He was granted immunity and forced to 0:25:32.440 --> 0:25:37.240 testify before Congress. He was then indicted, prosecuted, and convicted 0:25:37.280 --> 0:25:41.520 of three federal felonies. But his conviction got busted. It 0:25:41.600 --> 0:25:46.080 got reversed on appeal because the appellate court said, feels 0:25:46.119 --> 0:25:49.159 like some of that immunized testimony he was forced to 0:25:49.200 --> 0:25:53.000 give seeped its way into the trial, so it wasn't 0:25:53.040 --> 0:25:56.520 a righteous conviction, and he never did go back to trial. 0:25:56.560 --> 0:25:59.840 He wasn't retried, so he ultimately got away with those 0:26:00.040 --> 0:26:02.080 crimes at the end of the day.
