Now here's what 0:04:59.350 --> 0:05:03.469 it means. He bookends it with patience. In chapter one 0:05:03.470 --> 0:05:07.710 he says, you have to be patient in problems. That's hupomone. 0:05:08.110 --> 0:05:10.030 And then he says, I gotta take you to the 0:05:10.029 --> 0:05:13.430 bigger stuff. Chapter five. Because some things that happen to you are 0:05:25.910 --> 0:05:29.349 actually happening for you. And Jeremiah says, I got all 0:08:07.990 --> 0:08:10.870 y'all beat. I was in my mother's womb. Hey, he 0:08:10.870 --> 0:08:14.870 called me hey in the womb. I gave him praise 0:08:14.870 --> 0:08:21.590 in the womb. I guess you could call that prenatal praise. Yeah, yeah. 0:08:21.590 --> 0:08:23.950 And so here it is. Here it is. Somebody says, 0:09:06.140 --> 0:09:10.340 I talk too much and I can't back up my claims. 0:09:10.340 --> 0:09:14.100 And and Peter says, join the club. In other words, 0:09:14.100 --> 0:09:17.939 they could have given up. But they stood. They stood. 0:09:17.940 --> 0:09:22.020 They understood that the struggle that I'm going through is 0:09:22.020 --> 0:09:25.380 for the future. I'm going to. That the struggle is 0:09:25.380 --> 0:09:28.580 a part of making me who I'm going to become. 0:09:28.620 --> 0:09:31.220 It's the old butterfly coming out of the cocoon. The 0:09:31.220 --> 0:09:33.699 man was jogging. He saw it, wanted to help it 0:09:33.700 --> 0:09:36.140 broke it out. Next day he came. He thought it 0:09:36.140 --> 0:09:38.179 would just be a chrysalis. He wanted to take it 0:09:38.179 --> 0:09:40.660 up and show everybody how he helped the butterfly to fly. 0:09:40.700 --> 0:09:44.140 But the butterfly was dead. He went to his entomologist friend. 0:09:44.140 --> 0:09:46.940 That's a bug doctor. And he said, man, what's going on? 0:09:46.940 --> 0:09:50.220 I helped this thing out and wow, it was dead. 0:09:50.260 --> 0:09:53.340 The next day. And the entomologist, that's a bug doctor said, look, 0:09:53.340 --> 0:09:56.699 when you broke open the chrysalis, what you did was 0:09:56.740 --> 0:10:02.140 circumvented the process by which when he struggles, fluids leave 0:10:02.140 --> 0:10:05.300 his body go to his wings, which strengthens the wings 0:10:05.300 --> 0:10:09.100 to fly. When you circumvented the struggle, you circumvented the 0:10:09.100 --> 0:10:12.459 process where the fluid could flow, where he could fly. 0:10:12.500 --> 0:10:16.100 So he died. God wants to fill you with the 0:10:16.100 --> 0:10:21.220 Holy Spirit and anybody that circumvents that process, or helps 0:10:21.220 --> 0:10:24.980 you out and brings you out of that struggle. What 0:10:24.980 --> 0:10:28.100 they're doing is circumventing the flow of the Holy Ghost 0:10:28.100 --> 0:10:31.020 through your entire being, that you would be filled with 0:10:31.020 --> 0:10:36.459 the spirit to have God's fruit in your life. I'm 0:10:36.460 --> 0:10:40.780 working hard. I'm working hard, I'm working hard. And so 0:10:41.059 --> 0:10:45.140 he says. Thirdly, he says to take us to maturity. Uh, 0:10:45.179 --> 0:10:48.780 so he says, listen, we need to know God wants 0:10:48.780 --> 0:10:50.820 us to be mature. Goliath. 0:14:47.340 --> 0:14:50.580 Goliath wasn't a problem. Goliath was a platform. Everybody else 0:14:50.580 --> 0:14:53.020 looked at Goliath and said, he's too big to hit. 0:14:53.020 --> 0:14:55.140 What did David say? Come on, come on. He's too 0:14:55.140 --> 0:14:57.740 big to miss. That's right. And so, you know, what 0:14:57.740 --> 0:15:01.010 did he do? You know, Goliath got stone. God said, let me 0:15:07.970 --> 0:15:10.850 show you where I'm taking you. And so Goliath got 0:15:10.850 --> 0:15:14.130 him into the palace. Now, remember, he ran from Saul 0:15:14.450 --> 0:15:17.690 for the rest of those years, and he had an 0:15:17.690 --> 0:15:22.050 opportunity to get out of that tribulation a number of times. Remember, 0:15:22.050 --> 0:15:25.770 one time Saul was in a cave. David went in, 0:15:25.810 --> 0:15:28.770 cut a piece of garment off, and then said, I 0:15:28.890 --> 0:15:34.130 could have killed you, but I didn't. Why? Because he 0:15:34.130 --> 0:15:39.650 knew everything he's going through. God allowed it so he 0:15:39.650 --> 0:15:44.609 could be properly prepared when he took the throne. Doug 0:15:44.770 --> 0:15:47.130 cursed them and they said, I'm going to chop his 0:15:47.130 --> 0:15:48.850 head off one of his armor bearers. Oh, chop his 0:15:48.850 --> 0:15:51.010 head off, he said. Ah, how do I know?
