Now Paul says, let me 0:06:13.710 --> 0:06:17.109 tell you something. This is not new and improved. This 0:06:17.110 --> 0:06:19.870 is not something that you're hearing for the first time, 0:06:19.870 --> 0:06:23.310 he says. Back in the Old Testament, everybody begin to 0:06:23.310 --> 0:06:27.310 tell you about the fact that Jesus would die, be buried, 0:06:27.350 --> 0:06:30.390 and rose again and rise again the third day in 0:06:30.390 --> 0:06:33.350 the Old Testament. So you take Isaiah, what we call 0:06:33.350 --> 0:06:36.589 the fifth gospel in the Old Testament. Well, wait 0:07:09.990 --> 0:07:14.550 a minute. This is at least 400 years before Rome 0:07:14.550 --> 0:07:19.470 ever started using crucifixion as a means of execution. So 0:07:19.470 --> 0:07:22.270 God said, I done already set this thing up. He's 0:07:22.270 --> 0:07:25.910 delivered up because of the foreordained counsel of God. And 0:07:25.910 --> 0:07:28.350 God says he going to die on a cross. And 0:07:28.350 --> 0:07:34.070 people back then were saying, what is a cross? And 0:07:34.070 --> 0:07:38.270 now he confirms it. And 0:08:39.830 --> 0:08:42.670 a preacher count is when somebody says to another preacher, well, 0:08:42.670 --> 0:08:45.710 how many members you got in your church, preacher. And and the 0:10:24.300 --> 0:10:26.940 other preacher looks over and he says, man, why did 0:10:26.940 --> 0:10:30.140 you do this? Do what? That thing is on E, man. 0:10:30.500 --> 0:10:34.099 It's on E! And so, man, I don't feel like walking. 0:10:34.140 --> 0:10:37.179 You saw the sign next gas, 50 miles. So he turned to the 0:10:46.700 --> 0:10:49.460 page and then he chilled to he he calmed down 0:10:49.460 --> 0:10:52.780 because he read in the manual, uh, that this car 0:10:52.980 --> 0:10:56.620 has two gas tanks and that whenever one runs out 0:10:56.620 --> 0:10:59.260 of gas, you flip a button and that starts the 0:10:59.260 --> 0:11:02.020 second one and both of them took a chill pill. 0:11:02.059 --> 0:11:05.460 You know what? Why is it that one person has 0:11:05.460 --> 0:11:08.380 lost of their mom and they go to pieces, and 0:11:08.380 --> 0:11:12.179 another person has the peace of God that passeth all understanding. 0:11:12.179 --> 0:11:15.860 Why one person can can have their house foreclosed and 0:11:15.860 --> 0:11:18.700 they're giving praise to God, and another person is going 0:11:18.700 --> 0:11:22.660 crazy and drinking and drugging and doing everything else to 0:11:22.660 --> 0:11:26.380 try to deal with. Why is that? Because one man 0:11:26.380 --> 0:11:29.380 read the manual and the other man didn't. One woman 0:11:29.380 --> 0:11:32.100 read the manual and the other one didn't. See, when 0:11:32.100 --> 0:11:35.620 you read the manual, it will let you know that 0:11:35.620 --> 0:11:38.179 there is no temptation taken you, but such as common 0:11:38.179 --> 0:11:40.420 to man. But God is faithful who will not allow 0:11:40.420 --> 0:11:42.620 you to be tempted above that you're able to stand, 0:11:42.620 --> 0:11:44.940 but will, with the temptation, make a way of escape, 0:11:44.940 --> 0:11:46.700 that you may be able to bear it. There are 0:11:46.700 --> 0:11:49.380 some people who read the manual, and they get comfort 0:11:49.380 --> 0:11:53.420 because they know that the Bible says that. Count it 0:11:53.420 --> 0:11:56.340 all joy when you fall into divers temptation, knowing this, 0:11:56.340 --> 0:11:59.020 that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let 0:11:59.059 --> 0:12:01.660 patience have her perfect work that you may be complete 0:12:01.660 --> 0:12:04.820 and entire, lacking nothing. There's some people who read the 0:12:04.820 --> 0:12:07.700 manual where it says in Romans 828, and we know 0:12:07.700 --> 0:12:12.140 that all things, not most all things, not some all things, 0:12:12.140 --> 0:12:14.740 work together for good to those who love the Lord 0:12:14.740 --> 0:12:17.540 and those who are called according to his purpose. There 0:12:17.540 --> 0:12:20.140 are those who read the manual and they taking a 0:12:20.140 --> 0:12:22.780 chill pill as we go down the road of life. 0:12:22.860 --> 0:12:26.339 Somebody help the shelter. Somebody cool, calm and collected. You 0:12:26.340 --> 0:12:28.980 want to know why?
