WEBVTT - Below

0:00:00.030 --> 0:00:02.680
<v Speaker 1>Hello and welcome, this is Now Streaming with Jordan. Too

0:00:02.720 --> 0:00:04.760
<v Speaker 1>dangerous to go anywhere near it. There's something wrong with

0:00:04.780 --> 0:00:10.460
<v Speaker 1>that ice. What happened out there? I don't know. Love

0:00:10.480 --> 0:00:13.360
<v Speaker 1>a good monster movie, particularly when there's mystery as to

0:00:13.400 --> 0:00:15.700
<v Speaker 1>what exactly is going on. That's what's happening in the

0:00:15.720 --> 0:00:19.119
<v Speaker 1>Netflix series Below, a show that starts out with promise

0:00:19.300 --> 0:00:22.910
<v Speaker 1>and an eerie foreboding sense of something deadly lurking below

0:00:22.930 --> 0:00:26.470
<v Speaker 1>the water off the Newfoundland coast. Starring Josh Hartnett, a

0:00:26.510 --> 0:00:28.909
<v Speaker 1>widower and patriarch of a family that is forced to

0:00:28.950 --> 0:00:32.510
<v Speaker 1>confront not only a menace below, but greedy corporate land

0:00:32.550 --> 0:00:34.910
<v Speaker 1>grabbers who want to drive the family and all the

0:00:34.979 --> 0:00:38.339
<v Speaker 1>other residents away. The first couple of episodes work really well.

0:00:38.460 --> 0:00:41.239
<v Speaker 1>A mysterious iceberg appears in the bay. People coming in

0:00:41.300 --> 0:00:43.260
<v Speaker 1>contact with the ice get sick and some go a

0:00:43.280 --> 0:00:45.600
<v Speaker 1>little crazy. And with the help of a marine biologist,

0:00:45.640 --> 0:00:48.080
<v Speaker 1>we ultimately find out what we're dealing with. A very

0:00:48.159 --> 0:00:51.920
<v Speaker 1>large and dangerous creature just looking to protect her young. Overall,

0:00:52.020 --> 0:00:55.820
<v Speaker 1>below is below average. And that's now streaming with Jordan WBZ,

0:00:55.920 --> 0:00:56.940
<v Speaker 1>Boston's news radio.
