WEBVTT - The Long Walk

0:00:00.000 --> 0:00:09.559
<v Speaker 1>Hello and welcome. This is now streaming with Jordan's Morning Warning.

0:00:11.600 --> 0:00:14.720
<v Speaker 1>The Long Walk is now something to catch on HBO Max.

0:00:14.800 --> 0:00:17.960
<v Speaker 1>It's a dystopian story involving a contest with young boys

0:00:18.000 --> 0:00:21.759
<v Speaker 1>participating in a competition, a long walk. They must maintain

0:00:21.800 --> 0:00:24.080
<v Speaker 1>a constant speed at least three miles per hour. If

0:00:24.120 --> 0:00:26.079
<v Speaker 1>they slow down for any reason, they get a warning.

0:00:26.160 --> 0:00:30.680
<v Speaker 1>After three, they're executed. Last man alive wins a ton

0:00:30.720 --> 0:00:33.680
<v Speaker 1>of money and the granting of any wish he desires.

0:00:34.080 --> 0:00:36.839
<v Speaker 1>This is a raw movie with course language, frankly some

0:00:36.920 --> 0:00:40.080
<v Speaker 1>difficult to watch scenes, but it's a compelling story about

0:00:40.120 --> 0:00:43.479
<v Speaker 1>people put to the test, some giving up, some inspiring

0:00:43.520 --> 0:00:45.560
<v Speaker 1>others to go on. It does feature the son of

0:00:45.600 --> 0:00:48.080
<v Speaker 1>the late Philip Seymour Hoffman, as well as Star Wars

0:00:48.120 --> 0:00:51.760
<v Speaker 1>Mark Hamill as the brutal major enforcing the deadly rules.

0:00:51.920 --> 0:00:54.400
<v Speaker 1>A dark thriller with a message, The Long Walk on

0:00:54.640 --> 0:00:58.120
<v Speaker 1>HBO Max, and that's now streaming with Jordan WZ Boston's

0:00:58.120 --> 0:00:58.720
