And for us to be 0:01:03.640 --> 0:01:07.119 able to celebrate the resurrection like we will just a 0:01:07.160 --> 0:01:10.440 few days from now. And for the next couple weeks, she kept 0:07:08.110 --> 0:07:11.270 bringing stuff and praying with her. And finally she couldn't 0:07:11.270 --> 0:07:13.430 take it anymore. The neighbor said, why are you being 0:07:13.430 --> 0:07:15.950 so kind to me? Many of us want 0:16:29.530 --> 0:16:32.490 the power of the resurrection, but we don't want the 0:16:32.490 --> 0:16:37.250 pain of the cross. That's right. She was hiding in a home in France 0:18:54.730 --> 0:18:59.570 with a widow who hid Jews. She said it's time 0:18:59.570 --> 0:19:02.010 for me to flee. It's no use. They're going to 0:19:02.010 --> 0:19:07.689 find me anyway. They're close. The Christian widow replied, yes, 0:19:07.690 --> 0:19:10.770 they will find someone. But it's time for you to 0:19:10.770 --> 0:19:13.770 get with the people who are escaping. She said, give 0:19:13.770 --> 0:19:18.730 me your identification. So she gave her her Jewish identification 0:19:18.930 --> 0:19:23.770 and she gave the Jewish woman her French identification. When 0:19:23.770 --> 0:19:28.650 the Gestapo came, the woman, who was French but had 0:19:28.890 --> 0:19:36.330 the Jewish woman's ID, was taken into custody. And this woman said, I came 0:19:39.850 --> 0:19:42.970 to know Christ as my personal savior because of that 0:19:42.970 --> 0:19:46.649 woman's sacrifice for me. And now I spend, and I 0:19:46.650 --> 0:19:51.610 will spend the rest of my life helping other people. 0:19:53.010 --> 0:19:56.170 You see, what happened over 2000 years ago is that 0:19:56.170 --> 0:19:58.969 the devil was coming because we are destined to go 0:19:58.970 --> 0:20:02.129 to hell.
