01:00:02,360 --> 01:00:08,160 Speaker 1: moments things which fool of you guys. No, not yet 1288 01:00:08,280 --> 01:00:09,680 Speaker 1: at the end of the season, I'll let you know, 1289 01:00:09,840 --> 01:00:13,680 Speaker 1: well not yet. Yeah, but the tackling shoulder now that 1290 01:00:14,440 --> 01:00:18,880 Speaker 1: form like oh yeah, oh yeah, yeah, I told you 1291 01:00:18,920 --> 01:00:22,040 Speaker 1: about that for sure. Now I just just trusting it 1292 01:00:22,120 --> 01:00:24,920 Speaker 1: take me. They always, you know, talk to me about tapping, 1293 01:00:25,040 --> 01:00:27,560 Speaker 1: tackling and just trusting your techniques. So I've been trying 1294 01:00:27,600 --> 01:00:30,000 Speaker 1: to trust it in at least just be aggressive and shoulder. 1295 01:00:30,080 --> 01:00:32,080 Speaker 1: I'm trying because they know that I'm out there putting 1296 01:00:32,080 --> 01:00:37,680 Speaker 1: their effort. Thanks Rack. That was Tariq Willing a ka 1297 01:00:38,080 --> 01:00:43,240 Speaker 1: t woo a k a rookie franchise record holder. When 1298 01:00:43,240 --> 01:00:48,240 Speaker 1: it comes to interceptions, Moyer's give me a little a 1299 01:00:48,280 --> 01:00:52,000 Speaker 1: little something something about t wool What makes them so special? Well, 1300 01:00:52,040 --> 01:00:53,720 Speaker 1: there's a lot to make them spect I think there's 1301 01:00:53,720 --> 01:00:57,200 Speaker 1: three Well, obviously a speed that's that's just without questioning. 1302 01:00:57,200 --> 01:00:59,080 Speaker 1: I mean, he can get beating he's so fasion. He 1303 01:00:59,160 --> 01:01:02,400 Speaker 1: can run the ball down. You don't see that very often. 1304 01:01:02,840 --> 01:01:05,480 Speaker 1: His length, you know, year six foot six or whatever 1305 01:01:05,520 --> 01:01:07,280 Speaker 1: his number is. I know it feels like he's six 1306 01:01:07,280 --> 01:01:10,520 Speaker 1: foot eleven, but he's six three sixty four. I mean, 1307 01:01:10,600 --> 01:01:13,320 Speaker 1: he's a really tall corner who can run. But I 1308 01:01:13,320 --> 01:01:15,600 Speaker 1: think it's just feel for the game. He's got so 1309 01:01:15,720 --> 01:01:18,600 Speaker 1: much to learn. I mean, just where the leverage, particularly 1310 01:01:18,600 --> 01:01:21,560 Speaker 1: in the running game, become a better tackler. Those efforts 1311 01:01:21,600 --> 01:01:25,800 Speaker 1: there just pattern recognition, things like that. He's gonna be 1312 01:01:25,920 --> 01:01:28,240 Speaker 1: so good. But when the ball's in the air and 1313 01:01:28,400 --> 01:01:31,600 Speaker 1: him reading the quarterback, man, that's special. So you take 1314 01:01:31,640 --> 01:01:33,920 Speaker 1: those three skill sets, you can make a lot of 1315 01:01:33,920 --> 01:01:36,480 Speaker 1: place if you can. You've just got a feel for 1316 01:01:36,520 --> 01:01:38,520 Speaker 1: the game, can read the quarterback. And then with his 1317 01:01:38,600 --> 01:01:41,920 Speaker 1: attributes six interceptions his rookie year, that says a lot. 1318 01:01:42,040 --> 01:01:44,480 Speaker 1: The thing I like about him and what they've been 1319 01:01:44,480 --> 01:01:46,600 Speaker 1: saying about all these rookies, man, it's just their approach 1320 01:01:46,640 --> 01:01:48,840 Speaker 1: to the game. Like he's like a sponge. Like you 1321 01:01:49,160 --> 01:01:51,680 Speaker 1: listen to him talk on every interview, he's talking about 1322 01:01:51,920 --> 01:01:53,720 Speaker 1: what the veterans are telling in him and what he's 1323 01:01:53,800 --> 01:01:56,200 Speaker 1: learning and what he's trying to do and he understands 1324 01:01:56,200 --> 01:01:58,680 Speaker 1: that that he doesn't have the answer. You know, the 1325 01:01:59,000 --> 01:02:02,440 Speaker 1: skills to everything mastered. But like how many times you 1326 01:02:02,440 --> 01:02:04,600 Speaker 1: just said, man, they you know, they're trying to run 1327 01:02:04,640 --> 01:02:06,880 Speaker 1: towards me. I'm gonna work on, you know, my technique 1328 01:02:06,880 --> 01:02:08,320 Speaker 1: and they tell me to trust a technique. IM gonna 1329 01:02:08,320 --> 01:02:10,880 Speaker 1: trust Like that's you know. Sometimes you can have the 1330 01:02:10,920 --> 01:02:13,120 Speaker 1: success that he has as a young person and you 1331 01:02:13,160 --> 01:02:16,280 Speaker 1: think you have all the answers, and like these guys, uh, 1332 01:02:16,400 --> 01:02:18,840 Speaker 1: this rookie class or these young dudes that have been planned, 1333 01:02:19,360 --> 01:02:21,560 Speaker 1: they don't seem they seem to still be in that 1334 01:02:21,680 --> 01:02:24,280 Speaker 1: kind of sponge mode. Whe they're still willing to listen 1335 01:02:24,280 --> 01:02:27,480 Speaker 1: and learn even though they're having some success. I love 1336 01:02:27,520 --> 01:02:31,360 Speaker 1: it rookies keep learning. Threek willing because congratulations on a 1337 01:02:31,400 --> 01:02:33,720 Speaker 1: great season so far. But he ain't done, king stop, 1338 01:02:33,960 --> 01:02:36,040 Speaker 1: won't stop. All right, we're time. We're gonna give you 1339 01:02:36,120 --> 01:02:38,000 Speaker 1: our player of the game that's coming up next to 1340 01:02:38,080 --> 01:02:40,600 Speaker 1: Seahawks get it done. In LA twenty seven twenty three, 1341 01:02:40,880 --> 01:02:44,200 Speaker 1: d J. Dowis in the backfield, Gino from the Shotgun 1342 01:02:44,560 --> 01:02:46,520 Speaker 1: has time, looks is gonna throw him a back corner 1343 01:02:46,560 --> 01:02:53,400 Speaker 1: wide open, touchdown Seahawks no offense, and he's gonna run them, 1344 01:02:53,400 --> 01:02:56,400 Speaker 1: slap high fives with all the twelves who were in 1345 01:02:56,440 --> 01:03:00,600 Speaker 1: the end zone suites that are normally populated by RAM fans, 1346 01:03:01,120 --> 01:03:03,640 Speaker 1: but they are all gone today and they're filled with 1347 01:03:03,680 --> 01:03:07,080 Speaker 1: the twelves and they are celebrating in the Seahawks take 1348 01:03:07,120 --> 01:03:11,520 Speaker 1: a thirteen to ten league no offense score a touchdown today. 1349 01:03:11,560 --> 01:03:13,640 Speaker 1: He had four catches for forty two yards. It is 1350 01:03:13,680 --> 01:03:15,800 Speaker 1: time for Player of the Game. The Player of the 1351 01:03:15,840 --> 01:03:17,880 Speaker 1: Game is brought to you by the Tell You Ride 1352 01:03:18,040 --> 01:03:21,960 Speaker 1: xpro from Kia, official partner of the Seattle Seahawks. I 1353 01:03:22,000 --> 01:03:24,080 Speaker 1: feel like we got some options right. We got guys 1354 01:03:24,080 --> 01:03:26,600 Speaker 1: who've done some things that they haven't done before. We 1355 01:03:26,680 --> 01:03:30,200 Speaker 1: got guys setting franchise records. We got guys climbing ladders 1356 01:03:30,240 --> 01:03:33,840 Speaker 1: on lists several places we can go. I'm interested to 1357 01:03:33,960 --> 01:03:36,840 Speaker 1: hear what you guys have to say. We're gonna start 1358 01:03:36,880 --> 01:03:40,920 Speaker 1: with the Ivy League man himself be Walt like it. 1359 01:03:41,240 --> 01:03:43,760 Speaker 1: You know, I gotta take the easy, easy road here, 1360 01:03:43,840 --> 01:03:46,440 Speaker 1: and you gotta go with Gino. In my opinion, this 1361 01:03:46,560 --> 01:03:48,520 Speaker 1: is uh. He had the whole team on his back 1362 01:03:49,200 --> 01:03:52,400 Speaker 1: when a game that defense didn't perform all that you'd 1363 01:03:52,440 --> 01:03:55,440 Speaker 1: liked him to the running backs, you know that a 1364 01:03:55,520 --> 01:03:58,400 Speaker 1: lot of injuries are running back, right, And it was like, Gino, 1365 01:03:58,480 --> 01:04:00,560 Speaker 1: you got us here and we're gonna we're gonna rely 1366 01:04:00,640 --> 01:04:02,760 Speaker 1: on your arm to get this done. And he did. 1367 01:04:02,840 --> 01:04:04,600 Speaker 1: I mean, what do you have? Three hundred and sixty 1368 01:04:04,600 --> 01:04:07,640 Speaker 1: seven yards? And um, finally you know the game winning 1369 01:04:07,760 --> 01:04:11,120 Speaker 1: drive that everyone's been looking for. And so I mean 1370 01:04:11,240 --> 01:04:14,600 Speaker 1: there should be no more questions about Gino, you know, 1371 01:04:14,680 --> 01:04:16,600 Speaker 1: I mean, no one should sit there and say, hey, 1372 01:04:16,600 --> 01:04:18,280 Speaker 1: are you surprised you did this? Are you surprised he 1373 01:04:18,320 --> 01:04:20,320 Speaker 1: did that? Because the answers no. I mean he's got 1374 01:04:20,400 --> 01:04:24,440 Speaker 1: he's earned it from his team and uh, everyone in 1375 01:04:24,480 --> 01:04:27,240 Speaker 1: that locker room trusts him and he's the guy and 1376 01:04:27,960 --> 01:04:30,240 Speaker 1: if something goes wrong, he'll take blame. But man, he's 1377 01:04:30,520 --> 01:04:32,200 Speaker 1: he's better than most of the quarterbacks out there, and 1378 01:04:32,240 --> 01:04:34,880 Speaker 1: we need to start buying that. Are we got one 1379 01:04:34,960 --> 01:04:38,640 Speaker 1: for Geno turbue Lenz? Well you got yeah. I'm going 1380 01:04:38,680 --> 01:04:41,240 Speaker 1: to be wall on this. Geno Smith certainly the MVP. 1381 01:04:41,440 --> 01:04:44,480 Speaker 1: I think it's clear a lot of great performances today 1382 01:04:44,560 --> 01:04:46,840 Speaker 1: from from our team. Um, you know, both on on 1383 01:04:46,880 --> 01:04:48,560 Speaker 1: the offensive side of the ball and the defensive side 1384 01:04:48,560 --> 01:04:50,640 Speaker 1: of the ball. But you know, when we had to 1385 01:04:50,680 --> 01:04:53,640 Speaker 1: have it, you know, Gino came through uh and uh 1386 01:04:53,720 --> 01:04:57,240 Speaker 1: and in the most pressure, you know, the most I 1387 01:04:57,280 --> 01:04:59,840 Speaker 1: guess critical moment of the game, when the pressure was 1388 01:04:59,880 --> 01:05:01,880 Speaker 1: that it's highest. You know, he came doing the clutch 1389 01:05:01,880 --> 01:05:03,840 Speaker 1: and was able to drive us down the field and 1390 01:05:03,920 --> 01:05:05,720 Speaker 1: you know and essentially get to win. Man. And he's 1391 01:05:05,720 --> 01:05:08,160 Speaker 1: been a leader of all season long, held himself accountable 1392 01:05:08,440 --> 01:05:10,680 Speaker 1: all his postgame pressures. I mean, he's been spot on 1393 01:05:11,520 --> 01:05:15,880 Speaker 1: clear MVP for me today. All right, big ray, Uh, Well, 1394 01:05:15,920 --> 01:05:18,960 Speaker 1: I was gonna pull a turbo and say Bobby Wagner 1395 01:05:19,320 --> 01:05:21,960 Speaker 1: he has seven tackles and two sacks and attack for 1396 01:05:22,120 --> 01:05:25,439 Speaker 1: laws and interception. But you know, Jordan Brooks had nine 1397 01:05:25,440 --> 01:05:29,200 Speaker 1: tackles in the sack, Turk Willing had seven tackles a 1398 01:05:29,440 --> 01:05:33,440 Speaker 1: three pass defensive interception who also had two sacks. You know, 1399 01:05:33,520 --> 01:05:36,160 Speaker 1: both receivers were over a hundred yards. Mister d Kate 1400 01:05:36,280 --> 01:05:39,400 Speaker 1: Metcalf called the game winning touchdown. But I'm just i'ming 1401 01:05:39,440 --> 01:05:42,280 Speaker 1: with these other guys man like Gino, Uh really kind 1402 01:05:42,280 --> 01:05:45,040 Speaker 1: of kept the ship steady today, you know, with the 1403 01:05:45,120 --> 01:05:47,120 Speaker 1: running back situation and knowing that they're gonna have to 1404 01:05:47,160 --> 01:05:49,480 Speaker 1: rely on his arm and then uh to kind of 1405 01:05:49,840 --> 01:05:52,120 Speaker 1: um you know, kind of silence some of the noise 1406 01:05:52,160 --> 01:05:56,160 Speaker 1: around his ability to to conduct a game winning drive 1407 01:05:56,200 --> 01:05:58,160 Speaker 1: and so he's able to do that and get the victory, 1408 01:05:58,600 --> 01:06:00,440 Speaker 1: uh security victory for the Seas. So I'm gonna go 1409 01:06:00,440 --> 01:06:03,800 Speaker 1: with Gino as well. All right, we got one, two three, 1410 01:06:03,840 --> 01:06:08,280 Speaker 1: are we going to the foe? Yeah, there's no question. Um, 1411 01:06:08,840 --> 01:06:10,960 Speaker 1: you know, I think all the stuff today's talked about, 1412 01:06:10,960 --> 01:06:13,000 Speaker 1: I think you know, one, you lose your running game. 1413 01:06:13,120 --> 01:06:15,040 Speaker 1: I mean, so now it's on you and you're you're 1414 01:06:15,040 --> 01:06:17,760 Speaker 1: going against the Rams, who are good defense. Obviously they 1415 01:06:17,760 --> 01:06:21,320 Speaker 1: didn't have Aaron Donald, but their secondaries fantastic. And I 1416 01:06:22,040 --> 01:06:26,120 Speaker 1: was on social media here and there's still people dogging Gino. 1417 01:06:26,280 --> 01:06:28,880 Speaker 1: Come on, like we need a quarterback and he does 1418 01:06:28,920 --> 01:06:31,320 Speaker 1: this and that, and I'm going stop it for a second. 1419 01:06:31,560 --> 01:06:33,720 Speaker 1: Let's just talk about this for a second. He's number 1420 01:06:33,720 --> 01:06:36,640 Speaker 1: one in the NFL seventy three percent completion. There's no 1421 01:06:36,680 --> 01:06:40,080 Speaker 1: other quarterback now that's completing seventy percent but him. So 1422 01:06:40,200 --> 01:06:42,959 Speaker 1: it's it's a pretty big spread there. He's number two 1423 01:06:42,960 --> 01:06:45,560 Speaker 1: in quarterback rating with one hundred and eight. He's behind 1424 01:06:45,600 --> 01:06:47,600 Speaker 1: two on that one and two. I didn't have as 1425 01:06:47,600 --> 01:06:50,280 Speaker 1: good a game, but Twoad doesn't have quite as many 1426 01:06:50,280 --> 01:06:53,439 Speaker 1: opportunities either. We'll see where that that squeezes down. He's 1427 01:06:53,520 --> 01:06:56,520 Speaker 1: number five in yards in yards per attempt at seven 1428 01:06:56,560 --> 01:06:58,480 Speaker 1: point nine, so it's not like he's dinking and Duncan 1429 01:06:58,560 --> 01:07:00,600 Speaker 1: with his seventy three percent, and that's something that people 1430 01:07:00,640 --> 01:07:03,640 Speaker 1: need to be really talking about. He's fifth in tds. 1431 01:07:04,000 --> 01:07:06,479 Speaker 1: Now the guys ahead of him, Patrick Mahomes is thrown 1432 01:07:07,000 --> 01:07:11,320 Speaker 1: ninety more, passes Josh Allen ninety more, passes Joe Burrow 1433 01:07:11,360 --> 01:07:13,840 Speaker 1: over fifty more, and then you got Aaron Rodgers about 1434 01:07:13,880 --> 01:07:18,880 Speaker 1: forty more. Okay, So, and his TD to interception ratio 1435 01:07:19,240 --> 01:07:21,760 Speaker 1: is four to one. That's the best in the NFL 1436 01:07:21,840 --> 01:07:23,840 Speaker 1: other than two to two is at nineteen to three, 1437 01:07:23,880 --> 01:07:26,400 Speaker 1: where he's at nineteen to five. So it's just a 1438 01:07:26,480 --> 01:07:31,080 Speaker 1: shade below four to one. There's nothing in here. He's mobile. 1439 01:07:31,720 --> 01:07:34,240 Speaker 1: He bails out as our offensive line a lot, and 1440 01:07:34,280 --> 01:07:37,200 Speaker 1: I'm not trying to discourage the offensive line, but he's 1441 01:07:37,280 --> 01:07:40,360 Speaker 1: that good. I don't get it. Somebody said, well, we 1442 01:07:40,400 --> 01:07:43,520 Speaker 1: got a draft quarterback next year. No, no, no, no, 1443 01:07:43,600 --> 01:07:46,360 Speaker 1: we don't like there's not a quarterback coming out of 1444 01:07:46,360 --> 01:07:48,680 Speaker 1: the draft next year could beat him out for three 1445 01:07:48,720 --> 01:07:51,920 Speaker 1: to five years. That's not happening. So let's put this 1446 01:07:52,000 --> 01:07:55,880 Speaker 1: to bed. He's our MVP. Congratulations on he's led us 1447 01:07:55,960 --> 01:07:59,200 Speaker 1: to going ahead in the fourth quarter. We've just given 1448 01:07:59,480 --> 01:08:02,080 Speaker 1: that up last week. So it's not like he should 1449 01:08:02,080 --> 01:08:05,520 Speaker 1: have had another come from behind victory before today. But 1450 01:08:06,120 --> 01:08:09,600 Speaker 1: he's everything and then some for us at QB right now, Well, 1451 01:08:09,840 --> 01:08:13,280 Speaker 1: it's unanimous. Is the first time this year is unanimous? 1452 01:08:13,320 --> 01:08:17,040 Speaker 1: The MVP is Gino Smith, say twelves. Now it's your 1453 01:08:17,160 --> 01:08:19,439 Speaker 1: chance to weigh him. Follow the Seahawks on Twitter and 1454 01:08:19,479 --> 01:08:22,280 Speaker 1: Instagram to vote for Kia's Electric Player of the Game. 1455 01:08:22,479 --> 01:08:25,240 Speaker 1: I hope you vote for Gino. Showed this man some love, 1456 01:08:25,520 --> 01:08:28,280 Speaker 1: all right. When we return, we'll look forward to next 1457 01:08:28,320 --> 01:08:30,880 Speaker 1: week's opponent, the Carolina Panthers. Asked coming up next on 1458 01:08:30,920 --> 01:08:35,400 Speaker 1: the Seahawks Radio network. Three receivers right side, DK Metcalf 1459 01:08:35,800 --> 01:08:39,759 Speaker 1: to the left with Jalen Ramsey on him. Gino takes 1460 01:08:39,800 --> 01:08:42,360 Speaker 1: the snap four man rush, but a half roll throws 1461 01:08:42,400 --> 01:08:47,160 Speaker 1: back inside, ritching out backing a catch put down. Stayhawks, 1462 01:08:48,320 --> 01:08:53,960 Speaker 1: are you kidding me. NFDK metcalf Ramty was all over him. 1463 01:08:54,200 --> 01:08:57,360 Speaker 1: DK put some big myths up and says that ball 1464 01:08:57,520 --> 01:09:02,680 Speaker 1: is mine and the Seahawks takefully twenty six twenty three. 1465 01:09:02,800 --> 01:09:06,920 Speaker 1: What a dark thrown by Geno Smith. The Call of 1466 01:09:06,920 --> 01:09:08,960 Speaker 1: the game is brought to you by Beacon Plumb and 1467 01:09:09,040 --> 01:09:12,160 Speaker 1: stop freaking call Beacon. You guys want to hear one 1468 01:09:12,160 --> 01:09:14,880 Speaker 1: of the most disrespectful stats our producer just handed me 1469 01:09:15,000 --> 01:09:19,080 Speaker 1: right now, so disrespectful. The Seahawks are now tied for 1470 01:09:19,120 --> 01:09:22,320 Speaker 1: the most wins at SOFI Stadium this year. The Hawks 1471 01:09:22,320 --> 01:09:26,960 Speaker 1: have too, the Rams have two, and the Chargers have too. Disrespectful. 1472 01:09:27,040 --> 01:09:30,760 Speaker 1: That's via John Boyle. So John Boyle passed disrespect to 1473 01:09:30,840 --> 01:09:32,640 Speaker 1: nas Nash, pass it to me. I give it to 1474 01:09:32,680 --> 01:09:35,840 Speaker 1: you guys, all right, but um, yeah, so they've they've 1475 01:09:35,880 --> 01:09:38,000 Speaker 1: gone out in LA and won just as much as 1476 01:09:38,000 --> 01:09:40,519 Speaker 1: the home teas of one in that stadium. Let's hope 1477 01:09:40,560 --> 01:09:46,200 Speaker 1: my coogs winning that stadium. December seventeenth, they were playing 1478 01:09:46,240 --> 01:09:49,960 Speaker 1: boys the stay Fresnal State. Now we'll see, we'll see 1479 01:09:49,960 --> 01:09:53,360 Speaker 1: we got a shot. Thanks, thanks coach. All right, let's 1480 01:09:53,360 --> 01:09:55,439 Speaker 1: look forward to these Carolina Panthers. You know what they 1481 01:09:55,520 --> 01:09:57,879 Speaker 1: did for us today? Paul Moyer? What did these Panthers 1482 01:09:57,920 --> 01:10:01,639 Speaker 1: do for Seahawk fans all across the nation today? They 1483 01:10:01,640 --> 01:10:06,040 Speaker 1: had to buy? What are you talking about? Oh, I'm like, 1484 01:10:07,960 --> 01:10:11,679 Speaker 1: I'm like, honestly, I'm looking at the wrong score getting 1485 01:10:11,720 --> 01:10:16,320 Speaker 1: this gracious. I am beat Denver a week ago. You 1486 01:10:16,400 --> 01:10:17,920 Speaker 1: know what I do? Hey, I pump act and I 1487 01:10:17,960 --> 01:10:20,840 Speaker 1: pass it to the left. Bloyer, Uh, tell me about 1488 01:10:20,840 --> 01:10:26,280 Speaker 1: these Panthers. Man the whistle for traveling on that one. 1489 01:10:26,320 --> 01:10:32,080 Speaker 1: But um, we're already on the Panthers. Someone to help me, 1490 01:10:36,240 --> 01:10:40,080 Speaker 1: No Panthers. Panthers present a good challenge. Um, No they don't. No, no, 1491 01:10:40,160 --> 01:10:42,200 Speaker 1: they do. They got a good defense. Brian Burns is 1492 01:10:42,520 --> 01:10:44,360 Speaker 1: one of their guys on the defensive side of the ball, 1493 01:10:44,360 --> 01:10:48,160 Speaker 1: a defensive man who has been you know, uh, done 1494 01:10:48,160 --> 01:10:50,200 Speaker 1: a pretty good job getting to the backfield and called 1495 01:10:50,240 --> 01:10:52,960 Speaker 1: them some havoc and in the pocket and you know, 1496 01:10:53,040 --> 01:10:55,240 Speaker 1: getting some hands on the quarterback and some sacks. He's 1497 01:10:55,240 --> 01:10:57,120 Speaker 1: a young football player, you know, it's got a lot 1498 01:10:57,120 --> 01:10:59,760 Speaker 1: of potential in front of him. You know. Obviously, the 1499 01:10:59,800 --> 01:11:02,719 Speaker 1: big question mark about the Panthers is what they're gonna 1500 01:11:02,720 --> 01:11:05,760 Speaker 1: do at the quarterback position. Sam Darnold started that last 1501 01:11:05,760 --> 01:11:07,599 Speaker 1: game that they had before they're by a week against 1502 01:11:07,640 --> 01:11:11,360 Speaker 1: the Denver Broncos, and you know, play well, out played Russell, 1503 01:11:11,479 --> 01:11:14,200 Speaker 1: you know what I mean. Who hasn't exactly you know, 1504 01:11:14,240 --> 01:11:16,519 Speaker 1: that hasn't been anything new this season unfortunately for the 1505 01:11:16,520 --> 01:11:19,960 Speaker 1: Denver Broncos. But so there's you know, if anything, they're 1506 01:11:20,000 --> 01:11:22,599 Speaker 1: trying to figure that out, you know. But they do 1507 01:11:22,680 --> 01:11:24,840 Speaker 1: have a rising defense that I think has a pretty 1508 01:11:24,880 --> 01:11:27,439 Speaker 1: bright future. So they present a tough challenge for us. 1509 01:11:27,520 --> 01:11:30,120 Speaker 1: They do, they do an okay job, but it's about 1510 01:11:30,120 --> 01:11:33,960 Speaker 1: the quarterback position, identifying what that's gonna look like for 1511 01:11:34,000 --> 01:11:38,320 Speaker 1: the future for them, you know, personally, you know, Unfortunately, 1512 01:11:38,360 --> 01:11:40,200 Speaker 1: the young rookie that they drafted, I think his name 1513 01:11:40,240 --> 01:11:44,000 Speaker 1: is Matt Quarrel. Yeah, yeah, he got injured early in 1514 01:11:44,040 --> 01:11:47,040 Speaker 1: the season, out for the year. Maybe he's the future, 1515 01:11:47,080 --> 01:11:50,400 Speaker 1: maybe not. Coaching is another big question mark for them, 1516 01:11:50,400 --> 01:11:53,280 Speaker 1: but obviously Steve Wilkes has you know, stepped in and 1517 01:11:53,680 --> 01:11:56,639 Speaker 1: done a pretty decent job. So they present a nice 1518 01:11:56,680 --> 01:11:59,040 Speaker 1: challenge for us. You know, who has their highest quarterback 1519 01:11:59,200 --> 01:12:02,320 Speaker 1: completion personage on our team right now? P J. Walker, 1520 01:12:02,560 --> 01:12:07,760 Speaker 1: Jacob Eason? Oh at really, Jacob, None of Their other 1521 01:12:07,840 --> 01:12:12,160 Speaker 1: quarterbacks are about sixty which again brings back to Gino. 1522 01:12:12,240 --> 01:12:15,800 Speaker 1: To me, I go, he's completing seventy three percent of 1523 01:12:15,800 --> 01:12:19,080 Speaker 1: his passes. These guys are averaging six point seven yards 1524 01:12:19,120 --> 01:12:22,479 Speaker 1: per attempt, Gino at seven point nine. Again, just there's 1525 01:12:22,479 --> 01:12:25,679 Speaker 1: so many impressive things, Like they don't have Christian McCaffrey anymore. 1526 01:12:25,840 --> 01:12:30,400 Speaker 1: You know they're we'll see as we study film. We 1527 01:12:30,439 --> 01:12:32,759 Speaker 1: already know this. I mean, we lost to the Raiders 1528 01:12:32,840 --> 01:12:35,559 Speaker 1: last week, we almost lost the Rams this week. We 1529 01:12:35,720 --> 01:12:37,599 Speaker 1: have to play well. We're not good enough to just 1530 01:12:37,640 --> 01:12:39,760 Speaker 1: go out and show up and win a game, even 1531 01:12:39,800 --> 01:12:43,280 Speaker 1: at home. So you're right there. They they'll give us 1532 01:12:43,280 --> 01:12:45,519 Speaker 1: a challenge. It's a game that we'll have the better 1533 01:12:45,600 --> 01:12:48,400 Speaker 1: quarterback and the better team. It's a game we should win. Yeah. 1534 01:12:48,520 --> 01:12:51,120 Speaker 1: Another cool thing to watch is uh three at the 1535 01:12:51,200 --> 01:12:54,719 Speaker 1: top new five or six offensive tackles in the draft 1536 01:12:54,760 --> 01:12:56,839 Speaker 1: last year will be in this game because they're starting 1537 01:12:57,360 --> 01:13:00,960 Speaker 1: left tackle uh ikuanu Is. He was like the number 1538 01:13:01,000 --> 01:13:03,720 Speaker 1: one rated tackle coming out in the draft last year. 1539 01:13:03,840 --> 01:13:05,679 Speaker 1: I think he's maybe giving up three or four sacks 1540 01:13:05,720 --> 01:13:08,000 Speaker 1: out of NC State. Uh And so it'll be kind 1541 01:13:08,000 --> 01:13:10,840 Speaker 1: of cool to see another rookie tackle and seeing how, 1542 01:13:10,880 --> 01:13:13,200 Speaker 1: you know, how we attack him and how these guys 1543 01:13:13,280 --> 01:13:15,000 Speaker 1: kind of uh, you know, if there's any kind of 1544 01:13:15,040 --> 01:13:18,599 Speaker 1: pride in the who out plays who in this game. 1545 01:13:18,640 --> 01:13:21,360 Speaker 1: But you know, being from North Carolina and just hearing 1546 01:13:21,360 --> 01:13:23,200 Speaker 1: what some of my family is saying and stuff back there, 1547 01:13:23,280 --> 01:13:26,840 Speaker 1: the team and just the national scene that this is 1548 01:13:26,880 --> 01:13:29,400 Speaker 1: a team that, uh, you don't want to give them 1549 01:13:29,439 --> 01:13:32,120 Speaker 1: any kind of life at all, because if you do, 1550 01:13:32,680 --> 01:13:35,160 Speaker 1: then it really does become a dog fight. But if 1551 01:13:35,200 --> 01:13:37,040 Speaker 1: you can, if you can get up on them early, 1552 01:13:37,520 --> 01:13:41,519 Speaker 1: and you know, even that organization, their their bags are packed. 1553 01:13:41,520 --> 01:13:44,160 Speaker 1: Bro Like, they don't have a quarterback, they've got rid 1554 01:13:44,200 --> 01:13:46,840 Speaker 1: of their traded away, their best player. You know, they're 1555 01:13:46,880 --> 01:13:49,639 Speaker 1: they're doing some some things on defense, and obviously dudes 1556 01:13:49,680 --> 01:13:52,439 Speaker 1: are going to compete. But uh, but this is one 1557 01:13:52,479 --> 01:13:57,400 Speaker 1: of those. Uh, today could have been a get right game. 1558 01:13:57,680 --> 01:14:00,680 Speaker 1: I think it was a get better game, but this 1559 01:14:00,720 --> 01:14:02,800 Speaker 1: could be a This could really truly be a get 1560 01:14:02,880 --> 01:14:05,519 Speaker 1: right game for this team hadn't done stretch. Yeah, I 1561 01:14:05,520 --> 01:14:07,840 Speaker 1: mean the Panthers are for sure rebuilding, getting rid of 1562 01:14:07,920 --> 01:14:11,040 Speaker 1: McCaffrey and Robbie Anderson. You know, we saw whatever happened 1563 01:14:11,040 --> 01:14:13,479 Speaker 1: earlier in the season with him, they got rid of them. 1564 01:14:13,520 --> 01:14:15,599 Speaker 1: You don't know if it's you know, Baker or Darnald 1565 01:14:15,680 --> 01:14:19,040 Speaker 1: or PJ. Walkers taking quarterback. The one thing they do 1566 01:14:19,120 --> 01:14:22,040 Speaker 1: have going for him is Steve Wilkes, their interim head coach. Um. 1567 01:14:22,280 --> 01:14:23,600 Speaker 1: You know, I was able to spend some time with 1568 01:14:23,640 --> 01:14:25,280 Speaker 1: him in San Diego, and man, he's gonna have these 1569 01:14:25,280 --> 01:14:27,760 Speaker 1: guys motivated. A lot of young guys stepping up, and 1570 01:14:28,040 --> 01:14:30,400 Speaker 1: that's the scary thing sometimes, but it is a must win. 1571 01:14:31,720 --> 01:14:33,960 Speaker 1: It's a lot like this Rams game. But when you 1572 01:14:34,000 --> 01:14:36,200 Speaker 1: look at their game against Denver, the thing that should 1573 01:14:36,240 --> 01:14:39,160 Speaker 1: scare Seahawk fans is they ran the ball forty six 1574 01:14:39,240 --> 01:14:44,479 Speaker 1: times to nineteen passes. So stopping the run next week crucial, crucial. 1575 01:14:44,520 --> 01:14:46,240 Speaker 1: I like it all. Let's Paul's ten seconds to give 1576 01:14:46,240 --> 01:14:48,680 Speaker 1: our network stations a chance to identify themselves. For Ray Roberts, Paul Moyer, 1590 01:15:33,840 --> 01:15:36,280 Speaker 1: Robert Turbin, and Brian Waltters. I'm Michael Bumpings. Seahawks win 1591 01:15:36,400 --> 01:15:38,599 Speaker 1: twenty seven twenty three over the Rams. Talk to you 1592 01:15:38,600 --> 01:15:41,400 Speaker 1: next week. Welcome to Hawk Talk. I'm Michael Bumps with 1593 01:15:41,479 --> 01:15:47,200 Speaker 1: Brian Raws, Walters, Ray Roberts, Turbo what did it do? 1594 01:15:47,520 --> 01:15:50,960 Speaker 1: And our guy Paul Moy aka Paul Moyer. The Seahawks 1595 01:15:51,000 --> 01:15:52,640 Speaker 1: go to LA and they get it done. They have 1596 01:15:52,760 --> 01:15:55,519 Speaker 1: now won are tied for the most wins in SOFI Stadium, 1597 01:15:55,520 --> 01:15:57,960 Speaker 1: so disrespectful. They've won two games there. The Rams have 1598 01:15:58,040 --> 01:16:01,160 Speaker 1: one two and the Chargers have won two. So pretty much, man, 1599 01:16:01,200 --> 01:16:04,240 Speaker 1: we're we got part ownership of the stadium down there 1600 01:16:04,320 --> 01:16:08,200 Speaker 1: right now, maybe even better because we haven't lost they've 1601 01:16:08,280 --> 01:16:11,680 Speaker 1: got loss of so our percentage is better. So I 1602 01:16:11,880 --> 01:16:13,960 Speaker 1: know one thing. Our crowd was louder than they were 1603 01:16:14,000 --> 01:16:17,200 Speaker 1: today as usual. That's what really goes down. Whenever the 1604 01:16:17,240 --> 01:16:19,679 Speaker 1: Hawks travel to LA or anywhere in the West Coast, 1605 01:16:19,720 --> 01:16:21,680 Speaker 1: you know that the twelves are gonna show up. And 1606 01:16:21,720 --> 01:16:24,400 Speaker 1: they showed up for a good reason. Gino had himself 1607 01:16:24,640 --> 01:16:27,800 Speaker 1: a signature drive, his signature moment to get some of 1608 01:16:27,800 --> 01:16:29,920 Speaker 1: these haters off his back and saying he cannot win 1609 01:16:29,960 --> 01:16:33,040 Speaker 1: a game. On the last drive, he did exactly that. Overall, 1610 01:16:33,080 --> 01:16:35,240 Speaker 1: he was twenty eight at thirty nine, three to sixty seven, 1611 01:16:35,400 --> 01:16:39,040 Speaker 1: three touchdowns, one interceptions. Our number one A and number 1612 01:16:39,040 --> 01:16:41,920 Speaker 1: one B receiver both went off today. Tyler had nine 1613 01:16:43,080 --> 01:16:45,599 Speaker 1: eight and a touchdown. DK had eight for one twenty 1614 01:16:45,640 --> 01:16:48,960 Speaker 1: seven and a touchdown. No offense also contributed with a touchdown. 1615 01:16:49,120 --> 01:16:51,680 Speaker 1: The running game is still a bit shaky now. I 1616 01:16:51,720 --> 01:16:53,920 Speaker 1: feel like this week there's more reason for this game 1617 01:16:53,960 --> 01:16:56,439 Speaker 1: to be shaky because you lose Kenneth Walker early than 1618 01:16:56,520 --> 01:16:58,880 Speaker 1: DJ Dallas goes out with an ankle injury. Now you 1619 01:16:59,000 --> 01:17:02,800 Speaker 1: got your third string guy, Tony Jones Junior steps in. 1620 01:17:03,120 --> 01:17:06,000 Speaker 1: It was serviceable, had a couple decent runs there, but 1621 01:17:06,040 --> 01:17:08,200 Speaker 1: the run game struggled a little bit. On the other side, 1622 01:17:08,240 --> 01:17:10,400 Speaker 1: the Rams were able to get the run going once again, 1623 01:17:10,439 --> 01:17:13,080 Speaker 1: but as Ray pointed out in the postgame show, that 1624 01:17:13,040 --> 01:17:16,320 Speaker 1: a little a lot of these runs were bootlegs and 1625 01:17:16,600 --> 01:17:19,519 Speaker 1: jet sweeps. If you take away those the bootlegs into jets. 1626 01:17:19,520 --> 01:17:21,960 Speaker 1: Sweet what you say around one hundred and twenty four, well, 1627 01:17:22,000 --> 01:17:24,280 Speaker 1: seventy four yards all right, about seventy four yards rush? 1628 01:17:24,320 --> 01:17:27,519 Speaker 1: And if you take that away overall the Seahawks show 1629 01:17:27,600 --> 01:17:29,639 Speaker 1: up and they get it done. It wasn't as easy 1630 01:17:29,680 --> 01:17:31,479 Speaker 1: as I thought it was gonna be. What they got 1631 01:17:31,560 --> 01:17:34,519 Speaker 1: it done. Well yea, you know again, I not to 1632 01:17:34,520 --> 01:17:36,960 Speaker 1: shoot my horn, but I well, because you guys always 1633 01:17:36,960 --> 01:17:40,880 Speaker 1: wish me good luck on the predictions. But I thought 1634 01:17:40,920 --> 01:17:42,880 Speaker 1: it was gonna be a tough game. I thought Bobby 1635 01:17:42,920 --> 01:17:44,960 Speaker 1: Wagner was gonna be emotional. I thought he would bring 1636 01:17:44,960 --> 01:17:46,519 Speaker 1: that with him, and I think he's such a great 1637 01:17:46,600 --> 01:17:48,720 Speaker 1: leader that they wanted to win that game for him. 1638 01:17:49,439 --> 01:17:51,519 Speaker 1: Where you know, when you haven't played well the last 1639 01:17:51,520 --> 01:17:54,160 Speaker 1: two weeks. You know, it just it doesn't just all sadden, Well, 1640 01:17:54,240 --> 01:17:57,200 Speaker 1: we're playing great today. You take little baby steps. This 1641 01:17:57,240 --> 01:17:58,720 Speaker 1: is a baby step to me, and you just find 1642 01:17:58,800 --> 01:18:00,720 Speaker 1: a way to win it. So but I did. I 1643 01:18:00,760 --> 01:18:02,280 Speaker 1: thought we'd went it in a fourth quarter because I 1644 01:18:02,320 --> 01:18:05,240 Speaker 1: thought we were a better team. Geno Smith just continues 1645 01:18:05,280 --> 01:18:07,599 Speaker 1: to be great. But the bummer about it is they 1646 01:18:07,680 --> 01:18:10,000 Speaker 1: came out running the ball. I mean, Walker pops at 1647 01:18:10,080 --> 01:18:12,840 Speaker 1: thirty yard run right off the bat and he was 1648 01:18:12,920 --> 01:18:15,439 Speaker 1: three for thirty six before he goes out. He's average 1649 01:18:15,439 --> 01:18:18,639 Speaker 1: in twelve yards per carry. So they saw something in there. 1650 01:18:19,000 --> 01:18:21,479 Speaker 1: But then you'll lose Dallas and now you're like, hoo, 1651 01:18:21,560 --> 01:18:25,559 Speaker 1: do we have a third running back? Where is he? Oh? Jones? Jones, 1652 01:18:25,640 --> 01:18:29,759 Speaker 1: You're up? And then he tweaks his at something too, 1653 01:18:29,800 --> 01:18:32,120 Speaker 1: So it was like, do we have a running back left? 1654 01:18:32,680 --> 01:18:35,800 Speaker 1: Hopefully they get healthy because it's hard to just throw 1655 01:18:35,840 --> 01:18:37,760 Speaker 1: the ball every down And that's what I felt like 1656 01:18:37,760 --> 01:18:41,800 Speaker 1: it was this game. Yeah, to me, it you know, 1657 01:18:41,840 --> 01:18:44,759 Speaker 1: when the running backs started going down, it was pretty 1658 01:18:44,760 --> 01:18:48,160 Speaker 1: impressive to see Geno's poise because he wasn't trying to 1659 01:18:48,200 --> 01:18:50,439 Speaker 1: force plays other than like I think one time he's 1660 01:18:50,439 --> 01:18:52,600 Speaker 1: trying to throw the ball in the back of the 1661 01:18:52,800 --> 01:18:54,680 Speaker 1: zone or something that was a little bit risky. But 1662 01:18:54,920 --> 01:18:57,479 Speaker 1: for the most part, he just kept his poise, made 1663 01:18:57,560 --> 01:19:00,960 Speaker 1: his reads, made the throws, and then the kept you know, 1664 01:19:01,040 --> 01:19:04,240 Speaker 1: the Seahawks in a place where they can capitalize on 1665 01:19:04,280 --> 01:19:06,280 Speaker 1: that last drive and get to win. And then even 1666 01:19:06,280 --> 01:19:08,360 Speaker 1: the offensive line that we're talking about, you know, it 1667 01:19:08,400 --> 01:19:10,599 Speaker 1: was would have been interesting to see how the running 1668 01:19:10,600 --> 01:19:13,880 Speaker 1: game would have materialized with Kenneth Walker in there, because 1669 01:19:13,880 --> 01:19:17,200 Speaker 1: it did seem like, um like after the first few runs, 1670 01:19:17,200 --> 01:19:19,479 Speaker 1: like there might have been something there. But then they 1671 01:19:19,520 --> 01:19:21,360 Speaker 1: held up well knowing that they were gonna have to 1672 01:19:21,360 --> 01:19:22,920 Speaker 1: throw the ball a lot, you know, and you know, 1673 01:19:23,000 --> 01:19:25,320 Speaker 1: Gino had to move around a little bit here and there, 1674 01:19:25,320 --> 01:19:27,920 Speaker 1: but that's part of pass protection, part of throwing the ball, 1675 01:19:27,960 --> 01:19:29,280 Speaker 1: and so I thought they did a good job. And 1676 01:19:29,280 --> 01:19:31,479 Speaker 1: then the defense, I think Paul pointed out, like the 1677 01:19:31,520 --> 01:19:33,920 Speaker 1: second half the yardage difference between the first half, so 1678 01:19:33,960 --> 01:19:36,559 Speaker 1: there was some adjustments. Sometimes you look at the whole 1679 01:19:36,560 --> 01:19:39,400 Speaker 1: picture without looking at the film, it feels differently. But 1680 01:19:39,520 --> 01:19:42,240 Speaker 1: at the end of the day, man like, like Tyler said, 1681 01:19:42,360 --> 01:19:45,240 Speaker 1: this is playoff football right now, Like every game is 1682 01:19:45,280 --> 01:19:48,439 Speaker 1: a playoff situation. Survive in advance, and that's what they did. Yeah, 1683 01:19:48,479 --> 01:19:50,280 Speaker 1: that's a great way to look at it, because you know, 1684 01:19:50,360 --> 01:19:52,680 Speaker 1: every win is crucial down the stretch and as you're 1685 01:19:52,680 --> 01:19:55,240 Speaker 1: trying to you know, fight for that six and you 1686 01:19:55,280 --> 01:19:57,639 Speaker 1: know that five and six and seven spot, that playoff 1687 01:19:57,680 --> 01:19:59,800 Speaker 1: spot in the NFC. And you know, the other thing 1688 01:19:59,840 --> 01:20:01,920 Speaker 1: that was gonna make this game tough anyway was the 1689 01:20:01,920 --> 01:20:03,680 Speaker 1: fact that it was in the division, right. I mean 1690 01:20:04,200 --> 01:20:06,360 Speaker 1: you look at some of the other teams around the league, 1691 01:20:06,479 --> 01:20:09,879 Speaker 1: like the Eagles, their only loss is the Commanders, who 1692 01:20:09,880 --> 01:20:12,479 Speaker 1: are in the same division as them, And so you 1693 01:20:12,479 --> 01:20:14,559 Speaker 1: you get into these divisional games where you just know 1694 01:20:14,640 --> 01:20:18,120 Speaker 1: each other so well, and despite who's out there playing 1695 01:20:18,160 --> 01:20:20,400 Speaker 1: and the injuries and things like that. I mean, these 1696 01:20:20,439 --> 01:20:23,639 Speaker 1: coaches have studied up on one another so much. Uh, 1697 01:20:23,880 --> 01:20:26,280 Speaker 1: there's only so many new things and new wrinkles you 1698 01:20:26,320 --> 01:20:30,160 Speaker 1: can implement, uh and do. But this team really overcame 1699 01:20:30,320 --> 01:20:32,120 Speaker 1: and that's a that's a huge part of this. Man. 1700 01:20:32,160 --> 01:20:33,760 Speaker 1: I thought we were about to see Nick Bloor in 1701 01:20:33,800 --> 01:20:41,040 Speaker 1: the backfield on my Twitter, like I'm like, hey, uh yeah, 1702 01:20:41,080 --> 01:20:43,799 Speaker 1: in practice's two point stance ready to go. But uh, 1703 01:20:43,840 --> 01:20:46,720 Speaker 1: you know, My main takeaway, um for this game is 1704 01:20:47,000 --> 01:20:50,400 Speaker 1: just seeing a young team win a close game like this, 1705 01:20:50,560 --> 01:20:53,360 Speaker 1: And I think that's just gonna bring so much growth 1706 01:20:53,439 --> 01:20:55,160 Speaker 1: to the squad as we get to the end of 1707 01:20:55,160 --> 01:20:57,479 Speaker 1: the season. They need to win games like this and 1708 01:20:57,479 --> 01:21:00,840 Speaker 1: and it's just, uh, you know, it's fortunate you can't 1709 01:21:00,880 --> 01:21:02,680 Speaker 1: just you know, blow a team out like this and 1710 01:21:02,840 --> 01:21:05,960 Speaker 1: and what you should be doing. But sometimes these close games, 1711 01:21:05,960 --> 01:21:08,320 Speaker 1: these close wins will bring a lot more, uh, because 1712 01:21:08,360 --> 01:21:11,360 Speaker 1: they're gonna they're gonna have many more games like this 1713 01:21:11,439 --> 01:21:14,880 Speaker 1: as a season continues, playoff game every single All right, 1714 01:21:14,960 --> 01:21:17,080 Speaker 1: let's go down to Gen Miller. She's standing by with 1715 01:21:17,160 --> 01:21:20,800 Speaker 1: Jordan Brooks. Did anything you faced the ramps before? Did 1716 01:21:20,880 --> 01:21:23,080 Speaker 1: anything they do with some of that motion in that 1717 01:21:23,200 --> 01:21:27,000 Speaker 1: I Candy catch the defense off guard early on? Yeah, 1718 01:21:27,000 --> 01:21:30,200 Speaker 1: I mean a little bit. Um, they kind of switch 1719 01:21:30,280 --> 01:21:32,439 Speaker 1: what they were doing, and we expect them to do 1720 01:21:32,479 --> 01:21:35,479 Speaker 1: this this game, so we had to do some adjustment. Um. 1721 01:21:35,560 --> 01:21:37,760 Speaker 1: I think earlier in the game we kind of like 1722 01:21:38,200 --> 01:21:41,479 Speaker 1: what's going on. So once we found out really than 1723 01:21:41,479 --> 01:21:43,960 Speaker 1: we could go. Well. After that opening drive, they were 1724 01:21:43,960 --> 01:21:45,880 Speaker 1: held the field goals until the fourth four or so. 1725 01:21:45,960 --> 01:21:49,080 Speaker 1: What was the biggest change on defense, um going to 1726 01:21:49,160 --> 01:21:52,040 Speaker 1: the sideline seeing for the Prince box. Some of the 1727 01:21:52,120 --> 01:21:55,400 Speaker 1: coaches were seeing that they were going to and making 1728 01:21:55,439 --> 01:21:58,920 Speaker 1: the adjustment to recooling with another interception today. That is 1729 01:21:58,960 --> 01:22:02,080 Speaker 1: a franchise of the record. It's more than the instinct. 1730 01:22:02,240 --> 01:22:07,439 Speaker 1: What else does he do sketching the ball? He's playing great. 1731 01:22:09,160 --> 01:22:12,639 Speaker 1: I'm wondering when the quarterback to stop trying. Everybody's trying them. 1732 01:22:12,640 --> 01:22:14,240 Speaker 1: So I just told him, as long as they keep 1733 01:22:14,240 --> 01:22:16,080 Speaker 1: throwing it up to you, just keep getching every leading 1734 01:22:16,520 --> 01:22:19,080 Speaker 1: Speaking of the quarterback, Walford got hurt there, How did 1735 01:22:19,080 --> 01:22:21,439 Speaker 1: you see the injury affects his ability to run there late? 1736 01:22:23,920 --> 01:22:26,200 Speaker 1: You're just not able to struggle that. I'm not able 1737 01:22:26,240 --> 01:22:28,600 Speaker 1: to get out of the pocket. I'm not able to 1738 01:22:28,640 --> 01:22:32,040 Speaker 1: extend play. So sucks for him. Never wish injury or 1739 01:22:32,040 --> 01:22:34,200 Speaker 1: anybody would kind of work out in my favor. After 1740 01:22:34,240 --> 01:22:36,280 Speaker 1: they scored that touchdown, How much confidence did you have 1741 01:22:36,320 --> 01:22:38,320 Speaker 1: in Gino on the offense to get the job done whatever? 1742 01:22:38,840 --> 01:22:42,519 Speaker 1: I had confidence way before tonight. I knew we would 1743 01:22:42,520 --> 01:22:44,120 Speaker 1: go down there to score. I wish we could have 1744 01:22:44,120 --> 01:22:46,280 Speaker 1: been finished it on defense a little bit earlier, but 1745 01:22:47,000 --> 01:22:49,080 Speaker 1: I knew that they would go down to score and 1746 01:22:49,280 --> 01:22:52,960 Speaker 1: us I have some of the offensive players what they 1747 01:22:53,080 --> 01:22:55,439 Speaker 1: proved on offense, But the way that you guys closed 1748 01:22:55,479 --> 01:22:57,680 Speaker 1: this game out and Covid with the interception, would you 1749 01:22:57,760 --> 01:23:00,519 Speaker 1: prove on defense for the yards? Get enough in the 1750 01:23:00,560 --> 01:23:05,960 Speaker 1: last couple of weeks last week we didn't finish. We 1751 01:23:06,280 --> 01:23:09,200 Speaker 1: needed to finish. I think everybody knew that coming into 1752 01:23:09,240 --> 01:23:11,479 Speaker 1: those last couple of seconds of his games, like, look, 1753 01:23:11,880 --> 01:23:14,680 Speaker 1: you know what last week felt like, let's get it 1754 01:23:14,760 --> 01:23:17,439 Speaker 1: right in this I think everybody did, all right. That 1755 01:23:17,520 --> 01:23:19,920 Speaker 1: was Jordan Brooks saying, look that the offense kind of 1756 01:23:19,920 --> 01:23:22,120 Speaker 1: had him confused a little bit to start the game. 1757 01:23:22,160 --> 01:23:24,880 Speaker 1: We talked about that, I candy in that boot be 1758 01:23:25,040 --> 01:23:27,599 Speaker 1: what I think. Uh, he just reaffirmed what we thought. 1759 01:23:27,600 --> 01:23:32,639 Speaker 1: It's tough to defend that misdirection in deception. Yeah, Sean 1760 01:23:32,720 --> 01:23:35,760 Speaker 1: mcmcveigh had a great game plan coming in to to 1761 01:23:35,920 --> 01:23:38,160 Speaker 1: really uh you know, he didn't have a star power 1762 01:23:38,439 --> 01:23:40,559 Speaker 1: and he took advantage of some guys and put him 1763 01:23:40,600 --> 01:23:42,439 Speaker 1: in the right spots and you know it was tricky 1764 01:23:42,439 --> 01:23:44,919 Speaker 1: for the defense to catch on for a bit um 1765 01:23:45,000 --> 01:23:46,800 Speaker 1: and that's going to happen. You know that he's a 1766 01:23:46,800 --> 01:23:49,599 Speaker 1: good coach and and he's won a lot of football games, 1767 01:23:49,600 --> 01:23:52,040 Speaker 1: a lot of experience, and he used some of his 1768 01:23:52,120 --> 01:23:56,080 Speaker 1: players very well, uh to take advantage of the Seahawks defense. 1769 01:23:56,520 --> 01:23:59,519 Speaker 1: All right, let's go back to the locker room Jim 1770 01:23:59,560 --> 01:24:02,560 Speaker 1: Mueller's in and buy with Tony Jones Junior. That was 1771 01:24:02,600 --> 01:24:06,000 Speaker 1: a really, I think unusual circumstance for you to get 1772 01:24:06,040 --> 01:24:09,720 Speaker 1: into the game. What sense of responsibility did you have 1773 01:24:09,840 --> 01:24:13,519 Speaker 1: when you realized you were the last backstanding. Shoot, I 1774 01:24:13,560 --> 01:24:15,400 Speaker 1: just had to make make them for like whatever it 1775 01:24:15,479 --> 01:24:18,040 Speaker 1: was left with four four the team, Like I thought, 1776 01:24:18,120 --> 01:24:19,880 Speaker 1: like I had to just come come in with a 1777 01:24:19,920 --> 01:24:22,880 Speaker 1: great sense of urgency and just running hard and just 1778 01:24:22,960 --> 01:24:24,960 Speaker 1: doing whatever I can do to help the team win. 1779 01:24:25,680 --> 01:24:27,920 Speaker 1: That is a tough defense to run against. How were 1780 01:24:27,960 --> 01:24:31,639 Speaker 1: you able to find some running room there? Jay? Just 1781 01:24:31,640 --> 01:24:34,360 Speaker 1: just just fighting and you gotta keep you a you know, 1782 01:24:34,520 --> 01:24:36,840 Speaker 1: you know, you gotta keep your legs moving, you gotta 1783 01:24:36,880 --> 01:24:38,920 Speaker 1: fight through it and in them holes gonna be there 1784 01:24:40,160 --> 01:24:43,280 Speaker 1: when Uh, I guess you don't get a whole lot 1785 01:24:43,280 --> 01:24:46,599 Speaker 1: of snaps with the first team in practice. So how 1786 01:24:46,680 --> 01:24:49,719 Speaker 1: did you feel yourself fighting a rhythm in the second half? 1787 01:24:50,880 --> 01:24:53,640 Speaker 1: Shoot Um shoot? I think after I got hit a 1788 01:24:53,680 --> 01:24:55,639 Speaker 1: couple of times, then I started to get my rhythm, 1789 01:24:55,800 --> 01:24:58,200 Speaker 1: like like I knocked the rest off of a little bit. 1790 01:25:00,120 --> 01:25:02,240 Speaker 1: Help help me during the week by getting getting some 1791 01:25:02,400 --> 01:25:05,200 Speaker 1: some rep to the ones just just in case something happened, 1792 01:25:05,240 --> 01:25:07,040 Speaker 1: you know. So I mean like I really like I 1793 01:25:07,120 --> 01:25:10,639 Speaker 1: appreciate that. What did Gino say on that five drive 1794 01:25:10,680 --> 01:25:13,680 Speaker 1: because we have been waiting from this team to have 1795 01:25:13,840 --> 01:25:18,479 Speaker 1: that last second game like h To be honest, the 1796 01:25:18,520 --> 01:25:20,479 Speaker 1: only thing he told told us was just trust, trust 1797 01:25:20,560 --> 01:25:22,519 Speaker 1: our training and just doing do what we've been been 1798 01:25:22,560 --> 01:25:25,280 Speaker 1: doing the whole the whole season, and then and then 1799 01:25:25,320 --> 01:25:29,360 Speaker 1: boom they worked. So look, go to this offense proof today. 1800 01:25:29,760 --> 01:25:32,240 Speaker 1: Proof it proved it for me Ifrew versus a good 1801 01:25:32,320 --> 01:25:34,720 Speaker 1: defense that like that, like our team to still get 1802 01:25:34,760 --> 01:25:37,519 Speaker 1: it done and then and then our and then our 1803 01:25:37,560 --> 01:25:40,320 Speaker 1: offense is top top five when you know, whatever it is, 1804 01:25:40,360 --> 01:25:44,080 Speaker 1: it doesn't matter because our team don't fight through it. Turbo, 1805 01:25:44,120 --> 01:25:46,080 Speaker 1: what's that? What's that feeling like getting that tap on 1806 01:25:46,120 --> 01:25:47,599 Speaker 1: the shoulder and being like, all right, this is your show. 1807 01:25:47,640 --> 01:25:50,000 Speaker 1: Now show what you got man. It's so special man, 1808 01:25:50,040 --> 01:25:51,639 Speaker 1: And get that tap on the shoulder to be able 1809 01:25:51,640 --> 01:25:53,920 Speaker 1: to get out there for the first time and get 1810 01:25:53,960 --> 01:25:56,559 Speaker 1: that opportunity to play. You know, your family is watching, 1811 01:25:56,600 --> 01:25:58,800 Speaker 1: your friends, they're supporting you with things like that, man, 1812 01:25:58,840 --> 01:26:01,000 Speaker 1: and so you you know, you absolutely want to do 1813 01:26:01,040 --> 01:26:03,040 Speaker 1: the best job you can and perform at a high 1814 01:26:03,160 --> 01:26:05,200 Speaker 1: level out there. And you know, he said that he 1815 01:26:05,720 --> 01:26:07,639 Speaker 1: got some reps with the ones, you know, and so 1816 01:26:07,720 --> 01:26:10,360 Speaker 1: he was he did get a little bit of preparation, 1817 01:26:10,439 --> 01:26:12,439 Speaker 1: which was which was cool to hear, and you could tell, 1818 01:26:12,520 --> 01:26:15,519 Speaker 1: you know, there were a couple pass uh blitz pickups 1819 01:26:15,560 --> 01:26:18,160 Speaker 1: that he was responsible for. And you know, although he 1820 01:26:18,280 --> 01:26:20,280 Speaker 1: probably could have been a little bit more physical at 1821 01:26:20,320 --> 01:26:23,400 Speaker 1: the point of attack, he understood who his guys were. 1822 01:26:23,400 --> 01:26:24,880 Speaker 1: And that's the first part of it. I mean, you 1823 01:26:24,920 --> 01:26:28,439 Speaker 1: got to know and identify like who you're responsible for. So, 1824 01:26:28,680 --> 01:26:30,960 Speaker 1: you know, proud of the way Tony Jones Junior came 1825 01:26:31,000 --> 01:26:36,080 Speaker 1: in and handled his business today. More thoughts and uh Tony, Nah, 1826 01:26:36,400 --> 01:26:38,920 Speaker 1: nothing for Tony. You got something for Tony big ray. 1827 01:26:39,840 --> 01:26:41,680 Speaker 1: I mean, just other than you know, like you know, 1828 01:26:42,040 --> 01:26:44,240 Speaker 1: just being ready to come in and contribute however you 1829 01:26:44,240 --> 01:26:47,120 Speaker 1: gotta have, you gotta do it, man, and uh, you know, 1830 01:26:47,520 --> 01:26:49,360 Speaker 1: just to me, it just kind of highlights even more, 1831 01:26:49,560 --> 01:26:51,880 Speaker 1: you know what Gino was able to do because ever 1832 01:26:51,960 --> 01:26:54,600 Speaker 1: got it, got some reps with the ones, but you know, 1833 01:26:54,640 --> 01:26:57,120 Speaker 1: he probably wasn't coming into this game thinking he was 1834 01:26:57,160 --> 01:26:59,000 Speaker 1: going to get any any of the reps. And so 1835 01:26:59,439 --> 01:27:01,400 Speaker 1: for Gino to take that on and still have the 1836 01:27:01,439 --> 01:27:04,360 Speaker 1: poise and for the offensive altogether to have the poise 1837 01:27:04,640 --> 01:27:06,280 Speaker 1: to kind of come through it with game win and play, 1838 01:27:06,280 --> 01:27:10,679 Speaker 1: he's just pretty impressive. Got that, w I saw that matters. Okay, 1839 01:27:10,760 --> 01:27:13,559 Speaker 1: when we return, we're gonna go over some highlights. You're 1840 01:27:13,560 --> 01:27:15,400 Speaker 1: gonna break this thing down. That's next in your home 1841 01:27:15,439 --> 01:27:17,559 Speaker 1: for the Seahawks, Seattle Sports seven ten and KYRA News 1842 01:27:17,640 --> 01:27:23,439 Speaker 1: Radio ninety seventy three i FL Welcome back to hog Talk. 1843 01:27:23,560 --> 01:27:25,640 Speaker 1: Is time to break down some of these plays and 1844 01:27:25,720 --> 01:27:28,439 Speaker 1: let you know exactly how this thing went down. First, 1845 01:27:28,439 --> 01:27:31,240 Speaker 1: we are starting with Bobby Wagner gets a sackle on 1846 01:27:31,400 --> 01:27:33,439 Speaker 1: second down on the seahawks second drive of the game, 1847 01:27:33,479 --> 01:27:36,080 Speaker 1: but on third and seven, Gino fines Tyler Locket for 1848 01:27:36,240 --> 01:27:39,320 Speaker 1: thirty six shard touchdown slots to both sides. With DJ 1849 01:27:39,479 --> 01:27:41,760 Speaker 1: Dallas in the background, here comes the blitz, Leonard Floyd. 1850 01:27:41,840 --> 01:27:44,000 Speaker 1: Gino's got time. Now he's gonna throw. He's got a 1851 01:27:44,000 --> 01:27:46,080 Speaker 1: man crossing the field and locking down in the fifteen 1852 01:27:46,240 --> 01:27:52,280 Speaker 1: come back inside ten dog touch ups Sha Tyler Lockett 1853 01:27:52,320 --> 01:27:56,479 Speaker 1: on the crossing round, Go one game, Gino just enough time. 1854 01:27:56,520 --> 01:27:59,880 Speaker 1: He steps up inside of Leonard Floyd and throws abut 1855 01:28:00,479 --> 01:28:03,000 Speaker 1: on a crossing route from right to left, and Tyler 1856 01:28:03,120 --> 01:28:06,400 Speaker 1: Lockett puts the Seahawks on the board. It's seven to six. 1857 01:28:07,120 --> 01:28:10,080 Speaker 1: Lockett getting in the next level above the linebackers, behind 1858 01:28:10,120 --> 01:28:12,840 Speaker 1: the linebackers. I should say, as he has a crosser, Gino, 1859 01:28:12,880 --> 01:28:14,760 Speaker 1: what a great job stepping up hit and Locket and 1860 01:28:14,760 --> 01:28:16,679 Speaker 1: Lockett does the rest with his feet with the cutback 1861 01:28:16,920 --> 01:28:18,640 Speaker 1: to get into the end zone. A great answer for 1862 01:28:18,680 --> 01:28:20,960 Speaker 1: the Seahawks after an opening drive by the Rams to 1863 01:28:21,160 --> 01:28:23,200 Speaker 1: go up seven nothing to tie it up seven seven, 1864 01:28:23,400 --> 01:28:25,479 Speaker 1: that would make the score seven to seven. It's a 1865 01:28:25,560 --> 01:28:28,920 Speaker 1: go ahead. Gino Smith will find Noah for four yard touchdown, 1866 01:28:29,000 --> 01:28:33,679 Speaker 1: capping him eleven play ninety one yard drive. DJ Dallas 1867 01:28:33,680 --> 01:28:37,320 Speaker 1: in the backfield. Gino from the shotgun has time. Looks 1868 01:28:37,320 --> 01:28:40,160 Speaker 1: he's gonna throw him a back corner, wide open touchdown, 1869 01:28:41,120 --> 01:28:46,000 Speaker 1: Seahawks no offense, and he's gonna run and slap high 1870 01:28:46,040 --> 01:28:48,720 Speaker 1: fives with all the twelves who are in the end 1871 01:28:48,840 --> 01:28:53,160 Speaker 1: zone suites that are normally populated by Rams fans, but 1872 01:28:53,360 --> 01:28:55,680 Speaker 1: they are all gone today and they're filled with the 1873 01:28:55,760 --> 01:28:59,120 Speaker 1: twelves and they are celebrating in the Seahawks take a 1874 01:28:59,240 --> 01:29:02,519 Speaker 1: thirteen to Sam Lee. Yeah, Noah. Fant Neil finds his 1875 01:29:02,560 --> 01:29:05,040 Speaker 1: way into the end zone on a nice little crossing 1876 01:29:05,120 --> 01:29:07,400 Speaker 1: route over to the back corner of the end zone, 1877 01:29:07,400 --> 01:29:09,680 Speaker 1: and it's good to see see him getting an end 1878 01:29:09,720 --> 01:29:11,720 Speaker 1: zone like he This dude is a real weapon and 1879 01:29:12,080 --> 01:29:14,760 Speaker 1: he's been kind of having a quiet year, but I 1880 01:29:14,800 --> 01:29:16,479 Speaker 1: think down the stretch he's going to be a player 1881 01:29:16,520 --> 01:29:19,040 Speaker 1: to look out for. On this offense that made the 1882 01:29:19,120 --> 01:29:21,519 Speaker 1: score fourteen to ten, and then the Seahawks will go 1883 01:29:21,560 --> 01:29:24,720 Speaker 1: on defense. It was the third down situation thirty five. 1884 01:29:24,800 --> 01:29:27,000 Speaker 1: You get a Pi and Trey Brown third and two, 1885 01:29:27,520 --> 01:29:32,920 Speaker 1: the totally play today. Get this great third and six. 1886 01:29:33,000 --> 01:29:34,680 Speaker 1: The Wolves suit gets an all size but it's to 1887 01:29:34,720 --> 01:29:36,840 Speaker 1: climb because of a game by Van Jefferson. And then 1888 01:29:37,040 --> 01:29:40,920 Speaker 1: the next play, t Wooling Rooky Franchise record records an 1889 01:29:40,960 --> 01:29:44,240 Speaker 1: interception number six first in town at the Seattle thirty five. 1890 01:29:44,600 --> 01:29:47,720 Speaker 1: Wolford goes under center Williams in the backfield play fake. 1891 01:29:47,800 --> 01:29:50,839 Speaker 1: Wolford's gonna roll the right side, had some time throws 1892 01:29:50,840 --> 01:29:54,000 Speaker 1: back near side, reaching up, making the interception as one 1893 01:29:54,320 --> 01:29:57,960 Speaker 1: at the fifteen yard line. Goal underthrown just a bit 1894 01:29:58,040 --> 01:30:02,720 Speaker 1: for Kyron Williams, and you're not gonna get that past 1895 01:30:02,920 --> 01:30:05,880 Speaker 1: Tariq wooln All six foot four, two hundred and ten 1896 01:30:05,960 --> 01:30:09,479 Speaker 1: pounds off him. With that interception, Woollen has now broken 1897 01:30:09,520 --> 01:30:12,559 Speaker 1: the club record for interceptions by a rookie with six. 1898 01:30:12,840 --> 01:30:16,479 Speaker 1: And we've still got games to play. The Seahawks taken away, 1899 01:30:16,600 --> 01:30:19,960 Speaker 1: they have the ball first and ten. He really is 1900 01:30:20,000 --> 01:30:22,960 Speaker 1: a receiver playing defense. He's better than that. I mean, 1901 01:30:22,960 --> 01:30:25,320 Speaker 1: he's got skill. He's got better change of direction than 1902 01:30:25,320 --> 01:30:27,880 Speaker 1: I thought coming out of college. He's improved on that. 1903 01:30:28,680 --> 01:30:30,240 Speaker 1: They're not going to throw to him much, and I'll 1904 01:30:30,280 --> 01:30:33,160 Speaker 1: bet you he by far has the most interceptions per 1905 01:30:34,040 --> 01:30:36,840 Speaker 1: attempts thrown at him this year because they really are 1906 01:30:36,840 --> 01:30:38,880 Speaker 1: not going after him. You just can't beat him deep 1907 01:30:39,000 --> 01:30:41,519 Speaker 1: unless he baits you, and then he's just fast enough 1908 01:30:41,520 --> 01:30:44,439 Speaker 1: to run it down all right. Later on in the game, Well, 1909 01:30:44,479 --> 01:30:46,280 Speaker 1: let me set it up. Dka had himself a day 1910 01:30:46,400 --> 01:30:49,120 Speaker 1: eight catches, one hundred twenty seven yards, one touchdown, This 1911 01:30:49,280 --> 01:30:51,479 Speaker 1: is as long as a reception of the day setting 1912 01:30:51,560 --> 01:30:56,000 Speaker 1: up a field goal by Myers. So DJ Dallas, fully 1913 01:30:56,120 --> 01:30:59,680 Speaker 1: spattered on both shoes, is in the backfield. Now on 1914 01:31:00,160 --> 01:31:02,720 Speaker 1: down in ten at the Seattle thirty a slot to 1915 01:31:02,760 --> 01:31:06,920 Speaker 1: the far side. Tyler Lockett is there, Medcalf is wide 1916 01:31:06,960 --> 01:31:09,519 Speaker 1: to the right. Geno has time. He's gonna throw down 1917 01:31:09,560 --> 01:31:12,160 Speaker 1: the right sidelines. He's got Dk Metcalf and Metcalf af 1918 01:31:12,200 --> 01:31:14,360 Speaker 1: the ball. Does he get his feet out? He guys 1919 01:31:14,520 --> 01:31:18,599 Speaker 1: at the thirty yard line of the Rams. The Rams 1920 01:31:18,600 --> 01:31:20,439 Speaker 1: are saying, take a look at it. They don't believe 1921 01:31:20,479 --> 01:31:22,840 Speaker 1: he got his feet in. The official was right there 1922 01:31:23,040 --> 01:31:25,600 Speaker 1: who made the call, and Gino is gonna get the 1923 01:31:25,640 --> 01:31:28,599 Speaker 1: offense to the line of scrimmage in a hurry. Perfect 1924 01:31:28,640 --> 01:31:32,439 Speaker 1: pass by Smith one two and that is in for 1925 01:31:32,680 --> 01:31:35,479 Speaker 1: DK Metcalf, as we see the replay on the big 1926 01:31:35,520 --> 01:31:38,559 Speaker 1: overhead screen. First and ten down at the thirty of 1927 01:31:38,600 --> 01:31:42,800 Speaker 1: the Rams. Yeah, this is as consistent as DK has 1928 01:31:42,880 --> 01:31:45,559 Speaker 1: been throughout his entire career. He's been making catches like 1929 01:31:45,680 --> 01:31:50,400 Speaker 1: this all season long. And the evolution when he gets 1930 01:31:50,479 --> 01:31:53,000 Speaker 1: challenged and guys are up in his face, it used 1931 01:31:53,000 --> 01:31:55,840 Speaker 1: to kind of get him off his game. He plays 1932 01:31:55,880 --> 01:31:58,360 Speaker 1: better now. He elevates his game, and he did it 1933 01:31:58,360 --> 01:32:01,920 Speaker 1: today against the Rams. Lay they're on in the third quarter. 1934 01:32:02,040 --> 01:32:05,719 Speaker 1: Bobby Wagner had himself a day over. I had seven tackles, 1935 01:32:05,760 --> 01:32:09,000 Speaker 1: five solos, two sexs, three TFLs, one pass defended. In 1936 01:32:09,120 --> 01:32:14,679 Speaker 1: this interception, Geno from the shotgun takes the snap pressure 1937 01:32:14,720 --> 01:32:17,640 Speaker 1: coming look out throws it to the flat near side 1938 01:32:17,920 --> 01:32:22,600 Speaker 1: Jones Junior. I think they're gonna say, wait, call it 1939 01:32:22,640 --> 01:32:27,240 Speaker 1: an interception. Oh, I think it's Bobby Wagener. As he 1940 01:32:27,280 --> 01:32:29,640 Speaker 1: gets out there in a flat. Gino Smith with a 1941 01:32:29,800 --> 01:32:33,639 Speaker 1: late row waiting for somebody to come open, finally tried 1942 01:32:33,680 --> 01:32:36,320 Speaker 1: to drop it off in the flat and Bobby Wagner 1943 01:32:36,439 --> 01:32:39,320 Speaker 1: is the guy there to make the play. Another turnover 1944 01:32:39,360 --> 01:32:42,240 Speaker 1: for the Seahawks. You just can't do it. We've got 1945 01:32:42,240 --> 01:32:44,400 Speaker 1: one forty six to play in the third, still a 1946 01:32:44,439 --> 01:32:46,679 Speaker 1: lot of time, and the Seahawks still have the lead 1947 01:32:47,160 --> 01:32:51,680 Speaker 1: seventeen thirteen. Yeah, Bobby, you know, made a play on 1948 01:32:51,720 --> 01:32:54,360 Speaker 1: the ball that it looks like the like Jones Junior's 1949 01:32:54,439 --> 01:32:56,559 Speaker 1: knee was down with control of the ball, but they 1950 01:32:56,560 --> 01:32:58,800 Speaker 1: said the ball was still moving. They rolled over on 1951 01:32:58,840 --> 01:33:01,800 Speaker 1: the ground and Bobby had also Bobby Wood, you know, 1952 01:33:01,840 --> 01:33:05,080 Speaker 1: seven tackles and two sacks and an inception and tackle 1953 01:33:05,120 --> 01:33:07,640 Speaker 1: for loss, had himself a day, but didn't get to 1954 01:33:07,720 --> 01:33:10,120 Speaker 1: dub We got it later on in the fourth quarter, 1955 01:33:10,200 --> 01:33:13,600 Speaker 1: the Rams are driving. They convert a third in one. 1956 01:33:13,800 --> 01:33:16,280 Speaker 1: Excuse me, there's a TfL and third and one by 1957 01:33:16,280 --> 01:33:18,479 Speaker 1: al Woods. And on fourth and two they get a 1958 01:33:18,520 --> 01:33:21,960 Speaker 1: scramble for fourteen yards and Rams convert seventy nine percent 1959 01:33:22,040 --> 01:33:24,479 Speaker 1: of their fourth downs. This sets up a cam Acres touchdown, 1960 01:33:24,560 --> 01:33:28,479 Speaker 1: making a score twenty three to twenty Rams. Second down 1961 01:33:28,479 --> 01:33:31,400 Speaker 1: on one, Wolford hands it to Acres, finds a little 1962 01:33:31,400 --> 01:33:33,439 Speaker 1: bit of a gap, bounces off of one, bounces off 1963 01:33:33,479 --> 01:33:35,479 Speaker 1: the two, and falls into the end zone for a 1964 01:33:35,560 --> 01:33:42,040 Speaker 1: Ram touchdowns and the Rams they're gonna go back on 1965 01:33:42,160 --> 01:33:46,360 Speaker 1: top twenty two to twenty with just under three minutes 1966 01:33:46,439 --> 01:33:50,040 Speaker 1: left to play. Let's see what the Rams decide to do. 1967 01:33:50,120 --> 01:33:53,320 Speaker 1: They're gonna spend their extra point team on so make 1968 01:33:53,360 --> 01:33:56,559 Speaker 1: it a three point game. Just a good overall drive 1969 01:33:56,640 --> 01:33:59,280 Speaker 1: by the Rams are and topped off by cam Acres 1970 01:33:59,320 --> 01:34:02,040 Speaker 1: up that left set, really powering their way through the 1971 01:34:02,040 --> 01:34:04,080 Speaker 1: Seahawks defense there to get into the end zone and 1972 01:34:04,200 --> 01:34:06,120 Speaker 1: take the lead and give the ball back to Gino 1973 01:34:06,200 --> 01:34:09,000 Speaker 1: Smith and to see what he can do with it. 1974 01:34:09,800 --> 01:34:12,519 Speaker 1: Gino gets the football and we're all waiting for the moment. 1975 01:34:12,600 --> 01:34:14,880 Speaker 1: Can Gino drive down and win the game? He hits 1976 01:34:14,920 --> 01:34:17,559 Speaker 1: no a fan four fourteen yard game. But to end 1977 01:34:17,560 --> 01:34:21,240 Speaker 1: this thing, he finds who else? DK Metcalf one on 1978 01:34:21,240 --> 01:34:24,599 Speaker 1: one with number five Jalen Ramsey for the game winning touchdown, 1979 01:34:24,680 --> 01:34:26,840 Speaker 1: making the score twenty seven twenty three. Calving off a 1980 01:34:26,920 --> 01:34:30,960 Speaker 1: ten play, seventy five yard drive, three receivers right side, 1981 01:34:31,120 --> 01:34:35,439 Speaker 1: DK Metcalf took a left with Jalen Ramsey on him. 1982 01:34:35,600 --> 01:34:38,360 Speaker 1: Gino takes the snap four man rush, but a half 1983 01:34:38,479 --> 01:34:43,760 Speaker 1: roll throws back inside, reaching out backing a catch cut down. Stayhawks, 1984 01:34:44,840 --> 01:34:50,519 Speaker 1: are you kidding me? Nfdk Metcalf. Ramsey was all over him. 1985 01:34:50,760 --> 01:34:53,920 Speaker 1: DK put some big myths up and says that fall 1986 01:34:54,040 --> 01:34:57,800 Speaker 1: is mine and the Seahawks take the lead. Twenty six 1987 01:34:58,160 --> 01:35:03,600 Speaker 1: twenty three. What a throwed by Geno Smith. It was 1988 01:35:03,600 --> 01:35:06,160 Speaker 1: a great job by DK and that was entertaining all day. 1989 01:35:06,320 --> 01:35:08,760 Speaker 1: You know him and Ramsey, I mean they were john 1990 01:35:08,800 --> 01:35:13,080 Speaker 1: at each other and you mentioned it, Turbo. DK is consistent. 1991 01:35:13,120 --> 01:35:15,040 Speaker 1: This is the first time I've ever seen where he 1992 01:35:15,120 --> 01:35:17,840 Speaker 1: had eight targets and eight catches. Usually he needs a 1993 01:35:17,840 --> 01:35:20,320 Speaker 1: few more targets to get over one hundred. Un that's 1994 01:35:20,360 --> 01:35:22,960 Speaker 1: it's a big play man. He was dialed in. He 1995 01:35:23,000 --> 01:35:25,280 Speaker 1: made a great catch on the sideline. But I know 1996 01:35:25,360 --> 01:35:28,839 Speaker 1: he wanted that last one man. He wanted it on Ramsey, 1997 01:35:28,880 --> 01:35:32,840 Speaker 1: he wanted as a game winner. He wanted it from Gino. Um. 1998 01:35:32,920 --> 01:35:36,120 Speaker 1: You know just again, playmakers, you know, make plays and 1999 01:35:36,600 --> 01:35:39,400 Speaker 1: you need more DK metcasts on this team. DK was 2000 01:35:39,439 --> 01:35:41,960 Speaker 1: so efficient. I will take the ensportsman like conduct that 2001 01:35:42,000 --> 01:35:46,720 Speaker 1: he had this game of dad talk. All right, man, 2002 01:35:46,720 --> 01:35:49,960 Speaker 1: the Seahawks get her done against the Los Angeles Rams 2003 01:35:50,000 --> 01:35:52,439 Speaker 1: twenty seven to twenty three. When we come back, we'll 2004 01:35:52,479 --> 01:35:55,120 Speaker 1: give you our unsung hero that's coming up next on 2005 01:35:55,160 --> 01:35:57,400 Speaker 1: your home for the Seahawks. Saddles Sports seventen and Kyran 2006 01:35:57,520 --> 01:35:59,960 Speaker 1: was Radio ninety seven three FM. We got some 2011 01:36:12,040 --> 01:36:16,240 Speaker 1: things to do, all rights, it's time for an unsung hero, 2012 01:36:17,120 --> 01:36:19,519 Speaker 1: someone who needs some love. There probably ain't gonna get 2013 01:36:19,560 --> 01:36:24,880 Speaker 1: some love. We're scrambling. B Wall got that golf composure 2014 01:36:25,000 --> 01:36:27,200 Speaker 1: face right now. You seem ready to go, so I'm 2015 01:36:27,200 --> 01:36:30,559 Speaker 1: gonna go. You're away, man. I don't know if he 2016 01:36:30,920 --> 01:36:34,400 Speaker 1: needs praising, but uh, no Ah, fan, I think you 2017 01:36:34,439 --> 01:36:37,439 Speaker 1: know big four four catches on five targets when his 2018 01:36:37,520 --> 01:36:40,240 Speaker 1: name was called, he made the play a big touchdown 2019 01:36:40,280 --> 01:36:44,120 Speaker 1: there and uh you know, not not the show your stats, 2020 01:36:44,160 --> 01:36:46,840 Speaker 1: you know, no DK or Tyler Lockett stats, but what 2021 01:36:46,960 --> 01:36:48,840 Speaker 1: he did. You know he made some big, big first 2022 01:36:48,840 --> 01:36:50,800 Speaker 1: downs and some big catches when when he needed to 2023 01:36:51,360 --> 01:36:56,240 Speaker 1: we got Noah. I like that one turbulence. Utah, stay 2024 01:36:56,360 --> 01:36:59,760 Speaker 1: stand up, all of famer. What you gotta do? You know, 2025 01:36:59,840 --> 01:37:04,679 Speaker 1: I know this is unorthodox turbo. We're probably not allowed 2026 01:37:04,680 --> 01:37:06,960 Speaker 1: to do this, but I have to give the US song. 2027 01:37:07,120 --> 01:37:11,680 Speaker 1: He rose plurl to two guys in a combination of 2028 01:37:12,760 --> 01:37:17,799 Speaker 1: m Tony Jones Junior and DJ Dallas. You know, because 2029 01:37:18,240 --> 01:37:20,799 Speaker 1: you know Tony being really if you if you include 2030 01:37:20,800 --> 01:37:23,000 Speaker 1: a shot penny, he really is a fourth string running 2031 01:37:23,000 --> 01:37:27,759 Speaker 1: back right coming in being prepared. DJ Dallas was out, 2032 01:37:27,800 --> 01:37:30,000 Speaker 1: he was doubtful to return in this football game. And 2033 01:37:30,400 --> 01:37:33,360 Speaker 1: when Tony Jones went down with his you know, a 2034 01:37:33,400 --> 01:37:36,880 Speaker 1: little injury, he gutted it out and came back in man. 2035 01:37:37,280 --> 01:37:39,280 Speaker 1: And then if you look at what they did, right 2036 01:37:39,360 --> 01:37:41,880 Speaker 1: from a statistical standpoint, nothing is going to stand out 2037 01:37:41,920 --> 01:37:43,920 Speaker 1: at you when you, you know, go on Google and 2038 01:37:44,000 --> 01:37:46,559 Speaker 1: see what they did. But I'm watching these guys man 2039 01:37:46,600 --> 01:37:48,920 Speaker 1: pick up pass protection and yeah, Tony Jones give up 2040 01:37:48,920 --> 01:37:51,280 Speaker 1: a sack, But just the mere fact of being able 2041 01:37:51,360 --> 01:37:54,639 Speaker 1: to recognize like who you have and identify like your 2042 01:37:54,720 --> 01:37:57,360 Speaker 1: guys and step up in there and at least try 2043 01:37:57,400 --> 01:38:00,320 Speaker 1: to make the black man like that's a less difficult man. 2044 01:38:00,000 --> 01:38:02,280 Speaker 1: And that's not easy to do in the NFL at 2045 01:38:02,280 --> 01:38:04,800 Speaker 1: the running back position, man, you're an extension at the 2046 01:38:04,880 --> 01:38:07,280 Speaker 1: quarterback in that sense when it comes to past protection. 2047 01:38:07,360 --> 01:38:09,639 Speaker 1: So I got to give both of those guys credit 2048 01:38:09,680 --> 01:38:12,519 Speaker 1: for just what they were able to do in the 2049 01:38:12,560 --> 01:38:15,280 Speaker 1: football game today, stepping up and stepping in all right, 2050 01:38:15,479 --> 01:38:19,200 Speaker 1: RB going with the RBS big great. Yeah. I was 2051 01:38:19,240 --> 01:38:21,080 Speaker 1: gonna say, you know, like, there's a lot of dudes 2052 01:38:21,080 --> 01:38:23,519 Speaker 1: that had like some really cool stats that we talked 2053 01:38:23,520 --> 01:38:26,519 Speaker 1: about earlier like Jordan Brooks and t Woo and all 2054 01:38:26,560 --> 01:38:30,000 Speaker 1: those guys. But to me, the unsung hero on this 2055 01:38:30,120 --> 01:38:33,360 Speaker 1: defense all year long has been Al Woods. And you 2056 01:38:33,400 --> 01:38:35,519 Speaker 1: think about you would take away those fly sweeps and 2057 01:38:35,560 --> 01:38:38,920 Speaker 1: the boots and just the running back runs. I think 2058 01:38:38,920 --> 01:38:41,559 Speaker 1: they had about seventy four yards rushing. But he was 2059 01:38:41,680 --> 01:38:45,400 Speaker 1: on the offensive line side of the ball pretty consistently. Tonight, 2060 01:38:45,439 --> 01:38:48,719 Speaker 1: he missed a couple of tackles, but he was creating 2061 01:38:48,760 --> 01:38:51,760 Speaker 1: plays for other people just by the push he was 2062 01:38:51,760 --> 01:38:53,960 Speaker 1: getting in the middle. So I'm gonna I'm gonna go 2063 01:38:53,960 --> 01:38:55,640 Speaker 1: with big al Woods because he takes a pound and 2064 01:38:55,680 --> 01:38:59,040 Speaker 1: takes on double teams, people chopping at his legs all day, 2065 01:38:59,240 --> 01:39:01,360 Speaker 1: and he's self it's a way to create a pathway 2066 01:39:01,360 --> 01:39:06,560 Speaker 1: for other guys to make plays. Chop a style. Paul Moya, Um, 2067 01:39:06,600 --> 01:39:09,400 Speaker 1: I gotta read this one US from Dave Wyman. Cody 2068 01:39:09,439 --> 01:39:12,839 Speaker 1: Barton was his unsung hero, had an interception and seven 2069 01:39:12,880 --> 01:39:17,679 Speaker 1: tackles and a past defense. I'm gonna go with Ryan Neil. 2070 01:39:18,160 --> 01:39:20,599 Speaker 1: And the reason why I'm going with Ryan Neil he's, 2071 01:39:20,800 --> 01:39:24,000 Speaker 1: as you guys know, he was kind of doubtful when 2072 01:39:24,000 --> 01:39:27,680 Speaker 1: the after last game and questionaboy, he ends up playing, Um, 2073 01:39:27,720 --> 01:39:32,080 Speaker 1: they're leading active receiver going into this game. M was 2074 01:39:32,160 --> 01:39:35,719 Speaker 1: Tyler Higbee and he only had two receptions on five 2075 01:39:35,720 --> 01:39:38,920 Speaker 1: targets today, So that unsung hero is you know, he 2076 01:39:39,000 --> 01:39:42,400 Speaker 1: kind of kept them quiet. We didn't see any real 2077 01:39:42,479 --> 01:39:45,599 Speaker 1: big plays downfield in a passing game, so I gotta 2078 01:39:45,680 --> 01:39:48,160 Speaker 1: give somebody on defense there, and he's one of them. 2079 01:39:48,160 --> 01:39:51,120 Speaker 1: For me, my unsung hero was my key Hawk, and 2080 01:39:51,160 --> 01:39:52,640 Speaker 1: my guy went out and deal what I said he 2081 01:39:52,680 --> 01:39:55,080 Speaker 1: was gonna do. It was your key hawks will suit 2082 01:39:55,120 --> 01:40:00,559 Speaker 1: two sacks, baby two sacked two of them things. My 2083 01:40:00,640 --> 01:40:03,880 Speaker 1: key Hawk one MVP today, but that was easy. Okay, 2084 01:40:05,200 --> 01:40:06,720 Speaker 1: thanks for the shout out of my key Hawk, if 2085 01:40:06,800 --> 01:40:10,000 Speaker 1: guy would. So let's go there, you go, wow, jump 2086 01:40:10,040 --> 01:40:13,120 Speaker 1: on my ship right now. Let me have this. Can 2087 01:40:13,160 --> 01:40:15,360 Speaker 1: I have this all right? With chin in the wils 2088 01:40:15,360 --> 01:40:17,680 Speaker 1: Who Man, that's mine. I think anybody can get it though, 2089 01:40:17,800 --> 01:40:20,320 Speaker 1: unsung hero. It's a team sport, right, You're always gonna 2090 01:40:20,320 --> 01:40:23,360 Speaker 1: have multiple unsung hero So I'm all right with all 2091 01:40:23,479 --> 01:40:27,400 Speaker 1: of that. All right, we'll return. Moyer's gonna give us 2092 01:40:27,400 --> 01:40:30,360 Speaker 1: a nice little playoff picture. What's going on with these 2093 01:40:30,360 --> 01:40:32,240 Speaker 1: guys right now? That's next in your home for the Seahawk, 2094 01:40:32,280 --> 01:40:35,479 Speaker 1: Salo Sports seventeen and Caver News Radio ninety seven three. 2095 01:40:36,280 --> 01:40:39,599 Speaker 1: Welcome back to Hawk Talking right now we're gonna be 2096 01:40:40,040 --> 01:40:45,160 Speaker 1: blessed with playoff knowledge by number twenty one who got 2097 01:40:45,280 --> 01:40:49,040 Speaker 1: it done, Paul Moyer. Okay, I'll keep it kind of 2098 01:40:49,120 --> 01:40:52,280 Speaker 1: short here, um, just going through and just looking at 2099 01:40:52,320 --> 01:40:55,120 Speaker 1: the scenarios here when you look at the playoff hunt 2100 01:40:55,280 --> 01:40:58,040 Speaker 1: right now again, the Washington Commanders are the one that's 2101 01:40:58,800 --> 01:41:02,920 Speaker 1: kind of been the surprise here. They've won their last 2102 01:41:02,960 --> 01:41:05,280 Speaker 1: eight games. They're six one and one. Their defense hasn't 2103 01:41:05,320 --> 01:41:08,440 Speaker 1: given up over twenty one points. So I'm gonna take Washington, 2104 01:41:08,479 --> 01:41:12,920 Speaker 1: the Giants, Detroit's and the Seahawks because Detroit's five and 2105 01:41:13,000 --> 01:41:15,360 Speaker 1: seven right now, they're kind of hot, and when they 2106 01:41:15,360 --> 01:41:17,240 Speaker 1: look at their schedule, I think they can get to 2107 01:41:17,320 --> 01:41:19,720 Speaker 1: nine and eight coming up here. So let me throw 2108 01:41:19,760 --> 01:41:21,800 Speaker 1: it out for you guys right now, and I think 2109 01:41:21,800 --> 01:41:24,679 Speaker 1: eight wins actually may get us in. Detroit's five and seven, 2110 01:41:24,680 --> 01:41:27,200 Speaker 1: but they've got the Vikings, then they're at the Jets. 2111 01:41:27,280 --> 01:41:31,360 Speaker 1: Then they got the Panthers, Pairs, Bears, and Packers. They win, 2112 01:41:31,840 --> 01:41:34,639 Speaker 1: you know, Vikings or Jets, that's a nine win team. 2113 01:41:34,680 --> 01:41:37,200 Speaker 1: We got the tiebreaker over them if that need be 2114 01:41:37,600 --> 01:41:40,479 Speaker 1: the Giants. I think the Giants finish eight, eight and one. 2115 01:41:40,800 --> 01:41:42,679 Speaker 1: Right now they're seven to four and one. But here's 2116 01:41:42,680 --> 01:41:45,040 Speaker 1: are they out to play. They got the Eagles, They're 2117 01:41:45,080 --> 01:41:48,839 Speaker 1: at Washington, They're at the Vikings. They're at the Eagles. 2118 01:41:49,200 --> 01:41:51,080 Speaker 1: That's four losses in a row to me, or four 2119 01:41:51,120 --> 01:41:54,040 Speaker 1: losses there. And they have the Colts Colts Watson right 2120 01:41:54,040 --> 01:41:57,360 Speaker 1: now against Cowboy's not bad. And then Washington. Washington is 2121 01:41:57,439 --> 01:41:59,519 Speaker 1: seven to five and one. They have a buy coming 2122 01:41:59,600 --> 01:42:03,360 Speaker 1: up net next week, but then they have the Giants again, 2123 01:42:03,400 --> 01:42:05,040 Speaker 1: they got to play them, and then they're at the 2124 01:42:05,080 --> 01:42:07,200 Speaker 1: forty nine ers. That's a big one for us. And 2125 01:42:07,240 --> 01:42:09,960 Speaker 1: then they got the Browns and the Cowboys. I see 2126 01:42:10,000 --> 01:42:12,720 Speaker 1: them finishing nine and eight as well. So to me, 2127 01:42:12,960 --> 01:42:14,840 Speaker 1: we gotta win two games. We gotta get to nine 2128 01:42:14,880 --> 01:42:17,120 Speaker 1: if we want to get to the playoffs. It's possible 2129 01:42:17,240 --> 01:42:20,400 Speaker 1: eight could get us in. I think nine. We're pretty comfortable. 2130 01:42:20,520 --> 01:42:23,080 Speaker 1: I want the NFC West. Um, we're gonna have to 2131 01:42:23,080 --> 01:42:26,080 Speaker 1: play well those last three games, but next weekends Carolina 2132 01:42:26,120 --> 01:42:28,360 Speaker 1: is big nine gets it done nine and we're in 2133 01:42:28,680 --> 01:42:31,559 Speaker 1: close of remarks Bellas and Paul said it, I'm betting. 2134 01:42:31,560 --> 01:42:34,559 Speaker 1: I'm putting all my money on Paul. Paul he put 2135 01:42:34,600 --> 01:42:36,080 Speaker 1: into work. You know what I'm saying. You said, he's 2136 01:42:36,080 --> 01:42:38,400 Speaker 1: fucking numbers, and that's what he does for career. He 2137 01:42:38,439 --> 01:42:40,600 Speaker 1: crunches numbers. He you know, he's a dude. You know 2138 01:42:40,960 --> 01:42:43,760 Speaker 1: this has been his highlighting day too.
