He was wounded for 0:08:39.390 --> 0:08:44.870 our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities, and the chastisement of 0:08:44.870 --> 0:08:49.110 his peace was upon us, and by his stripes we 0:08:49.110 --> 0:08:54.030 are healed. Yeah. You know what happened? Jesus was beat 0:08:54.030 --> 0:08:58.310 down because you and I were low down. Right. Don't 0:08:58.309 --> 0:09:00.230 look around. Don't look around. Tell, tell you. Yeah. 0:09:58.620 --> 0:10:01.540 But Hebrews 12 two says that we are to look 0:10:01.540 --> 0:10:04.459 unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who 0:10:04.460 --> 0:10:10.980 for the joy that was set before him endured the suffering. 0:10:10.980 --> 0:10:16.380 What was the joy that Jesus had? Joy despising the shame, 0:10:16.740 --> 0:10:20.180 but he had joy. Jesus, how can you have joy 0:10:20.700 --> 0:10:23.339 when they're going to whoop you all night long? So that the first 39 chapters form the 0:12:26.780 --> 0:12:31.260 Old Testament in Isaiah and the last 27, the New 0:12:31.260 --> 0:12:36.380 Testament in Isaiah, so that the first 39 chapters focus 0:12:36.380 --> 0:12:41.820 on the government of God, whereas the last 27 chapters 0:12:41.820 --> 0:12:45.460 focus in on the grace of God. So notice what happens here. Unto us a 0:13:49.380 --> 0:13:54.540 child is born. That is the crib. It's called the incarnation. 0:13:54.580 --> 0:14:00.260 He came. Yes, but then unto us a son is given. See, 0:14:00.260 --> 0:14:03.380 the child was born, but the son was given. And 0:14:03.380 --> 0:14:06.540 that's the crucifixion. Right over your head. You say. What do 0:15:09.610 --> 0:15:13.770 you mean, right over our head? Because they're not in 0:15:13.770 --> 0:15:18.770 captivity yet. They won't be in captivity, Sister Kim, until 0:15:18.770 --> 0:15:23.090 150 years from the writing of this book. So do 0:15:23.090 --> 0:15:25.330 you know what that means?
