WEBVTT - The Sheep Detectives

0:00:00.110 --> 0:00:02.830
<v Speaker 1>Welcome, this is Now Streaming with Jordan. If there's one

0:00:02.970 --> 0:00:07.650
<v Speaker 1>secret to happiness in my life, it's taking care of

0:00:07.670 --> 0:00:11.270
<v Speaker 1>the kindest creatures on Earth. One of the few family

0:00:11.330 --> 0:00:14.610
<v Speaker 1>theatrical releases this year was a movie called The Sheep Detectives,

0:00:14.710 --> 0:00:18.340
<v Speaker 1>now available on Amazon, about a kindly shepherd named George Hardy,

0:00:18.500 --> 0:00:21.380
<v Speaker 1>played by Hugh Jackman, who loves his sheep, naming them all,

0:00:21.520 --> 0:00:23.960
<v Speaker 1>and tends to them like a father. He even reads

0:00:24.140 --> 0:00:26.759
<v Speaker 1>mystery novels to them every night before bed. Well, it

0:00:26.780 --> 0:00:29.020
<v Speaker 1>turns out the sheep in this movie not only have

0:00:29.080 --> 0:00:32.620
<v Speaker 1>distinct personalities, but they converse in English. And following George's

0:00:32.680 --> 0:00:35.479
<v Speaker 1>mysterious and tragic death, which is deemed a murder, it's

0:00:35.540 --> 0:00:38.560
<v Speaker 1>the sheep who help the local constable solve the case.

0:00:38.820 --> 0:00:41.110
<v Speaker 1>Quite a bit of comedy, most of it provided by

0:00:41.350 --> 0:00:44.729
<v Speaker 1>the sheep, led by Lily, voiced by Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and

0:00:44.810 --> 0:00:48.550
<v Speaker 1>Brian Cranston as Sebastian. Kids will certainly love the physical

0:00:48.590 --> 0:00:50.870
<v Speaker 1>antics of the sheep. There's also the sweet and sensitive

0:00:50.909 --> 0:00:53.890
<v Speaker 1>handling of death. and the key place that memory has

0:00:53.950 --> 0:00:57.060
<v Speaker 1>in our hearts. A fine family film, The Sheep Detectives.

0:00:57.180 --> 0:01:00.110
<v Speaker 1>And that's now streaming with Jordan WBZ, Boston's News Radio.
